He phoned Bane while Molly and Heath dressed themselves, explaining the situation to his brother. Bane heartily congratulated him, though he sensed his unease. Too much was up in the air over Molly, and they had to find out why the vampires were circling. Bane offered the use of his old house to Ail, explaining how Rock had moved out since he recently mated. It stood empty and waiting. In low tones, he asked Bane if a particular room was still operable. He smiled when Bane answered him.
Perfect.
He used his keen vision, examining his brother’s old house from across the compound. To the left of the marsh, Bane had installed a playroom for the grownups, complete with paddles and restraints and so much more. He thanked Bane, then slid his phone inside the front pocket of his jeans, where an impressive erection begged for Molly’s attention. After seeing how his newfound mate responded to that butt plug Heath had inserted, Ail knew Molly enjoyed some of the many things he did. She just needed to get used to his touch.

“I told Renee I was going to put out a few resumes today, that I needed to borrow a dress,” Molly said wearily. “Would she really wear this for a job interview?”

“Probably,” Dru replied sheepishly. “I’m sorry, Molly. I should’ve glanced at the dress before I left the house.”

“I don’t want you showin’ this much skin in public, lass.”

“You and me both,” she agreed. “I wouldn’t even wear this to a club.”

Ail knew that he shouldn’t look, considering the way his sister-n-law, Renee, dressed and how Bane had a conniption every time they went out in the human world, but he had to face her. When he pivoted on his heel, he nearly swallowed his tongue, which would have been a feat in itself, considering how long it remained. “It’s crocheted.”

“Renee loves her vintage,” Molly said, a flush spreading high on her cheekbones.

She stood fidgeting with the woven bodice made of peek-a-boo patches, exposing more skin than not. When Ail squinted, he could have sworn he caught sight of a nipple. Probably, since she had to be braless under that excuse for clothing. Below her waist flared what was supposed to be a tie-dye gauze skirt, yet it barely covered her goods. Ail couldn’t imagine his mate wearing a dress smaller than the shop rags he used to wash and wax his car. He wiped his hand over his mouth, in case he was drooling. His eyes mistakenly dropped to her feet, and his knees about buckled. Her borrowed strappy platforms were five or six inches high, and the way they shaped her already shapely legs…“Those vintage, too?”

“It’s not like Renee can hold back on authenticity,” Dru said, while coming at Molly’s arm with a loaded syringe. “Hold still, sweetheart. This is the best anti-inflammatory medicine available.”

Heath rumbled. “Molly, how are you going to walk in those?”

She brought out one foot, wiggling her ankle. “I think I’ll have to be drunk first for maximum ankle flexibility.”

Dru laughed at her wit, extracting the hypodermic from her arm. “You’ll feel better in just a few minutes.”

A tiny drop left the tip of the needle. Vampire blood. The doctor had shot up his mate with his very own blood. “Ease the swelling?” Ail stepped closer.

“Yes, my
serum
will work far better than any modern day corticosteroid can. Molly’s been through a lot, Ail. I think you know that I will take the utmost care of my sister-n-law.” He dared to place a chaste kiss on Molly’s head. Even in those crazy platforms, she wasn’t nearly as tall as a Species vampire or the shortest of werewolves. “Whether she likes me or not,” he added with a knowing smile.

When Molly opened her mouth to answer Dru, her eyes nearly rolled back in her head. “What is that?”

“Oh, um, it’ll take the swelling from everything, releasing sore muscles. Bane was concerned you were aching from last night’s rough car ride,” Dru replied. “I’m sorry you had to go through all of that, Molly. Well, I have to go see a youngling about a compound fracture in the next building. It’ll take around two hours, if we have enough werewolves to hold him down. I’ll be back after that to help you with your particular errand.”

“My God,” Molly hissed. “No one told you about my swelling or the errand. You can read my mind!”

“Bane truly was concerned.” Dru’s smile widened before he misted away, saying, “Though, I’m guilty as charged.”

“Geez,” Molly moaned, holding her forehead. “Can I stop him from reading my mind?”

Heath shrugged. “Don’t worry about Dru.”

Ail cleared his throat. “Breakfast is on the coffee table.” He pierced her with an unwavering stare, one he used when sparing with other males. “Come here, sweetheart, so I can feed you.” He held his hand out for her, curling his fingers in a forward motion. When Molly widened her stance, placing her hands on her hips in a blatant show of rebellion, Ail deliberately licked his bottom lip. “I’m not repeating myself, because I know you heard me the first time.”

Heath reached down into a tiny refrigerator and pulled out a small bottle of orange juice. He tried to place it in Molly’s hand, but she shooed away his efforts. “You were hungry before all this started, lass,” he pressed in pacifying tones. “I insist you drink.”

“Let’s get something straight right now,” she raised her voice, though it still had a bit of a tremble to it, and glanced between them. “There will be no - and unlike Ail, I have no problems repeating myself - bossing me around. At all. Never will I run panting and wagging my tail for any man. I’ve done enough of that for he who is now known as the ex-husband, so don’t even bother trying to put me on your leash. If you do,” she yelled, shaking her already shaking finger at Ail, “werewolf or not, I will bolt so fast that I’ll leave skid marks on your posturing ass!”

Ail fought with everything he had not to pull his belt off and show her what a posturing ass could really do. Instead, he sat down in the closest chair, one of two in the tiny condominium, and patted his thigh. “You will sit in my lap, and I will feed you by my hand. This is my right.”

“Your…your
what
?” she stammered, taking a couple steps back until she knocked into Heath’s chest. She lifted her hand to her head, rubbing her temple, and immediately Ail scented her need.

“My
right
.” Ail didn’t know what his werewolf would do if Molly didn’t show some sign of - dare he think it - compliance. But it was either piss her off by feeding her from his hand, or he was about to get very, very sexual. The former might be easier for her to accept right now, though his werewolf couldn’t seem to wait long enough to lick between her thighs. “I’ll be honest. You know I’m not human. Not a drop of human blood runs through my veins, and I’m one proud male. Fuck being human, werewolves are
the shit
. Just so you know, my inherent instincts are driving me to take you. Hard and fast.”

Take
me,” she echoed. Then she stepped away from Heath as though his nearness suddenly irked her. “Since you saved my life, you think you can
take
me?”

“Has nothing to do with me saving your life.” Ail crossed his ankle over his opposite knee, settling back into the chair. “Your granny is a pureblood, so you’re one-quarter lycanthrope, Molly.”

She threw up her hands, not listening. “Cause, really, I’ve just about reached my limit for the week.”

“Just like your sisters, Tatum and Renee. You also have multiple mates.”

Her breath hitched when she continued her mumbling, “I said my thanks the best way that I could have.”

“Therefore, Heath isn’t the only one who is claiming you,” Ail persisted over her rambling. “
I
am.”

“After all,” she said as if he hadn’t spoken, sidestepping Heath again, “what can I possibly do for any of you…creatures.”

“There’s plenty you can do,” Ail said evenly, “starting with accepting the fact that you don’t belong in the human world. You belong with your mates. I want you to come here.” He patted his knee again, tilting his head toward the small table by the chair. “I phoned Renee and found out you like key lime muffins, stopped by the bakery afterwards. They have the powdered sugar on top and everything. I want to feed you one bite, Molly. One single bite and I’ll drop this. For now.”

“Why?”

“I’m guessing Heath got to bathe you.”

Her brows drew together. “The paint…he washed off the paint.”

“Werewolves reserve many things for their mates alone,” Heath explained gently, cupping her elbow when she took yet another step back. “Bathin’ and feedin’ are two of the many rights a male has with his female. They’re considered acts of nurturin’ affection, an emotion into themselves. Ail just found out that you were his female, too. And I don’t think that I could have contained myself the way he just did, walkin’ in on you grippin’ that butt plug while my mouth suckled your sweet pussy. But he did. The kindest thing you can do for Ail - and don’t forget that it was he who saved you last night from the vampires – is to hold him and eat the food he’s provided for you.” He pulled her along; bringing her closer to Ail’s lap, so he dropped his leg and opened his stance. Hoping and praying. “I cannot imagine the pain his werewolf is inflictin’ on him, while tryin’ to get to you.”

“H-how…,” she stopped talking when Heath placed her onto Ail’s thigh.

“This feels so right,” Ail whispered, tracing the slope of her nose with a careful fingertip. “I dare you to tell me you don’t feel this pull, Molly.”

Chapter Thirteen
W
hen Molly landed on Ail’s thigh, a spike of desire shot through her that she couldn’t fight. “You’re doing something to my head,” she accused.

Ail shook his head no, longer strands of ebony hair covering one eye. Reaching around, she cupped the back of his head, running her fingers through the shorter layers found there. “Absolutely not, Molly Ballbuster, and before you ask, neither is Heath.”
“This is truth, lass,” Heath susurrated. “In the bathroom just now, all I sent through you were tendrils of soothin’, in order to calm you. However, you managed to kick them right out of your head.” He gave her a greedy look, one that severely dampened her last pair of clean panties. “Pretty impressive, though I expect nothing less from my mate.”

“And Dru is a vampire, was he -” Molly got seriously distracted when ail trailed a simple fingertip over her collarbone, before tracing her throat up to her ear.

“He wasn’t coercing you, either, Molly. He was doing the lulling thing vampires do. More for my benefit than yours, Dru wanted to calm me, seeing as how I’m a youngling. I’m expected to, hmmm,” he stopped and swirled that same fingertip inside her ear and her nipples immediately shot out. “As a youngling, I’m expected to be more aggressive with my celestially appointed mate than a male of, say, Heath’s age.”

“Aggressive and I’m your celestially appointed mate,” she repeated. Heath’s hands slid up her thighs as Ail continued to tend that one ear, his other hand slowly roaming up and down her back. “Four hands, just like in my dreams.”

“Your dreams from Heat are your callin’, lass,” Heath said against the inside of her knee. “One of the reasons you are so calm now is because your body and mind prepared itself a long time ago to accept us.”
“It’s natural for mixed bloods,” Ail whispered, leaning down and brushing his lips across her jaw, just the faintest of touch. “You hated your sisters’ lifestyles, judged them for choosing their mates. Now, you want this for yourself. Again, natural for our kind, because, Molly, you are not entirely human.”

“Granny’s really a werewolf.” It wasn’t a question. “That explains a lot.” She thought of all the times, even in her childhood, when her grandmother would do and say the most outlandish things. “So my dad is?”

“Half,” Heath filled in, “and even though he married a complete human, you have more than enough blood to become immortal. Of course, that would be through proper mating, during the next full moon.”

Immortal? “Are Tatum and Renee?”

“Absolutely,” Ail murmured, his lips brushing the top of her lip, though he still didn’t kiss her.

She shifted when Heath’s kisses became bolder, trailing up her thighs, and Ail couldn’t take his eyes off the action. And every move she made sent electrical currents through her ass and womb. There wasn’t any way she could wear this anymore, so the butt plug had to take a hike. “Heath, no way, I can’t wear this thing.”

Heath reached under her tiny skirt and pulled her panties aside. “Ah, swelling’s down. You’re already back to normal. That was fast.”

“That’s not what I’m concerned about, and you know it.” She pressed her face against Ail’s chest when Heath inserted the very tip of his finger inside her dripping opening. She moved back and felt the rigid length of Ail’s erection against her hip. “It feels too strange when I sit.”

“Painfully foreign or simply uncomfortable,” Heath asked. “I told you that I don’t want you in pain. Though, just so you know, I can scent when you are.”

“I guess…it’s making me…”

“Horny?” Ail supplied. After a blurring movement, he then held a small piece of muffin to her lips. “Take a bite, Molly, from your male’s hand. It is my honor to feed you.” With the way he eye-smoldered her, there wasn’t any way for her to refuse. She parted her lips and he eased the tartly sweet confection inside her mouth. “Chew.” He swiped his thumb over her bottom lip, brought the remnants of powdered sugar to his full lips and licked his thumb clean. “I’m imagining licking something else, want to guess what that is, Molly?”

Guess? He didn’t leave anything to the imagination. When she swallowed, the muffin landed like a heavy lump. “There’s no way I can eat now, not with you two acting all proprietary.” She pushed the next bite away, her body dying for relief.

“You cannot eat because you can think of nothing else but what it would feel like to have two males taking you the way werewolves do,” Ail summed her up.

And she had to admit that he was spot-on. The need she had before was nothing compared to this, and she couldn’t deal with such bodily demands. And it didn’t help matters when Heath slid her panties down her legs, pressing the flat of his hand against her thigh to part her to his gaze. “You’re really my mate, too, Ail?”
