Dylan:

You’re very welcome.

Anything to make you

smile. How’s your
morning?

So far, I’m missing you
terribly

and can’t wait to see you
again.

You have been on my mind since

I woke up and I can’t seem to stop

smiling.

Chapter 9

I really need to work out what I’m
going do about Josh and Dylan. I still haven’t replied to
Josh’s text message about the date. I just don’t know
where Dylan and I stand. We’ve had sex, but he hasn’t
mentioned anything about being exclusive, so I’m guessing that
is not something he wants. Maybe I should give Josh one last chance.

Me:

Yes. Where would you

like to go?

Stallion:

I have something planned.

Just be ready at 7 tonight.

I’m driving to avoid

any runners tonight.

Me:

Well, don’t be an ass

and I won’t run.

I’m having a difficult time
getting ready for my date with Josh tonight. I have no clue what to
wear because he won’t tell me where we are going. I settle on a
pair of tight jeans and a very nice cleavage happy pink top. I hear
the doorbell ring as I’m sliding my boots on. Thank God, my
sister isn’t here to give me a lecture about Josh tonight. I
know I will have to tell her eventually, but I’m not in the
mood for her mothering me about Josh at the moment.

I answer the door and there is
Josh. I can’t help raking my eyes over his whole body from head
to toe. He is one fine specimen of a man. Tonight, he’s dressed
in a pair of black sneakers, dark but faded jeans that hang off his
hips, and a tight red shirt that shows off those gorgeous muscles.

“Well, hello there,
beautiful. You’re looking mighty fine tonight.” He leans
in and gives me a kiss on my cheek. The butterflies in my stomach go
crazy.

“Well, thank you, kind
gentleman. You don’t look so bad yourself.”

I grab my bag and a jacket and
head downstairs. He tells me he is glad I’m wearing jeans
tonight. I’m not sure how to reply to that, so I choose to say
nothing. When we reach the garage, I don’t see his car
anywhere. I give him a questioning look. He points to something I
wasn’t expecting, and the comment about my jeans suddenly
becomes clear.

He is driving a bloody motorcycle.
It’s quite a beautiful bike. Although, I don’t know much
about them, I’m guessing this one is quite expensive. It says
it’s a Ducati. It’s red and very sexy. He climbs on and
hands me a helmet.

“Hop on, Sash. I won’t
bite,” he says with a smirk. I jump on the back and straddle
it. He grabs my legs and pulls me so
my body is flush
against his. It’s a major turn-on being flushed so close to his
body with nothing separating us. Then he grabs my hands and wraps
them around his toned stomach.

“You need to hold on tight.
If I’m going too fast, or you get scared, just tap my stomach.”

I nod my head and we’re off.
Now, I understand the leather smell that clings to him and causes him
to smell so delicious. Having all this power between my legs, while
holding on to this breathtaking guy, feels absolutely amazing. What
more could a girl ask for?

I’m holding on so tightly,
my hands are becoming sore. I try to drop them, but he automatically
grabs them and pulls them back up against his body.

We finally come to a stop, and
what I see takes my breath away. We’re at a very secluded
picnic area. It’s full of wild flowers, and from where I am
sitting, I can see the beach just a little further down. It’s
gorgeous. Josh slides off the bike and removes his helmet, running
his fingers through his hair. He offers me a hand and helps me off
the bike. As I remove my helmet, I see him grab some things from the
saddlebag on the side of the bike. Then he takes my hand and leads me
to the beach. We take a seat on the ground and I’m captivated
by the view.

“I love this place,”
Josh says, breaking the silence. “My parents used to take me
here when I was a kid.” He’s staring off towards the
water.

I follow his gaze and reply, “It’s
breathtaking.”

I feel his gaze on me when he
replies, “Yes, Sasha, it truly is.”

I blush because I’m not sure
if he is talking about the view or something else, so I decide to
change the subject. I turn to meet his gaze and find him staring at
me like he can’t quite figure me out.

“How long since—”
I begin, but his lips slam down on mine, taking my breath away.

Josh knows how to kiss; that’s
for sure. He makes me go weak in the knees. I feel like my whole body
is made for him. I just want to hand it over and say, “Do what
you will with me.”

When the kiss ends, we’re
both breathless. Neither of us speaks for a good five minutes. We
just stare out at the view, each lost in our own thoughts. Josh
breaks the moment when
he decides
to go through his bag and pull out food, a small bottle of wine, and
plastic forks.

“I know it’s not a
five star restaurant; though, I did cook it all myself, so that has
to count for something,” he adds with a smirk. I get a look at
what he’s brought, and have to smile. He’s made
sandwiches, little quiches, and chocolate truffles. We eat in
silence. The food is simple, but it’s delicious. This man sure
knows how to cook.

“So, Sash, no chance of
running away tonight, so I would like to talk about why you’re
always doing that to me,” he says when we get to the dessert.
Just watching him eat turns me on and I can’t help but stare at
his mouth. I think he catches me because he grabs my chin, redirects
my eyes to his, and repeats the question.

“Because I don’t want
to get involved with someone who is screwing other women.”

“Who says I can’t
stick to one woman?”

Have you met yourself?
I silently question.

“Every time I’ve seen
you, you’ve had a different woman hanging off your arm,”
I say and I give him my ‘don’t bullshit me’ look.

“That might be true; though,
I only have eyes for one woman,” he says, granting me his
charming smile.

“That’s a load of
bullshit and we both know it. I’ve seen you with other women,
Josh, and you have very roaming eyes to be exact.”

“Well, maybe if you would
give me the time of day and stop believing what people say, you would
know that you are all I see. I have not slept with another woman
since I met you. Yes, women flirt with me and I flirt back, but you
seem to be doing the same with Dylan, am I correct?”

He has me stunned. He really
hasn’t slept with another woman since he has met me? Wow. I
don’t know what to do with this information and I really don’t
want to talk about my relationship with Dylan. I ask him if we can
just forget about everything else and just enjoy the now. I think
he’s uneasy with this heavy conversation too, because he
quickly agrees. Suddenly, he grabs me, lifts me up over his shoulder,
and jogs towards the beach. I scream at him to put me down, but he
just slaps my ass and laughs.

*****

We have had a great time tonight.
We have talked about so much, and I’ve discovered he really is
a great guy. Yes, he has a cocky side to him, but I think that’s
what makes him, him. The simple gestures is how I know he has a soft
side, with opening a door for me every time we go somewhere, or how
he feels he has to constantly be touching me. He asks me if I would
like to go back to his house for some coffee. I agree and the ride
back is just as beautiful as the ride there, though I feel more at
ease now and I’m not gripping the life out of him.

When we arrive at his apartment,
he helps me off the bike, grabs my hand, and leads me inside. I
continue to the lounge room while he goes to makes us coffee. Out of
the corner of my eye, I notice him taking a few pills. I decide not
to question him on it because it’s obviously his business, but
I’m curious.

I guess I’m lost in thought
because I’m surprised when I feel a set of arms wrap around me.
He spins me around and we start kissing again. Unlike the romantic
kisses on the beach, this one is full of passion. This one is
definitely a panty-dropping kiss, and I’m getting so turned on
that I start climbing his body. He grabs my legs and I wrap them
around him. That’s when I know he is having the same reaction
as me; it’s very evident in his pants and it’s poking me
in all the right places.

We break away and I see his face
slowly change from desperate to regret. He gently drops my legs, and
I slide down his body, still feeling his massive erection. I look up
and give him a questioning look.

“I don’t want you to
regret anything. And I want you to be with me, and only me. I don’t
play second fiddle to anyone, Sash, even if that means I have to have
ten cold showers a day.”

I don’t know how he would
know if I’ve done anything with Dylan, but I understand what he
is saying. Being with two men doesn’t make me happy; it makes
me nervous, apologetic and it makes me have regrets; they are both
wonderful men. I think he sees my inner dilemma when I look up at
him.

I see a brief smile, but then it
fades as fast as it came.

“I mean, if you want me,
Sash, you have to be with only me. I don’t share things that
are mine. You are not a one-night stand. I have very strong feelings
for you. I know if I go where I want to go with you, and then saw you
with anyone else, I would end up in jail.”

Wow, I did not see that coming,
and I’m even more shocked as he continues.

“I thought you were the most
beautiful girl I’d ever laid eyes on that first night in the
club. I knew I had to have you. I know I messed up at the drags. Then
I saw you talking to Dylan, and I could tell you liked him by the
look in your eyes. I realised
if I still had a chance, then I better take it soon; otherwise, I
would never get to.”

I just stand shocked, because he
is player, right? I just don’t know if I can go there with him.
He is by far the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen, and he makes my
body have crazy and wonderful feelings, but I don’t know if
that’s enough. He has shown me a completely different side to
him tonight and it’s beautiful, but I can’t have that
kind of relationship. I can’t let myself get too close.

“Look, Josh, I’m not
sure I’m ready for commitment like that. I like you a lot, but
I don’t think we want the same things.”

“I’m not asking you to
marry me, Sash. I’m just asking for a shot to show you I’m
not who you think I am.”

He says all the right words, but
does he really mean them?

“Okay, well, would you mind
taking me home?”

“You’re not running
again, are you, Sash?”

“No, Josh, I just need to
have time to think. I’ve never wanted anything like this. I try
my best to stay away from it,”
and being around you only makes me want to rip my clothes off and let
you have your way with me
,
I finish silently.

“Okay, I can give you that,”
he says, and I can see his disappointment.

He drops me off at my apartment
and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

“I’ll wait, Sash,
because you’re the kind of girl a guy waits for. Just don’t
leave me hanging, please.”

I just nod my head, the ability to
speak as abandoned me.

“Goodnight, beautiful, and
thanks for coming tonight.” And with that, he’s gone.

Chapter 10

I wake up the next morning feeling
very confused. I have two gorgeous guys who I really like, and don’t
know what to do. One of the guys wants more than sex from me, and the
other, I’m not sure where we stand.

I don’t want to talk to Lola
about this. I know she will just blow Josh off because she thinks he
isn’t good enough for me. So my best option is our best friend.
I give Brit a call to ask her to come over and she is at my house
within half an hour.

“So spill, tell me
everything,” she demands.

For the next twenty minutes, she
patiently listens to my drama about both guys.

“Well, you are sure in a
pickle, darling.”

“I know, Brit. I just don’t
know what to do.”

“Well, I’m not going
to tell you who to pick, Sash. You have to decide that yourself.”

“I know. It’s just so
complicated!”

“Well, it really isn’t
if you stop thinking with your head and start thinking with your
heart,” she tells me vaguely.

What the hell does that mean?

“Okay, girl, we are going to
do something else today to take your mind off these guys. Then,
hopefully, it will make the decision easier,” she says, pulling
me up and dragging me out the door with her. Luckily, my bag is right
next to the door, so I quickly snatch it up as we pass by.

We head to the beach for some fish
and chips and relaxation, before hitting the city for some retail
therapy. I notice Koby before Brit does, and I hope he doesn’t
spot us. He’ll ruin our day and it’s been so great so
far. I quickly pull Brit inside the store a bit further, hoping to
avoid him.

But luck is not on my side. I
watch Koby walk in a few moments later. Brit follows my eyes and
spots him too. She grabs hold of my hand and squeezes it tightly.

“Hi, girls,” he greets
us immediately. “Brit can we talk, please?”

“No, Koby, I’m
spending the day with Sash, and I told you to not contact me
anymore.” She looks upset and I wonder what is really going on
with Koby to make her feel so nervous. She is usually such a
strong-willed girl.

“I know, Brit, but I still
love you. We used to have something really special. Don’t you
want that back?”

“No, I’ve moved on and
I’m over you, so please, leave me alone.” I can tell
she’s scared by the death grip she has on my hand, but her
voice gives nothing away.
