He was consumed with her. She surrounded him completely. Her
touch, her body, her scent. Thrusting deep, his hips bumped against hers as he
increased his speed, oxygen locked in his lungs and making his chest burn. The
familiar build up rolled down his spine, through his cock and he reached
between them, circling and flicking her clit with his index finger so they
could both come together.

“I’m close,” he panted, their gazes meeting. “Are you
close?”

She nodded and pressed him closer, her hands squeezing his
ass. “Yes…don’t stop.”

Skin slapped against damp skin, their moans growing louder,
the mattress squeaking from abuse. Brandon glanced to his right, saw Eric
watching them almost dispassionately as he sat in a chair. He was naked but his
cock was limp. He didn’t appear aroused whatsoever.

He looked damned bored.

Closing his eyes, Brandon shook his head. Couldn’t focus on
the irritation on his lover’s face, could only concentrate on his orgasm, on
bringing Lexi her climax as well. Clenching his jaw, he pounded inside her with
abandon, letting himself rage out of control. Fucking her until he felt the
first tremors of her climax clench around his cock and it brought forth his own
orgasm with a vengeance.

It didn’t take away the pain he felt for Eric—the pain he
believed he was causing Eric. Or the strange emotion that settled within him
over Alexa.

What the hell was wrong with him, feeling this way?
So…ambivalent regarding Eric’s feelings while he was so completely attuned to
Alexa’s? God, his head was a mess.

Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea after all.

Chapter Nine

“You didn’t tell your friend about…us did you?”

Alexa looked at Eric and Brandon as she led them through the
gated backyard, disbelief making her eyes widen. They’d been at it for over a
month, together constantly and now they asked if she didn’t tell her best
friend about them?

She laughed and shook her head, her dark hair swinging about
her heart-shaped face as she led both Eric and Brandon into the house. “Not
yet, though I do plan on telling her. Eventually.”

Eric halted in his tracks, causing Brandon to run into the
back of him with a muttered curse. “You can’t tell her.”

Alexa turned and stared at him incredulously, right in the
middle of the grand foyer of her friend’s parents’ home. “Why not? She told me
about her—,” she glanced around, made sure no one was near, “—cross-dressing
boyfriend.”

“Trying on panty and bra sets doesn’t qualify someone as a
cross-dresser,” Brandon pointed out from behind him.

Eric shook his head with a quiet chuckle. Alexa had
gleefully regaled them with that particular story, expressing her dismay over
having to face her friend’s now fiancé knowing he pranced around in her
underwear.

She’d regaled them with many stories over the last month.
They spent most of their time together—three of them practically all of the
time. Though if he were being honest, Brandon and Alexa seemed to be growing
closer to each other.

Something he really didn’t like to focus on.

If they weren’t working, they were together and it was
always fun. Hell, even when Brandon was working, Eric and Alexa were at the gym
working out. Sending him knowing glances and causing quite the scandal since
the regulars had figured out the three of them had a thing going on.

Eric couldn’t quite define what they shared, but he didn’t
complain. He was enjoying himself. Mostly.

Brandon rested a hand on his shoulder, causing him to
inwardly wince. If he was uncomfortable with anything in this newfound aspect
of their relationship, it was his jealousy toward what Brandon and Lex shared.
His jealousy pissed him off, which in turn left him feeling a little pissed off
with Brandon and Alexa.

It sucked. He had no one to talk about it with either. Not
like he could confide in any of his work friends. They knew he was gay but no
one really talked about it. And he couldn’t talk to his family. He’d finally
come out to them only a few short years ago and things had been restrained
between them ever since.

He felt kind of…lost.

“Let’s not talk about that here. Who knows if any family
members or close friends are lurking.” Alexa straightened her shoulders and
smiled. She looked fresh and pretty in a pale yellow dress and strappy sandals.
Dressed up for her friend Stacy’s engagement party. “The party’s outside. Let’s
go get something to drink.”

They wandered outside, earning more than one curious stare
as they passed. Surely they looked odd, the three of them together versus just
a couple. It was one thing to be gay and enter a room of strangers with your
boyfriend on your arm. It was another thing entirely to walk into a party of
strangers as a little group of three.

“Alexa!” The excited cry caused them to look in the direction
it came from. A pretty woman with long, light brown hair came running toward
them, a giant smile on her face. “I’m so glad you’re here.”

The two women embraced, Eric and Brandon standing awkwardly
beside them. There had been an unspoken truce between the two men, dealing with
the fact that they were both involved with Alexa. It was as if they’d forgotten
who the original couple was in this relationship. That they were the ones who
were supposedly in love and together and nothing could keep them apart, not
even a woman. Hell, two months ago if someone would have told Eric a woman
would interfere with his relationship with Brandon he would have laughed in
that person’s face.

Now he found himself jealous, falling out of love with
Brandon and falling in love with Alexa. Was it because everything felt
so…different with her? After only being with men was the newness of a woman’s
body the one thing that had him so far gone? He still found pleasure being with
Brandon, he couldn’t deny that but with Alexa, the entire experience was
so…exciting.

It made no damn sense.

“My future mother-in-law is already acting like a
controlling freak,” the woman, obviously Alexa’s friend Stacy, murmured with a
knowing look. Her gaze darted between Eric and Brandon. “Introduce me to your
friends.”

Heavy emphasis on the word friends, Eric noticed.

“Stacy, this is Brandon and Eric.” Alexa didn’t offer any
sort of explanation.

Eric shook Stacy’s hand, as did Brandon. “Nice to meet you
both. How do you know Alexa?”

“Old friend,” Eric said and Brandon merely nodded. He shot
him a weird glance, wondering why he didn’t say anything.

“Oh.” Stacy’s brows lifted. “I think Alexa told me about
you.”

Shit. What the hell did she say?

“You reunited at the wedding right? Her brother’s wedding? I
wish I could’ve made it that night. I haven’t seen Austin in forever, and I
would’ve gotten the chance to meet you then. So I assume you’re his boyfriend?”
Stacy looked expectantly at Brandon.

Brandon’s mouth opened, ready to agree but Alexa interrupted
him. “Actually they’re both
my
boyfriends.”

“What?” Stacy’s eyes went wide just before she started to
laugh. “You’re so funny. I wish I had two boyfriends.”

“I’m serious.” Alexa’s expression was painfully so, as if
ready for the challenge. “All three of us are in a relationship.”

Stacy’s jaw dropped open as she stared at them. “Really.”

“Yes, really. We’ve been together about a month.” Alexa
stepped back so she was between them and looped her arms through both of
theirs.

Her friend sputtered for a few seconds. “What do your
parents think about this?”

Alexa’s little stubborn chin lifted. “They don’t know yet.”

Well, hell they were sure to hear about it soon. Eric was
mortified. He loved the Langs like they were his own family. The last thing he
wanted to do was offend them by being in a three-way relationship with their
precious only daughter.

Jesus, it sounded sordid in his head, and he was one of the
key players. What would others think about it?

“Alexa, what are you thinking…”

“Look, this isn’t the time to talk about it, okay? Go greet
your guests and hug your fiancé for me.” Alexa withdrew from them and went to
Stacy, wrapping her in a quick hug. “Let’s get together for lunch or something
soon okay? We can talk about it more then.”

“Okay.” Stacy offered them a weak smile. “Uh, nice meeting
you guys. Go get something to eat or drink, there’s plenty, a complete buffet.”

She walked away, glancing at them one quick time over her
shoulder before she practically ran across the lawn toward a group of people
standing by the makeshift bar. Eric looked to his left to find Brandon
glowering at Alexa, a murderous glint in his eye.

“Why the hell did you tell her that?” he demanded.

“Why did I tell her what? That we’re all involved?” Alexa
shrugged, completely unfazed. “I’m tired of denying it.”

“We’ve never asked you to deny a thing,” Eric said quietly,
and she glared at him.

“Yes, but we never talk about it either. What exactly is
going on between us?”

The three of them stood silent, Brandon still glaring and
Eric felt distinctly uncomfortable.

It was going to be a long night.

“Tell me, Eric. Brandon. What the hell is going on between
the three of us?” she asked again.

“We’re…experimenting?” Eric offered. Why the hell did she
have to bring this up here? Tonight?

“This is more than experimenting and you know it,” Alexa
said, her voice low as she took a step closer to them. “You’re fucking me. He’s
fucking me. You’re fucking each other. We’re all three fucking each other. What
do you suppose we call this? Hmm?”

She looked awfully expectant, and Eric had no idea what to
say to her.

It appeared Brandon hadn’t a clue either. He’d gone
completely mute.

Eric knew he had to be irritated. Nothing Brandon hated more
than a confrontation in a public place. And at a party where he knew no one? He
should be really pissed off.

Alexa had no idea what she was provoking. Hell, she loved
nothing more than provoking Brandon. Not only sexually but they seemed to enjoy
arguing, going round and round over political views, social views, hell even how
things played out on a favorite television show.

It drove Eric crazy. The nonstop arguing usually ended in
them involved in a passionate embrace or some such shit.

It looked like it was about to get mighty argumentative here
in about two seconds.

Alexa crossed her arms in front of her chest as she stared
down her two lovers. Not just one but two. A fact she still could hardly wrap
her mind around even after being with them for over a month.

Together a month and she already cared for both of these
men. Eric because she’d known him so long ago and had always had a special
place in her heart for him.

And Brandon, well because he’d forced himself into her heart
and wouldn’t let go. Had a stranglehold on her that was hard to ignore—she
didn’t want to ignore it either. Wanted to explore it more, see where it took
them.

Them—just her and Brandon.

Now she practically dared them to deny what they had. Eric
wouldn’t even look her in the eye. She had no idea what went on in that
secretive mind of his. She thought they were growing closer these last few
weeks. At first he’d been so open, so willing to talk to her about anything.
But as time went on he withdrew, until she felt as if he hardly revealed
anything to her. As if he didn’t even want to be around her.

It hurt. She definitely felt closer to Brandon. Not just
sexually but emotionally and that fact, well, she could hardly believe it.

“We shouldn’t discuss this here,” Brandon murmured. She
could hear the anger in his voice, saw the flash of emotion in his expressive
eyes and it fueled her. Made her want to get him even more worked up, angrier,
until they were yelling and screaming.

And then kissing and fucking…

God, she was twisted. Every time they argued, it led to sex.
Passionate, all consuming, multi-orgasm inducing, delicious sex.

“Then where else are we going to discuss it? We certainly
never talk about anything like this when we’re at home. We’re usually too busy
groping each other to get a serious conversation in.” She thought of their
place as her home now too. She’d practically moved in these last couple of
weeks.

“Not here, Lexi,” Brandon warned, reaching out to grab her
arm. His long fingers curled about the crook of her elbow, and he hauled her
close so that she stood next to him. “We’ll discuss it later.”

“Later, right. You’re both going to pretend nothing unusual
is going on between us. It’s better to act like you’re ignoring it rather than
confront the real issue.” She looked at Eric. She wondered what he thought,
what he wanted from her. What he wanted from Brandon. At first she’d felt
guilty, almost as if she were breaking their relationship apart.

But now…now she wasn’t so sure. Brandon was so responsive
toward her, so passionate. He didn’t behave in the same way with Eric. Eric
didn’t seem as interested in her either. The axis had shifted. Whereas before
it had been Brandon and Eric as the couple and she the extra now she felt as if
she and Brandon were together. And Eric was the extra.

She wondered if Eric was angry at her for that. For changing
their relationship. Even potentially breaking it up.

God, this was so confusing. She wasn’t sure she could deal
with it much longer. She wanted answers. Confirmation. And if the answers
weren’t what she wanted to hear, then so be it.

Her heart ached at the thought of losing these two men from
her life. At the idea of losing Brandon. God, she didn’t think she could stand
it.

“Listen, Lex, I know you’re confused,” Eric started, his
eyes kind, a faint smile curling his lips. “Hell, I’m confused too. But we
can’t discuss it here. At your friend’s engagement party with all of her
coworkers and family staring at us as if we sprouted three heads. Why don’t we
talk about it when we get home? Or better yet, tomorrow, when we’ve all had
enough sleep and are thinking clearly.”

“I am thinking clearly.” She withdrew from Brandon’s grip,
took multiple steps away from the both of them. “I know exactly what I want to
talk about, and I don’t care if anyone is staring at us or not. I want to
discuss this. I need to discuss this. Now.”

“Not here,” Brandon warned again as he shook his head
slowly. “Later tonight, Lexi.”

“No.” Turning, she fled, headed back toward the house. “It’s
now or never, guys. I mean it,” she tossed over her shoulder.

She stared up at the imposing two-story house, noticed that
every window was lit from within. Stacy’s parents were wealthy. They lived in a
gated community full of huge, impressive houses, each more grand than the next.
She walked through the open double French doors, took in the expansive living room.
The décor was stark white accented with blue, a coastal theme since they lived
not far from the beach. The house was practically empty. She caught a glimpse
of a few people mingling in the kitchen but no one paid her any attention.
Turning left, she went down a short hall until she came upon a staircase.

Deciding screw it, she headed up the stairs, desperate to be
alone—get some breathing room, collect her thoughts. She knew Stacy was
gossiping with each and every one of their friends at this very moment about
her startling revelation. She loved her friend, but she knew she had a big
mouth. Not that she could blame her.
