"No."

I move my hips, pressing against his hand, urgent need.

He slides his finger hard against me, "You love the friction. You love the pressure. Now dare deny you don't live for pressure."

I cant answer. He has one finger pushing against my hardened fuck me hard and fast and NOW, pleasure centre, and definitely two more inside me, moving so immaculately that I'm going to cum.

I shudder, my breath bursting out hard, the acute sensation overriding everything else. My head is reeling with dizziness from shortness of breath from sensation overload. Moaning, my body soaks his fingers, holding them tight.

"Tell me you love my pressure."

"I love your pressure."

Lips close over mine, his tongue invading my mouth, his fingers still inside me, when alarm grabs my heartbeat and fastens a hold so tight, it refuses to beat.

I press hard against his chest. Inhaling deeply. It's not Seithe!

"
Seithe!
"

The hand withdraws and I know I am alone in the dark.

Instantly the room floods with light as Seithe manifests next to the bed. His silver eyes glowing with alert perception.

"Were you just here? Did you ..."

He leans over me and inhales. I shut my eyes against the floodlights his eyes have just become.

"Summon him! Summon him now!"

"Seithe he ..."

"I can smell it.
Bring him here now Phoebe!
"

Chapter 24: Manipulation

Gulping, shame flooding my cheeks, I say the name I swore I'd never say.

"Jowendrhan."

The torches have spontaneously jumped back to life, and I watch Jowendrhan manifest at the end of the bed, a smirk playing his mouth into alluring bemusement.

In smudging motion, too fast for my eyes to see, Seithe blurs into Jowendrhan.

A yelp escapes my throat with fright, pulling my knees up, hiding my nakedness behind a pillow, as the two of them crash into the wall behind the sheer curtain.

I can't see them but I hear laughing.

"What Brother? Can't handle the fact that she moaned for me? Her tight slippery body sucking my fingers until she saturated them with desire and passion?"

His voice is sneering; tears well instantaneously in my eyes.

"
Reject half breed!
"

Flinching I sink back against the wall as I hear a horrific sound. I think Seithe just hit him.

"I'll fucking deport you!
"

Jowendrhan is laughing again. His laugh is different.

"You can't! I've never broken a law. You can't touch me. She verbalised every desire Seithe. I haven't taken anything she didn't willingly give!"

"She thought it was me!"

"Not my fault she can't tell us apart."

"You are such a perverse wanker!"

Crashing cacophony followed with more smug laughter.

"Delicious nipples. Nice taste, Seithe. I still have her all over my hand. She's as much mine as she is yours now."

No!
My eyes clench tightly closed in horror.

An unearthly
roar
emanates behind the curtain, the room flooding with light.

I start shaking violently. Tremors seize my body with unparalleled fear.

"Love? You think she loves you? They are just nerve endings. I proved it. It's not
you
she loves, it's what we do to that little body. So tiny, how can you resist? When our kind are all so tall?" His voice is derisive, his tone despicable.

"Seithe, you stupid fool. My hands have touched her inside and out. My mouth in hers, her nipples aroused by
my
fingers, my tongue, my mouth tasting her sweetness; her plaintive gushy voice broken with passion asking for more pressure, I gave her more, and she asked for more, and I
gave her more
! A command I was honour bound to answer! So tiny, so fragile, so soft, so supple, so smooth, so delicately seductive. She's so hot and velvety wet, she must be fucking incredible wrapped around your penis!"

"
Stop it!
" I am beyond fear. I cannot listen to him.

"Oh Phoebe baby, don't deny you didn't ask for it."

"
You manipulated me!
" Dammit. My voice cracked, coming out husky.

"I can still smell you, I've sucked you off my fingers, bonded with you. You taste fucking incredible."

The curtain moves and I stare up at silver eyes glowing dangerously.

"Fuck you!"

"You will. And I already have fucked you. So easy to turn your body into molten desire. Soft hair draping over my skin. You missed that part, you were still sleeping. Your tiny soft hands wrapped around me, your breath in my mouth. I can still taste you."

"Stop it!"

"Your slender legs, so different to the strong legs of our kind. You're soft in all the right places, your body responds to the slightest touch, even to breath. The way your neck tilts back, begging for a bite when I rub you, making you hot. Your moist lips parting, as your breathing increases, your nipples hardening, your hips pushing down, all subconsciously." He starts laughing at me.

I have hot tears falling. I am so ashamed.

"I can still smell you from here, the way you sweetly start dripping with desire. The overflowing cup called woman. Your innocence and naiveté is just refreshing."

"STOP IT! Go away! LEAVE!"

As I say this, Seithe's arms clamp around Jowendrhan's neck. The two of them just vanish.

A sob has my throat in a headlock, the ache so intense it's like an ice-pick impaling me. In bitter misery I start yanking clothes back on. I'm going home. I can't do this.

I have only one choice to get home. I don't care about the clothes, the perfume, my toothbrush. I want out.

NOW.

Ellindt kissed me, which means I can summon her.

Nervously I rake violently quivering fingers through my hair and take a deep breath. Fear clutching my body in a death embrace.

"Ellindt."

Instantaneously she appears in front of me, breathing provocatively, staring through smoky eyes into mine.

"You called?"

Tilting her head, a seductive laugh smothers my senses.

"Take me home."

She arches an eyebrow, "No manners either I see."

Yet she places a gentle hand on my head and within moments I find myself standing in my cold loft.

"Why didn't I pass out?"

Slow derisive laughter tickles my nape.

"They do that deliberately."

"Why?"

She walks to in front me as my lamp switches itself on.

"Women are more gentle. I don't have to force my will on you Phoebe. You will come around without me doing anything to subject you to fear."

Frowning, I watch her waltz around my home, opening drawers and peering inside.

"I see your taste in underwear is as boring as your taste in clothes. Pink lace, pink lace, or black. Did you go to a convent or something?"

This just irks me.

Sarcasm activated.

"Isn't Heff missing you at the mansion?"

"Heff?"

Lordy, you're not the tastiest cookie in the jar are you?

"Playboy? Hello?"

She laughs flirtatiously before walking back toward me.

"At some point Phoebe, you will conclude that women are better for you in this world."

My god she's coming on to me! No!

"Isn't some teenage boy missing you in his wet dream right now?"

Her laugh surrounds me salaciously, she's too close for comfort.

"All you're missing are baby crocodile earrings. Their clamped teeth would suit you perfectly."

She stares at me, eyes beginning to glow.

"Just go."

I love this, she vanishes like a phantom of my imagination.

Rasping raggedly I stalk to the freezer and extract the vodka. Pouring generously, I dilute it with raspberry juice in a glass. Downing half of it right at the counter before moving to my futon.

Now what? The hornet's nest has been disturbed and they're all running around with their stingers out, wanting a human called Phoebe.

It's not like I can exactly phone Ariel or Jayne and talk about any of this. They'll have me committed and plan a sanity intervention before I've even finished my drink.

Despairing, I feel tears prickle. I'm utterly alone with this madness. How do I know I'm not hallucinating all of this anyway?

My senses scream at me, my spine stiffens as every hair follicle lining my vertebrae tenses with alarm.

Standing fast, I twist around, and see Seithe poised behind my chair.

Oh my god!

"Seithe! Oh God!"

Chapter 25: Honesty

Rushing to his aid, my hands start shaking violently again.

"I thought you couldn't get wounded?"

"I said you can't kill me. Nothing can undo my existence. But we are warriors, Phoebe. Skilled at combat, divinely powerful."

Swallowing my fear, I assist him onto the futon.

"What must I do?"

"Nothing. I just need the time to repair myself."

"What happened?"

He gives me a glance of pained brown eyes, a hand over the slash in his shirt, favouring the spot tenderly. His face is battered, he looks like a boxer who's been stuck in a cage practising Chilla Kasi, or battling bunyips and popobawa with hell hounds, and he came off second best.

"Despite appearances I'm older and better skilled than he is. It should be a couple of days before he comes after you again."

"And he looks worse than you do?"

He nods, a vague grin tilting the corners of his mouth.

"We heal rapidly. I'll look normal again inside of four hours."

I hand him my vodka and juice.

"What do you need from me?"

A hand shoots out and snatches me, pulling me off balance and into his lap. A faint wince escapes his provocative lips.

"Love me. That's all I ask of you. Don't stop. Don't let them get to you or interfere."

Gently I trace my fingertips over his battered face. Depositing tender kisses on his wounds.

"We can kiss better. It's not just a saying, it really works."

"It works because you believe it does. You humans have always underestimated the power of conviction and faith."

Lordy, you are in a sombre mood.

Protective instincts demand my attention. Insistently I peel his shirt off and stare at the gash across his midsection. I can literally watch it healing. Jack's beanstalk has nothing on this lot.

I cover him with soft kisses, between gentle caresses. Wanting to soothe.

"How did you get home?"

"Ellindt."

He tenses beneath my hands.

"Phoebe, be careful who you summon. That's how we create attachment."

I sit back and stare at him. Watching his eyes morphing between colours so fast they seem like a kaleidoscope.

Worming my hand inside his, I squeeze it softly, "What aren't you telling me?"

His head flops back as he exhales heavily. My stomach clenches in reaction.

"When we fell, we hated the lot of you. You who had God's grace, mercy, forgiveness, not to mention free will. We were sickened with the way you've used free will. For some reason your kind like to inflict emotional and physical damage not just on each other and your young, but also on the animals created to be your companions. They used to instinctively trust you. You fucked that one up royally."

His eyes open and I survey two pinpoints of light move across the ceiling.

"Some of us became outraged. Unprepared to sit back and watch you screw up something perfect. You took what was beautiful and made it ugly. They became the red eyes. We didn't know it back then, we had no idea what the consequences would be of taking retribution into our own hands."

Listening intently I pick up the glass and take a sip before handing it to him. He depletes the contents and finally stares at me.

"The red eyes despise humans. They hate your free will, and what you've done with it. You have a huge capacity for love and a spirit you share. But you work against yourselves. They take great pleasure in taking life. Draining your blood slowly, inflicting the most amount of pain they can, as pay-back for the pain you've given this planet and each other … they can separate you from your Spirit."
