Bhric wandered away, disappearing into the shadows once again. Gage worried about him. For months he’d not been himself. He was growing less sociable every day, and spending a lot of time away from Dark Moon where no one knew where he went.
“Hey, honey.” Sienna plastered her front to his back and kissed him behind his ear and scraping her teeth across his sensitive spot.
He growled, his dick growing hard. “You know you can’t kiss me like that unless you’re willing to back it up.”
“Never said I wasn’t.” She hooked her arm around his waist and pressed her hand to his groin.
“Upstairs now. Naked, on your hands and knees. I’ll be there in five.”
She shivered against him and pressed her mouth to his ear. “I’ll be ready in two.”

Gage followed her to their room in three minutes. Giving her an extra minute just in case. He opened the door and found her just as he requested except for one small thing. Wonders never ceased for him when it came to his mate.
He undressed while staring at the small box sitting on her back just above the curve of her hips.
“What’s this?”
“It’s been six months and you proved me wrong so I thought I would give you something special.”
He didn’t have to ask what she was talking about, he knew. In their six amazing months he reminded her often. Love at first sight. It was real.
“Are you saying you believe me?”
She wagged her bottom. “Open it and then you tell me.”
He was torn. Fuck her first or open the box. There was enough feline in him that his curiosity got the best of him. He grabbed the box, shoved the ribbon off and opened. Nestled inside he found a small package with rows of pills.
In shock he grabbed her around the waist and flipped her to her back. “Are these your birth control pills?”
She nodded, biting her lip. “I don’t want them anymore.”
He felt his gut get tight as he choked up at the gift she offered him. It wasn’t the pills or the future baby that mattered as much as the trust. She had so much love to give to him and everyone around them, but she was always afraid to take it for herself. Until now.
“I love you, babe.”
Her face softened, getting that dreamy look he adored. “I know you do.”
He pushed her back on the bed and came over her. “Sienna, he whispered against her ear. “I love you.”
She pushed her hands in his hair and tugged him into her neck. “I love you too, Robert.”
