A smile split her lips. Yep. Sex happened on that desk.

Chapter Seven

Temair’s fingers shook as she pressed the unlock button for
the downstairs door and let Evan into the building. After Evan left earlier,
she didn’t accomplish much. She had trouble digesting the fact she’d had sex on
her desk with a younger man. It was the wildest thing she’d ever done in her
office. She had a feeling it was because of his age that she’d acted on
instinct and
lived in the moment
as he had said. Part of her was
thrilled at the sexual victory, while the sensible side of her nature
reprimanded her for being so irresponsible. A woman her age should’ve known
better and acted more like a lady than a tramp. The thought took root and
tormented her for most of the afternoon, preventing her from working.

Right now, the age difference didn’t seem to bother him, but
it was just the start of their relationship. She felt certain
eventually
it would cause an issue. Lisanne’s pep talk had eased some of her anxiety. Her
words whispered through Temair’s head and made her smile.
Enjoy this for as
long as there’s gas in his machine and you’re the one he’s taking for the ride.

She still couldn’t believe she wasn’t fully dressed. But
when he sent her a text message earlier with a special request, she couldn’t
deny him. The low tap on her door fueled her excitement. Opening it, she smiled
at the sight on the other side. Her sexy younger man stood holding a bouquet of
flowers. He wore a dark suit with a deep-navy-blue shirt and a black-and-blue
tie befitting his style.

“Not too corny, I hope?” He handed them to her. A sensual
promise showed in his eyes and his smile broadened, giving her a perfect view
of his dimples. Debonair
and
cute, quite a combination.

“No, not at all. Please, come in.” She turned, smiling into
the beautiful array of colorful wildflowers. This thoughtful gesture warmed her
heart in a way she doubted he’d ever understand. No one had ever given her
flowers. He followed her, closing the door behind him. She walked into the
small kitchenette. There was no door or wall separating it from the tiny living
room. A rectangular counter with a cutting board top acted as the divider for
the rooms.

“I see you did as I requested.”

“Yes.” Temair’s insides knotted when he noted she wore no
hose or shoes as of yet. The heat of his nearness coated her like a favorite
blanket, warming her.

“I like the dress.” He caressed her bare back exposed by the
evergreen silk halter dress she wore. “Very sensual.”

His breath close to her ear tickled and made her nipples
harden.

“Thank you,” she managed to reply, softly.

He stood directly behind her as she placed the flowers in a
vase and filled it with water. In a light, velvety touch, his fingertips slid
up and down her spine, from between her shoulder blades to the small of her
back, causing her difficulty in focusing on the task at hand. Her vision
narrowed to the path of his caress. Up. Down. Tiny circles just above her
bottom then slowly, torturously, along her spine to repeat the motion between
her shoulders, then to the base of her neck. Every ounce of her tuned in to him
as if he were the bright light at the end of a dark tunnel and her only means
of escape.

Seconds seemed like minutes before she managed to place the
vase on the counter without dropping it. He shortened the gap separating them
and maneuvered his hands into her dress from behind. Cupping her breasts, he
tugged her back against his chest. Any chance of thinking clearly evaporated.

“Mmm, I really like this dress,” he claimed, then suckled
her earlobe.

The way he strummed her nipples with his thumbs gave her
chills and initiated a raw need deep in her core. “You keep that up and we’ll
never leave the apartment.” The hoarseness of her voice mocked her desire.

“That does sound enticing,” he purred against her neck. He
released her breasts and slid his hands out of her dress to rest them upon her
waist. “But I’ve got plans for you.”

“What sort of plans?” she asked, meeting his gaze as she
looked across her shoulder. Desire slammed into her. Sexual hunger darkened his
expression, making her ache with the need to fuck him right there on the
counter.

“I’ve given this evening lots of thought and preparation.”
He took her hand and lightly kissed her knuckles while his finger glided along
the lifeline in her palm. “Now, let’s finish getting you dressed.”

Knowing he’d taken the time to prepare for their evening
gave her joy. What did he have in store? Anticipation swirled and made her
giddy. Her stomach fluttered and she couldn’t help but hope his plan entailed
sex.
Lots and lots of sex.
Temair led him to her bedroom, where she’d
left the black lace garter and silk stockings still in the box. Without a word,
he retrieved the garter and undid the hidden clasps within its silken lace.

“Lift your skirt, Temair.” His accent thickened with his
command, giving her chills that heightened her nipples into solid peaks.

She did as he asked, carefully lifting it to her waist,
exposing her leather thong. A wicked smile of approval brightened his face and
she was glad she’d chosen correctly. He wrapped the garter around her waist and
gently did the clasps.

“Perfect fit,” he stated, smoothing the lace and stretching
the stays to hang along her thighs.

His fingers lingered beneath the garter and traced the
thong’s waistband. When he tugged lightly on the thin strap of leather that
separated her cheeks, she moaned. “Ever had a cock here?” he whispered close to
her ear as he stood behind her. The glide of his fingertip along the strap,
lower and lower, but not reaching her anus, then back up to the waistband, made
her pussy clench.

She stilled. This was something she’d never tried. Anal. Was
it a deal breaker if she said no? Temair hesitated, but didn’t get the chance
to answer.

Evan released the leather strip and turned her to face him.
“It’s not important.” When she dropped her gaze to the floor, he lifted her
chin, making her look at him. “Believe me. There are so many other ways to
enjoy sex. When you’re ready, fucking your beautiful ass will be both our
pleasure. I promise.”

Temair smiled nervously. “I’ve never tried it.”

“Then maybe we’ll experience a lot of
firsts
during
this visit.”

The promise in his eyes and his tone thrilled her. Damn. He
had her willing to try anything as long as he looked at her like that—hot,
hungry and ready to please. He took her hand and led her to the bed. Once she
was seated, he gathered a stocking in his hand and rolled it with a precise
measure of skill.

She arched an eyebrow. “It appears as if you’ve done this
before.”

He knelt on one knee, lifted her foot and placed it on his
bent knee. “My lady, sexy legs are my passion. And yours are the epitome of
beauty and elegance, which turns me on simply by looking at them.” His fingers
trembled as he cupped her heel. “Let me dress yours in a fashion in which they
so deserve.”

Slow and sensuously, he started at her toes and worked the
silk stockings to mid-thigh. After carefully adjusting the stays, he clasped
them in place, then administered the same tender care to her opposite leg. Her
legs felt exquisite encased in pure, expensive silk. Evan slipped her black
leather, open-toed stilettos onto her feet and fastened the straps around each
ankle. Gentle strokes up and down her calves made her pussy tighten. When he
leaned and nuzzled the leather patch between her thighs, moisture formed in her
folds.

“Mmm, I do love the scent of woman and leather,” he sighed,
then kissed her thong. In one swift move, he stood. Clearing his throat, he
said, “If we keep this up, we’ll never make it to dinner.”

Temair laughed as she accepted his hand. The solid rod in
his pants pointed in her direction. She palmed his cock. “We could always stay
in and play.”

Evan’s kiss rocked her to her toes. When they separated, he
held her steady. “I’ve got plans for you. Trust me. It’ll be worth the wait for
both of us.”

When they reached the street, she thought he’d hail a cab,
but he didn’t. He tucked her arm in his and set a casual pace. He leaned in
close. “I hope you don’t mind, but it’s such a nice evening, I thought we’d
walk.”

“No, I don’t mind,” she replied, secretly hoping it wouldn’t
be far that she’d have to travel in stilettos. They may be sexy to look at, but
everyday jaunts at great distances weren’t comfortable, at least not for her.
After about two blocks, he broke the silence that had fallen between them.

“In London, I walk everywhere. Ever been to London?”

“I’ve never traveled outside the United States,” Temair
admitted.

“It’s similar to New York, with crowds of people on the
streets, mass transit and noise.” He smiled at her as they turned the corner
onto Spring Street. “But if you know where to look, you can always find a quiet
slice of heaven.”

He led her to the entrance of Trump Soho and the doorman
greeted them. Evan escorted her to the elevator. She’d passed the luxury hotel
many times in her travels but never entered. It was beautifully decorated.
Within a matter of minutes they stood in front of the maître d’ at Quattro
where they were seated at a private corner table with a magnificent view of the
city.

“I’ve never eaten here.” He leaned toward her. “I hope it
lives up to the hype.”

“Me too.” She nodded, trying to hide her nervousness. She
noticed a few women stared at her as they were escorted to their table. Was the
age difference that obvious? He laid his hand over hers on the table in a
natural move of reassurance.

“Temair, I planned everything, including the meal.” He
lifted her hand to his lips and released a breath of warm air across her
knuckles right before he kissed them. “Relax and simply enjoy. Can you do that
for me?”

She nodded, hoping she could. At the moment she felt as if
everyone’s eyes were on them. She plastered a smile to her face and did a
casual glance around the room. No one seemed to even care they were there. No
one blatantly stared like she thought. God, she was being silly. Temair relaxed
into her chair and decided to take Lisanne’s advice.
Go with the flow and
see where the ride takes you.

The waiter appeared with a bottle of wine and poured. When
he left, Evan took his glass and handed the other to her. “I came here before I
picked you up. I chose everything from the wine to the dessert. I didn’t want
you to have to worry over a thing. Just sit back, relax and let me please you.”
His voice dropped to a whisper as he leaned in close across the intimate
setting for two. “The meal is just the beginning. I promise you a night of pure
enjoyment. That is, if you will allow it?”

He lingered near. The question hovered in his eyes, awaiting
her answer. No one had ever taken her pleasure from food to sex into
consideration and it made her tingle inside. She leaned toward him, rubbing her
shoe up and down his calf. She saw desire flame to life in his eyes from her
touch and it empowered her. “Evan, I am yours to mold. Show me what it means to
be pleasured,
entirely
.”

The smile that spread his lips brought out those adorably
sexy dimples that made her smile in return. Excitement brewed in her gut. This
night had gotten off to a wonderful start the moment he’d dressed her legs.
There was no way she’d let anything stop her from experiencing
whatever
he had planned.

He tipped his glass in her direction. “Your wish is my
desire, my lady.”

As they sipped the wine in unison, neither looked away from
the other. The most exquisite wine she’d ever tasted crossed her palate. “Mmm,
delightful.”

“I’m glad you like it.” He nodded and the appetizer was
delivered to the table.

Temair sat back, relaxed and sampled every selection he’d
made. Nothing disappointed. From the appetizer to the dessert, he’d chosen
divine flavors that enticed her libido and satisfied her hunger, without
stuffing her to the point of discomfort from overeating. Throughout the meal,
she liked the way he treated her, as if she were the only one in the room. She
noted he kept their conversation primarily on her work, coaxing her to discuss
her thoughts and ideas for new and exciting jewelry she planned to create.

Her heart swelled when he reached across the table and held
her hand, keeping his eyes leveled on hers and listening as she spoke.
Occasionally, she playfully ran the toe of her stiletto along his lower leg and
loved the way his eyes narrowed and he desperately tried to control his
features. But failed. She knew from the look on his face that simple touch
turned him on. Knowing she wielded a form of sexual prowess over Evan brought
out her inner vixen.

Stretching as far as she could without being obvious, she
slowly glided her foot up the inside of his leg to above his knee then back
down again. His eyes closed for a second and his Adam’s apple bobbed as he
swallowed hard. Damn, she liked this game. She was in control and at the
moment, there wasn’t a thing he could do about it.

He downed the last drop of wine in his glass. Pure
animalistic hunger shone in his gaze and her insides knotted in anticipation of
his next move. “Let’s take this to the next level, shall we?”

“Of course,” Temair replied in a challenging tone. She
wasn’t sure if it was the wine, or simply the gorgeous man who brought out her
playful nature.

With a nod, the waiter appeared with the check. Evan signed
the receipt then stood. He took her hand and helped her to her feet, tugging
her close enough to feel his heat, without actually touching. He led her to the
elevators, but instead of the lobby, he pressed the button for the penthouse
level.

The air stilled in her lungs when they reached the highest
floor and stepped out. Evan led her to a door at the end of the hall and opened
it with his keycard. He turned the handle and pushed. Across the room, the
night sky danced outside the floor-to-ceiling windows in the largest suite
she’d ever seen.
