Before I could ask
the question, his cell phone began to vibrate. He glanced down at his Iphone 5
and ignored the call.

“Answer
your phone, Boo. When you ignore calls in my presence, it makes me wonder what
you're doing outside of it,” I said, eyeing his cheating behind down.

He looked at me
with a smug expression. I was hotter than cayenne pepper because I suspected
that it was a female calling.

"Whatever, Mo."
Blunt brushed me off. He put the phone to his ear. “What’s the business?” he
asked the party on the other end.

It must have been
God's will for Blunt's infidelities to come to light, because his phone had
accidentally been placed on speaker.

“All you do is
chase up behind that stuck up ass bitch! You don’t give a damn ‘bout me and yo’
daughter. Well, I need you to take your nose out of Mo's ass and bring them
goddamn pampers back. This girl done shitted, and I ain’t got but one diaper
left, nigga!” screamed the female on the other end.

Blunt mumbled and
bumbled, trying to take the phone off speaker. It slipped from his hand and
fell to the floor. The chick's voice continued to come out loud and clear as he
swooped the phone up.

"You think
I'ma keep letting you play me like this?" she screamed.

Blunt glanced up at
me.  He quickly told the caller to hold on and took the phone off speaker, but
he couldn’t undo what I had heard. My first mind told me to snatch the phone
out of his hand and smack him in his mouth with it. Instead, I looked off,
gritted my teeth, and clenched my fist. I knew exactly who was going off on him
and calling me out of my name. It had to be Luscious unless he had
another
secret
BM running around somewhere.

He lowered his
voice and mumbled something into the phone before hanging up. When he looked up
at me, both of our faces were etched with a scowl. "Is there something you
need to tell me?" I offered him the opportunity to come clean.

"Nah, but I
gotta bounce and go handle something. C'mon, Devin, we're out."

Before I could
formulate a response, he was out the door with his disrespectful seed. The
ungrateful bastard hadn't even thanked me for keeping his son. That was okay
though because I planned to get the last laugh.

Play Ya Position Or Bounce
Blunt

I left the school
with my li’l man in tow. I was heated because Luscious kept pressing a nigga.
She didn’t understand that she was sideline pussy and the position didn't come
with career advancement.

I had been handling
her wit’ kid gloves due to the fact that she was my partner in crime, but I
would put this size twelve in that ass if she didn't fall the fuck back.
Frustrated over the whole situation, I whipped over to Mika’s crib out in
Clayton County.

Mika was another
one of my sidepieces. Unlike Luscious, she knew how to play her position. She
had given birth to a baby boy that I couldn't deny; li'l dude looked like I had
spit him out of my mouth. Still, Mika hadn’t let it change what she expected
out of the relationship.

“We can kick it,
Baby Girl, but I  got a woman who I’m crazy ‘bout. I’m not leavin’ her for
nothing or no one so understand that. If you can accept that and not try to
make this into something that it will never be, we can fuck wit’ each other and
things will be real nice for you,” I explained from the giddy up.

“Oh, I have no
problem with it. As long as you understand that I’m free to see other people
also,” replied Mika.

“I’m trill wit’
dat,” I had agreed, knowin’ that once I got all up in her feelings another dude
wouldn’t even be an issue.

I pulled up in her
driveway and me and Devin hopped out of my whip and went up to the door.

“Hey, Boo,” Mika
greeted me with a pretty smile the minute she swung the door open. I gave her a
quick hug and a kiss and palmed that booty.

"Don't start
nothing," she teased.

"I'm not. You
see who's with me."

“Yep. Hey, Devin.
Why are you all handsome like your daddy today?” He blushed like a li’l lame.

I playfully slapped
him upside the head. “Tell her you ain’t handsome, you’re fly, and it’s a
habit.”

Devin tried to
repeat my instructions, but it came out all wrong. I was gon’ have to teach him
how to mack a hoe, or he was gon’ grow up trickin’.

“Where’s my brother
at?” he asked Mika as he shook the big bag of candy that he was clutching in
his hand.

“He's in the
bedroom in his playpen. You can go back there and see him.”

"Yay!" he
screamed with excitement then dashed off.

Mika and I sat on
her sofa. She folded her legs up under her. I rested my elbows on my knees and
I steepled my fingers under my chin.

"So, what's
up, Baby Daddy? You look stressed?" she observed.

"Baby Girl, I
need you to watch Devin while I go put Luscious in check.

I ran my hand down my face.

“Again?”
she
asked placing her hand on my knee.

“Yeah, the bitch is
hardheaded.

Mika shook her
head. “Blunt, I’m not trying to tell you how to handle your business, but isn’t
it obvious that Luscious is going to be an ongoing problem? Baby, don’t let a
bitch bring you down, even if it’s me,” she cautioned. Then she planted a kiss
on my cheek.

"You're
right," I had to agree.

"Well, I know
you'll handle your business," she trusted. "Let's go in the kitchen,
baby. I was just about to start cooking."

She stood up and
went into the kitchen. I followed her while staring at that phat ass
appreciatively as she made her way over to the kitchen table and took a seat.

She had a bowl full
of potatoes and used a knife to start peeling them. “I’m about to cook some
homemade fries and hamburgers. Would you like to have lunch with me before you
go?”

“Nah, I’m good. I’m
‘bout to go handle mines.” I had put it off long enough.

"Don't end up
in jail over that girl,” cautioned Mika as she walked me to the door.

Out in my ride, I
rode in silence.  I drove with a single purpose.
This bitch got me fucked
up! She must don't know my getdown.

When I made it to
Luscious’ spot, I banged on the door impatiently. She snatched the door open
and rolled her eyes. As soon as she turned her back to me and began walking
away, I snatched her by the hair.
Bop! Bop! Bop!
I gave her three blows
to that hard ass head.

"Ahhh!"
she yelped, and tried to fight back.

I snatched that ass
up and tossed her into a coupla walls.

“Stop, Blunt!” she
screamed and hit me wit’ a left hook that caught my lip.

I threw her down on
the sofa and pimp smacked spit out of her mouth. "Keep trying me, bitch,
and I'ma kill you."

"Get the fuck
off me, Blunt," she cried.

“You know what? You
. . . talk . . . too . . . muthafuckin’ . . .  slick.” I slapped her with each
word.

Luscious had buck
in her; she clawed up at my face. I wrapped my hands around her throat and
choked her. "You're gonna learn to stay in your place," I threatened.

"Okay,"
she groaned. Then as soon as I let her up she came flying at me like an alley
cat. We were getting it in good, knocking over furniture and breaking shit. We
fought for fifteen minutes or more.

Boom! Boom! Boom!
Someone pounded on the door. “Who the fuck is it?” I barked.

“Police! Open up!”

"Oh shit! Go
open the door," I whispered to Luscious. "Straighten your
clothes!"

She hurriedly fixed
her clothes, but she still looked tore up. Her lip was busted and her hair
soared all over her head.

I knew that I was
going to jail the minute she opened the door and the popo's stared at her
swollen lip and bruised face. "Sir, turn around and put your hands behind
your back," I was told.

“But he ain’t do
nothing to me. Why y’all arresting him?” Luscious cried, trying to come to my
defense.

Unfortunately, they
weren’t having none of it.

As I was being
placed in the back of the patrol car, I shot Luscious a look that was as lethal
as a loaded Glock. “I’m done fuckin’ wit’ yo’ stupid ass!” I mouthed, while
wondering why I ever got involved wit’ a trick like her when I already had a
jewel.

I had to be the
stupidest nigga in the whole fuckin' world. What would Mo' say if I had to call
her to post my bond behind this shit? Hell no, that would expose my lies. I
would have to call Mika and try to keep Mo’ from ever finding out about all of
it. I had a feeling that I was runnin’ out of chances wit’ her.

Revenge
Molaysia

It was ten o’clock
at night according to the digital clock on my cell phone. I was sitting on the
edge of the bed in my white fitted tee and a pair of peach colored shorts. I
had been blowing Blunt’s phone up for more than an hour and still couldn’t get
an answer. If he brought his ass home at the crack of dawn tonight, all of his
stuff would be packed when he got here.

I finally gave up
on reaching him after the sixth attempt. "You know what? Fuck him!” I said
to the ceiling fan.

I stretched out
sideways across my king sized bed and reminisced on a time when Blunt made me
so happy. Now that time seemed to be nothing but a distant memory.

I covered my head
with a pillow and let the tears flow. All I wanted was for him to be real with
me. If he didn't love me anymore, why couldn't he just tell me?

I hated that his
philandering had begun to make me feel insecure about my ability to please him.
I had done everything that I could to keep him happy, so why did he need all of
these rats on the side? I wondered as I began to sob heavily.

Minutes later, my
house phone rang. I rolled over and picked it up on the second ring. “Yeah,” I
answered dryly.

“Girl, what’s up?”
It was my cousin,  Leesha. “You sounding all pitiful and shit.”

I took a deep
breath and let it out slowly. I did not want to cry on her shoulder. “I’m just
a little upset,” I revealed while wiping a tear from my eye and sniffling.

"What did
Blunt do now?" She sighed.

“It's nothing. I’ll
be alright. We will work it out like we always do,” I said making light of the
situation before changing the subject. “How you been, Leesha?”

“I’m good. I'm on
the highway headed your way. I'll be in Atlanta in well an hour or so. I kno’
it’s short notice, but wanted us to do something together since your birthday
is this weekend. Oh, and guess what, Cuz?"

I rolled my eyes up
at the ceiling. I really wasn’t in the mood for company, but I hoped it
wouldn’t be too bad. Leesha was usually a lot of fun to be around, and we had
some catching up to do. Maybe that was what I needed to make me forget about my
issues with my man.

“What?” I asked
trying to sound excited.

“I got us both
tickets to Keith Sweat’s concert tomorrow.”

A smile crept
across my face. I loved me some Mr. Sweat. "Omg!" I screamed, hopped
up, and jumped up and down like I had won the Mega Millions Jackpot.

"So, are you
going? Or are you gonna be cooped up under your
Mr. Wrong?"

“I would love to
go. In fact, I need to get out of the house and enjoy myself for a change.”

"Amen,"
she exclaimed.

"Oh, hush,
Cuz." I managed to laugh and laid back down.

“So, when are you
going to tell me what you and Blunt are going through?” She returned to what I
was trying not to talk about. “You are really going to have to get a backbone
and stop lettin’ that nigga run all over you,” she advised.

When it came to
men, Leesha was not with the games. Where I was weak and forgiving, she was no
nonsense. Sometimes her straight forwardness irritated me, but I knew that she
loved me and had my back.

I sat up and leaned
back against the headboard. Might as well let it out. I decided to do so
because I needed someone to talk to. Leesha would listen then give it back to
me real.

“I kept Blunt’s
son, Devin, today, and do you know what he let spill out of his mouth?" I
blurted.

"What, girl?
Wait a minute, let me brace myself." After an exaggerated pause she said,
"Okay, I'm ready."

I gave her the full
version of Blunt's shenanigans, leaving out nothing that I had learned today.

"Oomph, oomph
oomph! He’s just as nasty as a garbage dump. Ole’ dick slanging bastard. Girl,
I’m gon’ need you to do better.”

"I know,
right?"

“Chile, let a nigga
I’m dealing wit’ try some shit like that. See, you gon’ have to stand up and
stop lettin’ mothafuckas handle you any kind of way. If I had a man, and he did
that…” I heard her smack her lips. “He’d be a thing of the past, and Chunuchi
would be somewhere nursing her eye with an ice pack.”
