I laughed at the
image of such a thing. That would be just like Leesha.

"I'm not
playing," she said.

“I know, but…”

She cut me off in
the middle of my sentence. “Girl, me and boo thang would have been throwing
some hands. Shit, that bitch would have gotten fucked up if it was me.”

"I'm not going
to stoop to that level," I replied. "I'm much better than that."

"Maybe so, but
you have to get ignorant right along with those bitches, or they'll think they
can run over you. Chunuchi needs to teach her child some manners before she
dump him off on somebody. I tell you what, it couldn't be me."

We discussed the
topic for another fifteen minutes. Leesha was so appalled by what I was going
through. I hardly got a word in the rest of the conversation. "I guess
you'll leave Blunt alone when you get sick and tired of being sick and tired,”
she concluded.

"I'll do it
long before that," I replied sincerely. Regardless of what I had put up
with, there was a point that I refused to go beyond, and Blunt was right on
that line.

"Well let me
get off of this phone. There's a police right behind me, and I don't have my
Bluetooth with me. I do not have money to throw away on no damn ticket, Honey
Child."

"Okay, bye.
I'll see you in a little bit."

"Bye."

I got out of bed
and tidied up the house. Then, I went in the kitchen and prepared some chicken
tacos for us to snack on when Leesha arrived. As I moved around the kitchen, I
replayed everything in my mind that Leesha had said. Her points were well
taken.

An hour and a half
later, Leesha was pulling up in my yard in her 2012 black Nissan Maxima. The
outside motion sensored light in my driveway automatically came on. From the doorway,
when she got out I could see that she was looking like a certified diva. She
was wearing a white baby tee with DIVA written across the front in bold letters
and a pair of hip hugging Capri’s and white slide ins. Her blonde highlights
worn in a long wrap complimented her smooth honey skin tone. She stood 5’7,
thick in the hip department with small breast and a tiny waistline. To have
pushed out a set of twins, her body was still tight. I sprinted out of the door
and bear hugged her.

I looked up and
noticed that her twins, Akeela and Aquisha, had gotten out of the car too. They
were wearing matching Coogi mini dresses and black lace-up sandals. Her twelve-
year old daughters were the spitting image of her. My heart dropped because
although I was glad to see them, they were bad as heck. Akeela, who was born
five minutes before her twin sister, was the taller of the two, but not by
much. To the eye of a stranger, it was hard to tell them apart.

They rushed up to
me and gave me a group hug. “Hey, Auntie Mo’,” they chimed.

Actually, I was
their second cousin, but they  referred to me as their auntie.

Leesha stepped back
and looked me over. "Girl, you're looking good. No homo," she
complimented.

"You're
crazy." I laughed.

She turned to the
twins and fussed. “Y’all bring the luggage in 'cause I ain’t doing it. Hell, I’m
tired.”

Akeela sighed and
rolled her eyes. “Mama, you could help, too,” she whined.

Leesha stopped in
her tracks and whirled around. “I’m going to remind yo’ smart mouth what my
motto is:
Money Over Matters,
” she said. “Until you get a job to support
yourself and earn some
money
, what you say or think doesn’t
matter.”

"That was so
lame," replied Akeela.

Aquisha laughed and
nodded her head in agreement.

“Now, don’t y’all
get out of town and try to show out. I told y’all what will happen… three chops
to the throat.” She busted a kung fu move.

Leesha was too
funny, but I loved the relationship that she had with the twins. She laughed
and joked with them, but they knew that she didn't play.

As soon as she
turned her back, Akeela rolled her eyes and her sister stuck her tongue out. I
just shook my head. "What did they do?" asked Leesha. She knew her
children well.

"Nothing."
I suppressed a smirk.

"Umm. What's
that I smell?" she asked, following the aroma into the kitchen.

"I made
tacos."

"Yessss! Girl,
your tacos are the shit."

I smiled at the
compliment and followed her into the kitchen.

Cuz and I wasted no
time at the table. We ate two tacos apiece, refried beans, and Spanish rice. We
sat at the table waiting for the twins to finish eating so that we could
continue the talk that we had begun on the phone. Akeela was playing over her
food. Her mother glanced over at her.

“Li’l girl, you
ain’t leaving this table until you eat that taco. Hell, the li’l kids on those
Feed The Children commercials wish they could trade places with you.”

"Oh, Mama,
stop it!" she said while shaking her head.

"Waste not,
want not," added Leesha.

"Okay, I'll
finish up. Ugh!" Akeela began eating faster. Her sister finished shortly
before she did, and they were excused from the table. They headed off upstairs
to hook up the Playstation 3 that they had brought with them.

It was Leesha’s
bright idea for us to have some drinks. She went to the guest room where she’d
be sleeping and brought back a bottle of Ciroc. We sat there for about an hour
sipping and talking. That’s when my cousin looked at me and started spazzing
about what she would do to Blunt if she were me.

"I would go
over to the bitch's house. You can bet that's where he's at if he's not
answering his phone. And if I found him there, somebody's ass would be at the
ER tonight, and it sho' wouldn't be mine! That's what I would do," she
spewed.

"I don't want
to go to that extreme. I have to think about my job. More importantly, that's
not how I behave." I got up from the table to wash the dishes. Leesha
joined me at the sink.

"I understand,
Mo', but Blunt is the type of man that don't believe shit stinks. So you have
to mash his nose in it."

By the time we had
washed and dried the dishes, and the alcohol had worked itself into my system,
I had a whole new game plan.

I tossed on a pair
of jeans and a t-shirt, and we jetted towards the door.

"Where are
y'all going?" Aquisha called down from the top of the stairs.

"We have to go
somewhere right quick, but we won't be long," I called up to her.

“Y’all bet' not
open this door up for nobody. I don’t care if the Pope knocks. You better tell
him to sit down on the front step and pray until y’all mama gets back,” intoned
Cuz.

“Yes, ma’am,”
Aquisha obediently replied.

On the way out, I locked
the door and we trotted to my car and headed to Luscious' house.

The entire drive
there Leesha was talking about what she wouldn’t put up with. It was easy for
her to say that because it wasn't her heart invested in it. "I think every
woman has been a fool for one man or another in her lifetime. It's a part of
life. Love has a way of forcing us to accept things that we never imagined we
would," I contested lightly.

"Ha! If I ever
love like that, please do me a favor and shoot me in the head."

"I'm going to
shoot you anyway if you don't be quiet." We both laughed.

"For real,
though, Molaysia. You better quit letting him walk all over you. Not only is
his creeping disrespectful, it's dangerous. I hope you're making that nigga
wrap up."

What she said was
the truth. Just thinking about the gamble that I was taking with my life as
long as Blunt continued to creep with other women, boiled my water! I also
became upset with Luscious even though I didn't know her. I detested women that
willingly played the cut buddy role.

I only wanted to
confront Luscious and let her know that I was aware of her creeping with my man
---- that’s it. However, with Leesha in the car, there was no telling what
would jump off. I had to prepare myself for whatever.

Drama Time
Molaysia

I was wheeling my
whip in search of my man with his lowdown trifling ass. I crept at a snail’s
pace when I made it to the street that Luscious lived on. Just as I suspected,
Blunt was there. His 2012 coal-black Lincoln Continental on twenty-six inch wheels
was parked in her driveway, sitting pretty.

The block was
quiet. Two young boys walked up the street with their hands shoved in their
pockets. I pulled up to the curb and parked. My hands felt sweaty, and my heart
pounded. Images of my man laying up with his other woman flashed through my
mind. I did not want to face what I might see if I went through with this. It
was one thing to suspect Blunt of creeping, but it was quite another to walk up
on him doing it. I knew that I would be crushed.

“What are you
waiting on? Is this where his bitch lives?” asked Leesha, sounding angrier than
me.  She got out of the car and stood there with her hands on her hips while
beckoning me.

That's all that it
took. She was right, I needed to show some backbone. I got out of the car with
my game face on. I turned to face her. “I’m about to go and confront these
assholes,” I said.

Leesha waved me
off. “Fuck that. I got somethin’ for his ass.” She smiled wickedly as she
removed her car keys from inside her purse. I instantly understood.

I jingled my own
car keys and giggled. “You are a fool, Cuz,” I said.

My eyes had started
to feel a tad bit tired, and I felt giggly and happier. The liquor had me
buzzing. I was aware that my judgment was becoming impaired because it was totally
out of character for me to even think about vandalizing someone's property.
Besides, Blunt's car was his pride and joy.

I was surprised
that I wasn’t the least bit nervous nor were my hands trembling. I had always
conducted myself like a lady, but it seemed to be getting me nothing but a
broken heart and dogged on.

Leesha correctly
read my apprehension. "Let me show you how to act a damn fool," she
piped.

She ran up to
Blunt's car and carved
Bitch Ass Nigga
on the hood. My mouth fell open
and my eyes nearly popped out of my head. Blunt was going to lose his mind when
he saw that. Good, because I was losing mine. I was always told that what’s
good for the goose is good for the gander.

"Take your key
and go to work!" Leesha egged me on.

I went to the passenger
door ---- the one Luscious more than likely used ---- and scratched the word
whore,
pressing down with all my might.

While I did that,
Leesha finished decorating the hood then sprinted around to the rear of the car
and added a little handiwork to the trunk. When our mission was complete, we
both ran back to my car.

I thought to
myself,
No, I’m not about to let Luscious whorish ass get away that easy.
I sprinted over to her Charger and wrote,
I suck dick for free
on her
driver’s side door. I raced back to my vehicle, started the engine, mashed down
on the gas as hard as I could, and left there quickly.

On the way back to
my place, Leesha turned up the radio. 2 Chainz tune, ‘Different’ pumped out of
the speakers. She started bouncing around, waving her hands in the air.

“O.M.G, bitch,
that’s my shit!” She began singing along, “I’m different, yeah I’m different…”
She tooted her lips up and was getting it in.

While she was
acting a fool, my mind went back to what we had just done. It was childish and
sooo ghetto, but I had no regrets. I just wished that I could see the look on
Blunt's face when he saw what type of things a woman will do when she's fed up.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and my heart felt as if it had been
broken into a billion pieces.

Blunt was lucky it
was his car that I scratched up instead of his freaking face.

Heated
Blunt

I was sittin’ in a
stank ass jail cell where I would have to remain for twenty-four hours before I
would be allowed to bond out.

“That’s the
policy,” Mika told me during my collect call to her. “They do that to give a
man who’s been arrested for domestic violence time to cool off so he won’t get
out and go back over there and kill someone,” she explained.

“Them mothafuckas
must can read my mind!” I seethed and my chest expanded and deflated wit’ every
angry breath I took.

“Just calm down.
I’ll come bond you out as soon as I’m permitted, okay?” Her tone was soothing,
but my anger was too hot to be calmed.

As if he knew that
I was lookin’ for somebody’s ass to kick off in until I wrapped my my fingers
around that bitch Luscious' throat, some muscled bound fool came up and said,
“Phone check.”

I ignored the clown
wit’ the big chest and li’l biddy ass stick legs and kept talkin’ to Mika. “I
swear, Shawdy, when I bond out I’m goin’ straight over to that hoe’s house and
snatch that weave outta her hair for this fuck shit.”
