She almost took a step backwards
.
“I’m not removing the chains, Gavin.”

He shook his head. “With my teeth.”

“Your teeth?” Thankfully her flat tone didn’t give away the stampede happening inside her chest—because sweet gods of lust, the mere notion had her thighs squeezing together.

“Get on top. Straddle my face.” He said the words with the same ease of command as if he’d wanted her to fetch a toothbrush, or hand him the detonator to a bomb.

No big deal.

Straddle. Your. Face
. Yeah, no big deal
.
A cluck of laughter inside her chest forced her to clear her throat.

Sabelle climbed over his legs and made a slow and easy prowl up his body, his chest rising and falling faster the closer she inched, before she rose up onto her knees upon reaching his stomach.

He lurched forward toward her breasts, mouth open, but Sabelle clutched his jaw and gently pushed him back.

“Ah, ah. I don’t think so.”

He growled, until she fell backward, supporting herself on her arms, and lifted her hips so that her thighs straddled his face. “Tell me what you want.” His voice carried a devilish smile, laced with the boorish rasp of a beast.

What I want?
Since when had the situation turned into
her
carnival of humiliation? “Tear them off of me.”

Gavin licked his lips and, using his chin, he pushed aside her panties

The scruff of his facial hair curled her toes.
Oh, fuck!
As the first wet probe tickled her stomach, Sabelle dropped her hips away from his mouth. “I said … rip them off.” Damn the quiver in her voice, as well as the painful desire to thrust into his face and knee-clamp his ears.

She lifted her hips once more, and his teeth caught in the delicate lace. He tore them away from her skin, exposing her sex. Sliding back over his chest, Sabelle rested her bottom just above where his erection poked against the sheets, and lounged back against his slightly raised legs, keeping hers spread wide in front of him. Succubi didn’t sprout hair the way humans did, so she didn’t have the cringing embarrassment that came with a lack of grooming—just the idea that he had a spectator’s view of her most vulnerable parts. Even so, a confusing sensation of fear and humiliation managed to keep her in a pretty steady state of arousal—hopefully not an untapped fetish.

She’d read about women who craved humiliation. Not that she had anything against it, but in
her
case, it would definitely speak to the general fuckupedness of her childhood.

His muscles flinched beneath her, as he struggled against his binds.

“Gavin,” she whispered. “Calm down.”

A dark, ominous sensation clouded her head. Though nothing she could physically see with her eyes, hairs standing on end and the goosebumps puckering her skin told her something else was in the room with them. Something powerful. She’d felt it before—specifically, the night before, when he’d gone through his Savidon. She’d thought it her own sexual side rising to the fore, but whatever shared the room with them then had a definite malicious intent behind it, as tendrils of evil gripped her throat, threatening to steal her breath.

Sabelle focused on Gavin’s face. The urge to protect him from whatever maleficent aura filled the room beat deep in her soul. Through heaving breaths, the redness in his eyes lessened, and she kept her gaze locked on his until the glow faded to warm blue, his skin dulled from red to its usual bronze. For what seemed like only seconds, she focused her thoughts on driving away the darkness surrounding him, until it finally seemed to dissipate.

Gavin licked his lips. “Touch yourself, Sabelle. Everywhere.” The smoothness of his voice rippled through her body. Whatever had possessed him just moments before had vanished. Only Gavin stared back at her, eyes brimming with lust.

“You still need me to do this?” Strange, the way the question almost sounded hopeful and yet carried the same trepidation she’d felt earlier at the request.

“No. I don’t need it. I want it. Now.”

A hesitant glide of her fingers over each breast, where she circled her nipples, and down to her navel ended at the apex of her thighs.

Licking her lips, Sabelle closed her eyes and spread herself open.

Part of her hated herself for being so shy. That wasn’t the succubi way. Males didn’t turn them shy, they turned them crazed with desire—confident, sin-seeking horndogs that’d literally screw a leg to get off. Another part of her knew exactly why she felt the way she did.

He wasn’t any male.

He was Gavin.

“That’s it.” His hips swirled below her. “Perfect.” His gentle coaxing made her
feel
perfect. Even chained, Gavin made a woman want to tease out that approving grin that’d tell her she’d earned some modicum of respect from him.

She slid her fingers across her bud, gliding up and down her clit, moaning and rolling her head to the side.

“Tell me what you think about as you touch yourself.”

She froze for an instant. “I … I don’t think about anything.”

“You’re lying.”

“Gavin, please—”

“What are you thinking about?”

Still fondling her swollen, slick folds, she licked her lips and conceded. “You.”

“What about me?”

“I’m imagining your tongue. Right here.” She flicked her finger against the sensitive nub and opened her mouth with the moan that ripped through her chest. “You feel so good, Gavin. You know exactly how to touch me.”

“Yes,” he breathed, his erection pressed into the small of her back. His responses coaxed her, gently teased out her secrets in a way that felt completely natural. Without embarrassment.

“I need you inside of me,” she whispered.

“Show me.”

She plunged a finger inside of her, sinking it knuckle deep, and gasped at the friction. “Mmmm. I need … you. Filling me.”

His groan tickled her ears and shot a bullet of fervor through her veins. “Gods, woman, don’t unchain me, or I can assure you, you’ll be fucked properly, talking like that.”

She inserted another finger and pumped in and out—a slow, easy rhythm that sucked her fingers with each withdrawal, . her own wetness making for an easy glide on every inward thrust. “More!” She cried out. “I want more!”

In the blackness of her shuttered eyes, his heavy breaths seeped into the visual of what was happening—a bird’s eye view of the scene as she imagined it.

“Give yourself more. Do what feels good.”

She slipped a third digit inside and gasped, her back arching. Her walls gripped her slender fingers, milking them with each smooth, upward drive. Bottom lip caught between her teeth, she alternated between two and three fingers, while massaging her breast with the other hand.

Her mind played out a scenario wherein Gavin’s weight pressed down on her, her head bouncing against the headboard, as he pounded away at her core. His rhythm perfect and unfaltering. His cock filling her up with each delicious thrust.

“You feel so good, Gavin. Don’t stop. Don’t stop!”

Her head rolled against his legs, as her body tightened, galloping toward completion.

Breaths turned to pants. Her stomach hardened.

She pinched her nipple and held it, letting the tension build like flames in her muscles, until her thighs trembled.

“Yes, yes, yes!” She cried out. “Fuck me!”

“Come all over your fingers for me, baby. I want it dripping off of you.” The chains rattled. “Sabelle, I want to touch you so badly. I want to taste that sweetness.”

Her body exploded, tremors blazing through her tightly wound muscles, and she raised her hips from Gavin’s chest, mouth open in its usual silent scream as his name reverberated inside her skull, her finger still milking the orgasm.

Gavin’s curses followed, and Sabelle opened her eyes to find his gaze unwavering, eyes wide as though marveling her finish. “Let me taste your release.”

Through heavy breaths, Sabelle lifted herself to him. His eyes fluttered shut as his nostrils flared, and her muscles flinched when he dipped his tongue inside of her and sucked.

“Fucking gods, you taste divine.”

She lowered her hips and caught her breath. Her orgasm had been bit stronger than those she’d given herself before, but still not the ultimate. She’d always kept herself below that threshold, by letting her body release before hitting the pinnacle of climax. Probably another reason she couldn’t find the elusive G-spot. She’d intentionally avoided it all her life.

Jeven once told her if she tripped that bomb—flowerbomb, as it was known amongst the succubi—her craving for souls would increase tenfold. Both a blessing and a curse, in the way it could keep her from getting hurt while sucking a soul but leave her starved for souls at the same time.

Her mother always seemed ravenous for souls, inviting bums from the street, sometimes, back to their trailer park for casual sex. Of course, it always ended in a need to dispose the body afterward, and Sabelle hated having to take part in that. A burn barrel in the back of their house had served as the haunting evidence of bodies she’d lit herself and watched shrivel into ash and dust. Bodies her mother had little concern for. Ones she’d let violate her.

Her mother had always told Sabelle that the men were bad. That they’d murdered little girls like her and Denya, and deserved to die a most horrible death. Still didn’t take away the horror, or make it any less traumatic. Helping her mother dispose of the men went against every molecule of Sabelle’s being—her first realization that she wasn’t cut out for succubihood.

Sabelle would never put her children through such a thing.

Forget your mother. Wipe her right out of your head.

“Thank you,” Gavin said, snapping her back to the moment. He licked the glisten from his lips. “I’ve never seen a silent climax like that. Why’d you hold back?”

She shrugged. “Just not one for making much noise, I guess.” In truth, Sabelle had always feared working herself up too much. Screaming Gavin’s name aloud might’ve thrown her straight into the stratosphere. Set off her renoshza, and then all hell would’ve broken loose. Bad enough the sound of his name still bounced inside her head, inciting an urge to lay beside him and do it all over again.

“Must take an incredible amount of willpower to remain quiet.” His tongue swept his mouth once more. “I don’t know what it is about you, Sabelle, but I’m grateful for the way you keep the rage from consuming me.”

“Gavin, I want to … let me help you.” She sat up on her elbows, taking in the sudden trepidation in his eyes. “I can give you release.”

“No, I’m okay.”

“Doesn’t it hurt?”

“It’s a pain I can deal with.”

“Don’t be a hero, Gavin. I can get you off. I can make you feel good, too.” A half hour earlier, he’d acted like he wanted to tackle her. Had she turned him off so much he’d prefer the pain?

As if he’d read her mind, he dipped his head, catching her thought-ridden gaze. “I feel fucking fantastic right now. If you touch me, I can’t say what I’ll do.”

With a nod, she slid from his legs, noticing the wet spot at his stomach. “I can bring you a new sheet.”

“No. I like your scent.”

“There’s a bit of a beastly nature in your Savidon, isn’t there?”

“You could say that.”

Bending for her clothes on the floor brought her level with the enormous bulge still tenting the sheets. “Sure you don’t need anything?”

In Sabelle’s experience, a male didn’t typically turn down sex, particularly after the kind of show she’d just put on. Even if he might’ve truly been worried about falling back into a crazed state, a bulge like that seemed like it’d be worth the risk.

He shook his head, sinking into the pillows behind him.

Whatever kept him from seizing the opportunity to get off must’ve been pretty damn serious. Her tongue raked her teeth as a feeling of indignity blanketed her conscience. She’d shamelessly gotten off in front of him, and he wanted nothing in return.

Such a thing had never happened to her before.

“Sleep well,” she whispered before exiting the room.

***

Fucking hell, Gavin’s body burned like it might explode. He’d lied. Straight-up, flat-out lied, and could add
manipulative
to his list of bastardly traits.

Seeing her naked, draped across his legs didn’t sate shit. It’d only stoked his flames for her, and if not for the curse looming over him, he’d have broken the chains and taken her, filled her the way she needed to be filled. His dick was hard enough to screw nails, and the only place he could even imagine plowing it into had just walked out of the room.

He’d have to show her how to prolong her orgasm for next time, because that little show ended way too quickly for Gavin’s taste. He’d sensed, at the peak of her orgasm, the way she’d slowed her pace, held back. The silence bothered him most, though—as though she’d felt the need to reel in her climax. Had it been his fingers, he’d have pushed her beyond that point of no return, screaming his name with the kind of reckless abandon that could’ve shattered windows.

Or awakened his beast.

Hearing that kind of finale might’ve sent him right over the edge. Probably better he didn’t incite it. Only a thread of control managed to keep him from acting on his urges, because her body, and the way she teased him, reached down to the blackest parts of his soul where debauchery lay awaiting a victim. As it was, her orgasm had nearly broken him, robbed him of his own power, but since she’d twice calmed the beast and somehow resisted the curse, Gavin had to know why—and fucking her into a coma wouldn’t further his cause. Not to mention, climaxing
with
her might just forge a connection neither of them cared to make.

A male in his Savidon had one objective in mind—claim a female.

What was it about her?

There’d been something in her gaze—a calming light that spoke to him and filled his body with warmth. He couldn’t pinpoint how, or why, he’d felt it, but it’d radiated from her like a beam of sunlight, warm and soothing.

And erotic at the same time.

No, he had to keep to his limits. The night had proven that he was capable of being in a state of arousal without flipping the beast switch, a boundary he couldn’t afford to break, lest he might do the unthinkable—give in to the beast and claim her as his own. Not only would that be a shitty thing to do, but Sabelle had already made it clear that she wasn’t interested, for fear of putting her sister at risk.
