Our friends and family applauded and Anna and I finally broke apart. We turned together, holding hands ready to face the world. At that moment it seemed anything could be possible, and as long as we were together, we would accomplish it all.
~Nine months later~
“Push Anna! Come on sweetheart! Just one more…” I said, letting her squeeze my hand.
Anna stared at me and frowned. “That is what you said the last time!” she said, but she pushed, and the third of our children where born. Anna lay back against the pillows exhausted.
I kissed her forehead and smoothed her hair. “Triplets, sweetheart. We have triplets!” I whispered as the Fae nurse maid handed us our children.
“Triplets conceived during the hunter’s moon and born under the strawberry moon, Max,” Anna said with a sweet smile as she gazed down at our babies. “Hunter’s and gatherers, like our ancestors.”
“Mmm, more beautiful than our ancestors, my love, ask Diana.”
“What shall we name them?” Anna asked.
“We promised Auberon…”
“Of course, but our second son and our daughter?”
I smiled, I knew another name for the strawberry moon… “Why not Rose and Hunter?”
Anna smiled and stroked my cheek. “Perfect. Auberon, Rose and Hunter Fergus. I think we are in for a wild life, mon amour.”
“Better hang on tight to me, I do wild pretty good,” I purred with pleasure just before I kissed her.
