“Inmate 3049858, say hello to your new cell mate.”
Gabriel looked Angel up and down then stepped into the tiny cell.

“This is fucked up. Sitting on the bottom bunk Gabe put his hands to his head and stared at the floor.
“What’d they hit you with?”
“They got me for the heat I was carrying, the weed I had on me and some other bullshit.”

“Yeah that sounds like the same shit they got me for.” Angel stared out into the hall at the other inmates. “We’ll do a little time off that shit but nothing major.”

“I’ma little confused why I didn’t get hit with the bricks we was carrying tho’.”
“Seems like they magically disappeared, right?”

“Right.” Too much had happened in the past few hours. Gabriel lay back on the hard bunk bed and tried to wrap his mind around what was going on. “So now what?”

“I’m not really sure, I guess now we wait for opportunity to knock.”

“What the fuck are you talking about dude?” Frustrated Gabe approached Angel. “I’m trying real hard to decode this cryptic shit you keep kicking to me but I’m starting to get real fucking confused.”

“You know Gabe, I was really hoping I wouldn’t have to wash my hands in another family members blood, but I see now things are about to get really messy.” Angel stepped back so his friend could get a better look at what he was pointing at.

“I can’t believe our luck.” Gabriel cracked his knuckles smiling as he followed Angel’s gaze.
Grasping the metal bars Angel smiled as he stared across the pod at LT. “Lights out!”

SA’RESE BIOGRAPHY

“I need to figure out how to stand on the clouds so I can reach the stars”... Sa’Rese

If the eyes are the windows to the soul then Sa’Rese’s eyes are more like mirrors reflecting a mixture of pain, joy, and hope. Born on June 18, 1982 in Nuremberg Germany Sa’Rese grew up an army brat. Spending most of her adolescence overseas she soon settled on the West Coast until she was forced to move to Cleveland Ohio where she was introduced to the cold, cruel winters of the Mid West.

A graduate of South High school, Sa’Rese then went to Clark Atlanta University where she studied psychology her freshman year before transferring to The Ohio State University to take up Fashion Merchandising.

“Writing has always been more of an outlet for me. I’ve always had a very vivid imagination; my pen just allows me to escape to a place only I can go to. I decided to take a chance and write a book to allow my readers to be engulfed in my stories, in my characters. I plan to be in the world of urban fiction for a long time. This isn’t some fluke, I’m not about to put out one book and go away. I’m coming for the top spot and I’m kinda nice with a pen.”
