I slam into him roughly, again and again, and his hands fly up to grab at me.

“Cash,” he whimpers.

I’m not sure he if he’s begging me to stop or to speed up, but I speed up anyway. I can tell he’s struggling to adjust, but his cock is getting hard again. I know it will only be a matter of time before he’s as hard as I am.

I glance at Sy. “Lend a hand?” I offer, knowing it will turn Sascha on even more to have us both touching him at the same time.

Sy nods, taking Sascha’s cock in his hand and stroking it gently, bringing him to full hardness as I pound Sascha’s ass without mercy. Sascha is alternating between moaning in pleasure and yelping in pain.

“Sore?” I ask, keeping up the rhythm.

“Yes, but don’t stop,” Sascha begs. “Whatever you do, don’t stop. Either of you.”

I continue, grabbing Sascha’s hips and using them to pull him down harder as I fuck him. I’m fortunate enough to be worked up already, and I can see Sascha is getting ready to come as well, the combined stimulation bringing him to the tipping point far more quickly than usual.

“Come for us,” I demand, making my thrusts deeper and slower, knowing exactly how to hit the spots that Sascha likes the most. “Show us how much you like us fucking you.”

“I love it,” Sascha agrees, throwing his head back as he comes for a second time.

I feel the tightening of his muscles around my cock and I don’t hold back. I come as he does, thrusting in and out of him just a few more times before I, too, am lost in my own ecstasy. I realize I’m gripping his hips tightly enough to bruise and I loosen my grip somewhat, feeling the lasting pulse of muscles around my cock. We stay, locked together for a few moments as we both catch our breath, and then I slowly ease out of him, pleased when I hear a slight whine escape Sascha’s lips. I come up next to him and kiss him lightly before stretching out next to him.

We lie there, sated and tired. Sy gets up to leave, like he always tends to, and Sascha gives me a hopeful look. I reach out and place my hand on Sy’s leg.

“You’re welcome to stay,” I invite him. He smiles, and I know he’s considering it. The sex is easy; it’s the intimacy that threatens him.

“Please?” Sascha asks, still playful despite his exhaustion. “There might be a round two in the morning.”

“All right,” Sy agrees, slipping under the covers to the other side of Sascha.

Somehow, Sascha manages to wrap himself around both of us, looking quite pleased with himself.

“I’m glad I brought you home,” I tell Sy. “You’re as much a part of this as either of us.”

“Worked out well for me, too,” Sy reminds me.

He puts his arm around Sascha, his hand brushing against me for a moment. I don’t feel the passion for him that I do for Sascha, but a familiarity, camaraderie perhaps. He and Sascha are the only two people I trust, the only ones who have earned it.

“We should get some sleep,” Sascha teases. “We start our new lives as state employees tomorrow.”

It’s quiet. I can hear the breathing of the two people sharing my bed, and I’m amazed by how quickly it has all happened. I never meant to become so involved in the Demoted system, never meant to own slaves, certainly never meant to fall in love with one. But as I drift off, contemplating the idea of working with my mother and making my life work with Sascha, I have a feeling we are just getting started.

Author’s Notes

When I was writing one of the earliest drafts of Succession, I remember asking some friends if “because he’s sexy” was a good enough reason to include a third main character into my story. While the answers varied from “of course” to “does he have anything to do with the plot?” the character Syrus was just too good to pass up. Fortunately, he worked himself into the plot as well as he worked himself into Cash and Sascha’s lives.

Writing threesomes was far more difficult and exciting than I originally anticipated. On one hand, there are three people who get to tease, torment, and enjoy each other… on the other hand, there is so much more to keep track of! From body parts to emotions, it’s a lot more work, but I think Sy balances out the other two quite nicely. I spent many weeks writing, rewriting, and rewriting Succession some more, but the finished product wraps up this section of their lives completely.

For the third book in a trilogy, Succession introduces quite a few new variables. Sy is probably the biggest addition, but we also meet the mysterious Argova family—where their interests really lie remains to be seen. The stories in the Demoted world are finished, but only for now. I’ve grown to love these characters more than is probably reasonable, and I’m as curious as you probably are about what happens next for them. Currently, there is at least one short story in the works, exploring Sy’s life before

. While you wait, I’d encourage you to check out the
Inherent Gifts
series for another story about a master and slave fighting for each other in a dystopian future.
