She smiled at him, one of her warm, loving smiles that lit up her face and made him feel like the most important person in her life. “I love you too Eric, so much it hurts sometimes. I can’t imagine my life without you in it and I can’t tell you how much I missed this.” She trailed her fingers down his softened
cock.

She sat up pushing him onto his back and he saw the desire in her eyes when she looked at him. She dropped her lips to his before whispering in his ear. “I want you again Eric. I have a lot of weeks to make up for. I want to straddle you and ride you until neither of us can see straight anymore. Do you think you’re up to
that?”

Oh fuck but what she was saying to him was hot, the look in her eyes was hot and although he shouldn’t be able to make love to her for a while yet after coming twice not that long ago, her words were making him harden
again.

“Oh I think I can rise to the challenge.” He took her hand in his and pressed it against his growing erection. “We do have all night after
all.”

She grinned at him, her excitement glowing in her eyes. “You are just so
easy.”

He laughed softly. “Only for you baby, only for
you.”

With that he rolled over until she was under him again and he lowered his head, closing his lips over
hers.

He spent the rest of the night proving to his wife that he really was up to the job of keeping her satisfied and made love to her three more times during the night until they both finally fell asleep in each other’s
arms.

Six
Months
Later.

Eric and Natasha were seated at the dining table eating dinner or he was at least. Natasha had finished and was in the process of spooning mouthfuls of some disgusting looking goo down the throats of the
twins.

He cringed when he looked at the brownish green colour which apparently had started off as vegetables and technically still were although the blender had turned them into something that didn’t look too mouth watering to him but appeared to be delicious to Erica and Nathaniel if their enthusiastic faces and eagerly opening mouths to each spoonful were any indic
ation.

He watched them eat for a while, grinning over the mess they were making. He had something he needed to discuss with Natasha though, something he’d been thinking he’d like to do for a while. He ate the last couple of mouthfuls of his dinner and lowered his cutlery to his
plate.

“I think we should get away for a few days baby. What do you think?” He met her startled eyes when she heard what he’d
said.

“Where do you want to go? Do you mean alone or we’re taking the twins? I’m not sure I’d want to leave them alone for a few days.” She frowned before turning to smile at their food covered
faces.

“I thought we could go to Tasmania baby. Stay in our country home a few days. Work has been crazy lately but finally my latest acquisition has all been sorted so the pressure is off for a while. My staff can take care of things for a few days at least and no I wasn’t saying we should leave the twins here, we’ll take them with us but Beverly will come too. Maggie and Tom are keen to see them and have offered to take them in their home with Beverly so we can have some time alone.” He searched her face for a clue as to what she was thinking. “Wouldn’t you like some time for just the two of us? Those two keep you so busy baby and you’re looking a little tired. I’d like to see you get some rest and relax for a few days at least. What do you t
hink?”

“Are you sure Maggie and Thomas want to help care for this cheeky pair Eric? Now they’re mobile they’re into everything. They might only be crawling but they’re still a pair of devils.” She grinned at the twins before looking back across the table at him. “Their home wouldn’t be child proof like ours is and it could end up being too much for
them.”

Eric got up from his chair and moved around to where Natasha sat with the twins. He squatted on the floor alongside of her watching as she spooned food into their mouths. He had to convince her to take this holiday. He was looking forward to a break and his wife needed one too plus it would be nice to have some time alone tog
ether.

“It will be fine baby, stop stressing. Beverly will be there too. Do you seriously think anyone is going to take any risks with these two? Besides Maggie offered and if it makes you feel any better, Tom has already been put to work to make sure areas of their home are childp
roof.”

He gazed up at her worried face, his eyes appealing to her to agree to some time away and she must have seen something in his expression and taken pity on him because she sighed. “Ok. The idea of having some time alone with you sounds wonderful but you know me. I just worry about my ba
bies.”

Eric breathed a sigh of relief when she agreed to the holiday although he could understand her reluctance to leave the twins, even if in the care of people she could trust. She was a great Mother to Erica and Nathaniel but he wanted her to have a break sometime
s too.

“I know you do sweetheart. You’re such a good Mother to them but you have to trust that others can take care of them too, at least for a few days. Don’t forget Maggie just about raised me and I didn’t turn out so bad, did I?” He felt a moment of self doubt as his old insecurities threatened to make an appearance in him again. Natasha drew his attention when her hand combed through his hair and she shook her head at him. “They’ll take good care of our babies for us.” He assured her as he rose to his feet. “I’ll go and give them a call and make the arrangements now and stop worrying baby. I can hear your brain ticking over from here.” He grinned at her and Natasha la
ughed.

Four days later they left for Tasmania. It was the first time the twins had flown anywhere but they were in the company jet so it was easier to deal with the little bit of grizzling they came up with than it would have been on a commercial f
light.

Thomas and Maggie picked them up from Launceston Airport in their 7 seater 4WD. Eric had argued with Maggie that he could have hired a limo but she had insisted on picking them up. After a few more minutes of fighting over the limo versus being picked up, he had to concede defeat and agreed to her picking them up. He should have known it was impossible to argue with the woman who had been more like a mother to him than his real m
other.

She hugged everyone when they landed as was Maggie’s way, including Beverly and she spent time getting to know the twins. They didn’t seem to mind her either giving her big toothy
grins.

Eric strapped them into the baby seats they’d brought down for them and helped Tom load the luggage into the car and they were finally ready to head for home. Tasmania was looking beautiful for mid winter, with everything lush and green and the mountains covered in a layer of
snow.

They were forced into an emergency stop at a petrol station when the car filled with a horrible odour. Eric’s nose wrinkled against the smell and everyone finally realised that Nathaniel was the cu
lprit.

Natasha changed him while everyone piled out of the car to draw some much needed fresh air into their lungs and Eric with his hand over his face looked on in horror at what had come out of his son as Natasha changed him. Nathaniel seemed quite proud of his efforts though and was giggling through the whole nappy c
hange.

Once he was changed they continued on towards their country home with the windows wound down to air out the car. “Damn Natasha, what have you been feeding that boy?” He asked his face still screwed up at the lingering
odour.

She burst out laughing at his facial expression. “You’ve seen what I feed him Eric. Did you see his face? He was so proud of him
self.”

He curled his lip as he glanced over at his son. “Well I’m glad he was anyway. Mr Stinky that’s my new name for you.” He said tickling Nathaniel’s belly which made him giggle so much they all started lau
ghing.

When they finally arrived at the house, they all climbed out of the car. He watched Natasha as she looked around her and he saw a flash of pain move across her face, so fast, he almost missed it. He got it though, she was remembering what had happened the last time they’d been here. He grimaced himself, trying hard not to let his mind dwell too long on what it had been like for him the last time he’d been here too. It had been one of the most painful times in his life when he’d watched the woman he loved drive off and he thought he’d lost her forever, then his shock which had become blinding anger when he’d found the pregnancy test strip in the bin. Still, if it hadn’t been for him finding it, he wasn’t sure if he’d have been able to get Natasha
back.

As he watched his wife look around, appearing deep in thought, he wondered if there was something else going on with her. “What’s wrong
baby?”

She reached up to touch his cheek. “It’s nothing Eric, really. I was just remembering the last time we were here. I had some of the best times here, but some of the worst too.” He could see the remembered pain in her eyes as she looked up at him and he groaned pulling her into his
arms.

“That was so long ago baby and look at us now. I thought I’d lost you. Watching you drive away from here felt like my heart had been torn out of my chest but please, lets not dwell on things. We know how that story ended. We’re married, we’re parents, this story has a happy ending
baby.”

The sound of Maggie’s voice interrupted their moment together. “Hey there lad, leave the loving of your wife until we old folk leave can you?” Eric released his wife turning to grin at the older
woman.

“Shut up Maggie. Just because you and Tom are too old don’t make fun of us young folk.” He tease
d her.

She chuckled at him. “Don’t you go disrespecting me and Tom and who are you calling old? I’ll have you know there’s plenty of life left in the pair of us yet. Now get over here and help unload your luggage then we can get going and go spend some time with your wee bonnie lass and
lad.”

They spent some time unloading their luggage from the car and Eric carried the bags inside. Everything that was packed for the twins stayed in the 4WD to go with them to Maggie and Tom’s place. They hugged and kissed their son and daughter before he strapped them back into their car seats and there was another round of hugs and kisses for Maggie and Beverly while Eric settled for shaking Tom’s
hand.

Natasha suddenly appeared nervous at leaving the twins with someone else and launched into a lengthy list of instructions for them and Eric could do nothing more than watch her and try hard not to grin at her. He put his arms around her from behind and pulled her back against him. “They’ll be fine baby. Stop worrying.” He whispered in her ear and pressed his lips against her
cheek.

She relaxed into his arms and he knew he’d finally managed to reassure her. With her list of instructions over, Maggie, Tom and Beverly climbed back into the 4WD and with huge grins on the twins faces which only proved that he was right, they were going to be fine, they drove off leaving him and Natasha
alone.

They watched the car until it had disappeared from view and Eric tightened his arms around his wife, trailing kisses up the side of her neck. He heard her breathing hitch and she trembled at his touch. “Oh yeah Rothman, you’ve still got it.” That overly cocky, macho voice in his head bo
asted.

Natasha was still staring in the direction that had taken her babies from her. “They’ll be fine baby. Maggie or Beverly will call if they have any problems and they’re only next door after all. Come on sweetheart, let’s enjoy this time alone. It’s ok to have fun without the twins. Now you’ve weaned them they aren’t so dependent on you, so it’s easier to have others take care of them. Don’t allow yourself to feel guilty for that. Look how they were? They know Beverly well and you saw how they were with Maggie. They’ll have some fun with those three playing with them. I bet they won’t miss us at all and we can go and see them tomorrow if you want to anyway, ok?” He turned her in his arms until she faced him and he could lift her chin with his finger to see her expre
ssion.

She smiled at him, although he could still see the worry in her gorgeous eyes. “I know Eric. I’m just been a clingy Mother I guess. It’s paid off to have them meet so many different people in their short lives so they are comfortable being looked after by others but I’m just a wor
rier.”

Eric grinned at her. “No baby, you’re a Mother and a damned good one. We can go and see them anytime you like, but try and have some fun with just us, ok?” He nuzzled into the side of her neck again and he heard her sigh as she relaxed agains
t him.

“So what are we going to do with ourselves for the rest of the day Mr CEO? Not that there’s exactly a lot of today left.” She glanced at her watch. Eric looked down too and saw it was 3pm. With it being winter they only had another couple of hours of daylight
left.

Already there was that chill in the air and he knew he’d have to get the fire lit first so they didn’t freeze. “I think lighting the fire should be my first priority. It’s cooling down now and it’ll be cold in a few more hours.” Reluctantly he released her so he could go and take care of that
first.

“I’ll unpack then.” Natasha said and headed inside the
house.

While she was busy inside, Eric headed to the woodshed to bring over more firewood and kindling so he could start the fire. He got it burning and since his wife was still busy upstairs, he decided to work some of the kinks out of his body and split more firewood. There was a huge pile of wood in the shed that Tom must have organised but obviously hadn’t had the time to split or
stack.
