frown. “I know you said that you were protected but nothing is a
hundred percent Penelope and I would hate to have you feeling like
we took the choice from you.”

No, I should be good. I’m on birth control and I’ve talked to
the doctors here and they are going to give me a birth control
implant before we leave so it’s all good. Don’t worry babe, we are

James tightened his arms around her. “The female doctor
right?” he asked in a low, hard tone. “Because if one of those
others touches you I won’t be responsible for the condition he is
in or if he’s still fucking breathing.”

saying it. I think that she would get into trouble if her bosses

They are not as observant as we are,” Dieter said with a

Marius pulled off his shirt. And she was also eyeing Dillon up like

Collapsing on his back he let out a breath. “Dillon and Marius both
noticed her too. She may end up being hunted and cornered pretty
quick by those two unless she gives off the signal to back right
off.”

I’m not sure how the asshats that run this place would feel
about that,” Penny admitted. “She’s a darling girl, and she would
fit those boys perfectly but can you imagine the coronary that the
brass would have if she were to bond with them as I have with the
two of you and D has with Mik and G?”

So we figure out a way to make it happen that benefits us and
them,” Dieter said on a shrug. Sliding free of her he fell to his
back and let out a breath.

You know,” James said and trailed off for a time. “With all
of us having issues with the tech I think having a doctor at the
farm might be a good plan. But only one that all of us can tolerate
of course, someone we all trust to look out for us and not the DOD
and their bottom fucking dollar.”

Penny laughed and snuggled up closer to Dieter and shook her
head, “Oh god you are too good.” She said with a smirk. “Damn I
think that you totally got it babe. I will put it through to them
and I will make sure that they know that she’s the only one that we
will accept out there. Do you think that Mik will let her out
there?”

“
He let you out there,” Dieter pointed out with a smile at
her. “I’m sure that he will let her out there. While he may not
like the idea of so many females moving into the house he’ll
adjust. And when you all piss him off he go out and shoot
things.”

She laughed and shook her head. “Mikhail and I have come to
an easy truce. He and I fight often, but we go and we shoot and
then life is all better,” she said with a grin. “And he seems to
like her. If you notice he even smiles at her, and when you add in
that he actually lets her near D, yep I think that he would let her
into the house far faster than he did me.”

“
That is true enough,” James nodded running a hand through his
hair as he sat up. “Well see if you can swing it through the DOD
chain of butt wipes that they call command and we’ll get her out
there. That is of course if she even wants to,” he frowned. “Maybe
we should sort of run it past her.”

“
I will talk to her first,” Penny told them. “Don’t worry, I
will talk to her first and then I will tell the assholes that think
they run the shit that she’s coming home with us. Don’t worry about
it boys, I will take care of everything from here.”

“
God help them all,” Dieter said shaking his head with a
grin.

Laughing James shook his head. “He’s got that one right on
the fucking money. They’ll never see you coming and then there will
be nothing but a trail of debris in your wake.”

“
It’s just one of the many things you love about me, admit
it,” Penny said confidently and then pressed a kiss to Dieter’s
chest. “Now then, I’m going to go and take a shower. If I recall
you guys have a full day of physical testing today, seeing what
your limits are and all that fun stuff.”

Groaning James fell back onto the bed. “I am so glad we’re
out of here tonight. If one more doctor tells me to put some effort
into it I’m fucking putting effort into driving my fist through
their chest cavity.”

“
I can’t say as I blame you at all my dear,” she told him with
a smile. “Just make sure that you tell them okay? When they begin
to piss you off, tell them. They need to know just how far they can
push and that they can’t push too far.”

“
Not really necessary when we have our own hellcat ready to
rip them apart,” Dieter teased with a wink. “Go and shower so we
can get in there too love. We need to get some breakfast before
they get going at us again.”

“
Good point. All right, see you boys in a few.” She told them
with a grin and got up out of the bed. She then moved to the
bathroom so that she could get her shower done and dressed so that
she could braid her hair while they got ready.

Chapter Eleven

Looking up from where he stood at the counter a week after
getting back to the farm Mikhail eyed Penelope as she came into the
kitchen. “You have anything to tell me, Penelope Morgan?” he asked
quietly. “Because if you do you should tell me now before I
completely go around the bend.”

“
Yep, I sure do.” Penny settled onto the counter and decided
to go bluntly first. “The boys aren’t the only ones who have
noticed similarities between us.” Pulling an apple out of the
basket she continued with what she had to say. “For now the brass
isn’t going to try to do a genetic profile on me, but don’t be
surprised if they try to do one in the very near future to figure
out if we are related. I’m sorry Mikhail, just know I will stall
them as long as possible but we both know that I can’t keep them
off this forever.” Taking a deep breath she finished with saying,
“And I’ve asked them if Mallory Turner can join us on the Farm.
There needs to be a doctor on site and she’s the only one I trust,
and I can tell that even you trust her.” She was the only one that
any of the men trusted which was even weirder.

Nodding he pushed an envelope to her. “This came in the mail
today. Apparently someone sent off something for genetic testing,”
he told her quietly. “The results are inside. I know what they say
and so does at least half the town considering my reaction to
opening that in the post office. Don’t be surprised when you go
into town next and get some interesting reactions.” Pushing off he
gathered up the other envelopes and tossed them to the side before
going to the cupboard. Pulling down two glasses he went to the
freezer and pulled out the vodka. Sloshing a bit into each he slid
a glass to her. “You may want that before reading it.”

“
Who the hell did it?” She growled angrily. “This is bloody
fucking ridiculous. Why didn’t they come to us first?” She demanded
and accepted the vodka that he handed her. Taking a breath she
closed her eyes to calm her rising anger. “How pissed are you?” she
asked quietly and took a drink of the vodka, tossing back the rest
of it as she did so. “And just how much do you hate me right
now?”

“
Don’t know who did it but apparently whoever it was forged
our signatures,” he said softly pouring more vodka for them both.
“I’m mildly pissed but that’s down from the homicidal I was while
in town. Expect a lot of condolence cards and gifts over the next
while. A couple people may offer to let you move in with them too
just be aware. Though I doubt that any of them knew what I was
ranting about by the time I got to the bottom of the pages, it
wasn’t English or countrified English like they seem to speak
around here. When I got to the bottom I was seeing red and had you
popped up the odds were most definitely not in your favor. But I
calmed on the way home and figured you likely didn’t know anything
considering you aren’t a lefty.” He pointed at the forgery of her
signature with a definite tilt to the left.

“
Those fucking bastards,” Penny growled and looked at the
page. “What do you think the odds are the asshats back at the labs
didn’t get this?” The only lefty she could think of that would do
this shit without contacting her or Mikhail first was the director
of the DOD, fucking asshole. “Damn, you would have torn my head off
and shat down my throat had you seen me in town huh?” She read the
paperwork and shook her head, holding out her glass again, “Another
drink, please?” Brother. Son of a god damn bitch he was her
half-brother. Damn. “And how long are you giving me before you kick
my ass out of here?”

Pausing in mid-pour he frowned at her and finished the pour.
Setting the bottle aside he shook his head. “I’m not tossing your
ass out, Penelope. Besides the fact that two of my friends are in
love with you, you’re the only family I have left in the world.
Well,” he snorted with a derisive grin and threw back what was left
in his glass. “That we know of anyway. The old man had a wandering
cock.”

“
I’m sorry Mikhail.” Penny genuinely felt bacd for Mikhail,
very much so. “Well we can hope that we are the only ones because I
seriously doubt that the world could handle more of the two of us
alike, ya know?” She and he were both too much alike, always had
been and that was why they rubbed against each other the wrong way
and she knew it. “I just… Honestly I just figured that it would
give you the excuse to finally get rid of me.”

Moving around the counter he sat down next to her and shook
his head. “Penny, if I haven’t gotten rid of you yet you have to
know you’re not going anywhere. Have you learned nothing about me
in all these months?” Bumping his shoulder to hers he sloshed his
vodka around his glass. “I don’t think I could survive having any
more siblings, one’s bad enough as is.”

“
Hey now,” Penny said with a smirk. “I don’t blame you though.
Having one big brother is more than enough for me.” She looked up
and took a breath. “All right, so do we tell the others or no? I
certainly hope that the brass doesn’t learn about this or they will
somehow use it against us. We both know that they will.”

“
They all suspect so we might as well admit to it,” he said
with a shrug. “As for the brass,” he looked at her and smiled
slowly, not a nice smile. “Let them try. They created us, they can
reap the rewards when they fuck with us.” Leaning forward he
grabbed the bottle and poured more into his glass before sliding
the bottle toward her. “Personally all I feel like doing today is
getting royally sloshed and paying for it later.”

“
I think that sounds like a damn good idea.” Penny tilted the
drink back once again and then sighed. Closing her eyes she shook
her head. “Damn, that’s even better the third glass, another
please.” She pushed her glass back to him and added. “When Mal gets
here we will have her dig the tracking chips out, if you guys
haven’t already.”

“
First thing that went,” he told her as he poured her another
glass. “Trust me, by glass six it will be a battle to keep you from
sucking it straight from the bottle. I get this shipped straight
from the motherland or is it fatherland?” he frowned and shrugged.
“Whatever. I have a buddy stationed there and he ships it to me by
the caseload. So drink up, there’s another two bottles in the
freezer chilling.”

Penny giggled and shook her head. “Well we can’t let those
chilled bottles go to waste. Do you think that everyone will be
laughing if you and I drink ourselves into oblivion?” She shrugged
and tossed back another drink. “Really doesn’t matter. I guess that
the only ones who would be really unhappy would be my guys since I
would pass out on them instead of being there to make love with
them, and Daisy. I think she would be pretty pissed if you weren’t
able to make her scream too.”
