"Come," he said and pulled me back
into the bedroom and I was certain that he was going to fuck me, finish the
job, but instead, he pulled me onto the bed and under the covers. Then he
pulled me on top of him so that I lay on his body.

I waited for him to do something but he didn't,
just held me, stroking my hair, his other hand stroking the skin on my back.

"You don't want to…"

"To what?"

"You
know
…"

"Fuck you?" He glanced at me, smiling.
"It's getting too late and I don't like to rush." Then he glanced at
his watch. "It's almost past the witching hour," he said and turned
my face to his. "I have to go in five. Have an early morning in the OR but
I wanted to just lie here for a while with you. Make sure you're OK."

"I'm fine," I said, my voice stronger
now, a tiny grin on my face. He kissed me softly. He was still semi-erect.
"Are
you
OK? You're still a
bit
…"

"I'll be fine," he said, humor in his
voice. "It's not the first time I've left a woman half-erect and won't be
the last time."

"You don't want to
just
…"

He squeezed me. "Just have a quickie? A
quick ram from behind?"

I nodded, my cheeks heating.

"I'm tempted but no," he said and
rolled over on top of me, watching me as he stroked my cheek. "I don't
want to use your body like that right now but next time?" he said,
frowning. "Next time I
will
use your body for my pleasure entirely.
I intend to fuck you without you coming, just a straight desperate fuck so that
we're even."

That made me clench.

"Why not now?"

"Not now – not the first time. The
first time is all about you. We don't have time to get you back in the mood
after that laughing fit. As fast as you were, I know you won't be that fast
again and I don't have time. I can wait until next time."

We lay like that for a while longer and I just
relaxed, my cheek against his shoulder, my arms around his warm body.

Finally, he sighed. "I have to go."

He rose up and I followed him to the bathroom,
watching as he unrolled the condom from his still semi-erect cock. He threw it
in the trash. Then he took a pee right in front of me. I turned away,
embarrassed.

"I have no shame, Kate, about anything to
do with the body. You shouldn't either. Not with me."

Then he washed his hands and I followed him out
to his clothes, watching as he dressed. He came to me and tipped my chin up
with a finger, kissing me, a sweet kiss.

"Until next time," he said, his eyes
meeting mine. "There will be a next time, I hope? You'll give me another
chance?"

"Yes, please," I said, not intending
to sound so formal.

"I look forward to it. I'm going to edit
your agreement and send you a revised copy in email tonight. I want you to read
it and consider it. Sign it. I want this for real, Kate. I think we're a good
match." He kissed me again. "Promise me you'll consider it."

"I will."

While he finished dressing, I watched, admiring
his physique. I handed him his coat and he pulled it on. He kissed me softly,
stroking my cheek with a thumb, his fingers threading in my hair.

"Call Lara now, so I know you have. She'll
be waiting."

I retrieved my cell from my bag, dialed and then
waited.

"Hi, Lara?" I said, looking at him.
"It's Kate. I'm fine."

He nodded to me and then left the apartment, the
door closing softly behind him.

"Tell me what happened," Lara said as
I closed the door behind Drake.

"He seduced me is what happened. I didn't
plan on us having sex tonight but he has this
way
…"

She laughed on the other end of the line.
"That he does. He's a great mindfuck, Kate. That's his specialty. He knows
how to get into your mind and uses that to get what he wants. Keep that in mind
when you're with him. He's
very
smart."

"He is. Especially in
that
way. You
know, psychology."

"It's how we met. Abnormal Psych course in
my senior year. We actually studied BDSM and I think that's what got me started
in the lifestyle, but Drake remained outside, just interested intellectually.
He didn't get back into it until after his divorce."

"Did he come to you about it?"

"Yes. I taught him everything he knows, but
he's a natural. But I think he was a bit sloppy with you tonight. Tell me why
you were crying."

I exhaled and bit a nail, thinking about it.
"I don’t know," I said. "I was embarrassed. I came so fast, and
he was grinning at me, almost laughing and I thought he must think I was really
stupid."

"Oh,
no
, Kate, you have to realize
that's a bonus for a man like Drake."

"Why?"

"He
wants
to make you come, a
lot
.
It's his way of feeling power. You just proved yourself capable. With new subs,
especially novices, it takes a while to work out the differences between you.
You have to learn how they respond to things, what they like and need. See how
compatible their needs are with what you need. It can take a while to get in
sync. The fact you came so quickly means he
gets
you. He understands you
and what you need. I just don't think he realized how
much
he gets you
and was able to affect you. And," she said, "how much you affected
him
."

"I was surprised as well. I mean, I never
came through intercourse alone before. Not with a man, I mean. Just a
dildo."

"Oh, you use a dildo?" She said
nothing for a moment, but I could hear a bit of a laugh on the other end.
"That explains it."

"I thought I was ruining myself using it.
It was so big I couldn't even get it inside of me completely."

She chuckled. "Drake could ruin you for
other men, so watch out."

"He's big."

"He's
delightfully
big," Lara
said, her voice filled with humor. "If he wasn't a Dom, I'd have made him
my own sub."

"You trained him? Doesn't that mean he had
to take the submissive role?"

"Yes, but every Dom has to learn. I showed
him how to top someone. I taught him how to use toys and implements. I taught
him safety procedures. He's a natural, Kate. He understands this at a really
deep level. As a novice, you couldn't be in better hands. Usually, he would
have just let you go if there'd been any personal connection between you and
him so I'm surprised he's pursuing you. He really shouldn't because he doesn't
like any messy personal stuff in his sexual life. And I think he really likes
you, but don't tell him I told you that. "

"Oh, I wouldn't dream of it."

"Good. He usually keeps his distance with
his subs. He doesn't see them socially. He doesn't really talk to them about
anything outside the lifestyle and sex. He's already seen you socially a couple
of times so this is not usual for him, nor is it usual for him to screw up like
this."

"It was kind of unavoidable, given who we
both are. He and my dad are so close."

"Usually, he compartmentalizes very well.
He has his work, his band, his charity, and his subs. But I have a feeling
you're just his type. Maybe too much if all you want is instruction and to
write your article."

I frowned, wondering why she was warning me.
"That's all I want," I said, but of course, Drake was so attractive
and so desirable in every way, a part of me couldn't help but hope we became
more than just fuck partners.

She was silent for a moment. "Kate, I'll
tell you the truth. When I learned you two knew each other personally, I told
him to stay away from you."

"You did? Why?"

"You're too messy. He should only be with
experienced subs who know that this is just sex."

"Messy?"

"Too much crossover in your lives. Doctors
Without Borders, your father, Africa. You're both in the same social circles.
I'm warning you. That's not what Drake wants, so don't expect anything from
him."

"I won't," I said, but it hurt to say
that.

"He's been alone since his divorce. All
he's had are his subs, which he's not emotionally connected to.
Still
…"
she said, as if debating with herself. "I wonder. Did he kiss you? I mean,
aside from during sex? Did he kiss you goodnight?"

"Yes," I said, frowning. "He
kissed me, um," I said, counting it up mentally, "at least five
times. Maybe more. Why do you ask?"

"Don't get any romantic ideas, because he's
not able to go there. This is just sex, Kate. Keep that in your mind. Don't let
yourself go beyond that."

"I
won't
," I said again,
frowning.

"Well, I'll let you go. Sweet dreams,
Kate."

"Good night, Lara. Thanks again."

I ended the call and just sat on the couch for a
while, remembering the very brief and almost whirlwind events from earlier. I
covered my mouth with a hand as I thought about what happened from the time we
were outside the concert hall to him kissing me goodbye.

Lara warned me and I had to take that warning to
heart.

He said he didn't kiss women unless he was
fucking them. He kissed
me
several times without fucking me, both before
and after. Lara seemed really interested in whether he kissed me as if it meant
something. I didn't know him well enough to understand
what
it meant,
but men always kissed you a lot when they were trying to get you into bed. Once
they did, the kissing seemed to stop.

I wondered if it would be the same with Drake.

Thing is, I
loved
kissing. It seemed so
intimate. I craved it. When it stopped being so important, once you were really
into a sexual relationship, I always felt deprived. The couple of men I slept
with before always seemed to want to get right to the meat of the matter, right
to the sucking and fucking and kisses stopped being so important.

If I was going to enter into this D/s
relationship with Drake, I hoped he would still kiss me, but I expected we
would only meet to have sex so he would kiss me then, based on what I read from
his letters to his subs. Lara warned me. I had to be content with just really
really
great sex.

After a warm bath, I went to my laptop and
checked my email, looking for the agreement he said he'd email me when he got
home. It was half an hour since he left and I expected to find an email from
him but nothing. Maybe he was busy editing it or something.

I yawned and made a pot of decaf Blackberry Tea.
Then, I curled up on the couch with a soft blanket, watching the late night
talk shows to pass the time. I couldn't wait to read Drake's contract, to see
exactly what he expected from me sexually and in terms of behavior.

Later, an hour after he left, I checked again,
but there was still nothing from Drake, so I just shut out the lights and went
to bed.

CHAPTER ELEVEN

The next day, just before lunch, I got an email
from Drake while I was at Columbia. I was surprised that he waited so long to
send it. He said he'd send it when he got home the night before.

I opened it eagerly and read the contents.

Kate:

I've attached a revised agreement for you to review.
If you have any concerns, note them and we will discuss later tonight. I have a
practice session with my band from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. but will drop by
after. Then I'll use you the way I promised.

Drake

That made my heart rate increase just a bit. I
opened the contract PDF and sat at my desk in the teaching assistants' office,
reading it on my iPad.

The first part seemed what I expected, and
similar to what Lara showed me:
