cumstance that your couple approaches together. Your dreams and visions bind you together in this common goal to be the "dream couple" that you want to be.
Your dreams and the visions you create with your partner give you access to what we call "couple power"living happily together forever. Couple power is how we refer to the process of "being couple." Using your sleeping and waking visions, you can ''design" how you want your relationship to be and proclaim your commitment to it.
George and Ann struggled for years in their marriage. Each felt that one of them always needed to be in charge. They tried to alternate paying the bills, doing the housework, and earning the money, but never felt comfortable and close. Everything seemed like a power struggle for them. In desperation, they finally went to a marital therapist. With his help, they were able to design a new sort of relationship. They created the proclamation "We are King and Queen, ruling our realm together." For them, this vision was a revelation. They "ruled" their life and family as a team. Like royalty, both had power and generosity. They talked frequently about what they both thought was best for their family and for each other. The contentiousness was gone, and they shared the rule of their domain happily together.
The vision of the King and Queen includes the possibility of all of the four Cs. George and Ann had the commitment to be together and rule their realm as one. They ruled as a partnership in which both were needed and each contributed something special. This required real cooperation, not competition. They could feel their own power and acknowledge the other's without fear of feeling diminished or demeaned. After all, they were both royalty. They could listen without defensiveness, and each felt that she or he was being heard. The result was truly effective communication. Each wanted to hear what the other

had to say, which was necessary in order for them to rule fairly and compassionately. Finally, George and Ann knew they were Queen and King for their whole community. They felt an obligation and commitment to create a network around them for ''being couple" and sharing themselves. Others around themdukes and duchesses, if you willcould look to them as a model of a powerful and effective relationship.
Through the vision they created, George and Ann could see a future that was bright and fulfilling. They could begin that future immediately by acting as the King and Queen even without knowing exactly how to do it. The change was like a fairy tale. They loved their life, and they loved each other. All this came from their own vision.
When you live knowing that you create your dreams in your dreamworld, you can live creating your dreams in your waking life. Your visions create the reality of a rewarding couple and powerful relationships in the world! Your life becomes a festival of interesting experiences, emotions, and dreams of your own design. How better to live your life?
