She smiled. Brantley curled his
lip, loving the rockstar life and all it brought.

He stood, pointing to the backdoor
of the club. Outside there was a car waiting. The night would then continue in
a fancy hotel. It would be a very long night. Thankfully, Brantley had nothing
on his schedule tomorrow. He was free and clear for a little while now.

After taking one step, his phone
went off.

Brantley sent the women off outside
and took the call.

Brantley sat back down. The whiskey
and beer dried right up inside him. He was stone cold sober now.

biggest regret ever. Days, weeks, and years convincing himself it was the right
thing to do. Now it all felt wrong and stupid.
