About the Author

Bruce Judisch,
a Senior Information Operations Analyst for the Joint Information Operations Warfare Center, has been writing for many years.

“A Prophet’s Tale,”
Bruce says, “is a story we
thought
we knew—an ageless tale of rebellion and intrigue, love and faith, and spirits in battle over a destiny of a man. I wrote the series to portray that the actions the Lord calls us to always affect those around us, never us alone. If you’ve heard the story of Jonah, you may know about the storm and the great fish, but what of the consequences of Jonah’s rebellion? What of the broken relationships? The lost opportunities? My motivation for writing this trilogy is to tell the prophet’s story in a uniquely fresh, entertaining, and thought-provoking way.”

Bruce is the author of another novel,
Ben Amittai: First Call,
the prequel to
The Journey Begun,
which introduces the trilogy on Jonah, and also more than 18 Bible book study booklets, as well as topical studies on the Seven Churches of Revelation, the Resurrection, and Discerning God’s Will.

Bruce holds an MA in Information Systems and Computer Resources Management; an MA in Management; a BA in Russian; and an A.A. in Communications Processing Management.

Bruce lives in Texas and is currently working on
The Word Fulfilled,
the sequel to
The Journey Begun.

[B23]
I replaced this waking up scene because was too long and, frankly, so esoteric as to almost be goofy. I did want to text paint his climbing out of a drugged stupor, but overdid it. I’m way open to suggestions, if you think more needs to be cut/done.
