THE LUCKY LOTTERY

Dink looked around the room. “What did the burglars take?” he asked.

“Lottery tickets,” Lucky said. “My grandfather always sends us lottery tickets for Christmas. This morning, he called. He told me that my ticket was the big winner! I ran in here to get it, but it was gone.”

“Um, how much was the lottery ticket worth?” Dink asked.

Lucky dropped into a chair. “Seven big ones,” he said.

“Seven thousand dollars?” Josh squeaked.
