Chapter Twenty-Two

Annabelle sat in Marcus's arms as his father passed out presents to everyone. She glanced around at her new family. The guests had left, except a select few. Doug sat with his wife in his lap next to them. She laughed and pulled Marcus's head down to her ear.

“Did you know I had asked Doug to help with another gift for you? But with Alocer, I think it wise he doesn't do it. Just imagine the painting.” Her face heated as his cock sprang to life under her. He sat up and glared at Doug. “You're very lucky you didn't do what she asked. I'm afraid I wouldn't have been able to control myself, let alone Alocer.” Doug laughed and nodded. “That's why I didn't agree. I knew you three would take care of her tonight.” He winked at her as Alocer growled next to her head. She reached up and grabbed his hand, kissing it. “I love you, Alocer.”

Nicholas sat down and Lance handed him the painting she had painted for them. She sat up and watched as he ripped the paper. Eden stood behind him and gasped as she traced the picture. Lance smiled at her as Nicholas sat the picture down and called her to him. Marcus urged her up and she went into his arms. Eden sat on one leg while she sat on the other. Trish sat between his legs. “I sit here a humble man, with my wife, who is my life, my children all around me, and my newest member of my family, our daughter. Thank you for bringing joy and peace once more to this family. The happiness I see in my sons’ eyes each day makes this old man young once more.” He paused and Eden nodded. “The Christmas legend says that three wise men will bring peace among all worlds and species, but Annabelle's words say it best.
The Christmas legend states three wise men will bring peace among many. For me you have brought this to me tenfold. For I hold all four of our hearts inside of me keeping them safe. When times are tough just follow the loud beat of our hearts and know you are home in my arms and always loved.
I truly believe she is the rope that will hold her three men together and guide us all with her love and hope. That is what Christmas is all about.” Eden moaned as she glanced at Annabelle. “There you go again. I'm not fixing your makeup again. It's late anyway, and I'm sure, by the look of my sons, you won't be here much longer.”

Annabelle wiped the tears away and glanced at all three of them. Their dragons snorted flames, as their gazes danced with fire with promises in their eyes. She turned her gaze on Nicholas. “And when did you see my gift to my mates?” She asked Saint Nicholas. With a twinkle in his eye, he whispered, “I see all, my dear, and I do mean all.” Eden smacked him upside the head and her mates growled as everyone else burst out laughing. She shook her head and knew her life might be crazy, but it was filled with love and passion. They would make it.
