Just as I noticed a bush full of the ripest berries, I felt eyes on me, stalking me. Trying to ignore it, knowing I was safe on Balfour land, I continued picking the berries. As time passed, I became more aware of a presence near my right side.
Realizing that whoever it was didn’t plan to go away, I turned to head back to the village. Before I could take the first step, a branch snapped, drawing my attention to the forest.

There stood the largest, most massive black wolf I had ever seen. Wolves were common around our part of Scotland, and it was commonplace to see the odd one in the distance or hear them howling at the moon. This animal was something different entirely, though, nothing at all like the common gray wolves I’d seen.

His eyes were focused on mine, the most beautiful eyes imaginable. They were the color of a summer sky, light blue that could be seen even from a distance. He was at least twice the size of the wolves that normally haunted the hills around the Balfour keep, standing at least five-foot tall from paw to back. His body was massive, a head larger than that of any animal I had ever seen.

I took in all of this before realizing that this animal could kill me and leave nothing but bones behind. Taking a step back, I tried to decide what I should do. My father always said running from wild animals would only make them attack. Right then, the wolf wasn’t even moving. If I ran, I wondered, would it chase me? Not knowing the answer, I took a step back.

It didn’t attack. Instead, it let out a howl, still not breaking eye contact with me. The sound caused my fear to grow. Taking another step backward, I let out a quiet cry of distress. Its ears stood up, and it howled again. This time, it sounded different, as if the wolf didn’t like the fact that he was frightening me.

I stopped moving, fearing any movement might bring it to me. Staring at the large animal, I noticed a slight change. Its once thick coat was becoming much thinner, and there were parts of its skin showing through. It also seemed smaller, much smaller. When the creature’s body began to shake, I realized something was happening, something very, very wrong.

Ignoring my father’s advice, I turned away from the wolf and ran. A tortured howl hit the air as its pounding feet bounded my way. The wind whipped past me as I ran as fast as my legs could possibly carry me. My breath burst from my lungs, while my legs burned with each step. Ignoring the pain, I tried to escape the pounding behind me.

I slowed my pace until I was standing between the trees, gasping for more air. I hinged at the waist and bent down, putting my hands on my knees as I tried to catch my breath enough to make it the distance back home.
After the briefest seconds standing hunched over, I finally felt as if I had my bearings and begun to stand up straight.

I took off to the right and ran as fast as my legs would carry me. Just as I reached the top of the hill, my foot landed in a hole. Losing my footing, I scrambled for purchase in the loose dirt and brush below me. Pulling my foot loose, I tried to take off again, but instead, I stumbled, tumbling to the ground. A pain shot up my leg, letting me know I could go no further. Letting out a pain filled cry, I prayed whatever had been behind me had now given up.

Knowing I must move, I pushed myself to my knees, then up on my feet. The pain in my ankle forced me to walk. I had hardly taken a step before the wolf appeared on my left, lunging in front of me and causing me to stumble to a halt. “No, please go away.”

Shouting at it only brought on another frightening howl. As the sound echoed over the hillside, my body started to shake with horror. Looking away from him, I tried to take another step, but pain shot up my leg, causing me to fall hard to the ground. Tears fell from my eyes, and I prayed for strength and forced myself to move.

Not even yet on my knees, I felt him breathing down the back of my neck, and my body locked in fear. Slowly turning to look at the wolf, I came face to face with the great beast. Fear controlled my movements as I hurried to scramble backwards. Within seconds, it pounced, forcing me onto my back. The animal hovered above me, a deep growl leaving its muzzle.

So utterly frozen in fear, all I could do was lay below him and do nothing but stare into its beautifully haunting eyes. It was staring back at me, moving its head from side to side. We both seemed unable to break eye contact, neither of us moving an inch.

As I laid there, staring into the eyes of the magnificent creature, it felt as if I had looked into those eyes before. It was as if I had spent hours gazing into those eyes before. Continuing our silent standoff, I blinked up at the creature and whispered, “What are you?”

Before I was even able to understand what was happening, the wolf let out a huff of air that ruffled my hair, and then slowly brought his head down to my face. Completely frozen in utter terror, not moving a muscle, I slowly released the breath I had been unknowingly holding. As my breath hit his face and lightly ruffled his fur, his eyes began to change right before my eyes. Slowly closing my eyes, I steeled myself for my fate, and then reopened them to look back at the eyes I knew as well as my own. The beautiful blue had transformed into a comforting amber.

“Brody?” I asked, my voice noticeably shaking with my fear and confusion. “What sort of magic is this?”

He let out another huff of air and leaned his head back down to my face. This time, he started to nuzzle my neck. For some reason unknown to me, I gently reached my unsteady hand up and stroked the side of his massive head. My action caused him to stop his affection and move back until we were at eye level once again. He let out a gentle growl, moving his head deeper into my hand.

Unable to believe what was happening, I blinked away the tears that were still lingering in my tears. “Brody, is this really you?”

The wolf’s beautiful amber eyes slowly blinked back at me before he begun to back away. Just as I thought he was preparing to leave, he stopped and crouched down low, making me fear he was about to pounce once more. Instead, he continued to stay in this position. I watched and noticed a slight shimmer around him as his body started to contort right before my very eyes. I could hear the sounds of his muscles and bones popping as they shifted places.

Before my eyes, my Brody appeared, crouched down in front of me in all of his naked glory. Slowly raising his head, he looked at me once again. Only, this time, he was different. He was now the breathtaking man I loved, rather than the mighty wolf that had stood before me just moments before.

“Isabel,” he breathed out, running a shaking hand through his tousled shoulder-length hair. “I didn’t want you to find out like this. My wolf just refused to stay away from you any longer.”

Not able to say anything, I continued to stare at him with a look that must have resembled utter horror. He went to his knees, continuing to tug at his hair. “I wanted to tell you before, but I didn’t know how.”

“Brody,” I croaked out, fear still easily heard in my voice. “What on earth is going on?”

Before he even had time to answer, a thought popped into my head. “Oh, my sweet Lord, I’m going mad, aren’t I? Is this what it feels like to be on the verge of going insane? Oh my, oh my God. It must be. I have to be mad to believe that you just changed from a wolf to a man right before my very eyes.”

I knew I was rambling, yet I couldn’t seem to help myself. I was nearly hysterical, for fear of what would happen when the clan discovered that I’d lost my mind. “Your father will lock me up in the dungeon. He’ll be forced to hide me away from everyone.”

Rushing forward, he grabbed my face in a firm grip, stopping my head from shaking back and forth in denial. “Please, Isabel, you need to listen to me. Let me explain. I won’t hurt you, and neither will my wolf. I promise. Just, please, give me a moment to help you understand.”

Still attempting to shake my head in disbelief, I looked up into his amber eyes before stuttering the words, “I don’t know… I don’t know if I can. Please, Brody, make me understand what is going on, because right now, I fear I am on the edge of losing my mind.”

A sigh left his throat as he lifted one hand gently to brush the hair from my face. Looking me straight in the eyes, he began to lower his mouth toward mine, making his intentions perfectly clear and giving me the chance to stop him. No matter how much my mind screamed at me to push him away, my body didn’t seem capable of doing so. This was Brody, my love, sitting there in front of me. I had to give him the chance to explain, the chance to try to have this mess make sense to my fragile mind.

Gently, his lips met mine in an incredibly tender kiss, as if he knew that if he pushed too hard I would flee. Lifting his mouth from mine, he licked his lips, and I swear I heard a growl leave him. “I will explain everything to you, my love. Just, please, I beg of you, have faith in me. Please, don’t give up on me. Don’t ever give up on our love.”

Brody

LOOKING DOWN
at the bitch hidden under the booth, I can’t quite keep the hatred, for her or myself, out of my voice. “Suck it harder. Take the whole thing down your throat.”

She murmurs her agreement around my cock, her mouth not releasing the suction as she desperately tries to shove my whole length down her throat. Her head bobs up and down, her tongue runs over the head of my dick, and she has one of her hands massaging my balls. The other is buried in her panties, helping her get off on this more than I am.

I am trying not to laugh as she tries in vain to deep throat me, choking and gagging as she goes. This is a piss poor attempt at a blowjob if I have ever seen one. Eventually, she gives up and starts to hum, sending vibrations through my cock, but still, I’m not even close to blowing my load.

The sounds of the bar are all around me, reminding me that I have other things to do.  Grabbing a fistful of hair, I force her head to move faster, hoping a little more friction may help her half-assed skills. The smell of her hairspray hits my nose, and I release her hair. My inner animal decides to show, letting out a rumble of disgust, and I mentally tell him I agree before letting my head fall back to get away from her.

Knox shouts my name from the bar, but I ignore him and concentrate on getting what I need. Her sickly sweet perfume and the musky scent of her well-used pussy hit me next, causing my stomach to roll. That’s it; I can’t take this shit. Reaching below the booth, I pull her mouth off me and push her from under the table. “Go away.”

“But, Brody,” she whines, running her red-tipped nails over her exposed cunt. “I can do it better if you just give me a chance.”

“I gave you a chance, and it wasn’t very good,” I scoff, finishing off my drink.

Straightening her skirt, she leans against the table to give me a view of her fake as hell tits. “Please. I’ll do better. I promise.”

Leaning forward, my nose nearly touches hers. “Go away.”

As soon as she walks to the other side of the bar, Knox takes the seat across from me in the booth and sets his beer down. Before he can even say word, a hand slinks over my chest.

“Is it my turn now?”

“Now, you wanna suck my dick?” I growl out, forcing my canines not to drop. Not even taking the time to look at the woman standing next to me, I tell her, “Get the hell away from me.”

Do these bitches never learn? If I want them, I’ll let them know. If not, stay back. She stands there pouting for a minute, before finally slinking off to find another man to give her what she wants.

Turning my head back to Knox, I see a smile spread across his face and humor in his eyes. “What’s so funny?”

“Well, I figured you’d be in a better mood. I know getting my dick sucked always brightens my day.” He chuckles, before throwing back a drink of his beer. “In fact, I might prove that theory before the night ends.”

“Well, if the bitch knew what she was doing, I might be in a better mood. Right now, all I feel is the need to find someone who can do a better job, someone who can give me head without fearing they’re about to eat my dick right off,” I reply with a shrug.

“I know what you mean, Brody. Remember the sheepherder’s daughter? Fiona was her name, I think. It took me two months to get her to lift her skirts. When I finally fucked her, her pussy was drier than the Mohave Desert. Then, when she finally got off, all I wanted to do was pull out and run away. She rubbed me raw. My cock was too sore to touch for a week.”

Laughing, I nod my head. “Yeah, I went around with her. Just to let you know, it only took me a week to get her to lift her skirts. My dick suffered for it, though. I swear, the thing shrivelled up every time I saw her after that.”
