I

m going to have you,

he whispered.

His lips touched hers, once, twice,
and then he pulled back.

You
were with him,

Mr.
Strokner said.

I can taste
the filth on your lips.

What?

Jace.
You were with him. You let him fuck you, I bet. You let him kiss you.

Mr. Strokner backed up.

Please,

Jordyn said.

Just tell me
…”

You
whore,

Mr. Strokner said.

My wife and my daughter were
whores. Look at their fates. The fate of a whore.

I
won

t tell anyone,

Jordyn said.

Just let me leave. I don

t want to do this anymore.

Mr. Strokner slammed back into
Jordyn. She whimpered. His hands held her waist, tight.

You fucking wanted it. You took the position. I
told you what I wanted to do and you accepted it. You didn

t mind when I touched your sweet
pussy. You didn

t mind
rubbing against me, making me come all over myself. You fucking whore.

I
understand, Mr. Strokner. I've lost my family too. I just lost my grandmother
today. Please, I understand."

Jordyn heard the slap before she
felt the sting of pain. A second later came the realization she had just been
slapped across the face by Mr. Strokner. She touched her cheek and tears filled
her eyes.

He started to wrestle with Jordyn,
trying to turn her around. Jordyn tried to kick and punch, but he elbowed her
in the stomach. It knocked the wind out of Jordyn enough that she was paralyzed
for a few seconds. That

s
when he turned her around. His body was against hers.

I

m going to finally fuck you,

Mr. Strokner growled.

Then I

m going to kill you. You don

t deserve to live. You fucking whore.

Jordyn grabbed at the desk. She
tried to push back. She turned her head, ready to do something

anything to get away

but she saw a knife in Mr.
Strokner

s hand. The blade
touched her neck and it stung.

Look,
you

re bleeding already,

Mr. Strokner said.

Damn. Just stop. Relax.

Jordyn was frozen. There was knife
to her neck and she was already bleeding.

Mr. Strokner unbuttoned her pants
and pushed them down with one hand. He touched her ass and curled his fingers
around. He touched her but it meant nothing. She wasn

t wet for him. She didn

t want him.

I

m going to fuck you good,

he whispered.

So good, Jordyn.

Jordyn heard him unzipping his
pants. She looked left, then right. She needed to do something.

I
lost my family,

she said.

I know the empty feeling.

Shut
up,

Mr. Strokner said.

Shut up. You

re empty? I

ll fill you. With my dick.

I
understand how you're feeling,

Jordyn said.

They took her
away. They fucking hurt you. I hate them too, Mr. Strokner. Jace murdered a man
in front of me. Then he forced me to my knees and I had to suck him off
…”

Mr. Strokner growled and then the
knife was away from Jordyn

s
neck. He whipped her around. He put the knife on the desk. His hands climbed up
to her face. Jordyn looked down and saw his half erect dick just dangling
there.

Jace
killed someone in front of you?

he asked.

Yes.
He made me see it.

He
hurt you?

Yes.
I

m trying to tell you
that. I

m scared, sir. I
want to be

held
…”

The tears in Jordyn

s eyes were real, but they weren

t because she wanted comfort
from Mr. Strokner. She just wanted to make it out of this alive.

You
want to be held?

Mr.
Strokner asked.

Because Jace
hurt you? Because they all hurt you?

I
saw him shoot a man. More than once. He shot the man in his stomach and let him
bleed to death. I saw it. I can help. Just don

t
hurt me, sir.

Mr. Strokner gently touched Jordyn

s arms.

I would never hurt you. Never. I

m going to love you. I

m going to make you a better
life. The life my wife and daughter had. Yes. I

ll
take such good care of you. I

ll
love you, touch you, fuck you when you need it. Like I need it right now. Okay?

Hold
me first,

Jordyn whispered.

Mr. Strokner lowered his head. He
slowly came forward and put his face to her chest. Jordyn didn

t know what to expect next, but
when Mr. Strokner started to cry, she had her chance.

Reaching carefully, Jordyn got the
knife off the desk. She closed her eyes. She wasn

t
made for this kind of stuff. Not hurting. Not killing.

Mr. Strokner screamed and then suddenly
he was away from her. When Jordyn opened her eyes, she saw the knife sticking
out of his arm.

His fucking arm

Jordyn

s mind told her one thing -
you missed, and now
he

s going to
kill you.

Rage filled Mr. Strokner

s face. He grit his teeth so
hard they looked ready to break into pieces.

Whore!

he managed to growl.

Jordyn quickly grabbed the bottle
of scotch and swung it. The bottle cracked Mr. Strokner in the head. He
stumbled to his left and then fell over a chair to the floor.

Jordyn lifted her pants and then
looked behind her. She grabbed the pictures from the folder as he tried to get
back to his feet.

She ran from the office and down
the hallway.

It was the last time she wanted to
ever see that man and this fucking building. She hoped Jace would kill him and
burn this place down.

twenty-one.

Jace paced the hallway in the
clubhouse. Jordyn was in the shower, again, and he made sure she was
comfortable enough to be alone for now. The line had been crossed once and for
all. The proof was the fear in Jordyn

s
eyes and the pictures in Jace

s
hand.

He was waiting for Miller to get
back from a meeting with Chief Jerry. A few of the guys were at the bar. Unfortunately,
one of the prospects dared to ask Jace if he was okay. And now that prospect
was still picking up teeth from behind the bar. This was not the time to ask
Jace anything other than how he planned on gutting Strokner from his throat
down to his asshole.

The longer it took the angrier Jace
got.

When the door to the clubhouse opened
and Miller came in, he looked just as pissed. Gaige, Blaine, and Landon were
behind him. Landon went to the bar and kicked over a barstool. Gaige punched a
wall. Blaine had a hand on his dick and balls, adjusting himself, as a lit
cigarette hung from his mouth. Miller grabbed a pool stick and broke it over
the table.

What
happened?

Jace yelled.

Nothing!

Miller bellowed.

The fucking van was empty!
Empty!

What

?

Miller grabbed Jace by the
shoulder.

You heard me,
Jace. The chief stopped the van himself and it was fucking empty. The driver
and passenger both checked out. They work for the seafood company. You know how
much of a fucking stupid we look? Running drugs? Coast Road is selling goddamn
fish.

I
bet their hands stink like pussy,

Blaine said and grinned.

Not
the time, Blaine,

Gaige
said.

I
know what I saw,

Jace
said. It felt like all he did anymore was repeat that phrase.

Fuck, Miller. There was fish on
top and drugs under it. In each box. If that

s
how they

re moving
…”

It

s done for now,

Miller said.

We look like paranoid fucks.
Chief Jerry thinks we

re
losing our edge. This is not good.

Yeah,
well, want to see something?

Jace asked.

Don

t give me anymore bullshit
conspiracy shit.

Here,

Jace said.

He put the pictures of himself
burying a body into Miller

s
hand. Miller looked at the pictures wide eyed. He looked at Jace.

How
in the fuck?

Strokner,

Jace growled.

Get
to the table.

Miller
looked back.

Table! Now!

Those who were patched in rushed to
the meeting room.

Jace took his seat and Miller slammed
the doors.

Jace looked around the table at the
men he considered his brothers. Men he had fought, hugged, hated, and loved.

Erik to his right, Blaine to his
left. Shay and Nate at the other head of the table. Then Landon, Griffin, and
Gaige. Finally, at the head of the table, Miller. He pulled his chair out and
sat down. He threw the pictures to the table and pointed to them.

Where
the fuck did they come from?

Gaige asked.

Strokner,

Miller said.

Motherfucker.

He
was setting it all up,

Jace said.

Then he
attacked Jordyn. He tried to force himself on her. Then he tried to slit her
throat.

What?

Nate asked.

Christ,
brother,

Griffin said.

Where is she? She okay?

She

s in the shower,

Jace said.

Beautiful,

Blaine said.

Hot water, tight body
…”

I

m going to fucking shoot him,

Landon said.

Come
on, do it,

Blaine teased.

Shut
up,

Jace said.

She fought back. Stabbed his arm
and then knocked him out with a bottle of scotch.

Tough
chick,

Erik said.

Yeah,

Jace said.

Her grandmother died this
morning. Then she gets attacked in the afternoon. What a fucking mess.

At
least tonight she has you,

Gaige said.

Hey,

Miller said.

She

s welcome here for the rest of her goddamn life,
Jace. I respect what she did for us. We got the information we needed.

Yeah,
well, I

m sure Strokner is
thrilled,

Jace said.

He

s
probably on the phone to get that land off us right now.

Miller nodded.

Strokner had the pictures. So he
must have been in bed with the judge. Maybe even talking to Coast Road. So
right now, we need to send a clear message to everyone. And I mean

everyone.

What
are you thinking?

Blaine
asked.

Strokner
is going to die,

Miller
said.

And his fantasy
office over there

it

s no more.

I

m ready,

Blaine said.

I
think we all are,

Griffin
said.

The table then nodded and everyone
tapped their bottles on the table.

Miller waved his hands and got the
table to calm.

We need
smart action. Strokner is on the loose right now. I

m sure he knows Jordyn has run to us, which is fine
by me. We have enough muscle on our side to take care of this.

How
do we get him?

Blaine
asked.

Simple,

Miller said.

He

s
going to come for Jordyn. Strokner will fall right into our laps.

Fuck
no. Leave her out of this,

Jace said.

It

s our only option.

Her
grandmother is being laid to rest tomorrow,

Jace said.

I have to be
there with her. There

s
nobody else.

Gaige stood with his fist out.

We

ll
all be there, bro. For you. For her. She deserves it.

Jace nodded and bumped fists with Gaige.

The
entire table,

Miller said.

We

ll make sure she

s
okay. And that there

s
people there for her. Nobody should go that alone.

After
that, we find Strokner,

Gaige said.

We go to his
office and start tearing things apart. If by some chance he doesn

t come to us, we

ll scare the shit out of him.

What
about the land?

Jace
asked.

I

ll call the lawyer right now.
Make sure that nothing can happen, at least temporarily. I don

t know if his mind is right
enough to jump at that land.

The
guy lost his wife and daughter,

Griffin said.

I know he

s an asshole

but damn
…”

Hey,

Jace said.

We

ve
all lost someone. Look at it this way - we

re
speeding up the process for him to be reunited with his family.

That

s deep shit,

Blaine whispered.

Either
way, it

s done,

Miller said.

Strokner will die.

What
about the pictures?

Jace
asked.

Should we talk to
the chief? Tell the lawyer?

No,

Gaige said. He dragged the
pictures in front of himself. He took out his lighter and lit them on fire. The
pictures burned and Gaige nodded at Jace.

There
were no fucking pictures, man. There was never evidence. It was just a ploy to
rattle our chains.

I
consider the murder charges dropped,

Miller said.

One mess
down, a couple more to go.

Thank
you guys,

Jace said.

I mean

fuck
…”

Don

t,

Blaine said. He put a hand to Jace

s
shoulder.

You get
emotional and I

ll get
hard. Plus, there

s a naked
woman in your shower. I can

t
stop thinking about it. I

m
getting hard right now.

You

re a fucking asshole,

Jace said.

I
know, man. But I can

t help
it. My cock does what it wants.

Do
you jerk off with the hand that

s
on my shoulder?

Jace
asked.

Do
you want to know the answer to that?

Nate asked and laughed.

Everyone else laughed.

Doesn

t matter,

Blaine said.

My
cock is so big, I need both hands.

Fuck,

Jace said.

He wiggled away from Blaine.
Everyone continued to laugh as Jace went to the bar. He got four cold beers,
holding two in each hand, and headed to his room. He needed Jordyn.

When he opened the door, he was hit
with the steam from the bathroom. The bathroom door was partially open, the
mirror fogged up. The water was still running.

Jace smiled and dropped the beer to
the bed. He went into the bathroom and opened the shower curtain. Jordyn was standing
there with the water pounding off her body. From the side, the beautiful curves
of her breasts turned him on instantly.

Jordyn noticed him and turned, now
facing him. He admired the sight of her wet skin; the delicious body that his
tongue had traveled and tasted.

He memorized every inch.

Far
too beautiful for all this,

he whispered.

No.
I don

t believe that.

Why
don

t you get out of there
and come have a beer with me? We need to talk. There

s something I want to tell you. About the club.

Everything
okay?

Jordyn asked.

It
will be, babe. Now, if you don

t
get out of there right now, I

m
coming in.

Jordyn forced a smile and Jace
offered the same back. He knew she was still rattled from what happened with
Strokner. The cut on her neck was barely closed up. Thankfully, it hadn't been
deeper. The thought of that happening

Jordyn on the office floor, bleeding out to death

Jace clenched his fists and
swallowed the anger. He reached into the shower and turned the water off.
Jordyn looked at him strange and Jace grabbed a black towel. He offered his
hand and let Jordyn step out. He put the towel to her shoulder and slowly dried
each arm. Then he worked the towel down her sides and came up her stomach to
her breasts. His body was aching for her. Without a word, Jordyn turned around.
Jace stepped back and took in the sight before his eyes. Jordyn

s dark wet hair fell halfway
down her back. Water dripped down to the small of her back.

Beautiful didn't even sum up what
she was. It didn't seem like a powerful enough word. Jordyn had knocked down
all the walls Jace put up around himself. She did so in such an unexpected, yet
innocent way. For a second, Jace felt like the wind had been knocked out of
him. She had changed everything. He had spent days and nights sitting in
prison, trying to figure out who he could trust and who he wanted to beat the
shit out of while listening to echoing footsteps outside his cell.
