“You’re wild, but I love it.” He swam over to her.

Sabrina waded right next to him. “You
ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Jus’ wait until we fuck for the first time.”

The vision of Sabrina’s plump auburn ass bouncing down the beach made his dick swell beneath the water. He couldn’t wait to slide inside of her. Sabrina definitely had a way about her. She could arouse any man without even touching him. Her persona
lity alone turned him on, add in the fact that she was beyond gorgeous, and she became irresistible. Sabrina could make a crabby rattle snake purr like a new born kitten with just one look.

Even though Peck was
smittened with Sabrina, and they both were grown…he was still uneasy about one thing. The fact that Tyce was unaware of their budding relationship wasn’t sitting well with him. Although she told him he wouldn’t have a problem with it, Peck still wanted his blessing just to be sure. He respected Tyce too much to keep him in the dark.

~Date Night

Sunday was the designated date night for Dallas and I. Shit, we spent just about every day together
, but Sunday was special. We made it a point to have fun, do something romantic, or just sit back and watch a movie. I cleared my schedule and she cleared hers to make room for quality time. I admit I didn’t like the idea at first, however it kind of grew on me. It was my turn to plan the date and I had something in mind that would be new to both of us.

I had Carmela drop Khari off at Angelique’s house because I still didn’t feel completely at ease with her riding with me. After my daughter left, Dallas and I got dressed and we headed out for a night on the town.

As we pulled up in front of the crowded night club, I could see her reading the blue neon sign. Her forehead wrinkled up and she turned to me wearing a look of bewilderment.

“I put on a skin tight dress, spent two hours
doin’ my hair, and an hour on my make up to come here?”

I put my Benz in park. “What? You don’t like techno music?”

“The music isn’t the problem, it’s the crowd.”

“Oh,
so you don’t like gay people?”

Dallas sucked her teeth. “Now you know I don’t have a problem with gay people. Shit, I’m bi sexual myself. I fucked your baby mama remember?”

I chuckled to myself. “How could I forget that?”

“Exactly,” s
he said confidently.

“Look, date night was your idea and you said we would take turns deciding what to do. You also said you
wanna try new things, so it doesn’t get boring…so this is new.” I pointed to the club.

Dallas rolled her eyes. “Alright, but don’t get all pissed and shoot up the place when a nigga smacks your ass
, or blows you a kiss from across the room. You know you’re a pretty boy.” Dallas teased me.

I hated when people called me pretty and she knew it
, but I decided to not to respond to her playful jab.

“You
jus’ better hope some dude doesn’t have on the same dress as you.”

Dallas cracked up laughing as she opened the car door. We made our way to the front of the line and I pulled out a hundred dollar bill to persuade the door man to let us bypass the endless line. He happily accepted the bribe and let us glide past him amidst attitude laced hisses and angry shout outs from the impatient mob that watched us cut in front of them.

Once we were inside the packed club, hundreds of red overhead lights shining on a black dance floor made the huge space look like it was decorated by vampires. I held Dallas’s hand as we weaved through the bouncing crowd toward the huge bar. Dallas bobbed to the music next to me as I leaned into the bartender’s multi pierced ear to talk to him.

“I want that VIP section over there.” I pointed to a roped off
area decorated with velvet couches.

“That section is three hundred and it comes with a bottle of Goose, Crown, or Patron. You still want it big daddy?” He grabbed an empty glass and a napkin.

“Yeah.” I handed him three crispy hundred dollar bills. “And I want
him
to take care of me and my woman while we’re in there.”

The bartender turned around to see who I was nodding
toward. He took the money and winked at me.

“I’ll let him know. What bottle would you like?”

Dallas heard the whole conversation and answered the thin man before I could.

“Patron, and can you make six lemon drops with sugar on the rim of the glass please?”

“No problem sweetie.”
The bartender whirled around and busied himself.

Dallas and I were promptly seated in the private section just to the left of the small stage. The DJ informed the crowd that the drag show would be starting soon and loud cheers and high pitched whistling erupted from the tipsy party goers. I clapped my hands as well. Dallas drummed her French tipped finger nails on the table top and shook her head at me.

              “What?” I shrugged my shoulders.

She wagged her finger. “Don’t what me, you’re up to
somethin’.”

“What are you
talkin’ about? I jus’ wanted to come out and show some love to our gay community.”

Ummm hmmm, I got a feelin’ that’s not the only reason you’re here.”

I chose not to confirm her suspicions and just bobbed my head to a techno remix
of one of a Beyonce songs. Moments later our drinks arrived. They were delivered by the person I requested. Now the party could really begin as the waiter and I made eye contact.

~Baby Daddy

The following day I paid Angelique and Khari a visit. I had just come from the barber shop so my head was looking
extra tight. The hot summer weather dictated my outfit, so I was dressed accordingly. Army fatigue shorts, a dark blue T-shirt that fit my physique nicely, and matching limited edition all blue Jordan’s with the proper socks riding low. My watch glistened in the sunlight on my right wrist as I pushed the doorbell to announce my presence. Before Angelique could come to the door, I adjusted the gun that was tucked in my waist band. Ever since the shooting, I never left the house without it. Shit, I even took it with me when I took the trash to the curb. I wasn’t paranoid…I just stayed ready so I didn’t have to get ready. Seconds later Angelique opened the door and to my surprise she was wearing her birthday suit at two o’clock in the afternoon.

I looked her up and down. “Damn, is this how you greet all your guests?”

“Of course not, I was jus’ about to jump in the shower and I knew it was you. I saw you pull up from my bedroom window. What are you doin’ here?”

She stepped aside and I walked into her quaint living room. My dick was starting to wake up
, but I ignored him and her at the same time. I maintained my cool as I casually walked to the couch and sat down.

“Sorry I didn’t let you know I was
comin’ by. I was in the area takin’ care of a lil’ business and I wanted to swing by and give you this.” I pulled an envelope from my back pocket.

Angelique sauntered over to me with a little extra switch in her hips. Her mocha brown breasts were two feet from my forehead as she took the thick envelope from me. A look of confusion washed over her face as she opened it up and peeked inside.

“What is this?”

“That’s five thousand dollars.” I leaned back on the sofa.

“Five thousand dollars for what?”

“That’s child support for the little girl we share. Where is
she by the way?” I looked pass her freshly waxed pussy at the empty baby swing.

“She’s sleeping in her room.” Angelique’s attitude was going south quickly. “But, let’s get back to this money. What the hell are you
talkin’ about child support for? I don’t need your money Tyce.”

“I know you don’t need it
, but Khari lives with you, we’re not together and I want to help support her. I’m gonna give you five thousand dollars every month. Jus’ put it in a savings account for her until she turns 18. That will give her about a mil if you do that.”

“Why are you
doin’ this? Why are you treating me like a fuckin’ baby mama?” She threw her hands in the air.

I shook my head. “I’m
jus’ tryna take care of my responsibilities. You’re the mother of my child, not my baby mama.”

“I
’m supposed to be more than that!” She shouted.

She threw the envelope at me.
Her temper was flaring up, but she took a few deep breaths to calm herself down before she spoke again.

“I’m sorry for yelling at you. It’s not you I’m mad at, I’m mad at myself.” She looked away.

“I jus’ don’t want things to be like this. I know I fucked up and I regret what I did. I’m sober now. I wanna show you how much I love you and I wanna be with you, but I can’t do that if you won’t let me.”

She gently touched my cheek and looked down at me.

“I’m not askin’ you to take me back right now. All I want is for you to not give up on us. I want you to still keep a light on for me…that’s all. I know you’re with that bitch and even though I don’t like it…I respect it.”

I cracked a grin. “You respect it huh? Is that why you’re standing here like a naked mannequin?”

She sucked her teeth. “You know how I get down. If you don’t like it…don’t look.”

“Shit, I’m not blind.”

“I know you’re not. I’m not blind either and I can clearly see that you miss me. But, I’m not gonna make you admit that now. I jus’ want you to know a few things.”

I cocked my head to the side as she put her hands on her bare hips. I was trying my best not to stare at her body and I had to pat myself on the back because so far I was doing a good job.

“What do you want me to know?” I asked.

“I want you to know that this body belongs to you, this pussy belongs to you, my love is yours and my heart is yours. I know I messed up
, but I’m not giving up on us. We all make mistakes and when the day comes that you make one, I’ll forgive you. I’m a real woman, and a real woman fights for what she wants and what I want is you.”

I could tell she meant what she said with every fiber of her being. However
, her words didn’t reach my heart because the wall around it was too high.

“I hear you, trust me I do, but I’m with Dallas.”

Angelique slid me a wicked gri
n. “Like I said, we all make mistakes.”

~Two
Steppin’

After I left Angelique’s house my next destination was Pamela’s residence. It had been a few weeks since I had seen her and I wanted to spend a little time with my mom. She was still slightly shook up over my near death experience, so I wanted to put her mind completely at ease and nothing could do that better than a face to face visit.

On the way there I passed by m
y favorite cigarette store. It was the only store that sold my brand of clove cigarettes and they knew me well. I decided to stop by to re-up and rap with the Ethiopian owner for a second. I whipped my Benz into the crowded lot and parked right in front of the store. As soon as I pulled into the spot, a giant Hummer swooped in next to me. The SUV was so close that I didn’t have room to open my own door.

I
looked up and saw the passenger side window slide down. Khalil’s black face leaned out, he scowled at me and then he pointed a brushed chrome Desert Eagle at my head through my tinted glass. He squeezed off three direct shots. Despite the point blank range and the short distance the powerful bullets had to travel, I simply grinned at him. I didn’t even flinch as he fired his weapon rapidly. I remained as still as a sculpture because the bullets simply bounced off my window.

The business I had to take care of before I swung by Angelique’s crib was to pick up my new bullet proof Benz. I had Peck drop me off at the custom s
hop earlier in the day and now I was smiling because once again I was two steps ahead of those weak ass niggas out here.

Khalil’s eyes got as big as light bulbs. He couldn’
t believe his murderous drive through plan had failed and I had got the drop on him. Neither of us could open our car doors, but before I could think of a plan B, the door of the store flew open and the owner started shooting at the front windshield of the Hummer. Khalil ducked down in the seat and tires screeched as the black truck backed up quickly. A total of six shots flew out of the shop keeper’s pistol before the massive vehicle sped out of the parking lot and leaped onto the street.

As I got out of my car, I saw frightened bystanders standing up from their designated hiding spots behind cars and thick bushes. I looked around the lot to make sure
that there were no other niggas trying to kill me before I turned my attention to the man that had my back.

Are you ok Tyce?!” Hakim stepped toward me.

I leaned against my hood and crossed my arms.

“Yeah, I’m good. Right on for comin’ out bustin’ like that. Good lookin’.”

“Don’t sweat it. This is the second time this month I had to shoot at somebody. When I heard the shots I ran out with my gun. I keep it right underneath the cash register for shit like this. Are you sure you’re ok?” Hakim adjusted his glasses and looked me over.

I waved my hand nonchalantly. “Yeah I’m straight.” I pulled out a 20 dollar bill from my pocket. “Ay, let me get me two packs of cigarettes…and some Skittles.”

He took one last look out at the street before he answered me.

“You want regular, or tropical punch?”

“Regular
and make it four packs ‘cuz I got a lot of thinkin’ to do.”

~Guess Who

Dallas took her fourth shot of Patron and slammed the mini glass on the coffee table.

“I can’t believe that nigga tried to kill you! What the fuck is goin’ on?! Is he mad ‘cuz you clipped punk ass Roman? I mean what the fuck! What did you ever do to him?!” Dallas bit her bottom lip as she paced the floor in the living room.

“Shit, all I did was get the niggas money back when Armando jacked him and his old partner Silk. I guess that shit don’t mean
nothin’ since he’s Nino Brown now.” I poured myself a shot.

Dallas stopped pacing
, but she was still gnawing on her bottom lip like a beaver.

Tyce, I’m in a fucked up situation. The fact that he’s my cousin is out the fuckin’ window right now. That shit got cancelled when he shot at you. I’m jus’ happy you got your car bullet proofed. You originally did it to protect Khari, but it also saved you.” She continued her living room vent session. “Khalil is dead to me, but his mom is my favorite aunt. If he died she would be devastated.”

I drank my shot and spit out a question.

“What do you want me to do? I’m leavin’ this one up to you.”

Dallas walked toward the chair I was sitting in and sat on my lap. She lifted my chin up to hers and kissed my lips softly. She looked into my eyes and spoke straight from her heart even though she was a little tipsy.

“Family and friends come second to you. I’m your woman and you’re my man. If you let me decide, I say kill him. If you want me to I can tell you where my aunt lives so you and the crew can kidnap her. I don’t want you to hurt one hair on her head but it will make Khalil come to you. Do you want me to do that for you?”

Dallas was the epitome of a help mate. Sure, she wasn’t helping me get a construction business off the ground
, or anything like that. However, what she was doing was helping me extend my life and vanquish my enemies’ whether they were blood related, or not. A man like me could not ignore that and it showed me she was willing to put me first. Once again Dallas displayed her love for me. I mean, she was actually willing to help kidnap her mom’s sister to help me get Khalil. Now that’s my kind of woman. That shit was sexy! I squeezed her thigh before I answered her question.

“Baby girl, I’m not
gonna kill your peoples, even though he tried to kill me. I don’t wanna be the one to bring pain to the family of the woman I love. I appreciate the gesture though don’t get me wrong.”

“Well, what are you
gonna do? He can’t jus’ get away with this shit. You can’t jus’ slap him on the wrist like he stole a damn cookie.”

I laughed at Dallas as she g
ot animated. I had to admit that the woman had a way with words.

“Pour us some shots.” I pointed to the bottle.

Dallas got up from my lap and played bartender. She brought my drink to me and kept hers.

“Let’s make a toast.” I raised my glass.

“A toast to what?” She raised her eyebrows.

I looked up at her with a glint in my eye and a plan in my head.

“Let’s toast to killing Khalil…financially.”

~I Have
An Idea

The kids were at an overnight play date with Ranae’s cousin, so she and Sway had the night off per se. The two of them stood in their back yard watching the landscaper’s plant desert willow trees along their back privacy fence.

“We should get a pool.”
Ranae looked up at her husband.

“Is that right?” Sway took a swig from his ice cold Dr. Pepper.

“Yeah, don’t you wanna see me in my bathing suit or jus’ plain ole naked swimming in the water? It is too hot out here in L.A. not to have one.”

Sway smiled at
Ranae who was already pointing to where the outdoor oasis would be. He loved to make her happy and ever since he had started running with Tyce…she was all smiles these days. Sway took pride in providing for his growing family. The days of being broke hadn’t faded from his memory and they never would. He would always remember how they used to struggle to make ends meet, and how Ranae stuck by him. She never blamed him for their lack of money, or talked down to him. Instead she just hung in there and made the best of a bad situation without complaining. So, if she wanted a pool, a pool is what she would get.

“That’s cool. I know
Ameenah would love it, that girl’s got fish in her blood.” Sway nudged her shoulder. “I love our life and I love you. You stayed with me when I was broke and I appreciate that.”

Ranae
put the future pool plans on pause and grabbed her husbands’ hand.

“Sway, you are a wonderful man with or without money. I see in you what you don’t sometimes. I knew you were
doin’ the best you could to provide for me and the kids. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like what you do now. I’m not one of those selfish bitches that puts money over everything. I’ve never been materialistic at all. But, I know you, and you like money. When you decided to work with Tyce I was worried to death. Shit, I still worry about you every time you leave the house. But I also know a man has to be a man and a woman has to be a woman and support him no matter what. I don’t ask a lot of questions about what you guys do and I don’t wanna know, because I trust your judgment.”

Sway leaned down
and kissed her forehead gently.

“I’ll be careful…I won’t do anything stupid.”

“I know you won’t. For some strange reason I feel better knowing Tyce is out there with you. There’s jus’ somethin’ about him. I can’t explain it but he was built for this life and I don’t see him as the type that would fuck up.”

Sway grinned. “I know what you mean. He stays ready…”

Ranae cut him off before he could finish his sentence.

“So he don’t have to get ready. He always says that shit.” She shook her head with a smile.

“Speakin’ of Tyce, I gotta go meet him and Peck in about an hour. He said some shit went down yesterday and he needs some help. He also said we about to get paid.”
