Gabriel lifted his head and did another of those erotic pushups that made his biceps bulge. She burned as he ripped open matching condoms and slid them over both his and Joey’s erections.

He leaned in and kissed her, long and deep while Joey thumbed her clit. She rushed upward immediately, on the verge of a second release. Just as she started to shake, Gabriel grasped her hips and settled her right over Joey. “Sink down over his cock, sweetheart. Let me hear you scream for him.”

Her jaw dropped as Joey’s thick head parted her pussy lips. She couldn’t stop herself—she wiggled, screwing herself down over his impressive cock.

Joey’s face splintered in bliss. His mouth opened in an O—the perfect size and shape to take Gabriel’s cock. He fitted it at Joey’s lips and pushed deep. Angling his head, Joey sucked while he rocked his cock into Jayla’s pussy. She stared at her lovers until her eyes glazed and rode his cock until she splintered a second time.

Then Gabriel repositioned them all, and she found herself right where she wanted to be—surrounded by two big bodies.

“Can you take me here?” Gabriel ran his thumb over her pucker. Joey’s balls clenched tight to his body at the sight of his lover’s veined hands against Jayla’s unblemished skin. She tossed that glorious hair off her shoulder and looked back at Gabriel.

“Y-yes. I think so.”

“Have you had a man claim your ass before?”

“No, but I want to try.”

Gabriel pushed her legs up and apart further as he burrowed closer to her drenched heat. Her eyelids fluttered. “Next time I get your ass. Right now, I want in this soaking wet pussy.”

With each inch he slid into her, Joey’s cock throbbed. Gabriel trapped both her hands over her head and sank balls-deep. She cried out.

Joey reached for the lube. He parted his lover’s cheeks and smoothed the oil over his pucker. Sinking one finger in dragged a grunt from Gabriel. But they both loved this—the claiming as Gabriel had called it. The ultimate sharing of a body—and giving of trust.

Joey slicked his finger in and out of Gabriel’s ass for several seconds before adding a second digit.

“Dammit, enter me. Now.” Gabriel’s dark command sent a wave of dizziness through Joey’s mind. Jayla’s eyes were hazy with passion. God, Joey could almost imagine her tight pussy clenching around Gabriel’s cock.

He lined up his swollen head with his lover’s ass—and pushed home. In seconds he was buried to the root.

“Fucking hell,” Gabriel rasped.

Jayla closed her fingers around Joey’s arm. Gabriel groaned. Joey roared.

He moved. Slow and sure strokes that ripped guttural noises from his lover. Joey controlled the speed and rhythm, and he loved the power in his hands. So much pleasure to give. Driving them all toward an orgasm so big, he’d never want to surface.

His balls tightened, and his cock gave one fast throb.

“Hell, I’m close,” Gabriel panted.

Jayla looked right into Joey’s eyes as she came apart. Her nails digging into his arm as she let him see the ecstasy in her gaze.

Clutching Gabriel’s hips, he latched onto his lover’s neck and sucked even as he fucked him deep and fast. Faster still. When he tipped over the edge, he felt Gabriel’s ass grip him to impossible tightness.

“God, I’m coming,” Gabriel brayed, churning into Jayla even as he pushed back for more of Joey’s cock.

Joey came with a resounding roar. Heat rushed up from his spine and spurt after spurt emptied into his lover as he held Jayla’s gaze. Whatever barriers had existed between them were torn down in one mind-bending release.

There was no going back now. Joey was hooked.

Chapter Four

Gabriel leaned against the wall and stared at his lovers entwined in the big bed. Some people might believe he was taking advantage of Jayla’s vulnerability. She was under their roof, their protection, after all. But he didn’t think she felt that way.

The attraction between them all was too strong to be circumstantial. After this all blew over…

He released a long sigh. Then what? He and Joey had something special, and he would never jeopardize that. But he couldn’t deny spicing things up with Jayla made him even closer to Joey. Sharing her as they had—

“Gabe.” Joey cracked an eye and flipped back the sheet in invitation. His lean body called to Gabriel, and he couldn’t resist crossing the room to slip into bed with him and Jayla.

Joey hissed as Gabriel’s feet touched his. “Your feet are cold.” His hushed voice heated Gabriel’s shoulder, and he eased closer, keeping his feet off his partner.

They watched Jayla for a minute. Her chest rose and fell rhythmically, and in repose, her lashes were incredibly long and lush. She wore several red marks on her throat and breasts from their rough attentions.

“I have to admit I like seeing her in our bed,” Joey whispered.

Funny how close their thoughts ran, like two long lines of gunpowder ending in the same explosive. Together they combusted. Gabriel feared that Jayla might be another line. How was that even possible?

Maybe this wasn’t real. Maybe he was suffering some strange aftereffects from the blast. At least his hearing was already improved. He couldn’t say the same for his emotions.

Earlier he’d gone into her apartment before her to ensure her ex wasn’t skulking around waiting for her. Everything about Jayla’s space had felt at once familiar. From the few knickknacks on the shelves to her toothbrush lying on the bathroom sink, it was as if he’d done all this before. And with her.

“I like her here too,” he admitted to Joey.

His lover flexed his arm around him, drawing him closer still. “I read through any gruffness you dish out, but she doesn’t know you. You’ll have to tell her how you feel.”

Gabriel glanced at Jayla’s sleeping face again. So lovely, so vulnerable. Yet she possessed an inner fire. He was just waiting for her to reveal it. She hadn’t totally come out of her shell with them, but he suspected it was only a matter of time. And when she did, Lord help them. She’d be the spark to their gunpowder.

Whatever happened, they’d watch out for her. And next time, she’d need to invite them into her bed. It was the only way to find out if she was just caught up in the moment or really, truly wanted them.

“The cops don’t know Blaine’s whereabouts. We can’t trust him not to find her,” Gabriel said quietly. “Does it bother you to have her stay here?”

Joey gave a small shake of his head. “Not at all. It’s nice to have company when you’re on the job. She distracted me.”

Gabriel arched a brow. “Is that so?”

Joey gave him that crooked smile, the one he’d fallen for months ago. “Not in that way. Unless you give the go ahead.”

“Who am I to stop a man from sinking into that tight pussy?” He lifted the sheet so they could see the dark shadow between Jayla’s soft thighs. His cock grew steely at a single glance.

Long fingers wrapped around his base, and he stared into his lover’s eyes. Joey pumped him with one glide that had him gasping. “You want to think of me fucking her while you’re fighting fires?”

“Fuck yeah.” He shook from the building need inside him. Clinging to anything good in the world was imperative to his mental health while at work. Especially on days like today when he’d carried the unresponsive child out of the burning house.

Joey stroked the sensitive underside of his shaft. Pushing his hips upward, Gabriel filled his partner’s hand completely with his arousal.

“And when I’m pouring drinks I want to think of you licking her pussy. I want to come home and taste her on you.”

A ragged breath left Gabriel. He covered Joey’s hand and positioned it where he wanted it. Jayla added spice, all right. But they couldn’t just use her.

Gabriel bit Joey’s earlobe. “We need to let her come to us. It’s not right to pressure her.”

“You’re right. I won’t make any moves.” Joey’s expression told Gabriel he had no such reserves about their relationship. Thank God.

“As good as your fingers feel around my cock, I need to get up. I need a shower, food, and a few minutes alone to call the station.”

Joey groaned and released him. Gabriel rolled out of bed once more and went into the bathroom. Minutes later when he returned for clothes, he found the bed empty. Voices drifted from the guest room.

“How will you find him?” Joey asked.

With a fierce growl, Gabriel strode into the other room. Joey wore jeans and nothing else, but Jayla was fully dressed. She hadn’t unpacked her suitcase, which was a pretty good indication she had no intention of staying very long. Maybe Gabriel was wrong about things. Then again, they
were
moving pretty fast. And to her, it was just sex. She wouldn’t know his and Joey’s fantasy of having a soft, giving woman in their lives.

Joey was right—she wouldn’t know anything unless they told her.

“What’s going on?” he demanded.

She turned those big blue eyes on him. “I’m going out today and investigate.”

Gabriel was shaking his head before her words were all out. “Not alone.”

“Yes, alone. Look, I investigate fraud for a living. I know where to dig for dirt that people try to hide. I keep the insurance companies I work for from writing fat checks for things they shouldn’t. I can find Blaine and hand him over to the police.”

He didn’t like the way she said that—did she intend to apprehend him all by herself? “Like hell.”

She settled her hands on her hips, and he final saw
it.
The feisty attitude she’d been hiding from them. Or maybe she’d only been waiting for the best moment to reveal it. Either way, the glimmer in her eyes and the tilt of her jaw did bad things to his control.

He took a step toward her.

She tensed. “Look, I know what I’m doing. You can’t protect me forever.”

“Two days is hardly forever, sweetheart.”

“You can’t call me that.” She stomped her bare foot onto the hardwood floor.

The corner of his mouth tugged upward, or threatened to. He brought it down into place so she didn’t turn more of her anger on him. Then again, it could be fun.

“You don’t want me to call you sweetheart, fine. But Jayla,” he drawled her name as he took another step closer, “I know how you taste. And how your eyes widen when you’re about to come.”

She wrapped her arms around herself. “Oh God.”

“We’ve asked you to stay here for your own good, sweets,” Joey added, inching toward her as if she were a spooked animal.

“A woman is just as strong and capable as you are.”

Damn, she was cute when angry. His wayward lips quirked up again, but this time he didn’t bother to hide it. “We’re not saying you’re incapable.”

“Then what are you saying?” Her gaze latched onto his smile, and her brows jerked together like exclamation points.

Joey settled on the bed and she swayed in his direction. Taking Joey’s cue, Gabriel sat next to him. Jayla came near, and triumph burned in his chest. They’d managed to tame the kitten.

“I don’t do games, guys.” She cocked her head to the side and glared them down.

Almost tamed.

“No games here. We want you safe. That’s all. So if you want to go out and do this investigation, one of us will be with you at all times.”

“Oh no. No, no, no. How do I explain bodyguards when I’m going into Blaine’s workplace? Or show up on his mother’s doorstep with you in tow?”

“We’ll keep our distance.”

“Absolutely not. Look, I’m grateful for the place to stay. I can’t deny I felt pretty creeped out when I was in my apartment yesterday. Blaine had a key, and he returned it to me, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t make a duplicate.”

Gabriel clenched his fist. “Why didn’t you tell us this?”

“It seemed unimportant. Besides, I’m here, not there.”

Yeah, and the monster had no idea where they lived. Gabriel had been very cautious about approaching and entering her building, making sure nobody was watching or in the vicinity. He didn’t want a man like Blaine having more power

If Gabriel ever got his hands on the guy…

The heavy beat of his heart as he looked into Jayla’s eyes spoke louder than a fire whistle. This attraction, desire to protect, and need to bring her into their world wasn’t going away anytime soon.

He had no choice but to make her understand his thought processes.

Snagging her hand between his, he drew her to stand between his and Joey’s thighs. Joey caught her other hand, and she looked between them. Something softened in her eyes.

“We like having you here, Jayla. I’d like to know you better,” Gabriel said.

She made a quiet noise. They wrapped her in their arms. She went soft and pliant immediately. “I want to know you better too. Your relationship intrigues me.”

“Why, because we live and love openly?” Joey asked.

“No, because what you have is special. Most people never see it in a lifetime.” She looked between them, wonder in her eyes. “I want to find out your secret.”

“It’s give and take, sweets. And learning as much as we can about each other so we try not to overstep boundaries. But when it comes down to it, Gabe and I had chemistry from the beginning. We feel that with you too.”

She sucked in a breath. Several heartbeats passed, and then she slipped off their thighs and put distance between them. The tension was back in her stance. “Things are happening too fast, and everything I know is jumbled up. But the one thing I do know is I need to find Blaine. Even if this means my safety is at risk. My life isn’t worth all those of the people he’s hurting by setting these fires.”

She had a point, but no way was Gabriel letting her put her life in jeopardy. “Absolutely not. Leave it to me.”

Jayla took a deep breath and stepped out of the cab. The minute her boots hit the pavement, she glanced right and left. Her instinct to jump back into the vehicle and head back to the guys’ house made her legs stiff. While they showered, she’d sneaked out. Right about now they were probably going crazy. Hopefully they found her note about the text code she planned to use to let them know she was all right.

Looking around, she found the world to be normal. Maybe nothing was terrifying after all. No photographers or reporters crowded her. No dangers popped up.
I’ve amplified this in my own mind. And Gabriel and Joey’s safety-first attitude is off-base. I’m perfectly safe.
