Holding her breath, Amber moaned loudly when it slid slowly, oh so slowly into her. She was wet and the passage was easy. When he filled her to the hilt, he paused. A sudden throbbing beat started and she thought her insides were still beating with sustained excitement.

It took several seconds to realize it was his hard flesh that throbbed. Amber panted, almost mindless with desire. He would never have to move if he didn't want to—it felt that good. Like a vibrator set on slow throb.

Then he moved, pushing in and out gently. She wiggled and pushed against him, wanting more. The throb of his flesh didn't change, but coupled with the stroke of his rigid staff, it was too much. She bucked and screamed, but he didn't stop.

Amber trembled as orgasm after orgasm rippled through her lower body. They continued in waves until she felt the power of his orgasm. It hit her hot inner flesh in spurts, feeling wonderful and hurting a bit as well.

He pulled her up gently from the table, and then untied her hands. Sliding his hands to her waist, he turned her to face him.

"What's your name?” She rubbed her wrists. She looked weak.

"Ryja. And yours?"

"Amber."

He caught her as Amber fainted. Ryja picked her up and carried the Earth woman to his bedroom. Easing her upon the bedspread, he pulled back the covers and then settled her under the sheets. Sitting on the edge, he stroked through her midnight hair. It was silky and he found himself lulled into a peaceful state.

Ryja should have waited one day before initiating sex with her, but Amber was just too tempting. Unfortunately, there were some species of humanoid that were drained by beaming aboard a spaceship, and he'd never brought an Earthling aboard before. Amber would suffer no harm, other than being very tired for a day. A good night's sleep and she would be normal.

He smiled as he gazed upon his new lover. She was a beauty. Her skin was pale, different from the golden tones of his people. It was baby soft to the touch, and looked as soft too.

Her eyelids were down in sleep, fringed by long, thick black lashes. He would never forget the astounding light green shade of her eyes. He stroked her lower lip. Dark pink. Very lovely. Her lips were not large, but just right in his estimation. They had been exquisite for kissing, and her expertise with her mouth and tongue only added to their appeal.

One hand strayed down the sheets, caressing her waist. Her body excited him, just

the memory made him hard again. She was tall, about six inches shorter than him, while her physique was slender. Though slim, her buttocks were cute little round curves, and her breasts were full.

Not over big, but enough to fill his large hands, while their shape was pert, almost pointed. Best of all, they were real. He had studied about Earth women's penchant for increasing their breast size.

Implants. Ryja shook his head. If women of any Federation planet wished to make their breasts bigger, it was done by gene manipulation. It would be many years before Earth abandoned their barbaric methods.

Xorta III
really did a great job this time. His computer with psychic powers served several purposes, one being connecting with his translator so he understood language nuances no matter what planet he was on. The other main purpose for owning such an expensive machine, was the ability to search a planet he was visiting, and find him the perfect partner for the adventure.

It was no fun watching a historical event unfold if you couldn't discuss the ramification of certain actions. For example, if dinosaurs had not been wiped out, how would Earth's creatures have evolved? Or if the South had won the Civil War, what would America be like now?

On a simpler note, the joy of watching a spectacular sunset was diminished if you experienced it alone. Sure, it was just as beautiful, but there was something about sharing it that moved it into memorable. Many such ordinary events were more enjoyable when shared with someone. Someone special.

Each planet offered a multitude of beauties to choose from. But his partner needed more than looks to be chosen by

. The computer knew all the particulars—must love history and be willing to explore it by jumping back through time, be physically active, have an intellectually inquisitive mind, and a sense of humor. Last, she must have a sensual nature, one that embraced sex with enthusiasm.

So far, Amber had proved to be on the A list when it came to looks and a sensual nature. Only time would tell if she met his other requirements.

Xorta III
had not steered him wrong once in his many travels. He kept the chosen female with him the whole trip, reveling in making love, interesting conversations, and a partner who loved exploring history as much as he did.

He smiled, wondering what Amber would think of his computer when he introduced her.

Amber stretched and rolled to her side. The other half of the bed looked inviting, and Ryja realized he was tired too. He'd been up early making calculations and talking to

. He yawned, undressed, and lay beside his Earth woman. This didn't feel right.

Ryja pulled her into his arms, hoping he wouldn't wake her. Amber simply snuggled in his arms like a

, the Earth equivalent of a kitten. One more point for his computer. He was one male who enjoyed snuggling. He had never understood why a man wouldn't want to cuddle with a woman. A naked woman in your arms wasn't exciting? Weird.

Chapter Four

Amber awoke, stretched and opened her eyes. She blinked, wondering why the room was pitch black, and why there were stars overhead? She sat up, confused. “I wish I knew where the light switch was,” she mumbled.

At her words the black faded into a pale beige and the room was illuminated by hidden lights. It gave the room a cozy ambiance. “Ooh.” This wasn't the hotel room.
Where am I?
The last thing she remembered after lying on the hotel bed, was dreaming about that gorgeous alien.

Amber looked around at the bed she rested on. It was a huge, round affair. The coverlet was a puffy, silky material in swirling shades of blue. There was a thick, dark beige carpet on the entire floor, and several large pillows were strewn about. Probably had been on the bed originally.

She sat up on the edge of the very comfy bed and squished her toes through the lush carpet. Wonderful. Whoever decorated this bedroom loved luxury and sumptuous living.

Her stomach growled and she had a sudden urge to pee. Getting up, she was surprised to discover she was nude. Grabbing the sheet, she wrapped it around her, and then tried one of the two doors in the room. It was locked. The other opened into a small bathroom. The toilet was a strange shape, and the shower a cubicle glass enclosure.

Amber sat hesitantly. If she was dreaming and urinated, she would wet herself. She hated it when she was a kid and dreamed she sat on a toilet, only to awaken to wet clothes. Everything seemed normal after she finished.

She walked back into the bedroom. This couldn't be real, because if it was, then was Ryja real?

As if she had called him into being, the door opened and there he stood. Amber held her breath. He no longer wore the leather pants, instead a silver loose fitting one piece outfit covered his body. A shame that no flesh showed. It made him look alien, but still handsome. After the intimacies they'd shared last night, she felt a bit uncomfortable.

"Are you hungry?"

She had expected other questions, but not that one. It was safe and put her more at ease. “Yes.” She stepped forward, plucking at his sleeve as he turned. “Are you real?"

A gentle smile lit his face. “I'm a real humanoid, and you are on my spaceship.” He spread his arms. “Everything is real.” Those beautiful blue eyes caught hers in a warm stare. “The sex was awesomely real."

She blushed. “I still don't know if I'm dreaming or not, but I would like breakfast."

"Your clothes are over there.” He pointed toward a chair by the bed.

Amber hadn't noticed them, but grabbed the clothes and dressed quickly in the small bathroom. After she came out, Ryja started toward the door he had entered through. She followed as he walked down a hallway.

"By the way, why was I locked in?"

"To keep you out of trouble."

"Where am I?"

"On my spaceship."

As odd as his answer was, it fit her list and subsequent dream. She stayed quiet, observing their pathway, which was a long grey hall with doors showing up intermittently. Unable to help herself, she asked, “What's behind door number one, two and three?"

He chuckled. “It's lucky I've studied your language and culture so extensively, or I wouldn't have any idea what you were talking about."

"Look,” he opened a door. Inside were all kind of machinery, blinking and making

whirling noises.

"Communication central."

Striding down the hall he opened another door. “Medical."

Amber peered into the large room. Cabinets took up one side, with strange looking

instruments and bottles filling them. Two metal tables were in the center.

A sudden movement made her heart skidder. A strange, thin metal robot leaned over a tray. It stopped when it noticed them. Its eyes blinked red, otherwise there was no expression on its mechanical features.

Ryja waved a hand. “Continue.” The robot turned back to the tray. “Sarla loves her work."

"It's a girl?"

He laughed. “Not really. A robot has no gender. I like to assign them a name, thus giving them female or male characteristics."

"She didn't seem too lively."

"That was a good observation. The newer models are more animated. But Sarla's a good nurse.” He raised an eyebrow. “Wait to you meet Mica."

"A lively robot?"

"No, an android with character out the wazoo."

Amber stopped and faced him. “I'm amazed at how many Earth cliches and sayings you know.” She frowned. “Which makes me think this is a dream."

He cleared his throat. “Um, I have a confession. I did study everything I thought was important to the mission. But there's no way I can know every little idiom."

"Your mission?"

"I'll explain after breakfast.” He thumped a black box clipped to his belt. “This is a kind of translator that places correct terminology understanding in my brain. It can be fed information on each planet I visit."

"How does it work?"

He shrugged. “Can you tell me how a television works?"

"No way,” Amber said.

"I'm an explorer, not a scientist. I haven't a clue how it works."

An explorer. This was getting more interesting.

"Okay,” she pointed at the metal wall behind him. I noticed the halls are curved. Is this spaceship round?"

"Yes, it is. You will see it later. But it looks very much like the craft on Lost in Space."

"Really?” That seemed a little too simple, like something a dreaming mind would think up.

They had walked a few feet, and then he stopped in front of another door.

"You watched our television shows or movies?"

"Some of both. I do find it amusing that so many Earthlings deny the existence of life on other planets. So, I became interested in watching series and movies concerning your planets concept of space travel."

"And aliens?"

He nodded.

"Interesting. Any favorites?"

"Hmm. I enjoyed Star Wars and Star Trek."

She giggled. “Star Trek has always been my favorite.” She glanced at him. “You aren't going to tell me which you liked better, are you?"

"Nope.” He opened the door. “Right now, I'm starving."

Amber stopped in the doorway. The walls were white, a welcome relief from the dull grey of the hallway. A single table sat in the center, with four chairs around it. The furniture was made from a dark wood with golden grains running throughout. There was a vase of flowers in the middle of the table, and the flowers must be from some exotic plant, because she didn't recognize them. Not that she was an expert, but she was pretty familiar with most types of flowers.

Each stalk resembled an orchid. The large petals were a burgundy red with black stripes running down the center of each petal, and the smell was heavenly.

"How beautiful."

"You haven't seen anything yet.” He spoke aloud. “Play Earth garden scene."

Amber gasped. All four walls lit up and it looked like they were in the middle of a lovely garden. Flowers and floral bushes grew behind a stone wall, while one section was broken by a flowing waterfall that rippled into a pond. Any wall could have been photographed for Southern Living magazine.

She had been so overwhelmed at the visuals it took a few seconds to soak in the sounds. Birds sang, crickets chirped, bees buzzed, the wind sighed gently, and the waterfall gurgled.

"Can I sleep in here?"

Ryja grinned. “My bedroom is far more interesting.” He pulled out a chair for her.

Amber didn't argue. His bedroom was lush, but it couldn't compare to the beauty of nature all around her, which is something she loved. She sat, turning from one wall to the next, entranced. She closed her eyes, taking in the sounds. She had never felt so peaceful. She had been so overwhelmed she had failed to notice there were more odors than the flowers on the table. Several varieties of flowery scents floated around her. She recognized the scent of roses, so knew it had to be from the same scene that wrapped around them like a real garden.

The aroma of food drifted to her nose and Amber's eyes popped open. A concealed door nestled in the middle of a rose bedecked arched trellis had opened. Through it walked a man carrying a tray, who was dressed in black pants and a long sleeved black shirt. His black hair was slicked back. While he was nice looking, there was something about his looks that was odd. Maybe he was an alien from another planet.

"Mica, you've outdone yourself.” Ryja commented as the man set down the food.

This was the android. Trying not to stare, she examined him. His face was too perfect, so smooth she couldn't see any pores. Mica's gaze flicked to her, and Amber was surprised by the vivid blue shade, which she'd never seen on any human. She looked down at her plate, realizing she had been staring at him when he glanced at her.
