Chapter Eleven

David watched how Rachel interacted with his father and he
could tell that his father was smitten with the young woman. David told her
earlier that day that he would prefer that Rachel didn’t tell them how exactly
they met because his father was judgmental and would disown him, so Rachel
kindly told the older gentleman that they met at the park several weeks ago.
David could tell that his father was shocked by her response, but David knew
that his dad wouldn’t up and call Rachel a liar.

“Wow David,” Jeffery said clapping his hands together.
“You’ve really picked up a fine young woman. You, my dear are an absolute
delight! So charming and full of determination! Not to mention educated!
Daniel, isn’t Rachel quite the gem?” Daniel swallowed his food down roughly and
looked at the woman with her big green eyes staring at him with a blush on her
cheeks. Daniel tried his hardest to dislike Rachel, but he couldn’t. Everything
about her was perfect and he hated it.

“Yes, you’re quite the lovely young woman.” Daniel finally
responded. A delicate flower like her does not deserve to be selling her
services as a wife! I’m sure she could have found a decent man. It’s sickens me
to see David acting like a gentleman when he is cruel to just about everyone.
Rachel doesn’t deserve to be lied to and David doesn’t deserve Rachel!  David
looked at his brother and couldn’t help the sinister little smile that momentarily
marred his features.

Someone’s jealous,
David thought to himself. Seeing
his younger brother flushed over a woman that he was with amused David.
Heh,
you’ll never have her. I have her wrapped around my finger
. Daniel glared
at his brother and David knew that Daniel had a good idea of what he was
thinking.

“Well dad,” David began and stood up. “I don’t want to keep
Rachel out too long and I know how you enjoy telling all of your stories on how
you built this company, it’ll be best to wait another day.” Rachel looked up at
David and quickly fumbled to get to her feet. Rachel didn’t want to do anything
to upset David because to her he was definitely a keeper.

“Well that’s too bad,” Jeffery stood up then and walked
around the massive table and hugged the young woman much to hers and David’s
surprise. “I do hope you visit again.” Jeffery said and let Rachel go. Jeffery
was shocked that David was acting so gentle with Rachel so maybe he was wrong
about his son? He’d have to sit back and see how everything plays. David took
Rachel’s arm in his and she blushed in bliss. When she was within reaching
distance of Daniel she turned to him.

“It was very nice to meet you Daniel,” Rachel said and
extended her free hand to him. Daniel’s heart skipped a beat and he slowly
reached out his hand to hers. David watched their transaction and was surprised
at the gentleness and care of Daniel’s touch, it pissed him off.

“Let’s go,” David said and started walking away when Daniel
held onto Rachel too long.

“It was nice to meet you as well,” Daniel said just before
Rachel and David were completely out of sight. When he could no longer hear
their footsteps, Daniel sighed irritably. “What should I do?”

*****

“You have a beautiful place,” Rachel said as David led her
through his massive living room. David’s dad was kind enough to purchase a
house for him leaving all of the decorating up to interior designers who could
match anyone’s personal style. David placed Rachel’s bags down onto the floor
and looked at Rachel. As genuine sounding as possible, he dropped that line
that he knew would make Rachel’s heart stop.

“This is our house now; you are my bride after all,” David
said and Rachel’s eyes went wide. They hadn’t discussed when they would get
married, if David had it his way, he’d marry her as soon as tomorrow. His
father didn’t believe in having or conceiving a child out of wedlock, so the
sooner that they married; the sooner Rachel could have his baby. David had to
give Rachel credit when credit was due. She did an excellent job this evening
and even though she expressed her dissatisfaction with lying, she lied to his
father and that pleased him.

“You are… you are really not quite what I expected you to
be. When you told me you were wealthy, I imagined that you’d act spoiled and
ungentlemanly like. I… was wrong for judging you so harshly. I don’t have much
experience with men considering I haven’t really had relations with anybody.
But David, even after knowing you for a day I could tell that you were made for
me. I’ve never believed in a perfect man until I’ve gotten to know you.”

David wanted to laugh at Rachel’s clichéd ‘love at first
sight’ type of confession. The girl was so innocent and naïve, he’d made a
great decision when he chose her over those other women. He knew that he had
her and he had her good. Rachel said that she was a good woman, an innocent
virgin woman, but she was his now and he was going to strip her innocence away
from Rachel and corrupt her. Without hesitating, David brought his mouth down
to hers and slipped his hungry tongue inside of her.

“Mm,” Rachel moaned in surprise. No man has ever been so
forward enough to kiss her so abruptly and so deeply. She wanted to pull away
from David, to tell him that she really wasn’t that type of girl, but the more
her brain told her to pull away, the more Rachel’s body succumbed to the
pleasure that David’s hands brought her. David felt victorious as Rachel
finally gave into the pleasure that David was giving her. The longer they
kissed, the harder David grew and he realized then he wasn’t going to be able
to make it to the bedroom. Gripping her rear end in his hands, David lifted
Rachel and walked a few steps before David laid her onto the cool cushions of
the couch. “Wait!” Rachel said as she moved her lips from David’s.

“I can’t wait, Rachel,” David murmured from above her. “I
want you too much, I crave you.” David whispered. Rachel trembled, she was
definitely not ready to make this step yet, and she wanted them to be married
first. However, David’s charm and beauty forced Rachel to make an exception.
They were going to be married soon, and she felt so deeply about the man
already. Rachel decided to oblige David’s wish. Not wanting to waste any more
time, David reached down and pulled up the summer dress that Rachel was
wearing. It was dark in the living room, but the moonlight illuminated the room
giving David just enough light to see. The woman wasn’t as well-endowed as
Lydia was, but her body was still good enough for David.

David’s large hand cupped Rachel in between her legs and she
shivered to his touch. He rubbed a slender finger in between her legs and he
could feel that she was getting just as aroused as he was as Rachel began to
moisten.

“Ah,” Rachel let out a strangled moan. Looking up at her
face, David smirked when he noticed that she looked incredibly nervous, she was
a virgin after all. After a few moments of rubbing her, David moved the cloth
to the side and began fingering her. “Ah!” Rachel’s moan was louder that time.
David raised up then and unbuckled and unzipped his pants. He never got fully
nude when he slept with a woman; he thought that was too intimate. He reached
his hand inside of his pants and pulled his engorged cock out.  Rachel opened
her eyes to take a peek at what David was doing, but she immediately closed
them when she saw his length. She’d eventually get used to seeing a man so
intimately.

“I’m going to put it in soon,” Rachel heard David say as she
heard foil ripping open and felt David moving around her. She simply nodded her
head and waited for David to take her virginity. David wanted to be rough, to
pound her so hard into the couch that she wouldn’t be able to walk for a week.
But apparently David had some bit of humanity left in his cold body. David
entered Rachel slowly, but he planted himself deep inside of her despite the
fact that she clenched and unclenched her walls in pain. David paused, giving
her a few seconds to catch her breath and as soon as she eased around him, he
began moving.

“Ah! Ah!” Rachel moaned and wrapped her arms around David’s
neck.

“There you go, take my cock.” David whispered and Rachel’s
blush deepened. She wasn’t expecting to hear such lewd words from a man as kind
and gentle as David. “You like that?”

“Yes… yes!” Rachel said embarrassed by the sound of her own
voice. She expected her first time to be painful and horrible. This… this
pleasure that she was feeling was unbelievable. It started off uncomfortable,
but the longer it lasted, the better she felt. “Oh god,” Rachel moaned and
placed her arm over her face. Rachel was sure that she was as red as a beat and
she didn’t want David to see her like that. David chuckled and began moving
quicker inside of Rachel finding her g-spot quickly. As his length constantly
brushed against Rachel’s spot, she felt overwhelmed by a feeling that she’d
never felt before. She wanted David to stop, but she couldn’t find the words.

“You’re going to make me come,” David said and gritted his
teeth as his groans became more frequent.

“St…” Rachel barely got out her word before her head began
spinning and she started seeing white. Unconsciously, Rachel’s hips started
rising and taking David’s pumps and a scream erupted from her so loud that she
couldn’t believe that it was her that was screaming. After witnessing Rachel’s orgasm,
David was pushed over the edge and he came with a deep growl. When all was said
and done, Rachel lost consciousness and her soft breathing could be heard in
the dark room.

“Humph,” David grunted with a smirk on his face. He was
proud of his accomplishment, taking a virgin who wanted so badly to wait till
they were married before they had sex was thrilling to him.

“She lacks experience, but I guess I can accept that for
now.” David pulled out of her and stood to his feet. A decent man would have
carried her into the bedroom and put her to bed, or drape a blanket over her.
David wasn’t that kind of man though. David left her bare, uncovered, and in an
awkward position as he made his way to the bathroom to clean up.

Chapter Twelve

Daniel sat at Georgiana’s again alone, enjoying his lunch
break and reflecting on what was happening with work and in his life.

“It’s been a crazy few weeks,” Daniel murmured as he took a
sip of his coffee. Work was going smoothly with his people taking care of the
animals on the ranch to the best of their abilities. He hasn’t had to write
anyone up or even issue a warning to anyone these last few weeks. “That’s all
and dandy, but my personal life is a bit of a downer.” A month ago, Daniel’s
and David’s father dropped a bomb on them that Daniel couldn’t believe. Whoever
was the first to get married and bare Jeffery a grandchild would inherit the
family business. Daniel shook his head still bewildered by that. Being the type
of man that didn’t like to lose, David decided to go out and buy a mail order
bride. If that wasn’t crazy enough, Rachel turned out to be a lovely young lady
and Daniel couldn’t believe that her charm had him hooked.

“Here is your lunch sir,” the waiter said placing his
burrito with a special Mexican dip in front of him.

“Thank you so much,” Daniel said giving the waiter a small
smile. After the waiter had departed, Daniel lost himself in thought again.
It
really sucks that a woman like that has to be fooled into being with David.
Rachel
has been with David for two weeks and even though David appears happy when he
brings her around, Daniel knew that it was all a facade to fool their father.
“He’s going to leave her as soon as the company is his,” Daniel shook his head
and took a bite out of his burrito. Daniel’s seen Rachel a few times around the
office and when she saw him she always smiled and greeted him. Daniel wanted so
very badly to tell her of his brother’s plans, how David’s using her for the
family business and that he didn’t truly care about her, but he couldn’t. The
woman was clearly smitten with David and would not believe Daniel if he told
her out of the kindness of his heart.

“Daniel?” Daniel looked up when he heard the sound of a
gentle woman’s voice and he was surprised to see Rachel standing in front of
him!

“Rachel,” Daniel stuttered and mentally kicked himself for
being so excited. He composed himself and stood up to shake her hand. “Wow, I’m
surprised to see you here alone.” Rachel looked as beautiful as ever wearing
her signature bright sundress with a shawl wrapped around her head to keep the
sun off of her. Rachel gave Daniel a small smile and blushed.

“I’ve heard a lot of rumors about how good this place’s food
is. I asked David to come along with me, but he was too busy with his work so
he couldn’t accompany me this time. I don’t have many friends here yet, but I’m
glad that I’ve run into you. May I join you?” Daniel quickly walked over to the
empty seat in front of him and held the chair out for Rachel.

“Oh, of course,” Daniel said and Rachel gracefully sat down
in the chair and thanked Daniel for his kindness. “Don’t mention it.” Daniel
said and called over the waiter. After the waiter gave Rachel the menu, he gave
her a few minutes to decide on what she wanted to eat.

“All of this looks so good. What would you recommend,
Daniel?” Rachel asked and when her big green eyes landed on Daniel’s honey
ones, his heart melted.
She is so beautiful
, Daniel thought to himself.

“The quesadillas are to die for. I know that women really
stress over their figures, I haven’t had any of the salads, but if you enjoy
eating them I’m sure they’ll be to your liken.” Daniel said and flashed Rachel
a big smile. Rachel really liked Daniel’s company. She wasn’t drawn to him like
she was drawn to David, but she could tell that Daniel was a great man.

“Yes, I do occasionally stress over my figure, but I think I
can cheat this one time.” Rachel said and politely called the waiter back over.
She had order a chicken quesadilla with a glass of tea. Normally Daniel would
have woofed down his food, but this time he wanted to enjoy Rachel’s presence.
It’s been a while since he’d been on a date, not like this was a date or
anything like that, but he was going to give Rachel his undivided attention.

“If you don’t mind me asking, I do have a personal question
to ask you?” Rachel’s perfectly arched eyebrow went up at that, but she still
had that same pleasant smile on her face.

“Please ask away. I’d love to get to know David’s family
better.” Daniel frowned at the mention of his brother’s name. He knew that this
question was going to be bold because Daniel was pretty sure that David hadn’t
told her that Daniel knew that they met through a mail order bride agency, but
he really needed to know.

“Sorry if I appear to be intrusive, but I really would love
to hear what made you decide to be a mail order bride?” Daniel whispered his
question and Rachel’s hands shot up to her mouth.

“Oh my god, how did you find out about that? Does your
father know? I told David that I wouldn’t tell anyone about how we truly got
into contact with each other.” Daniel shook his head quickly and tried to calm
Rachel down.

“Please calm down. I found out by chance and no my father
doesn’t know and I won’t tell him because it’s not my secret, it’s yours.”
Rachel visibly relaxed then and sighed in relief.

“Thank you so much,” Rachel said and a small frown darkened
her lovely features. “My father, unfortunately, passed away and he was the only
family that I had. I didn’t work or anything and I don’t particularly have any
impressive skills and even though I have a degree I wasn’t getting any job
offers. So when a friend of mines told me that she had signed up with a mail
order bride agency and that she was going to get married, I thought I’d try my
hands at it. My father wasn’t a wealthy man and the money he left behind was
quickly running out. I didn’t want to become homeless and I felt like this was
my last resort.” Daniel listened to Rachel speak and he felt bad for initially
thinking anyone who signed up to be a mail order bride was prostituting
themselves. Rachel was a victim of circumstances. She was willing to become a companion
for someone so that she could live in exchange for her hand in marriage.

“I’m so sorry that happened to you,” Daniel said reaching
over to place his hand on top of Rachel’s. She jumped at his touch, but Rachel
didn’t pull away her hand. “I have another question for you if you do not
mind?” Daniel paused when the waiter brought Rachel her food.

“Please, don’t feel like your questions are a burden.”
Rachel said and gave him her brilliant white smile again. Daniel took in a
quick breath and then looked at his food;
I can’t let a sweet woman like her
get heartbroken
.

“How do you feel about my brother?” Daniel believed that he
already knew the answer to that question because Rachel’s eyes lit up at the
mere mention of David.

“Daniel, your brother is definitely a breath of fresh air! I
was skeptical about the whole thing when we first started emailing each other.
When we finally met face to face those short few weeks ago, it was love at
first sight! I couldn’t imagine ever meeting someone as charming and selfless
as your brother.” What Rachel told Daniel wounded his heart. The man that
Rachel described was definitely not Daniel’s real brother. The man she saw was
an actor in a performance that cast him as the main character. The real David
Marshalls was nothing like that.

“I need to tell you something, Rachel. I must tell you this
because you are too lovely of a lady to have to endure the pain that you’d
eventually receive.” Daniel said and Rachel’s eyes widened and she placed her
fork back down on the plate.

“Daniel, what are you talking about?” Rachel asked and
Daniel sighed. He hated that he was going to break such horrible news to Rachel
and he hated the fact that he was going to cause her even more pain. But Daniel
told her. Daniel told her of his father’s little competition that he’s hosting
for Daniel and David. He told her what the requirements were for obtaining
Jeffery’s company after he passes on. Daniel told Rachel that his brother never
wanted to marry anyone that he enjoyed messing around with women but he never
classified any of them as girlfriends. Daniel told Rachel who the real David
Marshalls was.

“I’m sorry. I know that all of this sounds unreal, but it’s
the truth and I have no reason to lie to you.” Daniel thought Rachel was going
to slap him from the way that she was looking. Daniel couldn’t tell if Rachel
believed him or not. One moment she’d open her mouth like she was attempting to
speak and the next moment she was closing it again.
Does she hate me now?
Daniel wondered to himself. Should Daniel have just minded his business and
allowed Rachel to ultimately get hurt, or was it a good thing that he stepped
up?

“I knew it,” Rachel said looking down at her food. That was
definitely not the response Daniel expected. He was starting to expect warm tea
splattering in his face. “It was too good to be true. David was just too
perfect that everything he said almost felt staged.” Rachel looked up at Daniel
with tears fresh in her eyes. “Thank you! Thank you so much for not letting me
experience this humiliation for another moment.” At hearing Rachel’s gratitude,
Daniel felt an enormous weight lifted from his shoulders.
