Mimi was very much looking forward to the meeting. She had been studying a picture of the scientist earlier that day, and felt an all too familiar twinge between her legs. The photo had showed a very attractive blonde, with a wide forehead and high Slavic cheekbones, beautiful cobalt-blue eyes and a sexy dimple in her chin. Who would have thought that Mimi could have been turned on to women so easily? It now seemed the most natural thing in the world for her to admire them, lust after them and fantasise over them as much as she would a man, if not more. She seemed to have taken no adverse effects whatsoever from the dramatic events that had so recently threatened her life. She could view it as some kind of frivolous sexual adventure, almost as if it were all an intricate, tantalising fantasy rather than a dangerous reality. The witch’s spells had at least protected her from the mental torments of her ordeal.

She closed her front door and set off, since she could walk very easily to her meeting. She could even wear the high heels and fishnet stockings she thought might look most alluring on her, without worrying about her feet hurting. She was considered something of a heroine in the village now, having brought to light the underhand dealings of the road developers. Many thought it a fitting reward when the Estate Trustees offered her possession of the empty cottage once leased by the fugitive witch – at a reduced rent, of course. So her job was going from strength to strength and she now had a coveted place of her own in the village. It didn’t even feel strange living in Morgana’s old house. She felt it was meant to be. Also, whenever she was there, she only needed to shut her eyes to remember with absolute clarity her first time within those walls, the time the witch first seduced her. It still made her come without fail. Memories of Morgana were to be cherished, whatever society thought of the woman.

Over on another part of the estate, in a glade within a small wood, Dr Paulina Calan stooped to view the chrysalis more closely. She closed her hand around it and eased it from the twig where it was hanging. The warmth of her hand soon brought movement. She could feel the gentle scratch of the shell as it started to break open. Only when she felt the light brush of wings on her palm did she open her fingers to view her creation.

It was a white butterfly, technically from the genus
Pieris
, but unlike any other found on these isles, since its wings were pure white, with no marks or coloration. It was as white as the skin of the girls who used to hunt in these woods, indeed as white and perfect as her own. She would christen this new species the
Priestess
butterfly, in memory of the reputed witch who once lived close by. This discovery would ensure the land could never be sold for development.

It was very early in the year for butterflies but not impossibly so. Anyway, people would accept it because they accepted anything if they thought science was behind it. It was when magic was mentioned that the scepticism started. She had been living among these trees for nine months now, using that magic, along with nature and her wits, to get her through. If Shady could do it then so could she. She had bided her time and waited for things to settle. She had thought long and hard about her new appearance but this time she thought she had it right, a look that Mimi would not be able to resist. Her chosen name wasn’t great – a quickly devised anagram of
Paculla Annia
– but it would do. It would be enough to fool Mimi; she was never one to look too deeply into things.

The bogus scientist heard the call and turned to see the smiling girl approach. Her heart leaped. This time she would make sure the girl knew her true feelings. She wouldn’t blind her with magic or confuse her with things mystical. She would try to act like a normal human being until Mimi was ready to know the whole truth. The plan was very simple: seduce the girl, become her lover, move in with her. Once back within the seat of her power her magic would blossom again. She would be supreme once more and this time she would have a lover by her side to safeguard her power. The witching could begin all over again. My, what she wouldn’t give right now for a dirty, drunken all-girl orgy!

‘You had better ring the guys at Natural England,’ she said with a big smile to the approaching Mimi. ‘I think we might have made a rather important discovery!’

Mimi loved her afternoon with the woman. She was so clever and disarmingly gorgeous, so flawless and elegant. She had the slightest hint of a foreign accent that made her seem even more exotic. She made Mimi laugh. She also made Mimi wet down below. She tried to keep things serious but she couldn’t stop her eyes wandering to that sumptuous bust with its peek-a-boo cleavage, and to the impossibly round rump stuck out at her a few times as the woman bent to inspect the undergrowth. She was the most attractive female Mimi had ever set eyes on, and she had a body to match that of a certain somebody she still very much missed. It would be way too much to hope that the feelings of attraction were mutual, especially as the woman was attentively going about her business. But then, just when they were about to part and the opportunity would be lost, the woman stepped forward and gave Mimi a very light peck on the cheek to bid her goodbye. Then she hesitated, her breath warm and sweet in Mimi’s ear, and she whispered, ‘I really want to spank your delicious fat arse.’

Mimi’s heart nearly leaped from her chest. Her legs turned to jelly. Her breath wouldn’t come and she thought she might be rendered mute and miss her golden chance. With the moment threatening to pass by, she managed to drag up the last vestiges of her composure and, her cheeks burning, her words barely audible as they came out, she said, ‘Please spank me and then fuck me. Please do it right now.’

And so, as easy as that, it all began again.
