Liha became quiet, as his words wounded her deeply. She knew as a lord he had been with many women, but to hear him admit it was like a knife through her heart.
“Then I shall now go to sleep in this chamber, and upon this bed that many have lain their heads,” she said humbly, and began to close the door.
Moved by the sadness in her words, Bayl entered the chamber and closed the door behind him; then looked over at her grandmothe
r who lay sleeping.
“
Know this; no woman will see this chamber again. In three days, I will wed you my beauty and so great is my want for you now that I swear, if I do not keep myself from you, I will seize you.”
“
You cannot walk away without at least a kiss,” she whispered, as she lifted herself onto her toes.
Their kiss tender and short in the beginning just as their others were, when Bayl put his arms around her, she didn
’t shyly pull away like she normally did, and explored his mouth with her tongue.
“
As I marched you I resisted you, but you have tempted me with that kiss, and I swear this night I will have you.”
His stare in her eyes fixed. Bayl put his hands on her breasts and coupled them, then when they slipped out of her silk bed gown; his tongue ca
ressed her nipples while he breathed heavily.
“
Oh please, my lord you must leave,” she begged, “If not I will not resist, and on the night of my wedding I will not be a virgin bride.”
“
I cannot,” Bayl said, as he swiftly lifted her and carried her out of her chamber and into his.
Wildly, he kicked open the door with his foot, then closed it the same way, and after he put her on his bed, he stared lustfully at how her deep breaths made her chest heave up and down, lifting and lowering her breasts making him
want to devour them as if exotic fruit.
“
Will you yield to me?” he asked, as with each word, a piece of his clothing fell from him.
“
I… I...” Liha stammered; before her grandmother’s words quickly came to her again.
Right away, she sprawled herself upo
n his bed; then looked up at him. His strong muscled chest bare, she found her will in such a weakened state that had he as much as ran a finger along her skin, she would have yielded to him.
“
Not once did you touch me when you could have as we marched” she whispered, “Which made you want me more. Such will you had to resist me. Only three days my lord, only three days, and I will be yours.”
Liha
now on his bed, he looked at her fighting the strong want raging within his groin; then after he rationalized what she said, he turned his head and gained control of his lust. He had already waited this long. He knew he could endure three more days.
“
Come to me,” he said, as he held out his hand; then pulled her off the bed and into his arms, “In the morning you will be fitted for your bridal gown and in two days after that, fitted to me.”
“
Will you make use of these bellars I have already heard of?” Liha, certain he had reached such an excited state that release into another would only quell, “To hold you until me.”
“
I will only make use of you my beauty,” Bayl swore, “But know well. Great is my want and it will be much that I am deep within you.”
Liha breathed a secret sigh; then left before he changed his mind, and when she back to the chamber, after she closed
the door, she put her back against it exhaling in relief.
“
You must have used your words well, to have kept him away off you,” her grandmother said, yet she did not raise her head from the pillow, “I was sure he would have you.”
“
To resist him at such a moment,” Liha said, when climbed into bed, “Nothing has ever been so hard for me to do.”

Belon waited late into the night when all was finally quiet before he went to Ogorec
’s chamber, and as he quietly sneaked inside, noticed Ogorec awake and pacing.
“
So late you come to me,” he said, angered he kept him waiting so long.
“
I tarried and tarried,” Belon whispered, “Until the right time.”
“
I have glum words,” he began revealing, as Belon closed the door behind him, “That Tohlor has made known to me.”
“
Speak it later,” Belon said, moving closer, “I have a stronger need.”
His body now pressed to Ogorec
’s, who was already naked. He put his hand on the back of his neck pulling his mouth to his hard, and as his kiss stole his breath, Ogorec decided his words of Tohlor could hold.
“
You waited naked,” Belon whispered, his heart pounding with heavy beats as he removed his clothes; then touched him, “And as I grasp your shaft I know you want more than words with me.”
“
You have been away from me a long time,” his reply, as he touched him back, “I do want more than words. I want moans.”
“
Then thrust what I hold hard into me,” Belon urged, “And make me moan.”
Ogorec moved himself backwards, as Belon moved forward; then as both lay on the bed, they held the
other close.
“
Could there be such a place for us to be as one.” Belon wished, turning onto his stomach as Ogorec gripped his shoulders and lay on him.
“
We could live in the Eldernon Mountains,” Ogorec murmured, as the tip of his shaft felt Belon’s tight grip before it slowly began its journey into him.
“
Umm,” Belon moaned pleased, the feeling even more pleasurable than fast deep thrusts. “Slow do you thrust into me, yet it stirs me even more.”
“
This night there will be no grunts or wild thrusts,” Ogorec assured him, “As is our way.”
“
I have seen a savage side of you.” Belon panted only able to speak between breaths as his pleasure rose, “Yet, if I had not, as you move inside me now, I would swear there is nothing savage about you.”
“
No more words. Not one.”
The room as if a fog had filled it
. Both sweated and moaned low and deep, then Belon felt Ogorec’s warmth spew inside him.
“
Such want I have for you,” Ogorec said quivering as he emptied, “Such want.”
“
Give me pleasure too?” Belon asked, as he moved to get onto his back to face Ogorec.
Slowly, Ogorec kissed his lips; then let his own lips travel the path down Belon
’s muscled chest and stomach. His smooth hair upon it looking graceful like a river’s current towards a lake of desire, Ogorec’s mouth traveled its course and merged into it just as a river would do and stirred the still waters to overflowing.
“
Ogorec,” Belon moaned, as a wave of desire flooded out of him into his mouth, “I swear by all I am bound only to you.”
“
You have sworn it,” Ogorec said; then vowed, “An oath I give you. There will be no other.”
Well pleased and breathing heavily, Belon put his hands behind his hea
d.
“
Let us try to sleep,” he whispered, “I must rise and leave soon.”
“
I will, but first.” Ogorec remembered, “I must speak of Tohlor.”
“
If you must,” his reply now ready to hear it.
“
In the lowlands, he saw you and has set his mind to take your place by shaming you,” Ogorec revealed quickly.
“
Did he see you?”
“
He tried, but could not.”
“
Good.”
“
I lied that I would speak to Lord Baric of it,” Ogorec said, “It will gain us time as Lord Baric heals, but I do not believe it will hold him long.”
“
Hold him as long as you can,” Belon suggested, as loathing rose within him, “So that I may reason how to deal with him.”
“
I reasoned that as well,” Ogorec agreed; then closed his eyes to sleep for a while with Belon before he had to sneak away.

His want for her great, Bayl set his mind not to see Liha at all after the sunset certain that, as the moon changed the mood of animals, it would change him and like an animal, he would seize her ignoring any words she spoke to try to stop him.
Liha
’s want for Bayl just as great, she begged for three days to pass with haste, and on the day of her wedding, she flew out of bed, as if an eagle had lifted her.
Quickly, just as the sun peaked, many rushed into her chamber to dress her and tie her hair, and such was
everyone scampering about, she could hardly move.
“
Grandmother,” Liha whispered, as she stood beside her, “After this day, we will be apart.”
“
As it should be,” her grandmother said wisely and smiled, “You will belong to your husband and with him you will live your life.”
“
And you grandmother…” she asked, “What will you do with your time?”
“
Worry not for me,” she answered, “Lord Bayl has seen to my well being and already I have my own dwelling.”
“
In WorrlgenHall?”
“
I asked not to live within its walls,” her grandmother answered, pausing briefly when heavy footsteps passed the door; then down the stairs, “I will live in a cottage made for me on the grounds, but enough of this. Heavy steps just passed that I believe was Lord Bayl. The time is near.”
“
Any words of wisdom?”
“
Love him and be loyal,” her grandmother’s advice, before she gave her a loving kiss on her forehead, “And heed well all you have learned over the days of your life.”
Just as many scampered about for Liha, so went for Seda, but as queen, she got more attention.
Her wedding gown weighing more, and her crown larger, her attendants had fashion her hair flat on top and plate it at the bottom so the crown would rest better on her head.
“
Do not look at the king,” Asod tutored her for ceremony as she dressed, “Until all is done.”
“
My queen,” one woman already called her, which startled Seda when she heard it, “If you would stand, I will place your dress on you.”
Seda stood; then held her arms forward so the women could slide her arms into the sleeves, which extended pass her fingers and flared, then the women tied decorated cords around her wrists
.
Her dress, a whole one made of linen and woven cloth dark green and adorned with gold embroidered designs that needed no great undertaking to put on or remove, she slide into easily and immediately two women closed it by lacing together its threads from
her neck to the small of her back.
Two others placed gold earrings in her ears and gold ringlets on wrists, while two more put on her shoes, and while they did Asod walked into the room again.
“I fear I cannot walk in this gown,” Seda said, as she straightened her back to help support it, “It is heavy and fitted close to me.”
“
You will carry your gown well I know.”
A small reassuring smile from Seda, she looked down at her gown; then felt the raised embroidery on it, “
Never have I been so afraid, yet longing for one thing.”
Asod looked at Seda pleased. “
He will wait for you and when you join him put your hand onto of his.”
“
Yes,” Seda said, as she listened carefully.
“
Is it our custom to give the other something held dear to him,” more words of ceremony, “And what is more dear than one’s own blood? The priest will pierce your fingers and your blood with drip into a cup of wine for both of you to drink from.”
“
Blood?”
“
It is an old custom.”
“
How will I know when the ceremony is done?”
“
The king will wear his three ringed bronze and gold crown and once you have the crown that he had fitted to you placed on your head, you will be queen.”
Once
fully dressed, she took a deep inhaling stiffening breath; then walked towards her chamber door.
“
You have the look of a queen,” Asod said, as he nodded his head before she passed its threshold.
The day early as the sun shined bright, inside the large stoned huge church walls, only small beams of light found its way through the crude mo
saic of saints that adorned the small glass windows.
The two unknown to the other, both smiled, as Seda and Liha stood side by side and waited for the chanting from the
priests inside to begin; then as their voices sang out, when the doors swung open, Liha who was to go first, slowly made her way down the row of candles that lit her path.
