Serenity:
Some things are withheld 4 a reason. This is one of them
.

Mel:
Can u
pls
give me some
idea of how long I will have 2 wait
4
him
?
I
t
s
driving me crazy
.

There was a lengthy pause and she watched the seconds tick over in dismay.
Finally a reply
popped up.

Serenity:
I understand your frustration.
I can only tell u 2 b
patient. This is one of your life lesson
s that must be learnt before u
can move on.
I
s a karmic debt from a past
life.

That made a lot of sense.
She had always struggled with patience
,
and i
f this was a life lesson then who was she to argue?

Mel:
Okay
thnx

Serenity:
No worries.
Rest assured
,
t
he operation will be a success.

Mel:
What?
??

Serenity:
Sorry Tom
, my guides got their wires crossed!
Yes t
he house is haunted.
Ghost angry & dangerous.
U
will need to ge
t an exorcist. I
can help u
with this
.

Melanie’s
suspicions were suddenly on full alert
.

Mel:
R u
answering other
people’s questions while talking 2
me?

There was another lengthy pause and her anger grew.

Serenity:
I am blessed with ability 2
read multiple people at
the same
time. It is
a gift and I use it 2
the best of my ability.

What a crock of shit
.
Eve
n
she
cou
ld not
buy that
!

Mel:
As u charge per minute people assume they r
getting individual attention
. I’m putting this on every psychic review site & noticeboard I can find.
Unbelievable
!

This time Serenity’s response came back quickly.

Serenity:
So sorry if I’ve offended u
Mel
:
(  To make it up I will give u a free reading 2nite
.

Melanie’
s anger abated a little
. A free reading was nothing to be sneezed at
,
and now that she had something over Serenity
,
she could pump her for as much information as she could about Greg.
Serenity
had already proven she was
gifted, so did it really matter if she was reading more than one person
at a time
?

Mel:
Ok. When?

Serenity:

Mel:
I’ll be waiting

Four hours later
Melanie was still sitting
in front of her laptop when Serenity’s message popped up.

Serenity:
Hi Mel.
So sorry about the mix up earlier.
No hard feelings?

Mel:
I was disappointed
but glad u want 2
ma
ke it up. Would hate to give u a bad review

Serenity:
Let’
s get started. I sense
d
issatisfaction in your life. U
a
re
anxious 4 things 2
change.
My guides are telling me u need 2
trust
yourself more, listen to your intuition and it will point you in the right direction.

This
was no
help. She had not spent so much money on psychics ju
st to be told
that she did not really need them
after all
.

Mel:
Can u
pls
b
more specific?

Serenity:
Stop looking outside yours
elf for answers.
The answers r
within.
Live in the
moment,
let the future take care of itself.

Mel:
What about Greg?

Serenity:
I can only share what I’ve bee
n given. They are telling me u
are
lonely
.

Mel:
N
ot 4
much longer
according to u

Serenity:
U
need
to get out
more. U r 2
yo
un
g to be sitting home alone on a Sat
urday
ni
t
e. You must get out there &
grab life by both hands. Make things
happen. Don’t wait for
them
2 come 2 you or life will pass u by
.

Now this was getting confusing.

Mel:
U told me not 2
do any
thing, 2
just wait and
b patient &
everything
would
happen when the time was right?

There was yet an
other extended pause
,
and Melanie’s
tempe
r began to flare again. It seemed
Serenity was still playing the same games
.

Serenity:
Sometimes the messages r
conflicting, but in paradox we often find great wisdom. Rest assured
,
Greg will soon be yours.

That
was
profound
and very true
. As long as she knew that Greg was in her future she really did not mind how long Serenity took to reply. The reading was free after all
.

Mel:
Thnx
. What else do u c
?

The rest of the reading consisted mainly of generalizations ab
out
empowering herself
to take control of her own life
, but she had found out what she needed to know.

Serenity:
H
ope t
his has been of help 2 u Mel
.

Mel:
Yes
.
So
glad to know Greg and
I will be together soon.

She was about to log off and head
to bed when to her surprise another message popped up from Serenity.

Serenity:
What r u
doing now?

Mel
:
?

Serenity:
I
have no readings
so we
can chat 4
a bit longer if u
want.
Off the cloc

.

This was unusual, but
she was not very tired
,
and
with any luck
she might get some more free informa
tion about Greg
.

Mel:

Serenity:

Mel:
Sure. How lon

?

Serenity:

to talk about work

Mel:

do
u
want to talk about?

Serenity:
Seen any good movies lately?

Mel:
Yes! Saw Tears

Mel:
It had a

.

Serenity:
M
ight give it a go then. What about Hell
On
Wheels III? Just came out. F
irst two rocked
,
but this one was best.

I
t was an unusual choice for a middle-a
ge
d woman, but each to their own, thought Melanie.

Mel:
My ex loved those movies
.

Serenity:
He had good taste. What happened?

Mel:
T
hought you’d seen them?

Serenity:
With your ex
.

Mel:
Duh
. Just didn’t work out. U
should know that.

Serenity:
I’m
psychic, not g
od. C
an see he wasn’t right for you
though
.

Mel:
That’s
4
sure. He was nothing like Greg.

There was a long pause
,
and Melanie hoped
it was because
Serenity was getting some messages f
rom her guides about Greg. To her disappointment
,
s
he did not mention anything about him when she returned.

Serenity:
Do u
wanna
go and hang out in the games
room 4
a while?

Mel:
Sure

By the time
Melanie got off her laptop
it was almost two
o’clock in
the morning. She had spent most of
that time chatting with Serenity and playin
g interactive games.
Serenity had continued to give readings and answer questions over that time, and Melanie felt a bit guilty
about her role in this deception
when just a few hours
earlier she’d been on the other end of it
.

Serenity was really
good
at all
the games
, and
she had to concentrate hard to keep up with her. This helped her to ignore the fact that she was now Serenity’s accomplice in crime. Despite her best efforts
,
Serenity still
beat
her at
everything
except a simple word game
. She obviously spent a lot of time on the internet
and had really honed her
skills. She had not given her any
more information about Greg, but Melanie did not mind too much as she’d had a lot of fun.
