“Besides, we never been to London, and you know I love the UK,” Liz  says thinking about how will it all be.

“That’s true. I didn’t expect Levi to do this but he did it, so, we need to get ready. Where is Ashley? We need to go to the gym in like, half an hour.” I take another sip of water and then go to the bathroom. After I go change into my gym gear and as I take a bottle of water from the fringe, I hear Ashley’s voice. She’s home, at last. Lola and Liz tell her all what happened and I must say she looks pretty happy too.

“Alice, dear, answer me this question. Why didn’t you tell us about this rich guy that was fallen for you?” She asks me with a smile while I close my laptop. I turn my eyes to her and confess that I didn’t know he liked me so much to do such a think.

“Maybe he doesn’t. A guy with a car like that can afford to sweep every girl he moderately likes of her feet with his money. I’m telling you, maybe all this is to get into your panties and then leave,” says Ashley looking me in the eyes. She is serious. Of all I know, she may be right, but at this moment I can’t tell exactly. Nonetheless, I will not expect much.

After this conversation, I went to the gym and then I got myself ready for the event of tomorrow. In the evening I packed and that was all. The next day I got up at 6 AM and at 7 AM Levi and his brother arrived at our place. Of course, none of us were ready but we manage to leave at 7:20. Levi’s brother is actually a nice guy, of what I can tell. He came with another car, an SUV, and I didn’t have to much time to chat, we are in a hurry after all. He took Lola and Liz and I with Ash went with Levi. Of what I have seen, Oliver is younger than Levi, but he looks more grounded than his brother. Black hair with green eyes, pretty tall and fit, what can you ask more. I stare at the road for a while and then ask Levi how many days we will stay in London. One, two.

“A week, if you want,” says Levi not moving his eyes of the road. He looks calm and concentrated, just like when he writes. I like him this way.

“Liz would love to stay that much, but I don’t think it’s a good idea. I mean, it’s not OK to spend your money on us. I feel bad about it. Ash, what do you say, am I right?” I ask the leader of our house, the oldest of all of us, and I must say, the smartest. She looks like a dumb blonde, but you can’t be more wrong.

“Levi, I have a question but I can’t find the proper answer. Maybe you can help. Why are you doing all this? To what end?” she asks with no sweet words whatsoever. That’s Ashley for you, blunt when it comes to questions.

“Actually, it’s a long story, a sad one I must add, but I assure you that it’s not that big of a deal what I’m doing now. It runs in the family, being generous to the people you like. For example, this car was given to me as a gift by my uncle who at the moment is in the hospital. He had an accident and I don’t think he will make it. Me and my family can only pray now for his recovery and what I’m doing now with you guys is just a small token of what my uncle has done for me. I feel that I must take his place for I was the closest to him of all my relatives. His wife is dead and he has no children, so I was like a son to him. Is that a good enough answer for you?” Levi finishes his explanation. I can’t see his eyes for they are covered by his Ray Ban sun glasses but I’m sure you could feel the sadness emanating from them.

“I’m sorry Levi, for your uncle and the pain you are going through. I didn’t want to sadden you are further. I completely understand why you are doing this and I think it’s wonderful to keep your uncles good habit.” Ash is really moved by what Levi said and I am too. After this, silence falls over us. We arrive at the airport after half an hour. The traffic was terrible. We fly at first class. As you can expect, the flight was way better than the second class, but I couldn't rest at all. As always the Heathrow Airport is packed and it takes us a while to exit it. The hotel Levi chose is awesome, excellent services. As soon as we get inside I take a hot shower, washing away the evil, as I like to call it. After I’m done I feel much better, so good in fact that I fall asleep immediately. When I wake up its 6 PM, everybody is getting ready for the event.

“Look, the Sleeping Beauty woke up. Isn't she a wonder to the eye!” says Lola grinning at me. She's trying a new dress that I think she bought today. It shows a lot if skin as you can expect.

“Alice, I got you a dress as well. It’s here, look, do you like it?” Liz raises up a blue dress with no back and pretty short. It’s similar to that of Lola but a little bit more decent. I like it actually.

“Let me see it, Liz. Yea, it’s nice, thanks.” I hug Liz for a second and after that I try the dress. It is perfect fit. Liz always knows what to buy me. She got an eye for this kind of stuff. Taking the dress off, I eat something light and start doing my makeup. At 7 PM we are ready to go. All of us look dashing, like movie stars. The guys, Levi and Oliver are off the charts with their overly expensive suits. We get into the limo that Oliver rented, everybody being a little too energetic for my taste. We arrive at the intended place at 7:20. Of course the champagne was

already opened in the car. If I think about all this for a second, I realize that I don’t even know why are we really celebrating, I mean why is Levi’s brother having such a big party. It’s crazy if you ask me, how we got in this situation. We get out of the car and head to the entrance. There Levi and his brother are warmly welcomed and so are we. All because we are with them, I’m sure. Anyway this place is huge and there must be at least 200 people in this room. I wonder how many of them really know the host. Less than 100 if I needed to bet. Walking around, eyes start to look at us, like we are some kind of attraction.

“Why are they looking at us? I ask Levi with a low voice.

“It’s because you girls are gorgeous and as you can see, middle and old men like young fresh women just like you,” he says grinning at me. I lightly scold him for saying such words. I start to giggle and Lola gets close to me asking why I am so happy. I play it dumb, avoiding to answer. After ten more minutes of small talk with random people, the host of this party, Levi’s brother appears and all the guests lower their voices. He looks pretty young, around 30 years, black hair, black eyes, dark tan and a strong voice that echoes throughout the room.

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my party. It’s lovely to see so many known faces, happy faces for that matter.” The crowd starts laughing and Levi grabs my hand out of the blue. I guess it’s ok, so I affirm his grip.

“This night we celebrate our victory over the hardships of life, our will of iron that never broke under any pressure and of course our deep bound of friendship that lasted so many years. I wish to mention that without the help, guidance and trust of my family, I would never be here today and all of you wouldn’t be standing before me enjoying this great night. As you all know, two of my family members are on the brink of death and only God can save them now. I am in grief, of course, but today we are all happy in their honor and as we sit here hoping for the best so are they praying for us and our continuity. So I ask of you kind people for a moment of silence. Thank you, but as the old is dying the new is thriving. My brothers are of course here tonight, let me see, Levi where are you little brother, oh, there you are, come join me.”

Levi starts walking towards the small stage. He grabs the mic from his brother and smiles at the audience. He is actually beautiful. A welcoming round of claps ring throughout the big ball room.

“Hello everybody, nice to see you all here tonight supporting my family and the collaboration of the four great companies that are represented at this moment by the young but strong Samuel Noble, that is standing before your eyes in all his might,” says Levi with a loud voice. His brother puts a hand on his shoulder, being modest about it.

After five minutes of dramatic talking, the speeches end and Levi resumes his place at my side, but his brother shortly joins us.

“Levi, you devil, who is this angel that stands before my eyes. Nice to meet you dear, I’m Samuel.”

“I’m Alice, Alice Morgan, nice to meet you too,” I give him a big smile showing my white teeth. He does the same. He looks different than his younger brothers, more mature and grounded.

“I hope you are having a great time tonight. Tell me, where was my brother meet you? You know what, you look so mysterious, I am mesmerized by your wonderful aura that we need to talk leisurely. How about we three have lunch tomorrow. But first I want to introduce you to some fine gentlemen. Come!” Levi’s brother sure talks a lot and does not seem to like to be interrupted.

“Sounds good,” says Levi looking at me. I nod and we follow him.

“Alice, I want you to meet Mr. White, Mr. Smith and Mr. Evans. These three gentlemen are the pillars of the community,” says Samuel putting his hand on my shoulder, giving me courage.

“Nice too meet you all fine gentlemen. I’m sure Samuel had a lot to learn from your experience,” I say smiling at them. They have their eyes staring at me with great interest. I wonder why are they so captivated by me.

“Look at her, Mr. White, the new generation is getting more glorious by the year. It’s like life is playing a joke on us, the old and dying.”

They start laughing, enjoying themselves in their own world, like all the rich old people. I’m getting bored of them already. Of course, Levi observes my annoyance and ends the conversation short. Thank God it’s over.

Samuel leaves us alone and we return to the rest of the group. A couple of hours later we are back at the hotel, tired. I fall asleep thinking of all the stuff that happened today.

It’s 2 PM in London; all seems beautiful on this Sunday. Levi and I walk among the people of the city, in our way to see Samuel.

“Levi here doesn’t tell me anything about his personal life so I don’t know how the two of you meet. Alice dear, shed some light for I’m always in the dark when it comes to my little brother,” says Samuel grabbing my hand. I think for a second and then I explain the circumstances of our encounter. He looks at me without taking his eyes of my face, absorbed in what I have to say.

“Sorry about this, but I need to be in New York a couple of hours earlier. By the way, you don’t seem to know but today is Levi’s birthday. I forgot as well. Look, here are the keys to my sweet as an apology. Have fun you two and see you another time, Alice. It was wonderful to meet you.” He takes off in his Maybach. I turn around and confront Levi.

“Why didn’t you tell me it was your birthday today? You don’t like bdays or what. I don’t get it.”

“It’s not like that, but the fact is this: my mother died six years ago, on this very day, my birthday. So I don’t like to celebrate with no one. I hate this day.”

“Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, I didn’t know thinks were like this. It’s pretty crazy if you ask me for your parents to die on the day of your birth.”

“Yea, it’s ok, I got used to it. I just ignore it and that’s all,” his voice low and sad.

“Let’s cheer up, don’t be so down. Let’s visit some places, do some stuff, it’s your bday after all. Come, come.” I grab his hand and take him outside. I look around and see the Big Ben in the distance. I point at it and Levi shrugs his shoulders. I ignore him and drag him in the direction of the intended place. After a while he finally gets happier, actually enjoying our time spend together, and before you know it it’s getting dark. We go at a fancy place to eat for I for one am starving and I’m sure Levi is too. Now, as we eat I can see that his face lost the tension present during the day. I’m happy that I meet him, troubled as he is by all his problems, he still finds time for new people. As we finish eating I remember that Samuel gave me the key to his sweet.

“Levi, I have the key to your brothers’ suite, do you want to go there or is there anything else you want to do?” I ask him with a shy smile. He grabs my hand with the key and gently squeezes it.

“Let’s go inside. I’m tired.” He starts walking in the direction of the hotel, not letting go of my hand this whole time. As we get into the elevator, Levi closes his eyes and enters a state of meditation, of what I can tell. I smirk for a second and then I too close my eyes trying to envision the same things as him. Two minutes later we are in front of the door. I get the key and as I reach to introduce it Levi comes from behind, his hands wrapped around my waist and helps me open the door. After we make two steps, he suddenly and slowly kisses my neck, giving me goose bumps. He puts his hand in my hair and gently pulling it to one side I move my head in his direction. He leans over me, backing me against the wall and begins kissing me. I embrace his lips with mine, letting myself victim to his attack. After what it seems an eternity of pleasure, he takes a step back, takes his shirt off, revealing his amazing physique. Grabbing my hand, he guides me to the bedroom and as we reach the huge bed he lets himself fall on it, making me drop on him. In a slow motion I take my top off, gently rubbing my hips on his. As he is sitting with his back deep into the mattress, he pulls me closer to him. He starts kissing my abdomen, his hands working on the bra. With a swift move from him I remain naked, my breasts being caressed by his soft hands. He grabs one of my nipples with his fingertips and the other with his mouth, both exploding with pleasure from his touch. I let my head fall backwards, giving my body to him. From my breasts he moves once more to my neck and then my mouth pressing me over him, being able to fill his abs and chest. I grab his hair with one hand and the other a take control of his jaw. After doing that, he slightly rises from the bed and using his power, we instantly switch places. Now he is on top, having all the control. He moves away from me, but in the same time, he takes my pants with him. All that is let on me are my panties that he slowly takes off. I’m completely naked before him and my excitement is through the roof. With small kisses, he makes his way to my intimate zone. As he reaches it, I explode with pleasure. His tongue is amazing, hitting my every essential spot. Squeezing the linens with one hand and grabbing his hair with the other, I let myself in his absolute rule. Being bombarded with delight, I lose my patience and articulate five words:
