Chapter 18

Ayce

Since Ava hadn't bothered to call me almost all day, I decided to go to her. I didn't know if she was at her house or not, but I figured I would start there. When I pulled into the driveway I saw a car I had never seen before. Whoever car it was would need four new tires. I could see Ava's car parked in front of that car, so I knew she was home. I walked up to the door and knocked on it. It took a while for someone to answer it, but it wasn't Ava, it was Ashley. I knew Ashley from school. She transferred to our school from some school in Compton and she and Ava became good friends, but I wasn't in their mix like that.

“What's up Ayce,” she said opening the door wider for me to walk in.

“What's good, where is Ava?”

“She’s in the bathroom.”

“Is that your Nissan out there?”

“Yeah?”

“All four of your tires are flat.”

She ran out the door to access the damage before she got on the phone.

I walked over to the bathroom and listened for a minute. If she was puking again I didn't want to see that shit.

“Shit, shit, shit,” I heard her yell, so I started knocking on the door.

“Stop banging on my damn doors like that,” she said as she opened the door, but my eyes were focused on what was in her hand.  I didn't ask no questions, just grabbed the test out of her hand. Looking down at the test I saw it read ‘Pregnant’. I looked at her and then back to the test. I hadn't planned on being a father right now, but I was excited.

“I’mma be a daddy. You see this shit?” I said showing her the test.

I grabbed her and held her close to me.

“Baby, I promise you, you and my child are taken care of and not because Duce your daddy, but because I'm your man and that's my seed you carrying.”

I looked down at her, but she didn't look too happy.

“What's wrong baby, why you look so disappointed?”

She walked by me and into the kitchen and up the stairs. I followed behind her and sat on the edge of her bed.

“I'm not disappointed, just in shock,” she said rubbing her flat stomach.

I pulled her on my lap and put my hands over hers.

“Since you’re going to be a mother now, we need to talk about some things.”

“I'm only two minutes pregnant and I knew we were going to have this talk. Not now, I don't want to talk about it right now,” she said moving off my lap.

I just sat and looked at her. I could give a fuck about her wanting to run the streets, she was going to be a mother now and it’s time for her to calm that shit down.

“Fine, we'll talk about it later, but while you are carrying my seed you need to sit yo’ ass down and chill out,” I said walking over to her.

“And that's not up for discussion.” I watched her as she sat in stood there with her arms crossed over her chest, pouting like a big ass baby.

I can admit I was excited and scared at the same time, but I just want to do right by my family. I was going to start by taking them to get some food.

“We ain't been out in a while, let's go get something to eat because I'm starving and since you don't cook, I have to eat somewhere, right?” I said laughing.

“Ha, ha, I am hungry as hell too, but I don't know if I can keep it down.”

“You can't starve the baby, so get dressed and let’s go.”

I sat on the couch and waited for Ava to shower and get ready. Flicking on the TV, I started watching
Best Man Holiday
and laughed to myself that this was my life right now. When the movie was going off Ava finally came downstairs, wearing a yellow dress that fit her curves like a glove. Seeing her in the dress almost made me forget about my stomach being empty.

“Why you just sitting there, I thought you were hungry?”

“I'm trying to get my dick to go down if you don't mind.”

“Boy let's go before I change my mind,” she said putting her hands on her hips.

I turned the TV off and we left out the house.

“I wonder where Ash went.”

“All this time that went by, you’re just wondering about Ash? Some friend you are.”

“Nigga shut up.”

“She must have pissed someone off because when I pulled up, all four of her tires were slashed.”

“OMG, for real? And you’re just now telling me?” she said pulling out her phone looking around for Ashley. But she was gone and so was her car. I opened the passenger door for Ava while she talked on the phone to Ashley.

“She okay?” I asked getting into the car.

“Yeah, that bitch Jasmine did that shit, I know she did. But she called Jerome and he brought her four new tires in less than ten minutes, so she’s out looking for her friend now.”

I didn't know what was going on with them, all I know is that she better not get involved in whatever it is. We pulled up at Five Guys as my stomach growled again.

“What the fuck is this?” Ava asked with an attitude.

“You can't read now, we at Five Guys.”

“This is what you meant by going out to eat?”

“We out and we about to eat, well at least I am. If you don't want it your spoiled ass can sit in the car, but I am about to eat.”

I got out the car and went to let her out.

“Awww, you mad? I promise you won't be disappointed, these burgers bang.”

We went in and I ordered two burgers, two fries with two large drinks. Sitting down with our food, I watched as she took her first bite.

“Mmmmmmmmmm, this burger bangs.”

“I knew you would like it.”

After we ate, we drove to the lake to watch the sunset.

We stood at the pier and I wrapped my arms around her waist, placing my hands on her stomach. Turning her towards me, I kissed her lips while my hands roamed her body. She put her hands down my pants and rubbed my dick.

I took her by the hand and led her back to the car. I must have drove 100 miles per hour because we got back to her house in less than fifteen minutes.

Entering her house, I pulled her dress off of her body. Licking my lips, I kissed her lips again while she undressed me. I followed her into the living room and she sat me on the couch. My dick was hard as fuck and I couldn’t wait anymore. I grabbed her and sat her on my lap, entering her wetness in one motion.

“Shit,” she moaned as she worked her hips. I grabbed her ass as she rode my dick slowly.

“Come on baby, get this shit,” I said as I smacked her ass. She picked up her pace and I bounced her up and down on from up under her.

“I'm about to cum Ayce, I'm about to cum.”

I pulled my dick out of her and turned her around so I could look into her eyes, while I fed her pussy this dick. Her titties bounced in my face and I pushed them together while I sucked on them.

“Oh Ayce, Ayce, Ayce. I'mmmmmmmmm cucucuummmmmmmmming.”

On the brink of my own orgasm, I stroked her pussy harder until I spilled my seeds inside her.

“I love you Ava.”

“I love you too,” she said as she placed her head on my shoulder.

Chapter 19

Ric

For the past five months, I have been occupied by this bad ass female by the name of Mia. I mean she is cold as hell. She looks exactly like Megan Good, lips and all. It’s funny ‘cause I ain't never been one to sweat a bitch, but this shorty had me sweating for real. She came out of nowhere, almost like it was planned. I was pulling out of the casino one night and she was pulling up on the side of the road, out of gas of course. Females, for some reason, keep their tank on ‘E’. When I first seen her she looked so familiar to me, but I couldn't place her at the moment. I took her to get some gas, followed her back to the gas station and filled her tank up. We exchanged numbers, but I didn't hear from her from her for a while so I called her, we hooked up and have been kicking it ever since. Today we were chillin’ at my house just talking, trying to decide what to get into for the day.

“You've been through so much as a man, but look at you… a boss at his finest.”

“I wouldn't say all that, I still have someone to report to.”

“Why is that, I mean you ever thought about taking over?”

“What you mean by that?” I asked looking at her sideways.

“Have you ever thought about taking your boss out and running shit yourself?”

“Hell naw. No need to because I got everything I could ever want or need.”

“So you’re happy with that? I mean, your boss, he trusts you right, so you know pretty much everything that goes on. I bet you even know who the connect is.”

I sat in my chair puffing on a blunt, thinking about what this broad was talking about. It's all a bunch of bull and a sure way to have my ass somewhere dead.

“Yeah, I know all that, but I'm good with the position I play.”

“What if I told you I know somebody that can help you take over this shit? I know people, all you have to do is trust me.”

“Yo, you trippin’ for real. I don't want to talk about this shit,” I said pulling her close to me. “I thought we were supposed to be stepping out, not planning a hostile takeover. Or you can bend over and give me some of that ass.”

“Oh, I see now. You cool being a street flunkey huh, ain't got what it takes to be a boss for real right?” she said laughing in my face like something was funny.

“Mark ass nigga, I should've known you ain't had what it takes to take Duce down.”

“Hold the fuck up,” I said grabbing her by her arm. “How the fuck you know who I work for?”

She stood there looking at me with a look of fear in her eyes.

“Bitch, answer me. How the fuck you know who I work for? You trying to set a nigga up or something?”

“No, nothing like that. Just thought you wanted more than what you have.”

“Yo’ ass lying because I ain't never said anything about Duce.”

“I just assumed you work for him because I always see you at the casino.”

I looked at her real hard and let her arm go. All this time I been fucking around with her, thinking she may even be the one and this bitch dizzy as hell.

“You know what, get the fuck outta my house. I can't even roll with you no more because you can't be trusted.”

“What, just like that? I start talking about making power moves and you bitch up and put me out? You know what nigga, fuck you!”

“Talking like that, the only moves you making is going to have us murked. Do you know who the fuck Duce is, how far his reach is? Do you?”

“Oh, so you scared of the nigga?”

“No, but why start shit when shit is good? What sense does that make? Duce has always looked out for me and I would never cross him.”

“If you and Duce so good why do I know who you are, but you don't know who I am?”

“The fuck you talking about? All I need to know about Duce is how to keep getting this money, nothing else matters.”

“Not even the fact that you’ve been fucking his wife.”

I stood there for a least five minutes just looking at her. Did she just say she’s married to Duce??

“Shit!” I yelled as I hit the wall.

“Baby listen,” she said as she tried to rub my back.

“Don't touch me, don't fuckin’ touch me.”

“What's done is done Ric. Now I need you. I need to know who his connect is. With or without you Duce is going down, so whose side are you going to be on?”

“I don't want no parts of whatever you have planned,” I said walking towards her.

“Ok, so I go tell Duce what's been going on with us. What you think he’s going to do?” she said as she took her clothes off.

I was in a fucked up situation all because of some wet pussy and a vengeful bitch.

“Why is it so important to take Duce down?”

“I have my reasons, but you let me worry about that, I just need the connect.”

She unzipped my jeans, pulled my dick out my boxers and wrapped her lips around my dick.

I leaned on the wall and let out a long moan. There was no doubt in my mind Duce may kill me for this one, but I was going to holla at Duce anyway.

Chapter 20

Maurice

I've been out about four months after doing almost five years, and couldn't enjoy my freedom like I planned because I had to remain on the low. Mia still hadn't got the information we needed to take back what is ours, and my patience was growing thin. She told me to just give her a little bit longer, and that shit has turned into another whole month.

I sat in this little ass blue Chevy Storm with the only other person who knew I was out, Lynx.

“Nigga, how yo’ big ass squeeze in this little ass car?” I asked trying to get comfortable without spilling my drank.

“It's a science,” he said laughing.

Lynx was my nigga. We used to run the streets getting hella money until the punk ass police locked me up. He came to see me in lock up one time, and I told him to keep me updated on what Ava was up to. I always had a thing for Ava, even before Ayce had her. She was sexy as hell and her being hood smart had a nigga thinking about some Bonnie and Clyde shit. I knew she was going to be my wife one day, but shit didn't go the way I planned it. I got a bad temper and she said some fucked up shit to me one day and I blacked out. I beat her so bad she didn't leave the house for a week. I apologized to her over and over, promised I would never do it again, but she wasn't having it. Not too long after that, I was locked up and never really got the chance to try again. From what I hear, she has been hoeing around the hood, acting like a straight set out, until she hooked back up with Ayce. Ayce and I used to be tight, but I choose pussy over a nigga any day.

“What's good, did you get Ava’s number for me?” I asked finally getting comfortable.

“Yeah I got that, but she’s pregnant.”

“Damn,” I said taking a sip of my drank and putting Ava's number in my phone. She was supposed to be carrying my seed, not that lame ass nigga Ayce's.  Ayce was all about school and having a career. He ain't like me and Ava; for me and Ava, the streets were our career. The streets ran through our blood and we would forever be loyal to that. Ayce didn't know what to do with her, he just wanted to try to tame her, but I know for a fact she is untamable. That's what led her to me in the first place. If I could just talk to her, I know I could get her back now. Especially after Duce is gone, we can run this together.

I couldn't hide the fact that, that shit didn't fuck with me, but I wasn't going to sweat it too long because we are going to be together, baby or not.

I sat and finished my drink while Lynx talked on his phone.

“I know someone who can get Ayce out the way.”

“Who?”

“This chick I met at the bar a while back. She’s sexy as hell and kind of reminds me of Reagan Gomez. So, we leave the bar, I think I'm about to get my dick wet and when I get her to my place, all she talks about is Ayce and how much she hates Ava. This bitch even went to the police trying to pin a body on Ava. I know Ava has dropped some bodies, but she didn't drop that one. I told her she needs to chill out on that snitching shit, but she don't care. All she wants is Ayce. I think she’s crazy as hell and needs to be evaluated. I was never trying to end up in the friend zone, but I figured we can use her for something one day.”

“Oh yeah, what's her name?”

“Remy.”

“Aw shit, that nigga hooked up with Remy?” I said shaking my head.

“What?”

“Remy always had a thing for Ayce, but that bitch is certified crazy when it comes to Ayce. I'm surprised he gave her the time of day. I know we can use her. I need to meet up with her somewhere soon.”

“Ain't you supposed to be laying low? If Duce sees you, you know you dead nigga.”

“I ain't worried about that nigga. His days are numbered. I need my queen and if I need to come out of hiding to get her, I will. Holla at me when you set that up,” I said getting out of the car and going back into the house.

I had been staying with my mother since I’ve been home. One thing I had missed the hell out of was her cooking, but I couldn't wait to get back on my feet. My mother only had a two-bedroom apartment and since Jasmine and her kids are here, I had to sleep on the couch which after being in prison for five years, I didn't look forward to.

I tried to call Mia for the fifth time today, still not getting an answer. I know she’s ducking because she knows she fucked up. I sat on the couch and looked at the number Lynx gave me and decided to call Ava.
