“Yes, Master.” Wriggling again, she nibbled his earlobe, loving his salty taste.

“Oh yeah, I want to prove it very much.” Lifting himself high over her, he made a powerful thrust, filling her to her core, igniting flames in her belly.

On fire for him, she met him thrust for thrust, her hips thrashing in ancient rhythm, her body singing as if it had just been resurrected.

He worshipped her with his eyes, lips, and hands, caressing her as if she was the most cherished woman in the universe.

She felt like she was floating and when she opened her eyes, she was stunned to see that they were hovering high above the bed, close enough to touch the ceiling. And yet their suspended state didn’t lessen in any way the force of their drive. If they could make love floating in her bedroom, why not in the clouds or in space?

Curious, she blinked them onto a fluffy white cloud over the Caribbean. Bright sunlight showered them as they lay atop a fluffy bed of cotton. “Have you ever seen anything so spectacular?”

Mark’s gaze adored her, making her quiver. A smile played around his lips. “You. You’re even more beautiful now than before I was sent away.”

Glowing inside, her body trembling at his nearness, she tried to remember if he’d been so charismatic before. He’d always been a charmer who made her heart sing, but not this gloriously.

“I wanted to give you the heavens.” A note of pathos rang in Mark’s sultry voice.
His kiss made her soar beyond the heavens, past the moon and the stars.

Blinking, she transported them into space, their only blanket the shimmering stars in the Milky Way. They cast a bluish-purple incandescent haze over them, so that their bare flesh reflected the brilliant colours. “All that matters is that we’re in heaven together.”

He crushed her to him, filling her impossibly deep, taking her to a magical place far beyond heaven. His lips trailed fiery liquid along the hollow of her throat, along her jaw. Then he captured her lips from which he drank deeply.

Stroking in and out, his cock enflamed her. Shooting stars blazed through her. Writhing beneath him in ecstasy, she raked her fingernails down his back, clutching him to her, never wanting to let him go.

With one final plunge, Roman candles exploded inside and out. Feverishly, she drank of his kiss, wishing this night would never end.

“Would you like to explore other worlds? Travel into the future or the past?” Ragged breaths punctuated her words but she felt more wonderful than she ever had before. Heady power surged through her. She could do anything—fly, transport anywhere or change herself into anything.

“You mean like see the birth of Christ, watch Michelangelo paint the Sistine Chapel or find out who really shot Kennedy?” He sucked her lower lip into her mouth as his hands kneaded her waist. “Or meet our great-great grandchildren as adults?”

Furious heat stole into her cheeks. He presumed a lot.
Their grandchildren?
She was his sex slave, not his concubine or his wife.
Yet…

Mark licked her neck, driving her crazy. “I’d like to meet them. To see if they have your stunning beauty.”

Whoa!
The brakes skidded on, and she pulled back, confused. He presumed a lot and was trying to take things awfully fast. He hadn’t been out of prison a full twenty-four hours, and he wanted to meet their great-great grandchildren? How could he be so sure they had children much less grandchildren? Although the question burned on her lips, she bit it back, refusing to egg him on further.

Ignoring his question, she blinked them home, hoping he wouldn’t bewitch her with more mind-numbing sex until she got better control of her newly acquired powers. She loved him, at least she loved the old Mark with all her heart and soul, but this required serious breathing space, thinking time and Mark’s touch scattered all coherent thought. She had to make sure he was still the same man, that she was still the same woman before she committed her life to him.

Chuckling, Mark said, “This doesn’t look very futuristic.” Naughtiness quirked in his eyes and he crooked his finger at her. “Come here. I’ve not had my fill of you.”

Her pulses racing, eager for more of his kisses she went into his inviting arms and lifted her swollen lips to his. “Ordinary sex might prove boring now.”

The devil trailed hot kisses down her throat, a move guaranteed to make her swoon, and make her knees go weak. How very well he knew her.

Melting in his arms, she arched her neck to give him better access. Nothing felt better than Mark’s lips on the back of her neck. Almost nothing. Even without the spell, her heart flipped when he touched her. He must have bewitched her.

“The genie is so submissive and loving to her new master,” a very deep, unfamiliar voice boomed behind her, yanking her out of her euphoria.

Bristling Mark pulled back and pushed her behind him. “Did you forget to tell me something? Who is he? Your new boyfriend?”

Chapter Four

With wide eyes she studied the seven-foot, bearded, swarthy giant dressed in Arabian garb. The intruder made her shiver which very few people had done since she’d learned to defend herself.

“I never saw him before,” she whispered. Louder, she asked the intruder, “Who are you and what are you doing in my house?”

“How sweet. The mortal thinks he can protect his genie.” The trespasser advanced on them menacingly and didn’t disappear when she tried to blink him away.

Scared now, she tried to blink herself and Mark away. Nothing happened. Her powers seemed frozen, perhaps stripped. “Get out! Even without genie powers I must warn you both of us are karate experts. We will defend ourselves if we have to.”

“Where is my Adara? Why are you the genie? I haven’t travelled across the world tracking my Adara to find a stranger in her bottle. That crafty merchant switched bottles on me and pawned it off on you, but you’ll be as sorry as that elephant dung when I finish with you,” the trespasser roared thunderously, his expression stormy.

Seething, Savi came forward and balled her fists at her sides. “Your precious Adara tricked me into freeing her and taking her place. I don’t know where she disappeared to.”

“Then you’ll have to help me find her.”

“I don’t have to help you do anything. I don’t even know who you are and I want you out of my house now!”

The man laughed and narrowed his eyes. He advanced a menacing step. “Tell me where Adara is.”

Savi notched up her chin and glared at the intruder. “As far away as she could get from this bottle is my guess. She couldn’t wait to switch places with me.”

“Get lost.” Mark started to dial the authorities on his cell phone.

The dark giant tore the phone from Mark’s grasp and snapped it in two. Then he waved the genie’s bottle in Mark’s face and shoved him. “I have the bottle. I’m the genie’s master now.
You
get lost before I have her turn you into a toad.”

Savi gasped. She couldn’t breathe. How could this have happened?

“The
genie
is my fiancée. Leave now before I have no choice but to use force,” Mark said.

“You’re beginning to annoy me. Genie, make him go—”

Before the intruder finished his sentence, Mark yelled a loud “Kiyap!” and swung around in a lethal kick aimed at the man’s face.

The other man deftly sidestepped Mark, caught his leg and flipped him. He stood over Mark and put his foot on his chest, holding Mark down as effortlessly as if he was a leaf. He spat on Mark, then asked, “How would you like to be the first resident on Mars? Genie, I wish for you to send this man to Mars.”

Send Mark to Mars?
She tried to attack her new master, but found herself frozen. Then she blinked and tried to send her master to another planet. That didn’t work, either.

Savi couldn’t exhale. Mark would die. Her horrid new master hadn’t added ‘permanently’ or that she couldn’t provide life support for him. Then she had a consoling thought. The giant hadn’t specified if he meant Mars the planet, Mars the candy bar company or Mars the town.

Blankly, ignoring the horror etched on Mark’s face, she sent him to the town with a pocketful of crisp one hundred dollar bills, praying he’d return swiftly to help her.

“Genie, I wish for you to make me, Dammar the Great, ruler of Planet Earth, with that ungrateful Adara by my side.”

Savi’s heart savagely hammered her ribs. The megalomaniac was insane! He had to be the evil master of which Adara had spoken. How could she stop him? He would surely wreak havoc and ruin. If only there was another place called Planet Earth.

She froze time and searched for any place else called Planet Earth and sighed in relief when her search netted several companies. Blinking, she installed the evil Dammar as ruler of Planet Earth, the shoe manufacturer.

When a crate of shoes fell on her master’s head, she had difficulty restraining her smile or keeping her eyes from twinkling. No one deserved it more than him.

“You imbecile! How dare you deliberately misunderstand me! I will have you fed to famished crocodiles after I get my final wish,” Dammar roared.

She blinked away, leaving him to rule his shoe factory. Feeling guilty that she left the poor defenceless employees to deal with him, she blinked back to check on him.

“Get me out of here now! And bring Adara to me,” the red-faced man bellowed.

Keeping a bland expression, she asked, “Is that your wish, Master?”

“No! I’m not wasting a wish on such trivialities! Just do as I say.”

“Very well,” she said, suppressing a sigh. She blinked Dammar, Adara and herself back to her apartment. Then she blinked Mark into the next room, hoping he wouldn’t reveal himself until he had an opportune moment to help her overpower the evil one. She bowed demurely before her master. “I’ve done your bidding. But I am weary. May I retire?”

“Be gone with you. I’m tired of your deceitful face. I should keep you in your bottle for the next hundred years just to teach you a lesson.”

Savi’s heart froze.
He wouldn’t.

“Only one hundred years? You contained me for five hundred!” Adara pouted and tossed her hair behind her shoulders.

Dammar held out her bottle and Savi felt a powerful pull. Changing into smoke was the oddest sensation she’d ever experienced. Within seconds she was sucked into her bottle, and Dammar rammed the stopper into the opening, trapping her.

One hundred years? Five hundred?
Her heart hammered her ribs and she had the sickening sensation that she was about to be hurled from a very tall building. She feared Mark would be dust by the time she escaped.

“I want to be the most powerful genie the world has ever known.”

She held her breath and prayed he wouldn’t put his desire into wish form. Did she have enough power to stop him?

“Dammar, my love.” Adara sidled up to him with seduction glowing in her eyes. “Do you really want to let her keep her powers so she can challenge you?”

Picking up Savi’s bottle, he turned it over in his hands. A wicked smile dawned over his lips. “What would I do without you, my love, to guide me?”

When Dammar stroked Adara’s luxurious hair as if she was his beloved pet, Savi grew sick to her stomach. To be someone’s pet was not her idea of utopia.

Desperate, she folded her arms across her chest and blinked. “Dammar, you are a toad! The kind with the horny spikes.”

Her wish boinked around inside her bottle and almost crashed into her.

Dreading Dammar’s demands, she winced. She wished she could remain a genie to thwart his plans. She tried to decipher the ancient genie scrolls. Before she could find the gem of truth she sought, the cork was pulled from her bottle and it was tilted precariously, tossing her unceremoniously to the side.

“Genie, emerge from your bottle and face me. I’ve decided upon my final wish.”

Swallowing hard, Savi dissipated into smoke and materialised before Dammar. Gritting her teeth, she ground out the despised words, “Yes, Master?”

A malicious smile spread wide across her master’s scrawny lips. “I know you think me a black scoundrel, but I am quite altruistic. Genie, I wish you to be free!”

It was her dream…her nightmare. The earth quaked. Her blood froze.

In a poof she was herself again, facing the vile monster.

Dammar’s menacing laughter boomed through the room. He waved the bottle in the air like a trophy. “Nothing can stop me now! I shall rule the universe with Adara at my side!”

”No,” Savi whispered. She dove for the bottle. When Adara tripped her, she pitched headlong into the wall.

Adara took the bottle when Dammar held it out to her and wound her fingers around the bottle and held it high. “
I
am the bottle’s mistress.
I
am mistress of the genie.”

Dazed, Savi’s heart sank to the pit of her stomach. What evil would Dammar and Adara unleash? She vowed to fight them with her last dying breath and hoping to surprise her former genie, rushed to grab the bottle from her hands.

As if bored, Adara patted her rouged lips and yawned. “Dammar, I wish you to make the tiresome mortal female into a snake.”

Savi’s gasp was swallowed in a hiss as she morphed into a viper and fell to the floor. She hoped she was the poisonous variety so that Dammar would succumb to her venom. Shifting course, she slithered under the bed, and set her sights on the genie’s ankles

“You’re delightfully wicked, my love. We won’t have to worry about that one anymore.” Adara’s hated voice tinkled saccharinely about the room.

“No? You only have me to worry about now.” Mark’s voice low, but lethal, echoed through the room.

Savi gasped then sucked in her breath. She longed to warn Mark away but her words came out as hisses.

Adara screwed up her face and jabbed her finger at Mark. “This pathetic mortal suffers from delusions of grandeur. I see he wants to slither on his abdomen, too.”

Savi’s heart ruptured. “Please, God, no.”

Mark needed a diversion fast and the woman’s bare leg lingered a mere foot from her beside the edge of the bed, within striking distance. Savi bared her fangs and lunged for her target.
