Gary Lachman is the author of several books on the links between consciousness, culture, and the Western esoteric tradition, including

. As a critic and journalist, Lachman has written for

, and other journals in the United States and United Kingdom, and is a frequent guest on BBC Radio Three and Four. A founding member of the rock group Blondie, in 2006 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and his
