Over to the closet, across the room, and by the window sill,

I searched through potions and shrunken heads but could not find her still.

The wizard stood and I crept behind the curtain I was near,

Like a frozen statue I did not move, I was trembling in fear.

The wizard was looking for his wand, and did not know where it was at,

He picked up something from under the bed, the wand was disguised as a bat.

Swinging left and swinging right, the wizard cast a spell,

He picked up a ball and put on his hat and where he went I could not tell.

I let out a sigh of relief as I watched him leave the den,

I knew it was time to leave this room and start my search again.

Through the halls of caves I snuck, around a corner turn.

I sniffed the air and suddenly my tummy began to churn.

In the kitchen the witch had started another poison brew,

She was trying to make others believe that it is simply stew.

But if you take a single bite, your nose begins to swell,

Your face will turn a yellow green and your breath will start to smell.

A wart will grow upon your nose and others will laugh and stare,

This witches brew is the worst of sorts, I must make sure my doll is not there.

I began to crawl under the table, near where the witch I did see.

But I had to stop when my eyes revealed her scary beast beneath.

This beast was dressed as a tiny dog, but do not be deceived,

This beast will chew up everything it sees, more than you’d believe.

So around the table I searched for my doll, but there was only one way past.

I had to slide underneath the witch,
which I must do very fast.

My breath I held
, as I slid below the witch as she cackled above me,

Like a stealth cat I slid across,
and out the door I did flee.

In the courtyard I saw the tree where I had once rescued my doll,

The only way to reach the tree was to climb the courtyard wall.

The wall was covered in prickly vines, easy to stick my fingers,

If I were to poke just a single one, the pain would continue to linger.

Around the thorns I climbed, like a ninja, I moved my hands

I made it over the top, and on my feet I did then stand.

Near the tree was the pit of sand, where everything will sink.

Just on the top of the sandy pit, my eyes saw something pink.

With super speed I rushed to the pit and then a flip I took,

Next, I took out my magnifying glass to get a closer look.

It was my doll, she was sinking fast, and now the time had come,

This is the never ending pit that I must rescue her from.

I dug around the sand and dirt, and pulled her from her grave,

Another job was ending well, and my dolly I did save!
