She smirked. “I
do. And thank you.”

“For what?”

She pulled me
down onto the bed and snuggled in close, putting her newly-adorned hand on my
chest so that we could both survey the sparkle of her ring. “You think I don’t
know how you’ve managed around my anxiety with this proposal and kept me from
panicking, but I do.”

I swallowed past
the lump in my throat. “You’re okay with that?”

She scooted up
and kissed me soundly. “To have someone love and know me the way you do is
better than okay. It’s the freaking fairy tale.”

I grinned at
that sentiment. “Agreed, although our happily ever after will be a little bit
naughtier.”

She gave me a
wicked grin. “Oh, I’m counting on it.”

Thank
you so much for reading Ask Me Something. If you enjoyed it, please take a minute
to leave a review. It makes such a difference for a self-published author.

I’m
currently working on the next book in the series. Will it be Catherine’s story,
or it could be McKenzie. Sign up for my newsletter to find out.

Sincerely,

Bondurant

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

Since I published Tell Me
Something at the end of June 2015, I’ve been on a remarkable journey. I’ve been
fortunate enough to meet some incredible people all over the world who have
taken the time to lift me up and give me the encouragement to continue.

To Karen, Donna and Sam: I have
no words to tell you how much I’ve appreciated your advice, support and
laughter. In a world where it is sometimes easier to believe the negative, your
positive words, generosity and support have inspired me. And to all of the
other book bloggers who continue to take chances on a new author: thank you.
You are the unsung heroes for an Indie author with your tireless reading,
reviewing, promoting and oh yeah, doing your day job and managing your families
as well. Your efforts do not go unnoticed!

To
my husband and children who continue to respect “mommy’s laptop time” I love
you and appreciate your patience with my “hobby.”

To my friends and family who will
read this book and know exactly how I came up with
ketchup on tacos
-I
figured you might like that. (I swear it gives a taco that extra tang that
makes it delicious! You know you want to try it now :-) A huge thanks to those
who have been genuinely thrilled to not only read my book and support me, but
share it with the world (even with your 90 year old grandmothers-I’m still
blushing) I can’t tell you how much it means to me!

And last but not least, to my
editor, Alyssa Kress. You’ve been invaluable in this process since day one. You
encourage me to push myself towards my very best work and keep it on the rails.
I couldn’t do it without you!

ABOUT
THE AUTHOR

Aubrey
Bondurant loves to read, write and travel. Her writing style is a combination
of chick lit and erotic romance or “smutty chick lit” as she calls it. If she
could create a new book genre classification it would be “Adult Contemporary
Erotic Romantic Comedy.”

When
she isn’t working full time or spending time with her family, she puts her
fingers to keyboard and crafts a story. As a former member of the military, she’s
passionate about veteran charities and giving back to the community.

The
“Something Series” will consist of five books in total.
