Julian was past confused.  But the one thing that was constant was his need.  He focused on that need and let the rest slip away.  Somehow, he sensed Carr would be the rock he’d hold on to in the future, or he might get washed away into the abyss.

Hours later, Carr leaned against the corner of Julian’s room, watching the human sleep.  He’d sent the man back to Earth’s dimension, knowing he’d step across the line if he didn’t.  Now knowing he’d lost his one chance to taste and fuck the man, Carr felt he’d had his opportunity stolen.

Just take him.  Crawl into his bed and take what you want.  The human wanted you, just take him.

Carr wasn’t his cousin.  Olivier would sneak in and take exactly what he wanted and not worry about explaining himself to anyone.  Carr was different.  He’d kept a tight hold on the peace between dimensions for nearly a thousand years, and he wasn’t letting chaos rule once more.  If he broke this rule, it would allow Olivier to break one, too.

When Olivier broke rules, it was never easy picking up the pieces.  Carr scrubbed a hand over his face and walked away from the human.

“Carreau?”

Damn it.
Carr froze in the doorway, his back to the human.  He needed to go.  He wanted to stay.  He finally succumbed to the need and turned to face the man.  “Yes, it’s me.”

“What are you doing here?”  The human sat up in his bed and looked Carr over.  “I mean, I thought maybe I was going crazy.  I was with you two and then I was back in the hotel, at the same moment I’d left.”

Carr sat down on the edge of the bed.  “No, you’re not crazy.  I knew I’d take things too far if you remained there and so close.”

“I’m glad to see you.  Glad to know I’m not insane.”  The human frowned.  “Why did Olivier pick me?”

“He didn’t tell you?”

Julian sat back on the headboard and gazed at Carreau.  “Not exactly.  I mean, he gave me a reason, but I don’t know how much I trust that demon.”

Good.  Don’t trust him.
  “What did he say?”

“He said the two of you were in Vegas and saw me playing.  And then…” The human trailed off and the air thickened between them.

“And then, what?”

“That you were
interested
in me,” Julian answered.  “I laughed it off.  I’m heterosexual, but after I saw you … well …”

“Well?”

“I doubted.  I’ve heard the phrase
gay for you
, but always thought it was bullshit.”  Julian looked away and shook his head.  “I’m the straightest guy I know.  I have no problem with gay guys, seriously, but this just feels … weird.”

Carr rose from the mattress and stopped at the bed’s poster at the end corner.  He leaned against it and stared at Julian.  “I make you uncomfortable?”

“No!”  Julian got out of bed and walked closer. “Yes.  I don’t know.  I feel very confused.”

Carreau stared into Julian’s eyes, the craving growing each second.  He didn’t want to scare Julian off, but he also suddenly needed the human to understand the raw need coursing through his veins.

“And then you look at me like that, and I don’t feel confused at all,” Julian whispered.

Carr grabbed the man’s arm and drew him into a tight embrace.  Their lips collided in a battle of wills, one of them a strong demon not willing to concede the alpha role, the other a confused human not accustomed to being led.  Carr won out, of course, forcing Julian to accept his beta status.  Driving the kiss, Carr let Julian know in no uncertain circumstances that he was the one in charge.

Julian pulled away, panting and slightly out of breath.  “This feels weird.  I’m usually the aggressor.”

Carr pulled Julian back into his arms.  “You haven’t even begun to see an aggressor, human.”  Carr enclosed Julian’s open mouth and pushed his tongue inside, sweeping the male’s flavor into his own mouth.  Cinnamon toothpaste and another flavor that was Julian’s swirled over Carr’s taste buds and he drew the human closer, rubbing his hardening cock against Julian’s abdomen.

Julian’s hard shaft poked into the top of Carr’s thigh and made him groan with need.  He wanted to rip off the human’s clothes and force him down to the bed to take his due.  Instead he broke the kiss and stepped away, his heart thundering in his ears.  His hands itched to reclaim the wounded looking male and finish the deed, but there was too much at stake.

“Why did you stop?”  Julian asked lowly, his breath coming in short pants.

“I can’t touch you again.  Not while Olivier owns your contract.”

Julian smiled wickedly.  “Rules are made to be broken.”

Carr stepped back a little more.  Yes, he wanted to break all the rules when it came to Julian, but he couldn’t.  “If Olivier wins our game, he gets to rule the underworld for one day.  And he could start another war.  The last one raged for a millennia and billions died on many planes, including yours.  I can’t let it happen again.”

Julian’s face fell.  “I thought all demons wanted war and plague and all that jazz?  Why do you fight for peace?”

“Disappointed I’m one of the good guys?”

Julian shook his head.  “Absolutely not.  It makes me feel better knowing you apparently have some kind of morality.  But that flies in the face of everything we’ve been taught about demons and devils.”

“Just like humans, there are good and evil within our race, but our kind leans toward the latter.  My race has been the gatekeepers for time eternal.  We keep the peace amongst the various nations and try to keep the demon hordes from being set free to pillage other dimensions.  Some break free, but the few who do are nothing compared to the ones we hold back.”

“I never knew,” Julian said.

“We don’t want the knowledge coming to your people.  If humans knew the danger, they’d live in constant fear.  Most of the horde is made up of souls like yours.  Imprisoned by a contract, they long to get back to earth.  They’re jealous of the life those on earth still enjoy, and they’d do anything to destroy your planet.”

Julian shook his head.  “I shouldn’t have signed that damned thing.”

Carr nodded.  He’d been watching the human from a distance for some time, biding his time until he could wrap up a few deals in the underworld.  Carr had completed his tasks that morning, to find his cousin had pulled the rug out from under him before Carr could get what he wanted.  Now Carr was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

And Julian ran the risk of being a horde member.

War in the underworld couldn’t happen again.  Too many lives were at risk.  And if it spilled out into this dimension and hurt this world again, there would be hell to pay from the Ethereal dimensions who protected Earth viciously.  Carr had been entrusted by his father to hold the peace, and that was exactly what he would do.

One human wasn’t worth an all-out war.  No matter how much Carr wanted him.

Unless.

Unless there was a way Carr could void Olivier’s contract or win it for himself.  Then Carr would be free to love the human as much and as often as he wanted to.

There was little time.  The cancer eating Julian away was spreading quickly, and there was nothing Carr could do while Olivier owned the human.

Carr reached out and rubbed his thumb over Julian’s lower lip.  “Soon, Julian.  Soon you’ll be mine and Olivier won’t be a problem for us.”

After another second of watching the dark need swirling in Julian’s eyes, he popped back to his own dimension, feeling overstimulated.  His cock raged, screaming for release.

Carr would find a way.  He had to.

Chapter Four

The pale light of day had barely started coming in through the windows as Julian pushed the thick dildo deeper into his ass, stretching the little used muscles to extremes.  Closing his eyes, he imagined Carr fucking him, ripping him in half with his massive tool.  He’d fantasized about the demon for a week now.  Without some prep, Carr would in fact rip Julian in half.  Julian had remembered the toy in his drawer, something left behind by an old girlfriend.  Still in the package, she’d bought the huge phallus as a joke, never realizing Julian would someday use it to ready himself for a larger than life male.

He could now take the whole thing into his body, his muscles now accustomed to the thick impalement.  Julian had no idea how much bigger Carreau would be, but at least he’d be better prepared once he finally got the chance to take the male into his body. Soon, he hoped, even with Carr’s words about the contract.  He trusted Carr to find a way out, a way for them to be together.

Julian’s body trembled as he thought of Carr fucking him.  He could only guess at what Carr looked like without his clothes on.  He pumped his ass, thrusting the cock inside him as he closed his eyes and pretended it was Carreau taking him.  Soon, Julian came in a rush, his seed spewing onto the towel he’d used to cover his bed.

“Carreau!”

He pulled the dildo from his ass and dropped it on the towel, giving himself a moment to catch his breath.  Shame began to creep in again.  Julian was still struggling with his sexuality, confused beyond words at the strength of his desire for the demon.  The only part of the whole situation that was clear was that Julian wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to have Carr, shame be damned.

Julian got up from the bed and began cleaning everything.  He looked in the mirror, shocked by the look of lusty abandon on his face.  Hopefully, he’d feel more of that sensation very soon.

The week had passed slowly, and Julian thought the day would never arrive.  He knew he was insane for looking forward to being used and abused, but if he could see Carr again, then it was worth it, whatever Olivier did to him.  From the moment he’d woke, his body had been throbbing, his cock hard as the marble he’d been impaled on the week before.  He couldn’t focus, couldn’t sit still, and the clock hands moved much too slowly for his well-being.

So he’d burned up time by preparing his body, ready for the moment when the demons would call for him.  Once he’d cleaned everything and crawled back into bed to try to sleep a little more, he was feeling listless.  Hopefully it wouldn’t take long before he was taken to the hell dimension so he could end his torment.

“Ready, human?”

Julian turned at the crisp, accented words. “As ready as I can be, Olivier.”

The demon smiled and snapped his fingers.  They were back in Olivier rec room.  A large wooden X stood beside the table, a spotlight beaming down on it.  “This is a St. Andrew’s Cross.  You’ll be secured to it while we play.”

“That looks easy enough.”  Julian looked down at himself and realized he was already nude, his clothing not making the jump with him.

“Easy?  Of course.  Quite easy.”  Olivier motioned for Julian to step forward.

As soon as Julian was facing the cross, the cuffs moved of their own accord and snapped around his wrists and ankles simultaneously.  Julian’s back was to the table.  He wouldn’t be able to see what the demons were doing, or the dark looks Carr sent his way.  Disappointment rolled through Julian at the thought, but knowing Carr would stare at his ass helped soothe him some.

Olivier came around the other side of the cross and looked at Julian.  He snapped his fingers and an extremely wide butt plug materialized in his grip.  At the same time, Julian felt the tip of something pushing against his ass.

“This is the butt plug now being pushed into your ass,” the demon said.

Julian’s body seized as the widening plug was shoved inside him.  Fortunately, it appeared the tool had been coated in lube, making it slightly easier.  The fact it was Olivier delivering the thing into his body made him feel almost violated, not stimulated, as he knew he would feel if it was Carr doing the same act.

Pain ripped through him as the thickest part of the plug pushed past his tight band of nerves, but relief flooded him when the fat plug was embedded in him.  A narrow base held the plug in place and would make it nearly impossible for Julian to take it out alone and cuffed.

“The game is in four hours.  You’ll remain up here until we’re done.” Olivier smiled and began to walk away.

“You can’t leave me here four hours!”

Olivier continued to walk away, ignoring Julian’s plea.

“Come on, you son of a bitch, let me out!”

A gag materialized in Julian’s mouth, a big red ball between his teeth, tethered around his head.  He groaned against the gag, pissed off to no end.  How could he endure standing there four hours, the thick plug impaling him the entire time?

His thoughts quickly turned to Carr.  Carr would arrive in four hours and see him overstimulated and needful.  How would the demon react?

Desire warmed Julian’s body.  He closed his eyes and envisioned the lust he’d seen in Carr’s stare the last time he’d seen the demon.  Julian’s cock began to thicken and grow, need rising like a tide, threatening to swamp him.  Pre-cum oozed from the tip of his shaft, and his ass clenched around the thick plug.

He wanted it to be Carr’s cock inside him, not the plug.  But to wish that was selfish.  He couldn’t let his need be the cause for a war that could impact so many.  Julian had promised himself he’d be a better man if he had another chance.  He needed to be strong and ignore the sensations running through his body.  He needed to forget the hungry looks his demon cast his way.  Good thing his back was to the table.  He wouldn’t have to look at Carr with longing in his gaze.
