Julian sat up.  “Is there a chance there is an operating bathroom nearby?”

Carr laughed.  “We’re not all that different in the needs we have.”  Carr pointed to a door.  “Over there.”

Julian climbed out of the covers, his naked body too distracting.  As Carr watched Julian cross the room, his cock swaying before him, something snapped inside him.  What was one more rule?  He needed to claim his mate and bind them together somehow.  There was no way he could focus on what came next with his desire clouding his judgment.

He would have Julian, then and there, the hell to the consequences.  They were meant to be, and Carr would find solutions to whatever turmoil Olivier caused.

After he lost himself in Julian.

“This isn’t good, human.  Not at all.”  Carr stood naked in the middle of the room, grasping his hard cock in one hand.  “But I can’t hold back any longer.”

Julian couldn’t help but stare at the demon’s perfect body.  Not good?  It was better than good.  But they couldn’t.  They shouldn’t.

Carr lowered his hand and stared at Julian, heat firing in his gaze.  “You know we shouldn’t let things happen.  Not yet.  Not until the contract is voided.”

Carr’s voice sounded deep, strange.  The demon was battling his need.  How easy it would be to push him over the edge.  Olivier had demanded just that.  Julian didn’t want to cause trouble, but he was hungry for the male.  Too hungry.
Fight it.  Don’t push.  Back away.

“Of course,” Julian said.  “I can’t stop the need I feel, though.”  Julian’s mouth was on autopilot.  He couldn’t stop saying the wrong things.  Or rather the right things he shouldn’t be saying now.  They couldn’t have sex.  They shouldn’t.  Not yet.

Carr froze, his heated stare burning Julian’s flesh.  “How badly do you want me?”

Julian’s legs began to wobble under him.
Fight it.
  “I don’t know.”

“That isn’t an answer, Julian.”

Don’t say it.
“I want you with a need I’ve never felt with anyone else.  I’m confused with this whole situation, but the one constant in it all is an unshaking need to have you.”
Stop it!  Get control and back away.

“We
have
to wait.”

“I’m dying.  Olivier promised me ten more years, but if that contract is voided, I might not live another day.  I can’t die without having tasted you,” Julian said.
You selfish son of a bitch.  You can’t fuck him.  Not yet.

Carr’s lids narrowed.  “I can make the cancer go away.”

“You know?”  Julian nodded after a second.  “Of course you know.  So make the cancer go away.  Fix me.”

“I can’t—”

Julian sighed and looked around Carr’s sumptuous bedroom.  White silk covered everything in the space.  The room smelled of the demon, warm spices and musk, but Julian couldn’t appreciate it in that moment.  Frustration filled Julian.  He felt like he was hurrying to die and not living much of a life before he lost everything.

And guilt swamped him for such greediness.

“Wait, Julian—”

“No, I don’t need another tall tale.  Olivier made everything sound so easy and then there were strings.  You say you can save me, but then you can’t.  I want to rewind a week and tell Olivier to stick that pen up his ass.”

Carr leaned on the wall.  “I can make the cancer go away, but not until you’re no longer under Olivier’s control.  We have to find a way to destroy that contract.”

“And how does one break a demon’s contract?”

“We have to buy it from him,” Carr said matter-of-factly.

“Buy it?  What do I have that Olivier wants?”

“He wants me to give up control of the underworld.  So, we offer him that in place of your soul.  There’s no way he’ll not reach for that.  It’s all he’s wanted for a millennia.”

“You can’t risk letting the world crumble just for me.”

Carr shook his head.  “Without you, there’s no reason for me to save any of it.”

A shiver raced down Julian’s spine.  “What?”

“I believe … I believe you’re my mate.”

“Huh?”  Julian spun to stare at Carr.
No, no, no.
Things were just getting too over the top for him.  His world was already spinning.  “Okay, look.  I might feel confused and want to fuck you, but no one said anything about mates or whatever the hell that is.  It sounds … permanent.  I don’t even know what the hell is going on.”

“I know there has been a lot dumped in your lap, but if you’re my mate, you will remain at my side forevermore.”

Julian scowled at the overbearing demon.  “Yeah, I’m not so sure about that.”  Anger allowed Julian to see a little reason.  They needed space.  Julian needed to think.

Carr approached and drew Julian into his arms.  “I’m quite sure,” the demon growled.

Lust flashed brightly in Carr’s eyes.  Something told Julian the male’s control had just snapped.  Carr backed Julian up to the wide bed sitting in the middle of the room and pushed him back on it.

“Wait!  Remember what you said?  We had to wait?  You can’t have me until the contract is voided.”

Carr’s eyes started to turn completely black and his horns began to extend, growing longer and pointing forward instead of back along his head.  Fangs protruded from his lips, giving him a vampirish look.  “I can’t wait any longer.  I
won’t
wait any longer.”

Julian scuffled to the head of the bed and tried to put distance between them.  Carr rounded to one side and pulled a cuff from the edge of the bed.  In an instant, Julian was completely bound to the bed, spread eagled and on his stomach.  Carr had used his power to put Julian exactly where he wanted him, it seemed.

Carr nibbled on Julian’s ass before giving the cheek a hard swat with the flat of his hand.  It was hotter than anything Julian had ever experienced.  His cock was rock hard and painfully pressing against the bed below him.  Pre-cum oozed from the tip and wet the comforter.  Another smack had Julian moaning, the stinging flesh on his ass loving the rough treatment.  Carr lowered his head to trail biting kisses along the spots he’d punished, and Julian’s back bowed from the delight.  The skin was hyper sensitive, and the touches blurred the line between pain and pleasure.  But when Carr pressed his tongue to Julian’s tight hole, Julian thought he’d pass out.

The demon speared his tongue inside Julian’s body, mimicking the fucking Julian was bound to get momentarily.  Carr reached around Julian and grasped his cock, fisting the length and pumping his massive hand up and down as he continued to feast on Julian’s ass.  The sensation wasn’t like anything he’d ever felt before, and he’d never realized how amazing something like that could feel.  Carr moved his mouth to Julian’s taint, nipping at the tender flesh and making Julian cry out from the intense pleasure.

Carr rose from the bed and opened a drawer.  A second later, Julian felt the demon spreading lube along his tight bud.  Julian tried to relax, especially when Carr speared two thick fingers into Julian’s hole.  The male pumped Julian’s ass, priming it for what Julian knew was coming next.

Julian wanted it with everything in him, but he also knew that Carr might not be happy when it was all over with and he’d have to concede something to his cousin.  “Are you sure you want to do this, Carr?”

Carr paused.  The demon leaned in close.  “It’s too late, Julian.  I’m too far gone.”

Julian shivered.  He was nearing the point of no return himself.  “I want you, but rethink this.  Olivier will win.”

Carr began to move his hand again, pumping his big fingers inside Julian’s body.  “I can handle my cousin.”

Julian trembled, happy Carr wasn’t going to stop, but also terrified of what would happen when Olivier found out.  Yet he couldn’t stop the need he felt for Carr.  He wanted to feel Carr’s huge cock stretching him open wide.  His body jerked at the thought and he breathed deeply, trying to open himself to Carr’s guiding hand.

Carr squirted a little more lube on Julian’s ass and released Julian’s feet from the cuffs.  Once done, he moved into place behind Julian, the tip of his cock already surging inside Julian’s tight bud a fraction of an inch.

“This may hurt a little, human,” Carr said in a whisper.  “But I’ll try to make sure it doesn’t.”

Julian wanted the pain.  He didn’t care, as long as he was filled to the brim with the demon’s cock.  “Do your worst.”

Carr snickered a little before urging his body inside Julian’s.

The pain was exquisite.  Carr pushed himself inside Julian at a snail’s pace, pushing Julian wide open.  Thankfully Julian had prepped himself and stretched his virgin hole to better accommodate the demon.  When Carr reached the tight band of nerves, he pressed in a little harder.  White light blinded Julian as the pain increased ten-fold, but once the demon broke through the barrier, Julian knew he’d never want anything but Carr inside him.  Stretched tighter than Julian had thought was possible, he loved every fat inch of his demon.

When Carr was deeply embedded inside, Julian felt Carr trembling.

“Are you alright?” Julian whispered.

“That’s my line.  Am I hurting you too much?”

“No, I’m growing used to it.  But you’re shaking.”

“Holding back.  I want to fuck you so hard, but I’ve got to give you time.”

Julian pulled at the wrist bonds and rolled his hips.  He couldn’t wait for Carr to move inside him and bring him to the edge.  He was more ready than Carr realized.  “Fuck me, demon.”

Carr growled and lowered to cover Julian’s body with his.  The first short, slow thrust nearly took Julian’s breath away.  By the third, he could open his eyes against the pain.  When Carr had set a nice rhythm, Julian was moaning and pushing back to meet the thrusts of his demon’s cock, so mindless with pleasure he was a raw nerve ending, feeling and not being.

After Carr had fucked him for several minutes, Julian felt the demon’s teeth puncture his shoulder.  Stinging pain hit at first and threatened to make him pass out, but it was soon replaced by a wave of intense pleasure, with heights he didn’t know were possible.

Julian clenched his bound fists and sucked in as much air as he could get into his ravaged body.  Fire burned in his veins, and he could feel his balls tight to his hard cock.  When Carr reached under Julian to grasp his length, Julian couldn’t take any more stimulation.  He came at the first stroke to his shaft, his cum pooling below him as it shot from the tip.

Carr released his neck and howled, his thrusts coming faster and faster.  Julian cried out with each thick impalement, his body absorbing each blow.  He rode the edge of pain, his stuffed ass being pushed farther than he thought he could.

The demon came with a roar.  Seed shot from him and filled Julian’s ass to the brim.  Julian could feel the heated jizz seeping out and running down his thighs.  Carr milked his cock into Julian’s body, pumping until the last drop had emerged.

Carr dropped on top of Julian.  He could hardly breathe with the demon on top of him, but he wouldn’t ask Carr to move.  The connection, and still being filled, was somehow comforting after that experience.  He’d craved Carr’s touch after their last time, needed the connection.

A connection he’d sensed since the moment he’d laid eyes on Carr.  They were tied in some way, Julian knew it somehow.

I believe you’re my mate.

The words kept running through Julian’s mind.  And the longer he heard them, the more they felt right.

The demon was still hard and impaling Julian’s tortured ass as he rolled to the side.  Carr’s massive arms wrapped around him and pulled him close.  In that moment, Julian realized there was no place else he’d rather be.

Chapter Six

Carr looked across the table, wondering if Olivier’s ego would work for or against him.  It had been a week since he’d taken Julian to his rooms and had been shocked Olivier hadn’t tried to get to him.  A quiet week spent claiming his mate over and over again had been idyllic to say the least.

When Carr had left Julian in their bed to find Olivier, he wasn’t sure what he’d find.  He’d been surprised to see his cousin sitting at the poker table, shuffling cards, ready for their weekly game.

Carr sat and gazed at Olivier, who seemed much too calm. “I have a wager for you.”

Olivier, always a betting demon, smiled as he continued to shuffle the deck of cards in his hands.  “And what would that be, cousin?”

“If you win, you get to take my place.  You’ll rule the underworld, not just for a day, but until a stronger demon rises.”

Olivier lifted one brow.  “I haven’t won a game in, well, ever.  So how would this be any different than our weekly games?”

“Let the human play in my place.”

Olivier frowned, his mind probably whirring at a million miles an hour, trying to determine how he would benefit or make sure he did.  “And if he loses?”

“You get your war.”

Olivier smiled.  “Done.”

“You didn’t even ask what we wanted if Julian won.”
