Chapter Twenty Five

Harry took a sip of his juice

“Then you should get yourself back out there, my lad

“What is

“It’s
loosely speaking a PA type of role in my husband’s business,” said Alex with a smile, she thought it was ironic she was using the same term Gary had.

you were going to sort me out and get me back out there,” said Harry.

“Harry, I’m a happ
ily married woman, thank you, but if you are serious in getting back out there, why don’t you just go on one of those dating sites?” asked Alex.

“It’s not a date I really need Alex, I don’t miss the company so much, I have plenty of friends, it’s the sex I miss the most

Harry watched her walk past
the window, he paid the bill and got up to follow her. When he’d seen Mr Briggs and Alex that first night, he thought he’d recognized him; when he saw Gary in the bar, he was almost certain. He just wanted more proof.

He followed Alex
at a distance as she walked home; he’d been following her a lot ever since he’d seen Gary, which was why he’d been at the gym. He stopped on the corner of the street and watched her walk up to her house and go in. He needed to get into whatever they were up to, it was time to follow Alex’s lead. It must be something to do with that cat around her neck, his girlfriend had worn one too. He went home do some research.
