For the last few days, Shaun and I had done everything together. He had been a lot sweeter than usual, but to be honest, I kind of missed the asshole he used to be. There had been no cocky remarks, no bossing around, and no dirty sex. He had been on his best behavior, and it had been awful.

It was early Saturday morning, and I was just getting off of work. Mandy and I were walking to the parking lot together where Shaun was waiting for me. Ever since I’d told her she was right about Shaun and me falling for each other, she’d been dying to finally meet him. I thought seeing us move on to a more serious relationship gave her hope. Of course, I’d left out the fact that he had a child on the way. Besides me, Shaun still hadn’t told anyone.

“Oh. My. God.
That’s
Shaun?” she murmured out of the side of her mouth as we made our way toward Shaun’s Jetta.

He was leaning on the passenger door with his feet crossed at the ankles, and his hands were tucked into the pockets of his black hoodie. He smiled at me as we approached, and the angles of his beautiful face were highlighted by the streetlight above him.

“Hey, Killer,” Shaun said, giving me a seductive grin before his eyes moved to Mandy.

“Shaun, this is my friend Mandy.”

He smiled at her, and I swore that I heard her whimper.

“Nice to meet you, Mandy. Natalie has told me a lot about you.”

“Yeah, me, too. Do you have any single friends?”

I started laughing. Mandy definitely knew how to get to the point.

Shaun chuckled and glanced at me before responding, “Yeah, I have a few left.”

“Well, Natalie here refuses to hook me up. You know anyone who’s attractive, polite, from the South, and has a good job? Oh, and he has to be at least six feet tall.”

Shaun’s eyes widened, and he looked at me again. I just smiled and shrugged my shoulders.

“Um…I dunno. I’ll have to see who I can find.”

Mandy’s face lit up with a smile, and she gave me a told-you-so look before responding, “Okay. Well, Natalie knows how to find me.”

“Bye, Mandy,” I deadpanned, trying to stop her from harassing my boyfriend.

“All right, all right. I’m going. Nice meeting you, Shaun.”

He lifted his chin. “Yeah, you, too.”

Leaning toward me, Mandy whispered, “Don’t forget…Megan Fox.”

I rolled my eyes. I couldn’t help but smile at my crazy friend as she turned and walked toward her car.

“What was that about?” Shaun pushed himself off the car and opened the door for me.

That was another thing he never used to do.

“Don’t ask,” I muttered as I got into my seat.

Shaun stood next to me with the door still open, and I looked up at him when he didn’t close it.

“Hey,” he said, giving me his gorgeous smile.

“Hey.”

Leaning down, Shaun gave me a soft peck on the lips, his hand sliding into my hair. He pulled away and studied my face. “I love you.”

“I love you, too.”

His eyes still had an edge of fear in them, like he was waiting for me to run.

“You okay?” he asked.

“Yeah, I’m great,” I told him as I started reaching for my seat belt.

The truth was, I wasn’t great. I wanted the old Shaun back, the one I’d fallen in love with.

After he folded into the driver’s seat and started the car, he leaned his head back against the headrest and rolled it to the side to look at me. “I made an appointment with Hailey’s husband, John. He doesn’t typically deal with these types of things, but he said he would help me out. It’s on Monday.”

I’d convinced Shaun that he needed to talk to a lawyer about his rights when it came to his baby. He’d said the woman, Rachel, was cooperating with him, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t need to be careful. This was going to be an emotional process for everyone, and since he barely knew her, it was smarter to have his bases covered.

I nodded and took one of his hands in mine. I knew this had to be hard for Shaun. Having a baby was supposed to be exciting and joyous, but his situation definitely made things complicated, especially for a man who had never wanted to settle down.

“I’ll go with you.”

Shaun squeezed my hand in his. “Are you sure?”

I nodded. “I’m sure. Besides, I’ve never been to see a lawyer before, so it’s another thing I can mark off my list.”

Shaun chuckled and released my hand, so he could drive his car out of the parking lot. “We’ll think of something more exciting for you to mark off your list.”

“Promise?” I asked, hoping I’d see the wicked edge to his smile that I loved so much.

“Promise.”

There was no smile, just a small grin.

He turned the car onto the next street lined with discount and grocery stores.

“Pull over.”

His eyes came to mine, and his eyebrows drew together. “What?”

“Pull over,” I said again, crossing my arms over my chest.

Shaun moved his attention back to the road and pulled into the empty parking lot of an old Kmart. He parked his car in one of the spots near the building.

He unbuckled his seat belt and turned to face me. “What’s wrong?”

“That’s what I want to know.”

He looked completely lost, but I was about to help him.

“Who are you right now? Do you realize that you haven’t bossed me around once? I don’t know what’s going on, Shaun, but this is not what I signed up for.”

Shaun’s mouth fell open as his head jerked back, and he looked at me like I’d just escaped the loony bin.

“I didn’t fall in love with this Shaun,” I said, pointing in his direction. “Where’s the asshole who calls it like he sees it? Where’s the cocky bastard who told me he wanted to lift my dress and see how wet he could get me? Huh? Where did he go?”

A smile tugged on Shaun’s lips, and his body relaxed.

“I’m not sure if you think this new act is going to keep me around, but if you do, you’re sorely mista—”

Before I could finish, Shaun’s mouth was on mine, and his hands were in my hair. His tongue invaded my mouth, and I let it as I gave just as much as he was taking. He curled his fingers in my hair and then broke our kiss as he pulled my head back, exposing my neck.

“Is this what you want?” he whispered.

“Yes.” This was exactly what I’d wanted.

Shaun’s mouth moved to my neck, and one of his hands slid down to my pants, his fingers skillfully unbuttoning them. He pulled the zipper down slowly, and I gasped when I felt him graze the outside of my panties.

“Mmm…” he hummed in my ear.

I felt the vibration down to my toes.

“You’re not wet enough yet,” he murmured before placing an open-mouthed kiss on my neck.

I closed my eyes and bit my bottom lip as his finger moved toward my clit and pressed against it.

“You want to get fucked. Is that it?”

His finger started moving in small circles, and I released my lip from my teeth as I began panting.

“Yes. God, yes. Fuck me,” I whispered between breaths.

Leaning away from me, Shaun let go of my hair, and I opened my eyes. His pupils were dilated, and he looked hungry, like he hadn’t eaten in days and I was his next meal.

He kept his eyes on mine with his hand still in my pants. His fingers slid inside the edge of my panties and touched my wet skin. My breath hitched as I saw his wicked grin curve his gorgeous lips, and he unbuckled my seat belt.

“This is mine,” he told me as his finger pressed inside me. “All mine.”

His finger went all the way in, and my back arched as I savored each exquisite inch.

Shaun’s thumb moved over my clit and began circling it lightly, too lightly. I wanted more. I needed him to be rough. I needed him to take me, to claim me.

“It’s yours, Shaun. I’m yours,” I breathed as I tried grinding my hips.

Shaun’s hand left me, and I groaned in frustration.

“Take off your pants.”

I followed his command as quickly as I could. I was too turned-on to care where we were or who might see us. My eyes moved down to Shaun’s crotch as his hand stroked over the bulge pressing against his shorts. I licked my lips. My need to wrap them around his cock was growing like an itch begging to be scratched.

Shaun’s hands slid under the elastic band of his basketball shorts, his thumbs hooking over the edge, as he inched them down and freed his erection. His eyes met mine again before flicking down to my mouth, and I knew he wanted it.

I moved to my knees on the seat and put my hands on the center console before leaning over and grazing his lips with mine. Before he had the chance to kiss me, I put my head down toward his lap and flicked the head of his dick with my tongue. I heard his breath hiss through his teeth, and it was like a spark igniting my insides. Wrapping my lips around him, I sucked him deep into my mouth, not stopping until I had no choice. Shaun groaned, and his fingers slid into my hair as I lifted myself back up and circled my tongue around the tip.

“Fuck, I love your mouth,” he growled.

Shaun’s left hand stayed in my hair, gripping it at the roots, as his other hand reached across my back and found my pussy. I moaned around him as his finger slid easily inside me.

“Ah, fuck. You’re nice and wet now, aren’t you? I wanna feel you come with my cock in your mouth.”

I moaned again as he added another finger and pressed them deeper inside me.

“Yeah, just like that,” he said, his grip in my hair tightening.

I started moving faster up and down his length as he continued fucking me with his fingers. The heady feeling spread through my body as my climax approached. Shaun’s hand stopped moving when my insides tightened. Then, his fingers began circling inside me, and I fell over the edge. My eyes closed, and my movements faltered as I shuddered against him. My mouth was still wrapped around Shaun’s dick, and I began moving again, my orgasm only fueling my need to please him. My body pulsed around his fingers as I took him into my throat and cupped his balls in my hand.

Shaun groaned again before sliding his fingers out of me and smacking my ass. “Sit up.”

I slowly pulled him from my mouth before straightening my back and sitting up. Shaun opened his door and got out. His shorts were still hanging down, exposing his perfect ass and hard dick. I watched as he walked around the front of the car and came to my door.

When he opened it, he said, “Get out.”

I felt a thrill slide through me as I did what he’d said, and I moved to get out of the car. Leaving my door open, Shaun turned my back to face him and put my hands to the roof of the car.

I was dying to feel him inside me, filling me. “Fuck me. Please. God, just fuck me.”

Shaun’s hands went to my ass where he spread me open, and I felt him bend his knees behind me before the tip of his cock slid inside my wet pussy. My body shuddered when he punched his hips forward, and I got the twinge of pleasure and pain.

“Oh God, Natalie. You feel so fucking good,” Shaun growled.

He started fucking me, his hips slapping against my ass with each thrust. My hands moved to grip the edge of his car and his moved to my breasts as he curled himself against my back.

“Whose pussy is this?” he asked, his hips circling, as he buried himself deep inside me.

“It’s yours,” I whispered between breaths. “It’s all yours.”

Shaun grunted before his hips started moving faster, and my insides clamped down around him. His hands came to the edge of the car and covered mine, our fingers lacing together, as we started to come. I squeezed my eyes shut as my legs grew weak beneath me, and my orgasm took over. Shaun’s thrusts got harder, and his breath caressed my neck as my body spiraled down the path of ecstasy. His body grew stiff against my back as he pressed inside me, and I felt him come. He grunted again, his breath coming faster. He punched his hips forward a few more times, and my body milked every last drop. Shaun pulled out of me, and his come dripped down the inside of my leg.

“All mine,” he whispered against my ear.

It was Sunday morning, and Natalie was asleep next to me in my bed. Things between us were finally starting to feel right. I was beginning to feel like myself again, and I had her to thank for it. I had been so busy with trying to make sure she wouldn’t leave that I was losing myself in the process, and she’d called me on it. It had only made me love her more.
