They both glared down at me. Surrounded by Georgina's...  Wow this was a whole new experience  I tried to keep my eyes open but they were refusing my request.

"Why didn't you ring?"

I swallowed. I didn't feel too good. I hope I wasn't going to be sick. I doubt my legs would even get me as far as the bathroom. Oh it felt good to be in my bed. Wait!! Didn't she ask me something? I rubbed my eyes and tried to think back.

THE PHONE???

Oh yeah.  Why didn't I call her? You know what I had no fucking idea. Yes I did!

"I didn't take my charger" I slurred. That should do it. "Can we go to sleep!"

BANG!!!

I fell to the floor. Had she pushed me?

Oh, I'll just sleep here.

"Get on the sofa Blake!" she ordered. "I can't bear to be in the same room as you. You don't bother to call me, you wake me up in the middle of the night and you stink. I have work tomorrow!" She threw my pillow and it landed on my face. "Get out!"

I scrambled up clutching my pillow. "Why are you being  like this?"

She shrugged. "Good night!" With that she switched the light off and lay back down. I stood in the darkness. "SOFA!!" she screamed.

I left the room and handed for the living area. What did I do wrong? Oh fuck it! I dumped myself on the sofa and was GONE!!!

              BANG!!! CRASH!!! BANG!!! CRASH!!!

I sat up. My head hurts!!

What's with all the noise?

I looked over at the kitchen. BANG!!! CRASH!!! It was Georgina. She was dressed for work and making herself some coffee. I rubbed my face.

What was I doing on the sofa? I shook my head. Owww, I shouldn't of done that.

What was wrong with her?

Why was she pissed?

She looked over, her eyes narrowed and mouth tightened. Whatever it was I just couldn't deal with this yet.  I dropped back into the sofa and began to rub my temples. My head was pounding and her making all that noise was just making it worse.

What did I drink last night?

"I'm off to work!" I opened my eyes. Georgina was standing holding on to her travel mug. "I hope when I get back you'll have come up with a better excuse for not calling me."

"I was working Georgina. Plus, my battery died and I didn't take my charger" I groaned.

"You're trying to tell me in the whole Ibiza there wasn't one telephone  . . .. ANYWHERE!!" She hissed. "You're unbelievable. Remember you have a meeting with Maxwell at one 'o'clock." She turned her nose up. "And wash you stink!!"

"Yes dear" I saluted her. She rolled her eyes and left.

Well that was a warm homecoming!

I ran my hands through my hair. I had to get up, unpack and  sort myself out for this meeting. The whole weekend was a blur. A blur in a good way. I had never felt young and carefree before. I had taken some brilliant photos even if I did say myself. Maxwell was going to be impressed and Veronica was a beautiful woman to photograph. She was creative and didn't mind taking direction. We made a good team. I placed my hand in my pocket. There is was. I pulled out the phone. ONE TEXT RECEIVED  I sighed. I know it was wrong to lie to Georgina but to tell her the truth; That I was having too much fun and forgotten about her. That would just break her heart. I opened the text message.

Hi sweetie. Had an amazing time this weekend. Look forward to working with you again. . .  Maybe next time you might wake up and remember.

Miss you,

V xxxx

A slight grin appeared on my face. I still didn't have a clue how I woke up in her bed. One moment us and the crew were having drinks in a club. Then the next, I woke up naked beside Veronica. I kept trying to think back to what had happened but there was nothing. I had never seen Veronica in that light before. She had always been like a sister to me.

I did feel guilt. I knew that for certain. I should of rang my girl just to see if she okay.

It was the guilt. That's why I went out last night and got drunk. I couldn't face coming home and pretending everything was fine. If I knew exactly what had happened it would be easier.

I looked at the text from Veronica again. It was clear something had happened. I've never looked at another woman before. I loved Georgina she was the woman I wanted to marry and have children with. I always thought I was a decent man. A one woman man.  How could I of allowed myself to take such a risky mistake? To top it all I would have to face Veronica today with our boss. If he found out that would be me out of a job. I had to speak to Veronica alone later and get my answers.

First things first. I did honk. Shower it was.

"Amazing" Maxwell grinned. He looked at another set of photos and nodded. "You did well Blake. Best I have seen so far." He sat back in his chair then looked to me then Veronica.

"Well, Blake was a delight to work with" she looked over at me and began to flutter her eyelids. "I was thinking maybe Blake could do all my photo shoots from now." Her hand moved in between my legs and she began to rub me. I coughed. I was glad Maxwell couldn't see over the top of his desk.

"How would you feel about that Blake?"

I shifted in my seat and smacked her hand away. It was getting warm. I loosened my tie and smoothed down my jacket. My palms were beginning to sweat and I felt uneasy. Veronica hadn't taken her eyes off me since we arrived. What if Maxwell had noticed? Oh shit, now I was getting paranoid. This really wasn't good. I couldn't refuse, could I? No, I was a professional and photography was a passion of mine.

"It would be my pleasure" I said trying to control myself. "I liked working with Veronica."

She gave a little giggle. "Behave... Blake was the one who came up with most of the ideas. So visual and experiential " Her eyes sparkled, she licked her lips and I noticed her long naked legs clench together.

SHIT!!! I looked back at Maxwell.

"Good" he nodded. "Right, bare with me." He got out of his seat and left his office.

I glared at Veronica. "What are you doing?" I whispered.

She gave an innocent smile. "I have no idea what you're talking about?"

"Yes, you do. What if Maxwell had seen you. My girlfriend works here as well. Stop it. If anyone finds out Veronica  we could be me out of jobs.. I have more to lose than you do!"

She lowered her eyes and pouted. "I'm sorry" she mumbled.

"I hope you don't mind" Maxwell said as he re entered. "But I have asked Miss Dawson to come in and take notes. We will get the terms of your contract sorted before we give the solicitor a call."

My eyes directly landed on Georgina. She looked beautiful. I hadn't taken much notice this morning. I was too wrapped up in my hangover. She was in a pinstripe dress that touched all her curves. The heels made her legs look they never ended and her hair was up in a ponytail. She looked every inch the professional.

She smiled at Maxwell as she took her seat next to him. Her eyes hadn't even met mine. She was still pissed off with me. I looked down at my hands.

What a waste of space I was?

I was a useless boyfriend. What sort of boyfriend wouldn't call their girlfriend while they were away? I bet she spent all weekend guarding her phone. I probably spoilt the time she was spending with her mother.

"Right, let's begin" His eyes diverted to Georgina. I didn't like the way he looked at her. I had noticed while at my Dad's party. Also  the tone of voice he used. I knew Georgina would never look at another man. It was just natural jealousy. What was I talking about jealousy??? It was nothing to do with jealousy. It was guilt. I was getting paranoid because I had spent the  night with another woman and couldn't remember a single thing.

"BLAKE!!" Maxwell yelled. I was lost in my own thoughts. I came back to reality. "Are you with us now??" he raised an eyebrow and I nodded. Georgina put her head down. She was embarrassed with me.

Great, I was doing well today.

"Good . . . .. You will be Veronica's photographer. Therefore you must be available at any moment. Sometimes it may be short noticed. You will be expected to take care of any equipment and be in charge of all photo shoots. I will have to give you a three month trial period but this is just to protect me and you. How much you looking for salary wise?"

"I can charge up to 250 per hour" I didn't feel comfortable talking about money. Especially in a room full of people.

"Really!!" Veronica giggled. "I think you've been undercharging. He is so modest, isn't he Georgina?"

"Veronica, sssshhh please" Maxwell huffed. "How about we do you an annual salary of 25,000?? Then review it after the three months trial?"

"Sounds good to me" I didn't really care. I was depressed over Georgina and I was now angry at myself.

"Are you getting all this Miss Dawson?" He said in that tone again. All sweetness and light. Maybe other women found it appealing? By the look of Georgina it didn't affect her. A little grin came to my lips. That was my girl!! She could never fall under other man's charms. Shame, I was weak and didn't deserve a woman like her.

I was scum.

"Yes, Mr Thomas" She stopped writing. "Would you like me to give the solicitor a call and get everything in motion."

"That would be wonderful thank you."

"My pleasure." She got up and smiled at him. Her eyes turned to glare at me. I wanted to speak to her but the look I was getting... Well, it was better to keep my mouth shut. I had to talk to Veronica. I had to find out what actually happened. I didn't notice Georgina leave the room.

"Right, we will call that a day!"

I left the office. Georgina was sitting at her desk. I walked over. She looked so elegant and dainty. I loved looking after her and giving her everything she wanted. She was such a tiny woman. The first time I met her I just wanted to protect her. I wanted to be her Prince Charming. After this weekend I had failed big time.

"Georgina" I said.

"What?" she snapped.

"Can we talk?"

She looked up. "No! I am working. Please, just go home and we will talk then." Her eyes widen. I took that as my cue to leave. I made my way to the lift. Veronica was stood waiting.

"Something wrong?" she asked.

I exhaled and rubbed my face. "Could say that!"

The lift pinged and the door open. We both ushered inside. Right, I had to get my answers now. It was safe here. We were alone. I waited for the doors to close and then I spun round to face her.

"What happened between us?"

She began to laugh. "You not remembered yet? Oh, Blakie. You can act very stupid at times. We both woke up naked!! What do grown ups do when they are naked? Specially a handsome man like yourself and sexy woman like me."

"We . . .  Made .. . .  Love?"

"Oh no Blakie" her voice turned husky again. She moved and I moved back. Shit, she had cornered me. Her hands began to trail up and down my chest. She moved closer. "We fucked HARD!!! And you loved every minute of it." Her hand cupped my dick. It made me clench every muscle in my body. "Do you know how much you wanted it?"
