When Evan stayed, Vania glanced over her shoulder. “Are you coming?”

“I…”

She cocked her head. “What’s that look all about?”

“Technically, since the clock is way past midnight, today is your birthday. I wanted it to be perfect for you. It
should
be.” Evan’s eyes melted into swirls of dark chocolate. “Happy birthday, Baby.”

Though difficult to conjure with Evan looking at her that way, Vania managed to mock glare. “I don’t need the reminder that I’m thirty-five and starting over.”

“Hmm, I guess you don’t want your present?”

“You got me a present?”

“What kind of man would forget his sexy cougar’s birthday?”

She flipped Evan the bird, and then picked up a sleeping Oscar from the hallway floor. “Where’s Drake?” she whispered while scratching his chin. Vania walked into the spare bedroom but Drake wasn’t where she left him, and the bed was dismantled. She lifted a brow, pressed a kiss to Oscar’s head, and locked him in his appointed bedroom.

From the hall, Evan motioned to Vania.

“What?”

Smiling, he tilted his head towards Vania’s bedroom.

She peered around the corner and discovered Drake had rearranged her bedroom. “What did he do?” she whispered, reaching the dresser for her spare glasses.

After she put them on, Vania turned a half circle to see exactly what the man had done.

Her bed was shoved to the far corner, the mattress taken off and placed on the floor. Next to that mattress was the mattress from the spare bedroom. He’d made a super, king-sized bed with pillows and blankets neatly arranged, even the cover turned down next to him.

Waiting for her and Evan…

Chapter 23

Vania couldn’t believe how young Drake looked while sleeping. His lips parted, his whiskers shadow dark. His black hair tousled over his forehead, and those raven brows scrunched over his eyes. He was dreaming about something; Vania supposed. It didn’t look pleasant. She wondered if she would have nightmares tonight, too.

“You’re falling for him.” Evan stepped behind Vania, pulling her against his front. He reached around and found her naked breasts, weighing and molding them with his capable hands.

“What makes you say that?” Her eyes traveled down Drake’s velvet poured chest to the crisp, white sheet draped so low that she could see the sexy V of his pelvis. Vania bit her lip, wishing she’d at least given him a proper goodnight kiss. Or more. How she’d landed such powerful, gorgeous, and compassionate men, she hadn’t a clue, but Vania vowed to enjoy and cherish each day as it came.

“It’s obvious.”

“How can I fall for another man — or men, in our case — right after I broke up with my fiancé?” She turned to face Evan. He’d leaned back on the dresser, his legs parted in that guy way. Wearing only his boxers, he was not only achingly seductive but also just as formidable without the power suit. “It’s too soon to fall again,” she said without conviction.

“Not if you were falling long before this week.”

Vania stood in the center of his legs, staring up at him. Drake wasn’t the only man she was falling for, either. She needed to tell Evan soon.

A slow grin stretched Evan’s mouth, his eyes glinting with something dissimilar to other times. Something she couldn’t figure out. Vania feared he might be reading her mind.

She pulled his face to hers, kissing his lips. Evan tasted like toothpaste and sin when his tongue glided along hers, the simple touch causing a distinct tightening in her womb.

Evan’s hands came to her throat, his thumbs tilting back her chin so he could deepen the kiss. This kiss seemed different from the others, much different. Vania didn’t understand what it meant but she couldn’t deny what she felt. When Evan broke away, he appeared a little dazed but kept that unnamable glinting in his eyes.

“Tell me, Evan.” Vania tiptoed and pressed her mouth beneath his chin, licking and sucking. “What is it?”

“You’re looking at me the same way you were looking at Drake.”

Like she was falling? “I am?”

“Definitely.”

“Ah, Evan,” she said honestly, “you caught me.”

“I hope so.”

She tilted her head. “Most would think you would run from a woman declaring…”

The night had been rough enough and vulnerability threatened.

“Hey.” Evan pulled her in tighter, pressing her naked breasts against his bare chest. His mouth touched hers, his heated breath somehow relaxing her into the kiss. “Rough night, relax with me while we can.”

“I don’t know if I can relax yet. But I’m wondering something.”

“What?”

“How do we work? The world will not approve, and then there’s my family and your family to consider.”

“My family will accept us, even Aunt Gilda,” Evan assured. “You do realize the marriage arrangement Dylan and Avery have with Payton. Two bound on a piece of paper, yet three sworn to a lifetime commitment.”

“I do.”

“The three of us will find our way as we go along.” He curled her hair behind her ears. “This is our journey.”

How could she argue with that? So Vania kissed him hard, hoping he would change his mind about touching her because she couldn’t fall asleep anytime soon.

He carried her to the mattresses and settled next to her.

“Why do you two carry me so much?”

“Because we can’t keep our hands off you.” His hand traveled down the curve of her waist, fingers grazing her pajama shorts. “I go crazy at work, fighting not to touch you in front of everyone. It’ll only get worse.”

“Then you’d better touch me now.”

“Baby, you need rest more than anything.”

Vania smiled against his chest as he cuddled her. “What I wouldn’t give to tie you down and have my way with you.”

“Don’t say those things to me now,” Evan whispered, his cock going rigid against her stomach.

Vania wiggled, enjoying how the light hairs on his chest were tickling her breasts. “Drake’s made a huge bed. Lots of room to play.”

“I’m going to have one built for his bungalow.”

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah,” he whispered against her ear, nipping at the lobe. “Would you sleep over every night?”

“That sounds suspiciously like living together.”

“Too soon?” Drake asked from behind her, his arms sliding around her torso to join those of Evan.

“I should make that decision without so much body heat around me.”

“So that’s a maybe,” Drake breathed against her shoulder, a scrape of teeth punctuating his words.

“A very flattered maybe.” She squeezed his hand, trying to get back distance they’d lost at Club Saturday when Gayle Murphy struck. “A decision I should make on a calmer day.”

Evan sighed. “Agreed.”

Drake’s mouth moved up her neck, finding the knot on her head and kissing it. “Are you sure your head’s okay?”

“It barely hurts.” She rolled over and placed her chin on Drake’s shoulder, staring up at his face in profile. She couldn’t find anything that wasn’t perfect, from the line of Drake’s forehead to the dip beneath his bottom lip.

“Good.”

Evan’s hard flesh pressed against her back, his massive erection teasing her.

“Are we okay, Vania?” Drake flicked his tongue over the tip of her ear, sending delicious shivers amid her thighs.

To hear uncertainty from Drake Easton was unexpected. It shook her, made her wonder how hard he was falling, too. “We are on my end.” She reached beneath the covers and cupped his dick. If Evan wouldn’t put out, maybe Drake would. “How about yours?” Vania gave him a gentle squeeze for good measure.

“Stop that,” Evan warned, his erection now prodding her hip. “You need to sleep.”

“What your mouth says and what your body says are two different things, apparently.” Vania reached behind and clasped Evan’s cock with her opposite hand.

“Vania.”

“Don’t Vania me, Evan. I’m not allowing that bastard’s touch to stop me from anything, especially when I need the touch of my men.”

Vania shimmied against bodies so large and virile her hormones were screaming for her to do something, anything, to ease her mounting ache. “I need you two on and in my body.”

Drake came over her, half-laying across the left side of Vania’s body. He kissed from her mouth to her neck and slipped his fingertips down her chest.

Evan reached between them and rubbed her nipples. “I could play with these all day.”

“But I have other parts, needier parts.”

Drake stared into her eyes, hooked his fingers in her flannel shorts and took them from her body. “Let’s see if I can find them.” With a hungry smile, he parted her legs and started kissing his way up her left thigh.

Evan took her right nipple with his mouth, his finger circling her navel the same way he twirled her nipple with his tongue.

“Hurry,” she whispered.

Drake’s mouth and hands moved closer, closer, closer.…

“Please!”

Two sexy men seducing her at the same time was an orgy of wicked sensations.

She wondered…

“Remember one of those, uh, suggestions you whispered in my ear?”

“In the elevator?” Drake asked. “How could I forget?”

She reached to her right and trailed her hand down Evan’s extraordinary abs, his muscles clenching as she said, “I want to try.”

“Now?”

She swallowed as Drake’s fingertips grazed her thigh, his smallest finger delving toward her ass. “Yes.”

Drake closed his amber eyes a long moment, and then opened them to look at Evan. “Knowing Avery and Dylan, surely there’s something in the bathroom we could use?”

Evan looked away from Drake and focused on Vania with heavy lidded eyes. “I grabbed a travel tube at home and threw it in my overnight bag. Since she’s a virgin, it might not be enough beyond one use.”

Drake stood on his knees, reaching for Evan’s leather duffle bag. When he started riffling through it, she raised her eyebrows at Evan. “You know damn well I’m not a virgin.”

“Baby,” his voice rumbled in low and dirty ways. “That lovely ass of yours is as tight as they come.”

Her face burned. “Oh.”

“Oh,” he echoed.

She shivered as Drake placed a tube of lubricant next to her pillow. “There’s something I want to know.”

“Just ask,” Evan whispered, his fingers stroking her flushed cheeks.

“Is it true there’s a sex club beneath Tower Amore?”

Both men stilled.

“Who told you that?” Drake asked.

“I plead the fifth.”

Evan looked over at Drake, his eyes narrowing. “My bet’s on Cora.”

How did they know?

“We know,” Drake answered her unspoken question, “because she’s too nosy where Julian is concerned.”

“So he owns the club?”

“Mostly.” Evan lowered his hand to Vania’s throat, fingers tracing her throbbing pulse. “Why?”

“Curiosity, I suppose.

Is it similar to Club Saturday’s elevators?”

“I plead the fifth,” Evan shot back. His hand slid down her cleavage, his mouth following the trail.

“Not funny!”

Both men took turns kissing her. Their hands skated down her stomach simultaneously. Her sex became so swollen and wet that embarrassment forced her eyes and legs closed.

“Open your eyes.”

She opened them sheepishly.

“Keep your thighs spread wide, Vania,” Evan warned. “I love seeing you this wet for us.

Remember how wide I like them?”

“Yes.” Vania hesitated only a moment before she let her knees fall open.

“Now relax,” Drake coaxed as he brought his fingers to her opening. “Trust us.”

Evan joined Drake, his fingers roaming her clit in slow circles. “She’s juicy, slipping against my fingertips.” He brought them to his mouth, tasting, as Drake toyed with her entrance.

Evan moved his fingers back to her clit with a groan. “I can’t get enough of your flavor, Vania. It gets me harder than stone every damn time.”

Drake pressed his finger in and out her vagina, lowering his head and inhaling over her. “She smells fucking amazing.” He looked up her body with savage hunger. “When you came in my office for your review, you smelled like this. I fought not to bend you over my desk and plunge into you.”

She arched her back, giving into the sensation of their combined touch. “You could smell me then?”

Drake nodded. “When you’re wearing tiny skirts and stockings, sure.”
