“I don’t know if that’s a good idea,” Cedric said as he did his own share of ogling. “You know how I feel about bodily fluids.” The pearly drops of pre-cum dripping out of Kevin’s fat cock’s slit made his mouth water, and he found himself wishing he could catch them with his mouth.

“I need to feel your cock against mine, babe,” Kevin crooned, lifting Cedric’s legs, and wedging himself between his thighs. “Can’t we just try?”

Cedric closed his eyes tightly, and nodded three times. Now that Kevin was between his legs he didn’t want to think about anything else.

The smell of arousal permeated the air, and their labored breathing was the only noise that could be heard in the bedroom. Then Kevin aligned their cocks together, trapping them between their stomachs when he leaned down, and a symphony of yeses, growls, and grunts promptly ensued.

Kevin grabbed his arse. Cedric clutched Kevin’s shoulders, wrapped his long legs around his bloke’s waist, and ground against him.

They whispered sweet nothings, and quickly plunged into mindless pleasure. They trembled as they kissed, getting lost in each other as they hugged and thrust; fast and furious. They were locked into their bodies’ savage needs. No slowing down. No stopping. Not until their almost simultaneous orgasms ran through them with the brutal force of a nuclear explosion.

It was wonderful.

When Cedric came back to himself, it was in time to watch Kevin lap their combined cum off of Cedric’s stomach like a starving man… and when there was nothing left, Kevin hovered over him, and kissed him.

“Best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life,” he whispered in Cedric’s ear.

They kissed again. Slowly and thoroughly. Then Cedric pushed Kevin off him, ran to the loo, and emptied his stomach.

He clutched the sides of the toilet with white-knuckled hands, shaking in silent convulsion, and intensely aware of Kevin’s commanding presence. He had never felt so satisfied… so disgusted… or so embarrassed. Up to that point he’d managed to have his little episodes in private, so only God knew what Kevin was thinking at the moment, but Cedric prayed he’d choose to focus on the incredible sex they’d just had, and not the vomiting afterwards.

He flushed the toilet, and moved to the sink to rinse his mouth, sighing in relief when Kevin produced a brand new toothbrush. To say that simple gesture made him fall in love with his man all over again would be an understatement. Kevin understood, and he didn’t hold Cedric’s reactions against him.

He finished brushing his teeth with mechanical motions as Kevin grabbed fresh towels, and opened the shower faucets.

“We’re taking a shower now,” Kevin announced. “Then we’re going to get some sleep. Together.”

Cedric almost refused. He’d been in the pool with Kevin several times, but washing at the same time was a completely different monster. Then again, so was having his lover watch him throw up immediately after he’d kissed him.

He put the toothbrush down on the sink with a trembling hand, and stepped into the shower. They didn’t say much, but they washed each other without any major incidents.

After having kids in his home, not wearing condoms, tasting semen for the first time in his life, and showering with another person, Cedric could not possibly stay naked.

And he needed some quiet time.

He put all his clothes back on, including the beanie and the gloves, but after a run downstairs to clean the kitchen and the living room, and taking another shower, he returned to Kevin’s bedroom.

Trust and intimacy
, he thought, smiling contentedly when Kevin wrapped one arm around his waist, and buried his nose in Cedric’s nape.
That’s what it came down to at the end
.

It wasn’t all about the sex, or about knowing each other’s every secret and background. It was about feeling fulfilled, forming a bond, and knowing you belonged together. About having your partner care for you, and even wipe your arsehole if you couldn’t do it yourself, and trust him to still love you after you were done being a mess.

Kevin pushed forward a little, settling his semi-hard cock between Cedric’s sweatpants-covered butt cheeks. Cedric could feel his hot breath on his neck, but instead of jumping out of bed, he pressed his arse to Kevin’s crotch. He was getting better. He could let his lover breathe on him for a little while.

“I got a prescription for Viagra the other day,” he whispered, sliding his fingers over Kevin’s hand. “After discussing my options with my doctor, I decided to stay on the same OCD medication, and try the little blue pill.”

“What about side effects?” Kevin asked gravely. “Any possible serious consequences we should be aware of?”

Cedric shook his head. “I’ll be watchful, but Dr. Hoffman says I should be fine.” He shuddered, and closed his eyes. “I was an idiot to let my pride get in the way, but I can promise you, it won’t happen again.”

“Thank you, honey.” Kevin nuzzled his ear. “I know it wasn’t easy to come clean about this, but having you take steps to improve our sexual life means the world to me.” He moaned sensually, and cupped Cedric’s cock with his hand. “And going by what happened tonight, I’ve got to say Viagra’s a godsend.”

“I didn’t take it tonight,” Cedric said with a smile.

“You didn’t?”

“No. That was all me, reacting to your presence, and your love.” That sounded corny as hell, but Cedric didn’t care. It was the truth. Listening to Kevin’s declaration had set him on fire, and made his cock explode.

“Hot damn!”

“We could try Viagra tomorrow before I leave for work,” he suggested timidly. “If you spend the night, that is.”
And stay with me forever
. “I can’t wait to shag you through the mattress as often as my OCD allows it.”

“I’m definitely spending the night,” Kevin said after a few seconds. “But I meant it when I said I can’t live here.”

“Why?” Cedric asked, the annoyance he felt made itself clear in his tone.

“I can’t afford to pay you rent,” Kevin repeated.

“There is no mortgage on this place,” Cedric explained. “That makes your excuse moot.”

“I need a place where I can bring the kids,” Kevin added patiently. “In case you have forgotten, I have visitation rights every other weekend.”

“This place is huge,” he said after careful consideration. “At first we could designate a few rooms for them, and get everything they need… you know, sort of keep them contained while I make more progress on my treatment.” He hated to suggest it, but he wasn’t giving up on having a relationship with Kevin, and all things considered, it was the best he could do for the time being. “Once I’ve gotten used to their presence, it’ll be different.” Or so he hoped.

“I’d feel like less than a man if I didn’t contribute anything to the house, and—”

“I buy groceries, and pay utility bills,” Cedric cut him off. “I’ll be happy to let you pay half of it.”

“I can’t even afford that right now.” Kevin played with Cedric’s braids, and took a deep breath. “That’s the reason why I showed up with the kids today. I was thinking I have no money, but I’m in love with a guy who lives in a mansion, and has all kinds of expensive toys. Hell, your father gave you a car to celebrate your living in Manhattan for three months, and all I could think of was what the hell could I get you for your birthday that could compare to that?” He swallowed hard. “I have nothing to bring to the table, babe—”

“That’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever said to me.”

“But I’m too weak to let you go.”

“So you brought the kids here in hopes I’d be the one to tell you to sod off.”

“Exactly,” Kevin admitted bashfully. “I took the easy way out.”

Cedric turned sideways, rested his head on his hand, and studied Kevin’s troubled eyes. “I love you,” he said softly, amazed at how good it felt to share his feelings with his man. “And you love me, aye?”

Kevin pecked him on the lips, and caressed his face. “I think I’ve loved you from the start.”

“So where do we go from here?” Cedric pushed, confident in their relationship, and their love.

Kevin gulped. “I don’t know.”

“I can get you more hours with Greenbriar,” Cedric announced. “One phone call and you could be on a jobsite Tuesday morning.”

“Isn’t that nepotism?”

Cedric shrugged. “You need the job.”

“Shit.” Kevin rubbed his face. “That would certainly take care of my problem.”

“Consider it done,” Cedric said with a huge smile, ecstatic that Kevin had accepted his help. “I still want you to live with me, though.”

Kevin shook his head. “Honey—”

“Don’t you want to be with me?” He tugged his lip ring, and threw a leg over Kevin’s hip. “Come home after work, have dinner, watch the telly, sleep together every other night, have your friend Vaughn over for drinks… fight and make up, and do all those things couples do?”

“In an ideal world, we’d live together. We’d make love, and go to therapy, and you’d love my children. We’d go on vacations, and eventually we’d get married.” Kevin licked his lower lip, and smiled ruefully. “And we’d grow old together. But we can’t do any of that. Not yet, anyway.”

“When, then?”

“After I’ve saved some money.”

“My family is several generations rich,” Cedric informed matter-of-factly. “And I’m the beneficiary of a trust fund and several inheritances. That’s my reality, pet. Money is as much a part of me as the obsessive compulsions. You, on the other hand, are a hard-working man who depends on his salary. I understand your feelings and position, I really do, but—”

“See that’s exactly what I—”

“…you need to deal with the fact that you could win the lottery tomorrow, and that money wouldn’t be enough to cover my medical bills for the next five years.” He glanced into Kevin’s eyes and held his gaze, anxiety and uncertainty written all over his face. Cedric kissed him softly, and caressed his chest soothingly. “I love you for wanting to be on a more equal financial level, and your chivalrous ways are admirable, but I don’t need you to support me.” He kissed Kevin again, this time longer and harder. “What I need is the presence of my life partner.”

“Jesus, babe….” Kevin pushed him on the bed, and rolled on top of him. “I need to think about this,” he whispered. “Can you give me a few days?”

Cedric nodded emphatically, happy that Kevin was willing to consider what he’d said. It was a great start. “Of course I can.” He smiled up at Kevin, and trapped him between his arms. “You have a busy week ahead of you. Tomorrow we have to call the kids. I must apologize for being such a dreadful host. The last blueprint class will be held on Tuesday, and you’ll start a new job. It’ll take a few days to get used to your new routine, and at some point we’ve got to get you fit for a tuxedo. Also, we can’t have our date night on Wednesday. It’s Evan’s birthday, so Roberto and I planned a little party for him. You’ve got to come with us. Evan’s been dying to meet you. Plus, I’m not going anywhere, pet. We have all the time in the world. You get to think about what you want to do, and if I disagree, I get to change your mind.”

“You’re a persistent little shit, did you know that?” They both grinned, and Kevin rolled to his side. “And thank God for that,” he whispered before closing his eyes.

CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

There was something about cheering on his son while he was on the soccer field that Kevin found soothing and exhilarating at the same time. It’d been one of his favorite things to do since TK kicked his first ball when he was seven, and only a disaster of catastrophic proportions would keep him away when his kid was playing.

For years he’d enjoyed the camaraderie that came hand in hand with sitting on the bleachers with other parents discussing plays and the kids’ potential. He liked it so much, he could envision himself doing the same thing as a grandparent many—hopefully no less than twenty—years later, and not once did he think the day may come when he’d be forced to give up on it.

Enter homosexuality.

Never before had he felt as exposed as he did the moment he got out of his truck in the parking lot and people started whispering. When the comments didn’t stop as he walked up to his usual spot on the bleachers, Kevin got ready for yet another life-changing episode.
