Preface

World War III has begun. It started on September 11, 2001 when the sixth angel of
Revelation 9:13
sounded his war trumpet and the four angels which had been bound for ages in the Euphrates River of Iraq were set loose upon the earth. They have been prepared for the task of organizing and leading an army of 200 million troops in order to kill one third of mankind, or roughly two and a half billion people. Interestingly, the world's Jewish population and those Christians who currently identify themselves as either Roman Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox, or Anglican also account for one-third of the world's population. The first major military action leading up to this global war was staged by the former Iraqi President, Saddam Hussein, with his invasion of Kuwait in 1990. Kuwait had been a part of the Ottoman Empire's province of Basra, located in the southernmost section of ancient
Sumer
on the Persian Gulf. Saddam claimed that this historical designation made it rightful Iraq territory.

Since antiquity, Egyptians and Arabs have referred to the
Great Sphinx of Giza
as the "Father of Terror". Endless debates persist regarding its age and when it was carved into its recognizable image, but it remains the largest monolithic statue in the world and embodies the legacy, power and rulership of the great ancient dynasties of Egypt. The Egyptian Empire was followed by the Babylonian Empire, then the Persian Empire, the Greek Empire, and the Roman Empire. The Byzantine (or Eastern Roman Empire) remained intact until it was replaced by the Muslim-controlled Ottoman Empire in 1453, with the fall of Constantinople.

For all intents and purposes, the Ottoman Empire ceased to exist in the aftermath of World War I, but efforts by Islamic extremists are again underway to usher in its rebirth.

By 1914, the Ottoman Turks had been driven out of nearly all of Europe and North Africa, even though they still controlled 28 million people. Of those, 15.5 million were in modern-day Turkey, 4.5 million were in Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and Jordan, and 2.5 million lived in Iraq. Another 5.5 million people remained under Ottoman rule in the Arabian peninsula. The empire was finally dissolved in the aftermath of World War I, when the ruling sultanate was abolished, and the last sultan left the country. The caliphate was finally dismantled in 1924.

A hundred years have passed since the beginning of World War I, but within days of a scheduled visit to Jerusalem by a newly ordained Roman Catholic pope in May of 2014, a man in Syria was crucified on a cross. Those responsible have been identified as belonging to a radical jihadist Sunni Muslim group known as
ISIS
(or
ISIL
). Their militant army then swiftly swept from war-torn Syria through Iraq toward Bagdad, taking control of every town and city in its path by killing, capturing and executing any and all who opposed them. ISIS has clearly demonstrated its belief that targeting civilians is an acceptable strategy to reach its goals and has been responsible for thousands of civilian deaths since 2004. Countless executions by beheading have been documented since its inception, but in May of 2014 ISIS began carrying out public crucifixions in Syria. In the case mentioned above, the man was reported to have been "crucified alive for eight hours".

The leader of this self-proclaimed Islamic state has now been conferred the title of Caliph and absolute monarch. He claims to be a direct descendant of the prophet Mohammed. The organization's initial, primary goals have been clearly announced to the world. They include the formation of a new Islamic state, the resurrection of the former Ottoman Empire, the enforcement of
Sharia
law in all of their conquered territories, and the annihilation of the nation of Israel. These same objectives are shared with a high percentage of the 1.65 billion Muslims in Iraq, Syria, and most of the Islamic world.

Gog and the land of Magog were known to the prophet Ezekiel as a vast kingdom immediately north of Mount Ararat on the border of Persia (Iraq) between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. It extended northward through the Caucasus mountains into modern-day Russia toward
Kazakhstan
, the world's largest landlocked country. Its land mass is greater than all of Western Europe. Islam is the largest religion in Kazakhstan, and the majority of Muslims are Sunnis, just as those who aligned themselves with the ISIS extremists in Iraq and Syria. The prophet Ezekiel wrote, "'It will come to pass in that [last] day that I will give Gog a burial place there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea; and it will obstruct travelers, because there they will bury Gog and all his multitude. Therefore they will call it the Valley of Hamon Gog. For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land. Indeed all the people of the land will be burying, and they will gain renown for it on the day that I am glorified,' says the Lord God. 'They will set apart men regularly employed, with the help of a search party, to pass through the land and bury those bodies remaining on the ground, in order to cleanse it. At the end of seven months they will make a search. The search party will pass through the land; and when anyone sees a man's bone, he shall set up a marker by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog. The name of the city will also be Hamonah. Thus they shall cleanse the land.'"
--Ezekiel 39:11-16
(NKJV)

Baal-Hamon
was "the lord of the two horns", the ancient moon god who was worshipped in Ur of the Chaldees during the Bronze Age in the third millennium B.C. This is the same deity who was worshipped by the forefathers of the biblical Abraham, who was called by
Elohim
to leave the area and conquer Canaan. Texts from ancient Babylon clearly identify Hamon as one of the sons of the Anunnaki ruler called
Enlil
(
Baalthazar
). Hamon was also known as the moon god
Sin
, who was anciently represented by the symbol of the crescent moon. Those who worshipped Sin (or Hamon) typically invoked a divine trinity of gods that included
Ishtar
, who was represented by a star or Venus, and a
sun god
(represented by a solar disc).
Star and crescent
symbols were a common feature of Sumerian iconography. Engraved images of these symbols have been dated as early as the 14th century B.C. and attributed to the worship of ancient
Moabites
from ancient Jordan. The star and crescent moon icons that adorn Islamic mosques and holy places were appropriated as symbols in the flags and coinage of the Ottoman Empire and have since been adopted for the majority of national flags in the modern Islamic world.

Some Evangelical Christian groups claim that the Islamic name for God,
Allah
, derives from a pagan idol called
Hubal
, a warrior god whose name means the "spirit of Baal". The suggested implication is that "Allah" is an entirely different entity than the Judeo-Christian God (Elohim) and that Muslims are worshipping a "false god". An idol of Hubal was erected in pre-Islamic Arabia at the Kaaba in Mecca, but it was removed from the sanctuary and destroyed by the prophet Muhammad (along with 360 other idols), when he conquered Mecca in 630 A.D. Hubal's name appears only once in the archaeological record, as a first century
Nabataean
inscription.

Allah was regarded as the "High and Main God" by the Nabataeans, while deified high priests (like Hubal) were considered to be mediators before Allah and held a lower status, similar to the plethora of
saints
found in Roman Catholic churches and homes. Just like the pre-Islamic worshippers in Mecca, Roman Catholics long ago assigned a saint to be honored for each day of the year.

Hubal's original role was most likely to have been as a "divinely ordained" warrior-priest or military leader who once lived in Arabia or Syria. The name Allah (or
Alla
), on the other hand, has been found engraved in the Akkadian
Epic of Atra-Hasis
on tablets that date as far back as 1700 B.C. in Babylon. The name "Atra-Hasis" appears in even earlier Sumerian tablets as a named king who reigned in Sumer before the Noachian flood. These texts reveal that Allah was being worshipped alongside other gods identified as his brothers, and that the other
gods
in this Anunnaki pantheon were subordinate to him... in the same way that older, 5,000 year-old Sumerian texts describe Enlil (
Baalthazar
).

Jehovah Elohim (through the prophet Isaiah) was addressing a future king of Babylon when he wrote: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!"
--Isaiah 14:12.
The word translated in this verse as "Lucifer" was originally written in ancient Hebrew as "Haylel" (or Hilal), the Arabic word for the Islamic crescent symbol. The Book of Revelation speaks of a future time when this Babylonian system is finally destroyed. The expression "Babylon is fallen, is fallen..." is used in chapters 14 and 18. The only other scripture in the Bible where the identical phrase can be found is in Isaiah 21:9, where Isaiah describes his vision of the end times.

According to ancient Sumerian texts, Enlil (a.k.a.
Haylel
or
Baalthazar
) and
Enki
(
Elohim
) have been at war since Elohim created mankind, and precisely because of it. Their age-long conflict (and World War III) will soon be concluded. If Baalthazar is victorious, mankind will be extinguished in a final, global holocaust. Humanity's only hope of survival lies with Elohim and his son,
Immanuel
.

The sons of the "Father of Terror" continue marching toward their destiny. The predicted outcome of this final, global war is now being debated between those who believe biblical prophecy and those who subscribe to fundamental Islamic beliefs and foresee themselves victorious in destroying the nation of Israel. Those who adhere to neither may ultimately be forced to make a decision. Only those who survive this global war will be able to confirm through hindsight which side of this conflict is now being driven by false prophecies. The true identity and character of God will then be evident to the remainder of humanity... if we survive at all.

Introduction

According to a current
list of reported UFO sightings
, few documented reports exist, by comparison, from the time of
Classical antiquity
until the 1940's. However, one of the first and most reliable descriptions of a
mass UFO sighting
was written by the historian, Josephus, following the siege and destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D., when he wrote the following:

"...Thus there was a star resembling a sword, which stood over the city, and a comet, that continued a whole year. Thus also before the Jews' rebellion, and before those commotions which preceded the war, when the people were come in great crowds to the feast of unleavened bread, on the eighth day of the month Xanthicus, [Nisan, 66 A.D.] and
at the ninth hour of the night, so great a light shone round the altar and the holy house, that it appeared to be bright day time; which lasted for half an hour.
This light seemed to be a good sign to the unskillful, but was so interpreted by the sacred scribes, as to portend those events that followed immediately upon it.
