"
Woe
to you, Sinners, on the day of strong anguish, ye who afflict the righteous and burn them with fire: ye shall be requited according to your works.
Woe
to you, ye obstinate of heart, who watch in order to devise wickedness: therefore shall fear come upon you and there shall be none to help you.
Woe
to you, ye sinners, on account of the words of your mouth, and on account of the deeds of your hands which your godlessness has wrought, in blazing flames burning worse than fire shall ye burn."
--The Epistle of Enoch 100:7-9

The times of the first woes of the Book of Revelation have long since past, but the message is still the same. A time of retribution is at hand when none of the guilty will escape justice. Their victims will be avenged, and the righteous will be rewarded for their faith and perseverance in the days ahead.

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
--Matthew 24:29-31.

9. The Human Genome

When John the Baptist was calling the Pharisees and Sadducees a brood of vipers, then warning them of the wrath to come upon them and urging them to repent, he further warned them that their genetic links to Abraham would not save them and spoke the following words:
"God is able from these stones to raise up children unto Abraham."
--Matthew 3:9
(also in
Luke 3:8
). Some of those who were listening probably thought his statement absurd.

The
Human Genome Project
was funded by the U.S. government and research began in 1990. A working draft of the
human genome
was announced in 2000 and its final goals were successfully completed in 2003. The human genome is the complete set of genetic information for Homo sapiens. As of 2014, only about 8% of the total human genome remains unsequenced.

According to the NOVA series, "
What Darwin Never Knew
", when comparing the DNA between chimpanzees and chickens, scientists found a difference in only two letters within the gene that controls the growth of the cortex of the brain. However, when they compared the differences in this same gene between chimps and humans, there were eighteen letters that have changed. Birds have been on Earth approximately 150 million years, but the great apes did not come into existence until 90 million years later. The transition from the great apes to the earliest humans happened roughly 2.5 million years ago, but modern humans have only existed for around 200,000 years, according to evolutionary scientists. Natural evolution can hardly account for such a massive change in our DNA from early primates to modern man. However, gene manipulation certainly can and does. Biblical descriptions of seraphim and cherubim suggest cross-species manipulation of early and possibly extinct reptiles, birds, and various mammals, including humans.

Each individual's genome is uniquely different. Those differences can now be located, examined and identified.
DNA profiling
(also called DNA testing, DNA typing, or genetic fingerprinting) is the technique employed by forensic scientists to identify individuals by their respective DNA profiles.

Human genes are composed of
nucleic acids
such as RNA and DNA, which are made from smaller units called
nucleotides
.
Nucleic acid analogues
have been designed and synthesized by chemists using the basic elements phosphorus, oxygen, hydrogen, carbon and nitrogen... all of which are found on the surface and in Earth's rocks.

Whether or not John the Baptist knew any of this is doubtful, but he knew enough to know that his statement to the false religious leaders of his day was a truthful one.

Elohim and his team of scientists went through a similar process as the scientists involved in research for the Human Genome Project and subsequent research groups. Not long after he created the first human beings, Elohim had not only mapped the "human genome", but those of Adam, Eve, and their offspring. He has since diligently maintained a record of the genome of each and every person whose names are written in the Book of Life. Those whose names have been removed, along with their genome records, are moved to a separate file called the Book of Judgement.

After at least six thousand years of genetic testing and research, Elohim's team of scientists are now able to re-create (or resurrect) any individual who has ever lived. His plans include doing just that. But for the majority of people alive today and for most of those who have already died, those plans will have to wait.

Additionally, Elohim is able to correct any and all genetic defects in an individual genome and has (on at least one occasion) demonstrated his ability to fuse a human genome with the twenty-fourth pair of chromosomes shared by all the Anunna that provide them with a level of health and longevity that we humans were denied when we were created. The final phase of Elohim's "human genome project" has already begun.

The
Dormition of the Mother of God
is celebrated annually by the Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Churches. As a
Great Feast
day, it commemorates the death of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and her bodily resurrection before being taken up into heaven. According to Orthodox and Eastern Catholic tradition, Mary was living in the house of the Apostle John, in Jerusalem, when the Archangel Gabriel revealed to her that her death would occur three days later. The apostles, who were scattered throughout the world, are said to have been miraculously transported to be at her side when she died. The sole exception was Thomas, who was delayed. He is said to have arrived three days after her death in a cloud above her tomb and saw her body ascending into heaven. Mary had been buried in Gethsemane, according to her request. When the apostles went to the grave, her body was gone, leaving a sweet fragrance. An apparition is said to have confirmed that Immanuel had taken her body to heaven.

Apparently, Mary was the first among many to be given life again, before the prophesied "First Resurrection". Prophets as far back as Enoch knew of Elohim's plans for the resurrection of a great number of individuals upon the return of Immanuel.

"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying,
Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all..
."
--Jude 1:14-15

According to the Apostle Paul, who wrote
1 Thessalonians 4:14
, Immanuel will bring with him to Earth those
resurrected dead
who died faithfully believing in him.

Although it would be no small feat to clone a person, today's scientists have the knowledge and technology to do so. Many of the scientists who are capable of doing so are engaged in genetic research that has already made significant inroads toward curing disease, increasing food production, and making our lives better in a number of ways. It is assumed that a clone would appear and behave in many ways like a younger, identical twin to that of the donor and that both would exist as completely separate persons, without having any shared experiences or shared memories. However, without any subjects to study, this is only conjecture.

The Bible teaches that none will escape the "righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds."
--Romans 2:5-6
. In other words, we are more than just our brains and bodies. Our mind, our experiences, our tendencies, our character, our decisions and our actions all work together to create our consciousness and that which some refer to as a soul. For those who are resurrected, their deeds will follow them.

Creating a clone would be one thing. To correct all of one's
genetic defects
, such as those that result in cancer and other conditions like Alzheimer's, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, hemophilia, or sickle cell anaemia, would be an even greater achievement. But to transfer either a living or a deceased person's identity and character (or soul) from one body to another is beyond the scope of most people's imagination. Elohim is apparently capable of doing even that, regardless of what we consider realistically possible, or how limited our human imaginations.

When the Bible talks about death, it is referred to as a state of sleep. In death, a person is like someone in a deep coma and completely unaware of anything, oblivious to the passage of time.

Reportedly, there were those in ancient times who had the ability to awaken the souls of the dead from their natural state in order to communicate with them. The practice was so abhorrent to Elohim, that he imposed the death penalty in ancient Israel for anyone found practicing such witchcraft.

"Now Samuel had died, and all Israel had lamented for him and buried him in Ramah, in his own city. And Saul had put the mediums and the spiritists out of the land.

Then the Philistines gathered together, and came and encamped at Shunem. So Saul gathered all Israel together, and they encamped at Gilboa. When Saul saw the army of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart trembled greatly. And when Saul inquired of the Lord, the Lord did not answer him, either by dreams or by Urim or by the prophets.

Then Saul said to his servants,
'Find me a woman who is a medium, that I may go to her and inquire of her.'

And his servants said to him,
'In fact, there is a woman who is a medium at En Dor.'

So Saul disguised himself and put on other clothes, and he went, and two men with him; and they came to the woman by night. And he said,
'Please conduct a séance for me, and bring up for me the one I shall name to you.'

Then the woman said to him,
'Look, you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off the mediums and the spiritists from the land. Why then do you lay a snare for my life, to cause me to die?'

And Saul swore to her by the Lord, saying,
'As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.'

Then the woman said,
'Whom shall I bring up for you?'

And he said,
'Bring up Samuel for me.'

When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman spoke to Saul, saying,
'Why have you deceived me? For you are Saul!'

And the king said to her,
'Do not be afraid. What did you see?'

And the woman said to Saul,
'I saw a spirit [Elohim] ascending out of the earth.'

So he said to her,
'What is his form?'

And she said,
'An old man is coming up, and he is covered with a mantle.'
And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground and bowed down.

Now Samuel said to Saul,
'Why have you disturbed me by bringing [waking] me up?'

And Saul answered,
'I am deeply distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me and does not answer me anymore, neither by prophets nor by dreams. Therefore I have called you, that you may reveal to me what I should do.'

Then Samuel said:
'So why do you ask me, seeing the Lord has departed from you and has become your enemy? And the Lord has done for Himself as He spoke by me. For the Lord has torn the kingdom out of your hand and given it to your neighbor, David...'
"
--1 Samuel 28:3-17
(NKJV)

According to the Gospel of John, when Lazarus died, Immanuel informed his disciples.

"He said to them,
'Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.'

Then His disciples said,
'Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.'
However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep.

Then Jesus said to them plainly,
'Lazarus is dead...'
" --John 11:11-14
(NKJV)

Two separate events of a similar nature are described in the Bible which could easily go unnoticed, except for the fact that the specific words used to describe what happened are only used once in the Old Testament and once in the New Testament.

The
Septuagint
is a version of the Bible that was translated from Hebrew and early manuscripts of the New Testament into Greek during the second century A.D. It served as the basis for the Old Latin, Slavonic, Syriac, Old Armenian, Old Georgian and Coptic versions of the Christian Old Testament. It employs a Greek verb which means "to breathe on, or infuse." In the Septuagint, this particular verb only occurs twice... in Genesis 2:7 and John 20:22. It was obvious to the translators that there was more taking place in the these two scenarios than mere "breathing".
