cloak

his

laugh

cringed.

Jagged,
blackened
teeth
protruded
through
the
dec

flesh.
Pus
and
hair
decorated
his teeth,
adding
to
the
stench
of
his
breath.

tangled
tendrils
of
hair
slithered
over
his
scalp and

his
face,
hanging
from
the
ug

brownish

le
atop
his
right

y

ocket.

in
his
captivi

.

Thalius
hoped
his
plan

as
going
to

ork
and

ake all
this

orthwhile.

slow

released
his
grip
and
let
Thalius
collapse
back
into
a
heap
on
the
ground. “You’ve

old

and
if
I’m

satisfied,

is

to
have
to
be quicker
than
my
teeth.

Thalius
straightened
his
cloak
and
looked
Jager
in
the

cocked
his

the
hunger
in
my

ch
