“Fine. I guess so.”

“Good. Now relax and stay for a bit.”  She leaned towards him and kissed him, exploring his mouth with her tongue. His dick started to rise. He couldn’t stand to be around her right now but he couldn’t fight man instincts. He pulled her close holding her body against his. His dick was starting to rub uncomfortably against his boxers. He snatched open her shirt, making the buttons ping off the table. He moved her bra to expose her breasts. He looked at her and felt nothing. His started to lose the feeling in his pants. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes. Anybody but her would do. The kiss he shared with Tammy the other day came to mind. Opening his eyes, he pictured Sam as Tammy. The feeling came back with a vengeance. It was wrong but it was there. He ran his fingers over her nipples, making them tighten. “Mmh Ty that feels nice.” His hand slipped into her panties. Slipping a finger in, she cried out. He planted soft kisses on her neck and mouth. She surrendered to him. He scooped her off her feet and took her inside the bedroom, dropping her into her bed. Soon he was sliding into her body, making sure he remembered a condom this time.  After he was done with her, making sure she was asleep, he took off like a bat out of hell back to his place.

Tammy was in the middle of her bed, reading more of the journal. She finally got to current entries.

March 7

Ty asked me why do we have to use a condom every time we have sex. I told him that I didn’t want to get pregnant
but it was my past that destroyed that dream. This has been causing a lot of troubles between us. I hate that we fight. I wish we didn’t. I need him in my life.

June 19

Ever since the incident with Nick with me running away, things have changed so drastically. I can feel that I’m losing Ty and it’s all my fault. Why can’t I let him in? Cause of things with Nick that’s why! After all these years that man still scares me and keeps me an emotional prisoner. The bottle called my name and I felt better. Ty found me in New York and I never saw him so pissed off. He screamed at me and made me feel like straight shit while dropping the bomb that my mom knows what Nick has done to me. Now all this weight that I thought that would be gone stayed. Mom stabbed Nick! I had to fly out to give a statement. Seeing Mom face while I had to tell everything that happen to me almost crushed my soul. Just when I thought things couldn’t get worse, I come back to find Ty in bed with some random bitch. The last person who I thought wouldn’t hurt me did. More sleepless night. The bottle is calling. Funny how everyone has a secret.

Tammy closed the journal and placed it on her nightstand. What Madison said was true. Everyone did have a secret. This whole city was full of them. She didn’t know how to feel about Ty hurting her friend. Putting two and two together the woman Madison talked about had to be Sam. Tammy definitely couldn’t stand the sneaky bitch. In honor of her friend, she would go out and have a drink in the dress they promised to hit the town with. She went to her closet and pulled the dress out of its bag, carefully laying it down on the bed.

Chapter 11

Ty stood in the back by the fence with a beer in his hand. Sam had dragged him here but disappeared the moment they arrived. He was glad that Sam had also invited Gary so he had someone to talk to. He wanted his space from the girl, but she showed no signs of letting him ago. Madison was dead two months and he needed time to rethink his life. He hadn’t seen Tammy since they kissed and she lingered on his mind after thinking about her during sex with Sam. Why he kept thinking about her in this way? It was wrong as hell. Only explanation he could think of cause by doing so he felt he would be close to Madison. Fuck up way of thinking. Damn Tammy. He kinda wished he had her. Since his breakdown, he was one confused man. He almost laughed aloud.

“Wha’chu over here smirkin’ about nigga?” Gary walked up on him.

“Thinkin’ about life man. The shit it’s putting me through.”

“What’s wrong? I thought you and Sam was straight.”

“In her mind, we are. I’m feelin’ a lot of resentment towards her for a lot of the shit that went down between me and my girl.” He told him.

“Yeah I heard man. You doin’ ok?” He nodded.

“Most days.”

“Nigga I don’t blame you. Ol girl was bad as hell and had it bad for you. Shit happens.”

“It does.”

“Now I know you though so which female got you smirkin though.” Ty smiled.

“All up in mine though. Naw I’m a friend of mines.”

“You and these goddamn friends. Give me some. You hoggin them broads. What this one like?”

“Tammy. She just been on my mind heavy. She’s Madison’s best friend. She was at the house when I helped Josefina pack up. Green eyes. Silky black hair. Nice breasts and curvy ass thighs.

“Damn Ty. Lemme get her number.”

“Fuckin’ Sam one time I thought about her.” Gary shook his head.

“And I thought she was just a friend.” he teased.

“She is.”

“Then why would a friend know these things?”

“Shut the hell up Gary!” Gary laughed. Sam walked over to them.

“What y’all laughing at?”

“Some stupid shit that happen in the garage.”

“Oh. Well come meet my momma and cousin with his wife.” She pulled Ty by the arm to the group of people around the grill. “Hey everyone this is Ty. Ty this is my momma, Stephanie, my cousin, Sutton, and his wife, Victoria.” Sutton and Ty locked eyes. They both was taken back.

“Hello.” The momma greeted.

“Hey.” Victoria had a smirk on her face and Ty knew shit was probably gonna pop off.

“Small fuckin’ world huh nigga?” Sutton said.

“Yea. Yo I gotta go.”

“Why? You haven’t met everyone?” Sam asked.

“I met enough. Trust me. Excuse me.” He shook Sam and left, passing Gary.

“Everything straight?”

“Ay drop me off somewhere away from here.”

“I got’chu. Come on.”

Tammy dug in her trunk, cussing out her car and herself. She hated when her stuff would tumble out the bags. She was shoving the chips back in the bag when she heard her name being called.

“Tammy!” She looked up and turned around. Ty was climbing out a white SVU. The guy behind the wheel was eyeing her heavy.

“What’s wrong?”

“I need to talk to you.”

“Okay. Follow me.” She threw the last of her items in the bag and closed her trunk.

“I’ll hit you up later.” The guy nodded and drove off. “Let me.” Ty took her bags and followed her up the sidewalk to her front door. They went inside and Ty took the bags to the nearest table. He paced around the table.

“What’s goin’ on? You doin’ alright?”

“I let this girl drag me to this BBQ and guess who’s there smirkin’ and shit.”

“Who?”

“Sutton and his bitch wife.”

“Victoria.”

“Yeah that bitch.” He snapped.

“Why was they there?”

“She’s fuckin’ Sutton’s cousin.”

“Are you kiddin’ me?!”

“Dead serious.” She wondered if she should voice her concerns to him about Sam.

“You don’t think they-”

“Set me the fuck up. Yes I do. I knew that nigga wouldn’t take the hint when Mattie fired his ass but he kept coming around. I bet he sent his bitch ass cousin at me to hurt Mattie on purpose and like a dumb ass...” He swung, punching the wall. Tammy jumped.

“Okay. Just calm down alright. Don’t tear up my place alright. Have a seat and I’ll get you something to drink.” He plopped down in a chair and Tammy grabbed him a water out her fridge. She leaned against the opposite wall.

“I can’t believe he would go that far to do this to hurt her. I told her to leave him alone and something wasn’t right about him or her. No offense.”

“Don’t bother me. That bitch ain’t shit to me. I can’t believe this.”

“Well what are you gonna do?”

“I ain’t lettin’ them get to me and Sam ain’t gettin’ away from this either.” The sun setting broke through the window. Tammy walked over and closed the curtains, not paying attention to the green accord sitting in the parking lot.

“Okay. Well make yourself comfortable. There’s food here and I got water, pop, or beer. I’m going to take a shower.” Back in the privacy of her room, she stripped and stood under the waiting water.  So she was right about Sam all this time. She did have an agenda. She was happy that Ty was longer with her and could move on to grieve. He couldn’t really do so with her breathing down his neck all the time. Tammy scrubbed herself clean and washed her hair. Climbing out, she put on her favorite red cotton robe and shook out her mass of wet curls that she got from her Puerto Rican mother. She made a mental note that she must go to San Diego to visit her mother and cousin, Miguel. She was busy combing her hair that she didn’t hear Ty sneak up on her until he was grabbing her by the neck, applying the right pressure to her throat. “You scared me.”

“Sorry.”

“What are you doin’?”

“Feelin’ yo pulse as the excitement rises.”
This is wrong. So wrong,
she thought. He turned her around and pulled her close, covering her lips with his. She responded by clinging to him. He pulled the string on her robe, revealing her naked body. She pushed herself into his hardness. He lifted her onto the sink, taking turns sucking her nipples. The pleasure raced through her body, causing her to moan loudly. He kissed all over her body, leaving goose bumps in their wake. Tammy freed his dick, stroking it with her soft hands. He thrust himself back and front in her hands. He kissed along her stomach then buried his head between her legs. The pleasure was exhilarating. The intense feeling building up.

“Ty please wait.” She begged throwing her head back climaxing. In the middle of it, Ty stood plunging in deep. Tammy’s body tensed up at the immediate combination of pleasure and pain. She cried out.

“Tammy…damn you feel so good...and tight like a virgin.” She grabbed his shoulders and he kept going.

“Ty  ...we shoul-”

“Shh!”He picked her up and walked her to the bed. He fell back into her body. Tammy wrapped her legs around him. The air became hot as he pound away at her body. Ty’s phone went off. The ringer letting him know it was Sam.

“You have your phone on?’ Tammy gasped, pushing him away.

“Unfortunately.” He reached over into his pocket and answered. “Yes Sam?”

“Where you go?”

“Wha’chu mean where I go. I left. I’m not about to be in dude face after the shit that went down.”

Tammy grabbed the sheet from under her and threw it on her body, running into the bathroom, locking the door behind her. She looked in the mirror.
What am I doing? What have I done? I just gave this man my virginity. I had morals to at least save myself . What the hell did I do?
She screamed at herself.

“I’ll see you when I see you Sam. Don’t call me.” He knocked at the door. “Tammy? I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine Ty. Just leave okay. This was wrong. We can’t see each other again. Not like this.”

“Tammy. It’s fine. Who’s gonna know?”

“Me. Ty. I know. Please.” She could hear him moving around, getting dressed then the front door closed a few minutes later. Tammy sighed and got back into the shower to wash off the dirty feeling she had.

Sam drove back to the party. Everything she worked hard for blew up in her face. She didn’t expect for Ty and Sutton to actually seen each other or know. She knew he was done with her and her plan fell apart when she was almost there. She marched up to Sutton when she got back.

“Why didn’t you tell me that you actually had words with Ty before? All my hard work for nothing.”

“I told you not to take it this far. What you do? Actually started feelin’ the nigga.” He sneered at her.

“You asked me and sent me in. Why you send me in blind? I did what you ask and hurt the movie cunt but you fucked me in return Sutton. Now, me and him ain’t the same. You better do something to fix this or Ima tell Victoria you still ain’t over that movie hoe.” She stomped off into the house. Victoria was in the living room, changing the baby.

              “You okay?”

“Naw the nigga just flipped out on me and broke it off.”

              “Damn girl. I’m sorry.”

“He got the nerve to be at some other bitch house right now.” She spat.

“You followed him?!”

“Hell yeah I did. I know where this bitch lives and what kind of car she drives. I seen her before at the funeral.”

“What she look like?”

“Black hair...funny lookin eyes…I didn’t get a real close look from the car. Shapely and she looked mixed with something like Dominican or Puerto Rican. You know how they be lookin.’” She described.

“Only person that kinda comes close to that was that bitch’s friend. I forget her name starts with a T.”

“Oh so that’s Tammy. Yeah that bitch was next to the mom at the funeral and kept giving me side eyes with the sister, Carmelle. What kind of name is Carmelle?” Sam sat down and tickled Michelle’s neck causing her to squeal.

“No class havin’ people.”

Josefina stared out the windows of her store, unaware of the customers. Several of her workers picked up on her mood and kept people away from her.  Losing Madison, put her in a small stage of depression.

“Senora Gonzalez where do you want the blue silk? It just came in.”

“On the shelf behind the counter. Thank you Melody.” The store clerk nodded and went to place the pallet. Tammy walked in, making the door ding.

“Josefina.”

“Hi sweetie. How are you?”
