“God, I need to be inside you,” I said, desperate for more of her. I was already growing hard again.

“Shhh, let me take care of you this time,” she whispered.

I was ready to take her and swing our bodies, when Audrey was already there, settling above my hips, her sweet little wet pussy stroking my growing length as she moved. Her body above me as she pleasured herself while riding along my cock that was already hard for her, it was something I never thought I would see.

Her heavy breasts were perfect while her nipples were hard and pink, begging for attention. I was set to suck them, my hand already on her stomach, but then Audrey’s body trembled and her moans filled the moan, revealing her orgasm. I didn’t let her finish, though, I sit while grabbing my erection and plunged myself inside her, her insides so tight I thought I would climax myself.

She screamed my invasion as my arms wrapped around her and I started to move with rapid movements. A secondary orgasm hit her on top the one she was already having, tightening her body to mine even more.

“I’ll never get tired of you,” I said in my lustful state.

And I never was. Getting tired of her was not an option. In every moment we were together, she brought something new, something better. I would never be ready to let that go. Her body still moved along with mine as she enveloped my neck with strong arms and watched me as I made love to her. Our noses touched and I filled her mouth with my tongue. Her hips started to move faster, her moans breaking our brief kiss as she threw her head back.

I kissed jaw, my mouth and tongue lowered to her neck and I sucked her there. I teased her with my teeth, then kissed again.

Her moans filled the room as our hips moved together in a steady rhythm.

“I’m not ready to let you go,” her voice suddenly sounded hurt, and I didn’t like that sound in her throat. Not even her face that frowned.

“Who said anything about letting you go?” I said, gazing at her eyes that sparkled with doubt. “I’ll never let you go. You’re mine to keep.”

She started nodding. “I am.”

In that moment, I knew she was the one. I bit her lower lip and I kissed it better. Then, I was easy to change our position because she weighted next to nothing. Her back hit the mattress; her legs wrapped themselves around my waist as my mouth found her. I began to pound deep and hard inside her. We were both left grunting and moaning in each other’s mouths until another orgasm hit her as well as mine own.

Chapter Five

“What are you doing in my daddy’s bed?” came a voice that I knew too well.

With my heart racing, I opened my eyes and searched for her innocent face. “I…hmm.” What a child would say? “I had a nightmare.”

“I hate when that happens,” Rachel said while nodding. “See, I told you my daddy would protect you.”

“Yes, honey-bee. You were totally right.”

I that moment, when I was completely naked under the sheets, I thought I would feel guilty by all my actions, but I didn’t. Watching Rachel stand there, happier as I’ve never seen her before, I smiled. How could I feel guilty when the two people of the house were completely satisfied by my performance?

When something happens and you feel good, the people that you work with, especially the ones that are professional detectives, know something’s up with you. Everyone looked at me with a begging expression, as if I was going to scream and blur out all my secrets right in the middle of the precinct.

“Come on, mate, at least tell me. I’m your bloody partner,” Bobby said.

“We are standing in front of a murder board and you want to know what’s up with me because of that bloody bet.”

Bobby looked around and shrugged. “What bet? There’s no bet. You’re going mental, that’s the big news.” He saw me sigh and to scrub my eyes, the stress returning. “Look, mate. Clearly something good happened in your life.” Bobby put a hand on my shoulder and made me look at him. “And we are just happy for you. After all the horror we see every day and the people we meet, the scum of this earth, is nice to see you finally found someone that keeps you away from this.”

“I always had Rachel to put my mind away.”

“Yeah, mate, but there’s nothing compared to a woman’s love,” he murmured, smiling.

              “I guess you’re right.”

“So, it is a woman,” he said, just waiting for my conformation.

Sighing, I decided to quit. “Of course it’s a woman.”

“IT’S A WOMAN!” Bobby yelled, and then a lot of the guys punched the air and a few others just shook their heads, as if disappointed.

              “How much did you get?”

“Fifty quid straight to my pocket,” he winked at me. “Hey, Johnny,” Bobby pointed to our tech person. “You owe me fifty.”

“You a nasty little shit,” I told my partner.

“Yeah, I love you too, mate.”

As the day went by and I couldn’t put Audrey away from my mind, I decided to do something especial for her. I called Gloria and asked if she could picked up Rachel and stay with her for the night in her house. She accepted without a single thought. I said I wanted to show Audrey the city, and since I thought it would take a while and we were coming home late, I didn’t want Gloria driving home in the dusk of dawn.

When I got home, Audrey was waiting for me. It took me a while to formulate words as she looked stunning and beautiful standing there wearing a short and simple black dress that accentuated every curve in her body.

“Wow,” I cleared my throat. “You look amazing.”

              She smiled. “Thank you.”

“You just stand there, looking beautiful,” I said as I began to unknot my work tie. “I’ll go change and I’ll be right back.”

Not wanting to leave her without kissing her, feeling her skin against my own, I kissed her on the forehead. Her quick breathing soon invaded my neck, making me hot and needy for her. I left before I could do anything to stop the fire.

I dressed quickly, putting some black jeans and a white shirt. It was simple, but efficient. Especially when I walked in and saw the hunger in Audrey’s eyes when she saw me. We stared at each other in the middle of the living room, a few steps away from one another as the air seemed to thicken.

I was the one that stopped what was about to happen by walking to the door. “We should go.”

Audrey nodded as she picked her long overcoat. We walked into my car and moments later, I was driving her into a restaurant right next to London Eye. The silence was not good between us as the heat and sexual tension always seemed to take us hostage.

She knew it too, maybe that’s why she started talking. “I’ll never get used to sitting on this side of the car,” she said, smiling.

“Yeah, right, the Americans drive where you’re sitting right now. I always forget that.” I saw her nodding and swallowing hard. I knew she was nervous, anxious by the way her fingers didn’t stop playing with one another and how she didn’t stop biting her lower lip. “I want to know you better,” I finally said.

              “You do?”

“I don’t want only the lovemaking process between us. I want to get to know you. Know all your secrets,” I said, smiling, trying to get her to relax a little. “Even though I love when we do have sex, and believe me, they were the best sex I’ve had, I want more of you.” I cleared my throat when she didn’t say anything. I couldn’t risk a look because I was in the process of parking the car. “Am I making any sense?”

“Of course you are,” she finally confessed. “I want to know you too.”

“Okay, good. For a second there, I was afraid.” With the car now parked, I glanced at her. “Audrey.” The way she stared at me with those amazing dark eyes, as if she was ready to be fucked senseless only made things worse. “Come here,” I said, touching her cheek as we both leaned into one another.

Our lips touched. It was brief, sweet, with delicate moves and soft touching. I cut the contact before it was too late to come back from. I left the car and the cold air assaulted me. I moved to the other side of the car and met Audrey. I kissed her again and gave her my hand, in which she breathlessly took and intertwined our fingers.

We walked for a few minutes, and soon we were walking by the bridge that held Big Ben right next to it.

“I was here before, lots of times, but it never ceases to amaze me how a city can be this beautiful, especially at night.”

I nodded, suddenly wondering when and how she had been here before. The feeling of jealously took over me, something that I didn’t remember if I had ever felt in my life. I didn’t want to scare her, so I didn’t say anything.

We soon got to London Eye, which glowed blue at night. I took Audrey to a restaurant right next to it.

I saw and took every expression she made. She was utterly beautiful when she was surprised and saw something she liked. When we entered the restaurant, I noticed how her fingers trembled between mine. It was as though she was experiencing something new.

In which we were, I suppose.

Now, without her overcoat, looking as lovely as a royalty does, we were sitting by a table with a view that we could clearly see Big Ben, the London Eye and the river. Putting my hand on the table, I waited for her touch. In seconds, her palm was above my own. God, how I loved the feel of her.

After ordering our foods, I noticed that Audrey started to relax.

“Now, please tell me why did you decide to become an Au Pair.”

She cleared her throat and gave me a gentle smile. “As you know, children always was a huge part of my life. I adore them. But I decided to become an Au Pair because I wanted to change the air and experience something different.” Her smile was suddenly gone. “I wanted to get away.”

She knew the question I was about to ask. “From what?” Or was it a who?

“My…hmm…my brother passed away a few months ago,” she said, emotionless as she picked her glass of water and took a sip.

I sighed and closed my eyes. “I shouldn’t have started with that question. Forgive me.”

“It’s okay. You don’t need to apologize,” she said, sounding normal again. “I was preparing for his death for years before it actually happened.” She saw me frown. “Lucas had thyroid cancer. He was diagnosed when he was eleven, and the cancer took him when he turned sixteen. He was a fighter that little guy. He told me to start living my life as a grown up.” I watched her talk, mesmerized by the intensity of love I saw in her eyes and the way she talked about him. “He thought I spent too much time with children. That I needed to find a man to fall in love with.”

              “He was a smart one.”

She nodded, now excited. “Yeah, I see a lot of himself in Rachel. There are times I think about how they would be the best of friends. Even with the age difference. It’s weird.”

Her smile was enticing, completely captivating me. My stare was only interrupted because our food arrived.

“What about you? Why did you decide to become a detective chief inspector?”

Oh, boy. “It isn’t an easy way of saying it, so I’m just going to say it.” I noticed how she stopped moving her fork as her attention turned entirely to me. “My father was murdered when I was eight.”

“Oh, no,” she said, completely horrified. “Our questions are not good, are they?”

For some reason, that made me smile. “It’s just life. We are getting to know each other; these subjects would come out sooner or later.”

              Audrey nodded. “You’re right.”

A few seconds of silence passed because we began to enjoy the taste of food in our plates.

“I was inspired by the detectives that brought my father justice,” I continued. “I wanted to have that power in my hands. The power to help the people next to the victims. To know that the person who killed someone you love is behind bars our even dead, is the best thing I could give them.”

Audrey swallowed her food, than took a sip of wine that the waiter had brought moments before.

“I get it. I truly am. I just don’t like the danger around it.”

“You mean that guy that were in front of the house,” I said and she nodded.

“I don’t want to see you hurt. I care about you.”

I understood her. “Don’t worry. I take care of myself.”

Audrey looked down. “That doesn’t change how I feel. I do worry.”
