Read Falling Into You (Geek to Chic) Online
Authors: Nikki Brinks
Her hands
moved to tangle into his hair, pulling him closer.
Their tongues danced, teeth bit and hands
started to roam.
She pulled back breathless.
“You see, I can remark on your new look after
your wonderful declaration, because I already said the words to you.”
She smiled.
“That broke
me, sweetheart.
When you whispered the
words I so wanted to say.”
He kissed her
chastely.
“Say them again.”
“I love you,
Derek.”
Without a word
back to her, he puts a few bills on the table to cover the bill and carried her
out of the restaurant.
She was
laughing.
“Where are we going?”
“Well, I
believe I said I was taking you on an island retreat.”
“Geez Derek, I
said I was sorry.
You know I didn’t mean
to.
Stop scowling at me!”
Roni laughed as she watched Derek roll around
on the sand.
Once again, she had wracked
him when she tripped over him.
“Seriously Roni,
can’t you aim for another body part?”
He
said pulling her to him.
“You know you
will have to make this up to me, right?” He wiggled his eyebrows at her.
She
giggled.
They had been at their private
beach house for two weeks now and nothing could have been more perfect.
He had left all of his electronic gadgets at
home.
The first few days he had
withdrawals.
He even kept reaching in
his pocket for a phone that wasn’t there.
They slept late, ate breakfast on the deck, and swam in the ocean… sometimes
they even did these things with clothes on.
“And how am I
to make it up to you?”
Her hand was
sliding down his chest.
Dipping into his
bathing suit.
He grabbed her hand before
she could make it to the prize she sought. She pouted and he laughed.
Suddenly he
looked nervous and mischievous all at the same time.
“Well, you will definitely be playing the
part of the naughty nurse later so that you can check to make sure my poor
friend down there isn’t injured too badly.”
He nuzzled her neck.
She leaned her
head back, giving him better access to her neck.
“I believe I was attempting to play dirty
nurse before someone stopped me.”
“Well before
you decided to punish my favorite body part…”
Roni
huffed.
“It was an accident.”
Derek just
laughed.
“As I was saying before you
tripped, I actually brought you out here to talk to you about something.”
His hands were wandering over her body,
lighting her up.
She really didn’t want
to talk right now.
She had other things
she wanted to be doing.
“Mmmm, let’s
talk later.”
“It will only
take a minute, then you can have your wicked way with me.”
He looked at her his face bright with a
smile.
“Ok, but hurry
up.
This nurse has a patient, she needs
to check on, over and over again.”
It
was her turn to wiggle her eyebrows at him.
He laughed
again.
It was so good to see him so
relaxed.
“I promise this will be fast as
long as you answer my question correctly.”
“And what
question would that be?”
He looked her
in the eyes, placing one hand on her cheek.
“Move in with me when we get back?
I like waking up to you next to me and going to sleep with you, even if
you do kick in your sleep.
I don’t want
to be without you.
Say yes.”
Her eyes
popped out of her head.
A slow smile
creeping across her face.
“You don’t
think it is too soon?”
She rubbed his
chest as she spoke.
Already knowing how
she was going to answer.
“No, not at
all.”
He was extremely confident in his
response.
She wanted to
mess with him for a bit, so instead of answering right away she started to kiss
his chest and neck.
Sucking on one of
his nipples.
Letting her hands run
freely over his body.
He moaned a
little.
“Roni, honey, not that I don’t
love what you’re doing to me right now, but, um, are you going to answer
me?”
She
giggled.
He was desperate for both an
answer and for her to continue her exploration of his body.
“Well, as long as the patient checks out ok,
and is working perfectly after his
accident
,
my answer is yes.”
He kissed her
deeply, she was suddenly underneath him.
“I knew you only wanted me for my body.”
He winked and then start to grind his hips into her.
She could feel in her core that everything
about him was working just fine.
“Does
that prove the patient is going to be just fine?”
“Oh yes, I think
his recovery is coming along just fine.
Let see if he can still perform.” Within a matter of minutes they were
both naked and he was sliding slowly into her.
They made slow
love on the beach, afterwards making plans for their future, together.
