Suddenly he
moved quicker than she thought possible and she was splayed out under him.
 
His tongue slamming into her mouth.
 
His hands cupping her face.
 
She moaned as she felt him, pressing his cock
into her.
 
In one powerful thrust he was
fully seated in her.
 
He broke the
kiss.
 
Pumping slowly into her, he held
her gaze.
 
Strong emotion came off of
Derek in crashing waves.
 

Neither of
them spoke.
 
They simply stared into each
other’s eyes as the pleasure of their love making took them over the edge.
 
After, they settled close together in each
other’s arms and slept.
 
Neither moving
out of the comfort of the other’s arms.
 

Almost a month
after the original meeting was due to take place Collin and his partners walked
into the headquarters of CPST.
 
Although
they had become fast friends, Derek knew that friendship had nothing to do with
business.
 
His lawyers had put together a
lucrative deal to make Collin, Gavin, Roc and Phin partners in CPST and all of
the products they have produced in the past five years would also become the
proprietary property of CPST.
 
Both
companies would benefit from this merger.
 

Even with the
benefits the merger would bring to both companies, Derek was nervous that
something would fall through.
 
He needed
Collin if he had any hope of expanding his business without having to work
every minute of every day.
 
He was
already pushing himself past reason.
 
And
now he had a reason to want a life outside of the office.
 
Since the night she has come to his rescue
with Netty, the two of them had fallen into a comfortable routine.
 

They would
work the day away, Derek on his best behavior, than they would eat dinner out
and head to either his house or hers.
 
Sometimes they would hang out with Alex or Izzy, trying hard to keep
them apart.
 
Otherwise, they would watch
TV, have great sex and fall asleep in each other’s arms.
 
He, of course, would only sleep for a few
hours before waking to work on his laptop in bed.
 
Roni, didn’t seem to mind him working at
night as long as she was assured that he ate, relaxed a little and slept a few
hours.
 

He heard the
beautiful sound of Roni’s laughter and knew that Collin the endless flirt was
here for the meeting.
 
He shook his
head.
 
He exited his office and walked up
behind Roni wrapping his arm around her waist possessively.
 
His caveman wanted to make sure Collin knew
Roni was his girl.
 

Collin only
smiled at him.
 
Derek always wore a suit
to the office no matter what day of the week it was or how many hours he was
going to put in.
 
Collin was the
opposite.
 
Even though today after the
tour and brief meeting, they would be sitting down with lawyers and signing the
final papers, Collin was dressed in jeans and a comic book themed T-shirt.
 
“Hey man, the other guys are over at Alex’s
office.” Collin said, giving the traditional guy head nod in greeting.

“I can only
imagine what the four of them are up to.
 
Probably planning a night of strippers and tequila and finding a way to
bill the company for the festivities.”
 
Derek responded with laughter.
 

“Oh, if anyone
can find a way to write that off as a company expense it would be Alex and
Phin.
 
This place is amazing.
 
A little uptight for our taste, but we will
work on that.”

“I told you
that you guys were the only tech guys who wore suits.”
 
Roni giggled.
 

“Yeah, yeah I
know I have heard it for years.
 
It was
my idea to keep things, professional.”

“You mean
distant and lacking all personality.”
 
Roni smiled at him again.
 

Both Collin
and Derek laughed.
 
“Wow, she has you
nailed dude.
 
You should listen to the
woman.
 
Loosen up give this place some
life.”
 

“I am getting
the impression that I will have very little say in the dress code once this
deal is signed.”

Roni suddenly
looked extremely serious, almost worried.
 
She quickly turned to Collin. Frantically grabbing his arm.
 
“We need to rush him to the hospital!
Something is seriously wrong if he is willing to concede control of something
as important as the dress code.”

She was able
to hold onto her serious face for all of three seconds after delivering the
joke.
 
She and Collin practically fell
over laughing, at his expensive.
 
He shook
his head at the two of them and laughed softly.
 
A few short weeks ago, he would not have dreamed of giving up control of
even the most mundane detail of his company.
 
Now, he was allowing his managers to run their departments with limited
interference. Now he was no cured of his obsessive behavior, but he was moving
in the right direction.
 

“Funny, now I
am never going to let the suits go.” Derek looked passed the two jokesters to
see the other men heading his way.
 
“Now
that we are all together. Time to let you boys look around.
 
Remember, you have not signed on the dotted
line yet, so try to break anything.” He looked at Roni at the end of the
comment.
 

“Hey, I
haven’t broken anything here at the office.” Roni stated with her hands on her
hips.

We all
laughed. “The key words were ‘at the office.’ That is her second iPad, she
managed to run over the first one at her house.”
 
Alex stated.

“You’re lucky
it was the iPad she ran over and not you S.A.” Izzy’s voice came from behind
the crowd of men.

“Would you
have given me mouth to mouth if she had, sweetheart?”
 
Alex countered, putting his arm around Izzy’s
shoulders, pulling her close.
 

This was a dangerous move if Alex intended to keep said
arm.
 
Roni watched the two in absolute
amusement.
 
Izzy gave Alex a flirty smile
as though she was enjoying his touch.
 
Then she grabbed his fingers and bent them and his wrist back at a
painful looking angle.
 
Alex let out a
little grunt of pain as Izzy continued to pull back until Alex was on the
ground.
 
She looked down at him with a
wicked smile on her face.
 
“No,
sweetheart, but I would back the car up and run you over again to put you out
of your misery.” She dropped his hand. “You ready to go Roni?”
 

They all laughed a little as Alex rose to his
feet, rubbing his fingers and wrist.
 
“Little does she know, I like it rough.”
 
He mumbled.
 

“I like her technic.
 
Any woman who can bring that man to his knees
deserves a reward.”
 
Collin laughed.
 
“Where are you two going?
 
I thought you were our tour guide for the
day, Roni?”

“Nope, too much testosterone in the air for
me today.
 
Plus, I need a dress for the
Children’s Charity Gala next week.
 
And
Izzy is my shopping buddy for the day.”
 
Roni explained as she dug her purse out of her desk drawer.
 
Derek ducked back as she swung her large
purse onto her shoulder.
 
She
giggled.
 

“Just being careful, honey.” Derek stated
with a shrug.
 
“That purse in your hands
is a deadly weapon.”

“Ha ha, you’re so funny.
 
Just for that I am buying a floor length dress
that has a turtle neck top.
 
No skin show
for you.”
 
She playfully scowled at
him.
 
“And remember, the only way I am
going to this damn thing is if you promise to leave your phone behind for the
night!
 
This is a no work night
buddy.”
 
She poked his chest for
emphasis.
 

Derek laughed.
 
“Yes, I remember the deal.
 
Although I may have to have the phone
surgically removed. By the way, since as of today, you will be a board member
of CPST you are expected to be in attendance at the gala as well.
 
So grab a date and a tux.”
 

“A date?
 
Crap.
 
Hey Izzy, are you going to
this gala with the dip shit you just assaulted or are you free to go with
me?”
 
Collin asked with a playful grin on
his face.
 
Yes, they were all trying to
determine what exactly was going on between Izzy and Alex.
 

Izzy’s eyes became the size of the
moon.
 
She seemed to stop blinking and
breathing.
 
Alex laughed and moved closer
to her, this time keeping his hands in his pockets and bumping hips with her
instead to get her attention.
 
“Yes, Izzy
are you going with a gorgeous, rich, brilliant man you shamelessly assaulted
for no reason, or are you going to go with a grown man who is wearing a
Superman on his shirt.”
 
Alex drawled.

“Well, since I hate the rich bastard next to
me, and the nice man in the Superman shirt actually asked, I think I will go
with Collin.”
 
She turned her full
attention to Collin. “What time would you like to pick me up?”

Before Collin could answer, Derek stepped
in.
 
“Well, since I will be picking Roni
up, we can make it a double date.
 
We
will pick you girls up at 7:00.
 
Now
gentleman, let’s get this show on the road, shall we?”
 
He kissed Roni chastely on the lips.
 
“Bye baby have fun shopping.”

“Bye boys behave and be nice to the other
kids on the playground.”
 
Roni giggled
out before she turned to wave her goodbyes to the other guys.
 

As Izzy and Roni reached the elevator they
heard a sound that sounded like someone getting hit and Collin yell.
 
“What the fuck was that for asshole?”
 

“I don’t think they are going to play nice
today.”
 
Izzy laughed

“Me either and I think it is all your
fault.”
 
Roni laughed back.
 
With that the two girls left to buy dresses
for the gala that was looking more interesting by the minute.

The tour and paperwork had taken much longer
than Derek had anticipated.
 
Now he was
finishing up returning important emails so that he could get out of the office
and into Roni’s bed.
 
He had grown
accustomed to seeing her all day at work and then all night at home.
 
He didn’t really like being away from
her.
 
He laughed at his own obsessive
thought pattern.
 

Logically, he knew that he could not be with
her every minute of the day and that they needed to still have their own
lives.
 
Emotionally, however, he wanted
to tie her to him and never let her go.
 
It was official he had met the woman of his dreams and was planning on
telling her that he loved her soon.
 
He
hoped it went as well in real life as it did in all those chick flicks.
 

“What the fuck has you gazing into the
distance all dreamy eyed?
 
Oh, is Derek
in love?”
 
Alex asked in a sing song
voice as he unbuttoned his jacket, folding his large body into the guest chair
in front of Derek’s desk.

Derek’s entire body stilled.
 
Am I
that obvious?
He didn’t want to talk to Alex about this and at the same
time he did.
 

Alex laughed boomed through his office.
 
“Shit, dude.
 
You are in love.”
 
Alex rubbed his
chin.
 
“Never thought I would see the day
when you let your shields down.
 
Have you
told her yet?
 
Or is this going to take
as long as working the courage up to talk to her?”
 

“Fuck you.”
 
Derek stated with amusement lining the words.
 
He took a deep breath and leaned his head
back on his chair.
 
“No, I haven’t told
her.
 
I do have a plan though.
 
And I actually need your help with it.”
 

Alex looked both amused and puzzled.
 
“I’m not forming some boy band with you to
sing your undying love to her.”
 

“I would never torture the woman or the
world with your singing.
 
I need you to
run the company for a bit.
 
I am going to
take a vacation.”
 
Alex stared at Derek,
saying nothing.
 
Derek could only imagine
what was going through his friend's mind.
 
Being in love with Roni was less of a shock to his best friend than him
taking a vacation he was sure.
 
“I plan
to be gone for a month… leaving my laptop and phone behind.”
 
More stunned silence. Derek decided to carry
on, hoping his friend didn’t have an aneurysm or anything.
 
“I booked a house with a private beach off
the coast of Barbados.
 
The plan is for
Roni and me to leave right after the Gala next Saturday.”
