The hairdresser said, “Yeah, it’ll only be a couple minutes, hon.”

It was more like ten minutes.

The Seattle’s Best coffee shop at nine thirty in the morning was jammed. They took their drinks and sat at a recently vacated high table. After sipping her caffe latte, Jessie flashed a coy smile. “You know, Glor, from the sounds I heard from the next room, I would have suspected an orgy was going on.”

Gloria smiled at the foam moustache that rested on her sister’s upper lip. She took her napkin and gently wiped Jessie’s lip. “Very funny, sis. You know very well what was going on.”

Jessie’s smile seemed as broad as Hanauma Bay. “Yeah, I know. Sounds like you had yourself a time. Tell me, was Kino as good as advertised?”

Gloria took a sip of her latte. “Better. I forgot sex could be that good. But I didn’t come to talk about that. Jessie, this morning I screwed up.”

She giggled when Jessie wiped foam from her lip. “Tell me about it.”

As you might suspect after a night of hot blissful sex, I woke up in a fantastic mood. Maybe that was my downfall, wanting more of the indescribable feeling I’d experienced with his cock inside me. Kino was asleep and hard, having a sexy dream—I could tell. Wanting just a sample of what I felt last night, I straddled him and put him inside me—
without protection!
I never thought about it, yesterday morning, and last night, he took care of it.

Anyway, I was moving around with him inside me and, like last night, it felt great. Then he woke up saying ‘don’t stop.’ So I moved even harder and it felt heavenly. So great that after a few minutes, I came. The trouble is, so did he. I felt it inside me and pulled off him and he was going off like a Yellowstone geyser.” She touched her hair. “Even got some here. Jessie, he’d been asleep. I never thought about him ejaculating.”

Baby, aren’t you on the pill?”

No, that’s the problem. I’ve had some minor problems lately and the doctor wanted me to try some different pills. He told me to stop taking my old ones and after my period next month, take the new ones.” I put my hand on hers. “Jessie, it’s my fertile time. I just know I’ll be pregnant. I have a career and I don’t want to be a mother, let alone an unwed one.”

Jessie laughed.

Je-e-ess…it’s not funny!”

I know, sweetheart. It’s just that for such a smart cookie, you sure are naïve about some things. You were playing with fire and got singed. It’s not the end of the world. We’ve got options.”

She shook her head emphatically. “You know abortion is the only thing we disagree on.”

I’m not talking about abortion. First of all, you didn’t get his full load, and I’ll bet he came last night, too. Right?”

Gloria nodded. “Ah-huh. Three times all with protection. I had five.”

Good for you. That means his little tadpole thingy maker didn’t have time to rejuvenate fully, therefore, you probably only received a small percentage of the usual amount of thingys. This would reduce the chances of conception during ovulation from 40 to…I’m guessing, twenty percent.”

Twenty percent!” She felt herself panicking again and began to hyperventilate. “Oh my God! Am I in trouble!”

No, you’re not, dammit! Let me finish. If you think you’re pregnant, and it sounds like you do, you can take the morning-after pill for up to three days afterward. Just go to the shopping center across the street. See if there’s a drug store and ask for the morning-after pill. It’s over the counter, but the pharmacist should help you find it. One brand I know of is Levonelle, but there’re several different kinds.”

She put her arm around her sister and kissed her on the cheek. “Thanks, Jessie. I feel better already. I better get back to Kino.”

Wait up. I’ll come up with you.”

Good idea. I want to tell you about the wonderful place Kino took me to last night.”

She told Jessie all about the wonderful time she had at Hanauma Bay, and when she finished said, “Come in with me and we’ll ask our tour guide where we can go.”

They walked in, heard Kino talking on the phone and headed into the sleeping area. “Absolutely. I heard someone come in so I better go. I’ll catch ya later.”

They came around the corner and he was sitting up in the bed, still naked, but with a sheet over his lower half. Expecting them, he’d formed his patented smile. “Hi, I thought I heard you.” He nodded to Jessie. “Hi, Jessica. Nice to see you again. I love your hair.”

Thank you, Kino. I just had it done in the salon by a cute raven-haired girl named Suzy Q. Do you remember her?”

He shrugged. “Can’t say I do.”

Five four, short black hair, kind of gothic, three tattoos, pearl piercing through her tongue and somewhere personal. She seems to know you.”

Oh, Suzy Q. Yes, she was a redhead when I knew her. Fiery little thing.” Changing the subject, he addressed her, “Guess what, babe? I switched my shift with someone else so we can spend tomorrow together, too.”

That’s great, do you think you could recommend some places we could go?”

Jessie spoke up, “Yeah, maybe something a little strenuous. I have even more incentive to lose weight now.”

Hmm. We could hike Diamond Head. That’s strenuous, but by the time we got there today it would be too hot. Would you like to go there early tomorrow?”

Jess nodded. “How early?”

Seven at the latest. Six if we can.”

I’ll be ready. You two just come and get me.”

She leaned over and kissed him. “Thanks, but what can we do today?”

Oh, I can think of plenty of things to do. If you ladies will let me get dressed, we can get going.”

Feeling mischievous, Gloria said, “Go ahead and get dressed.”

He looked at her, then at Jessie, and back at her, almost daring him with her smile, and suddenly he flipped the sheet off and stood.

Oh my God!” Startled, she grabbed Jessie’s arm. “C’mon, sis, let’s go in your room while Kino gets dressed.” As she pulled Jessie through the adjoining door, she could see her sister looking back over her shoulder, wide-eyed.

Jessie spoke first. “I’ll bet you had the time of your life with that man. He is a serious hottie.”

Gloria flashed a wall-to-wall smile. “Did I ever. Jessie, he was wonderful. He was more concerned about my needs than his own. That doesn’t happen very often.”

You know, I had this conversation with the hairdresser, Suzy Q, about Kino. Supposedly, he’s a bit of a legend around here, sleeping with dozens of women, but never getting serious. Nevertheless, they all think he’s a nice guy.”

That doesn’t surprise me. That’s kind of what the cocktail waitress said at Rumours.” She giggled. “Too bad he’s in Hawaii.” She pushed the chair back and stood. “I better get back to him and see what he has planned.”

Jessie looked up. “No, wait, please. There’s more.”

She sat back down. “Yes.”

Do you remember him mentioning a girlfriend he used to go to Rumours with, until she moved to the mainland?”

She nodded. “Ah-huh.”

The word is she left him to pursue an acting career in Hollywood and that triggered his Don Juan behavior.”

What’s your point?”

Like you, his girlfriend was beautiful and talented. I think he has eyes for you, but I don’t want you getting any ideas. He’s nice and gorgeous, but he’s three thousand miles away.”

She laid a hand over Jessie’s. “Don’t worry, honey. I have a career in dancing and choreography waiting for me and I wouldn’t miss it for anything.” I rose again. “Let me go see if he’s ready. I’ll knock on your door when we’re ready to leave.”

She walked up to him as he was tucking his shirt in. “Okay, we’re both ready to go, but first I’d like to ask you a question. Kino, have you ever been tested for…you know?”

STDs? You’re worried about this morning, aren’t you?”

Yeah, a little. You do get around and that was unplanned.”

Don’t worry, sweetheart, I’m clean. I got lab results back just a few days before I met you.”

She couldn’t help but wonder if he made that up. “I don’t understand. Why were you tested? Do you get tested regularly?”

He shook his head and glanced at her. “Naw. I caught a little bug and took the medicine for it for three weeks. The doctor wanted to make sure it was gone. I can show you if you want to see.”

She felt bad for doubting him. “No, that’s all right. I believe you.”
Whew, now I only have to worry about being pregnant, and I’ll take care of that tomorrow.
“I feel much better now. What do you have planned?”

Well, I had hoped you’d crawl back in bed with me.” He winked. “But since you brought your sister back with you, that’s out of the question. I thought I’d start by taking you both to brunch at Kimo and Boots. After that I have a couple places in mind.”

That afternoon, and over the next two days, Kino led a dual life—Kino the tour guide during the day, and Kino the lover supreme every night.

During the day, Kino took her sister and her to
Pearl Harbor
, the
Polynesian Cultural Center
, Iolani Palace and the Bishop Museum. They visited Chinatown again, went shopping at the Ala Moana Mall and the Ward Center. They climbed up Diamond Head one day, and hiked Makapuu Point trail the next.

At night, Kino wove a web of dependence on Gloria by delivering extraordinary, flawless lovemaking. She was getting used to having him around and, worse yet, addicted to his steady diet of carnal pleasures. It was going to be extremely hard to leave him.

Chapter Seven - The Last Day

The day both of them had dreaded—the last day—had arrived.

Still in her glory under a sexy robe, she sat next to Kino. He was naked under the sheets. “I have to be at the airport for my flight by ten

tomorrow. What are we going to do today?”

Well, I was hoping you’d crawl back in bed with me.”

Smiling, she untied the front of her robe and slipped it over her shoulders, letting it flitter down her arms to the floor. As she pulled the covers back and slid into the bed, she kissed him passionately. “Ooh, you naughty boy, I hoped you’d say that. After sex, then what?”

Then I want to take you somewhere that has a magnificent view of Honolulu and the ocean. There we would swim and make love, and when night comes, we both would dress up.”

All I have is that white cocktail dress I wore on our first date.”

Perfect, I would love to see you dressed to the nines again before you leave. After we get dressed I will fix a gourmet candlelight dinner. And this time, following dinner, we will take our formal clothes off for the last time.” He winked.

After an hour-long bout of steamy sex, they enjoyed a high-calorie lunch at the Hula Grill to make up for all the energy they’d burned. He carried the dress and heels he’d asked her to bring, and she remembered to pack a camera in her handbag, in addition to her bikini. They strolled hand in hand like lovers to the employee parking lot where Kino’s red Jeep was parked.

He opened the door. “Hop in.”

Once on the road, Kino drove out of Honolulu on a road that led up into the hills. Everything was so green and beautiful. From the road, she could see Honolulu and the ocean. She was simply in awe. “Oh, Kino, Hawaii is so beautiful.”

I know.”

Where are we going?”

Up in the hills to a friend’s house. She’s letting me use the house while she’s out of town.”

She bit her lip to keep from laughing. No surprise there—a female friend letting him use her house. “Does your friend know you’re bringing girls to her house for lustful pursuits?”

He turned that wide white smile on her. “Just you, and I won’t tell her if you don’t.”

I don’t even know who it is.”

Before her eyes, his smile altered from good to naughty. He wiggled his eyebrows. “I guess she’ll never know. Here we are.”
